I saw in a recent post you made about how you don't like, have many thoughts about Hiyoko post-despair and I. have a lot running around in my brain about her. Like, here's someone who is terrible to everyone all the time as a defense mechanism, and she finally meets someone as horrible as her. At first she's like "Oh fuck yeah, finally some bitch who isn't a massive pushover." But as things go on, Hiyoko starts caring less and less about anyone, and willingly goes along with the rush of despair. After all, those executives at Hope's Peak were doing weird mad science, so they deserved what happened to them, right? Right? And then later! Having to be on an island surrounded by people you've tormented not just while as an ultimate despair, but even before that! Having to spend every interaction trying not to slip into calling people trashy or skanky or whatever else is running through her head, because now finally, she realizes how bad everyone else has had it. She may not have like. Stolen a limb or anything from Junko, but she's surrounded by people who did, who were THAT deep in devotion and despair, and she has to reconcile that for a lot of the tragedy, she was just... having fun. It was fun for her to be that way. Idk I'm having trouble verbalizing it right but Hiyoko has. SUCH character potential and though we don't get to see it much in-game, I would LOVE to see her interacting with the other Remnants more. She's a trashy little sister to all of them.

THIS is how you make me think about characters I don't focus on. Those are interesting thoughts!
