this is a lil gift for @hunterxfics / @seijuroww cause i felt like writing some sweet campika fluff today!! hope you like it Cam, your and kurapika are super canon and you both deserve the world <33

a little senopsis - you spend a well deserved sunday rest w/ kurapika, full of fluff and cuddles!! kurapikas also a lil bit of a flirt but it’s okay cause he got you a present :)) also a lil bit of indirect nsfw at the end ;)))

As you flopped onto the bed, you sighed with joy. Working all week non - stop can get stressful, and not spending time with Kurapika just made it worse. Now you finally get your rest, and you were hoping to spend most of it with your lover.

‘Honey..?’ the faint voice made your ears perk, you were sure Kurapika wasn’t meant to be home for another half an hour? As you made your way into the kitchen, you couldn’t help but giggle at the state of your boyfriend. Covered with snow, cheeks flushed and bags in each hand. ‘A - aha, do you think you could give a hand Cam?’

‘Of course! Whats in these..?’ Curiosity washed over you as you took a couple of the shopping bags out of his hands. You felt and urge to look inside but you restrained yourself. ‘Oh! Those two are just groceries but that one is a surprise, don’t look in it!’ Before you could peek inside, Kurapik snatched the bag out of you hand and booped your nose. ‘I said no peeking, baby.’ Blushing at the pet name, you turned around and put the last few items away in the cupboard, trying to figure out what in the world was in the bag...

After what felt like an hour, you had finally put the rest of the shopping away. The only things left out was some iceceam, popcorn and drinks. ‘Hm Kurapika, why are those out?’ pointing to the items on the counter. ‘Ah, well I was thinking.. we’ve both been super busy lately and there hasn’t been a time where we can even spend an hour together without interuptions, so i thought we could have a small movie night? Sound good?’

A warm smile overcame your face, along with a faint blush. What would you do without him? ‘I’d love that, babe...’ You interlocked you fingers with his and pulled him towards the bedroom, sticking your tounge out. ‘I’m choosing the movie though!’ Kurapika rolled his eyes and let himsefl be dragged, what would he do without you?

Checking the time, your eyes widened as you saw it was almost midnight. Stiffling a giggle, you gently pushed the sleeping Kurapika of yoir chest, draping a blanket over him. ‘Nggh, w - wait-‘ you looked back and saw Kurapika holding your wrist, ‘Caaaam, you need to open your gift..’

With excitement coming over you, you let out a ‘yay!’ and skipped into the kitchen, grabbing the small bag. Deciding it would be better to open it with Kurapika, you went back into the bedroom. He was sitting up now, folding one of the many blankets you were previously cuddled in. He smiled at you, patting the space next to him.

Without hesitating, you reached inside the bag and pulled out the neatly wrapped item. You shook it a bit trying to guess what he had gotten you. It sounded quite light, you were worried he had gotten something over the top. At this point he was smirking, adding to your confusion. You gently pulled the ribbon and the sides of the box came unfolded. Eyes widening and cheeks flushing, you pulled out the item. Did he seriously..?

‘Do you like it?’ His voice was as smooth as butter, he was teasing you now. Guess you aren’t getting any sleep tonight...

- AHHH I HOPE YOU LIKE IT CAM!! i’ll leave it to yoir imagination to figure out what the ‘item’ is... i’ll give you a clue! it’s made of lace ;))

P. P. S. I wrote the final scenes with "Lacrimosa" by Mozart and "Experience" by Ludovico Einaudi blasting in my earphones. When I tell you I ascendend.

You didn't know where he came from nor how exactly your souls happened to meet.

All you knew was that he was able to understand you like no one ever did in your life.

His name was Kurapika and he had soft, straight blond hair and a pair of gentle but somehow piercing eyes. His hands were silky and as delicate as a flower.

It was kind of hilarious, it looked like one of those cliche stories with the one mysterious boy that managed to read you like you were a book. But it was like that.

You couldn't help but find yourself attracted towards him. The words that came out of the blond's mouth were lovely arrows aimed at your heart, and those arrows had red string of fate around them, bonding you two over and over. His voice was casting an addicting spell and your emotions suddenly started to feel like bombs ready to explode.

Kurapika told you he came from a place far away, one that you didn't visit yet. And that he planned to stay near were you lived for quite a lot time. It was a journey of discovery, according to him. A journey without a certain place to reach.

The aura of mystery around him didn't help with your attraction towards him. He was just a stranger but in your heart it felt like you two have been close since birth. He didn't see you just as Cameron, as a mere name in a world made of names, he saw you as someone, as a person he actually enjoyed spending time with.

With your hands deep in your pockets, you looked around you and let your sight travel along the shape of the hills surrounding the area. Kurapika had a thing for natural places outside the city and you didn't mind. Those places gave you the chance to spend some time alone with him.

You smiled when the familiar slim figure of the blond showed itself, approaching you.

"Cameron!" his soft voice called your name "how are you? It's been... Kind a lot of time" he smiled. You wondered how could vocal chords produce a sound this similar to a violin without even trying.

"I know... I had quite a lot of things to do" you awkwardly laughed as you brought your hand on the back of your neck.

"It's okay" he smiled again gently as he patted your shoulder lightly. But there was something off in his behaviour, his eyes didn't seem as peaceful as ever. You didn't know how to ask him if something was wrong though, Kurapika's always been the secretive type of person.

The two of you walked across the meadow as you kept talking about nearly everything: your days, what did you do lately, interesting things that happened.

All of a sudden Kurapika stopped walking and turned to face you.

What a mesmerizing view, you thought instantly.

The dusk irradiated it's warm but melancholic light, hitting Kurapika's features and spreading orange shades all over his golden hair. His eyes, usually brown, shimmered in a amber-like aura. He looked like a heavenly being.

"Cameron... Could you... Close your eyes for a second?"

"Eh? Why?" you looked at him in confusion.

"Trust me, close your eyes... I'm... Revealing you my biggest secret" he said.

"Your... Biggest secret?" You answered clearly curious and excited about it. What was he going to show you?

"Yes, close your eyes please" he repeated once again.

Without adding any words, you slowly closed your eyes as curiosity and a little bit of anxiety grew stronger and stronger inside of you. You felt some muffled sounds and you had to restrain yourself to open your eyes immediately.

"Now... You can open your eyes" he said in a strange, insecure voice.

You opened your has and slightly pinched your arm to make sure what you were witnessing right there wasn't a dream.

In front of you, there was Kurapika, as normal as ever but...

... White, feathered wings were on his back. The plumage moved a little due the evening wind, as the sun almost hid itself under the horizon. Not only that, a pair of scarlet eyes, with billion of little shining lights, substituted the usual brown. Kurapika's eyes looked like one of those red nebulas in the photos.

The air started to become slightly lavender as the orange disappeared.

You stared in awe at him. You weren't even scared but genuinely surprised. It was like your were teleported into another world in the glimpse of an eye.

The world became silent for seconds that felt like a lifetime.

"I... " Kurapika broke the silence "I... Needed to tell you... We grew closer and closer and hiding my nature from you... It made me feel bad" he sighed and averted his now crimson eyes from yours. "If you... If you don't wanna see me never again I would understand that".

You stepped forward him and dared to touch his soft hands. Maybe someone else would have ran away but that thought never crossed your mind, not even for a second. Kurapika made you feel like no one else never did, he accepted you for who you where and always guided you without any single judgement towards you. Dropping what you two shared because of a pair of wings and eyes... It was unforgivable for you.

"Kurapika, I'm not going to leave you just because of this, " you smiled at him, reassuring your beloved "to me, you're still the same as ever... And well" you glanced at his beautiful wings "... This proves my point" you chuckled.

Kurapika slowly tilted his head to the side as his wings fluttered a bit because of the happiness, accompanied by a small blush on his cheeks.

"Prove... Your point?" he asked while looking at you in the eyes.

"Yes" you approached him even more "this proves you are an angel... My angel" you whispered right before kissing him.

Even his lips tasted and felt like heaven. As the night approached, your bodies and souls warmed up each other with that one, pure and simple, kiss.

Your lips slowly parted and your cheeks were boiling at this point.

"Secrets exchanged with secrets" you smiled, still feeling dizzy from that single kiss "I love you Kurapika".

The angel brought his index fingers to his bottom lip, still amazed.

"Love?" he whispered right before smiling softly at you "yes... I love you too, Cameron".

And your lips met once again, sealing an undying love.

So we both talk A LOT. We seriously never shut the fuck up. 😂 But Akutagawa talks more than I do, especially in social settings. He’s able to strike up a conversation with almost anyone (we love a charismatic king)! I love to hear him talk though, so I just get lost in his words all the time. Whenever I say anything he always has something thoughtful to say in response to it. He truly cares when I talk and he’s so helpful with his responses. 🥺

LITERALLY EVERYTHING HOW CAN I JUST CHOOSE ONE!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍 Everything about Akutagawa makes me so weak. I love his beautiful gray eyes and his sharp nose. His SMILE MAKES MY HEART MELT like damn baby are you trying to kill me!!!!!! I love his slender yet muscular figure. I just want to be in his arms all the time!! They were meant to hold me always!😫😫😫🖤🖤🖤🖤

4. What’s your favorite personality trait they have?

I love his bluntness. 👀 He’s not the type to beat around the bush or be passive aggressive. He’s super up front and it helps keep me in check and make sure we are always communicating well in our relationship. In the beginning he was more reserved, but once he opened up to me he started being vocal about his feelings, needs, etc. It’s also so attractive to see him just be so blunt it could almost be seen as rude to randoms or people he works with. 😂 He does not mess around - it’s sOOOOO HOT!!!!!!🤤

5. What’s your partner’s favorite physical attribute you have?

Akutagawa loves how small I am.😂 He’s constantly making comments about my height and teasing me when I can’t reach things in the house. 😔 He loves to call me his petite little princess. 💞🥰 He’s frequently trying to compare hand sizes, always using it as an excuse to hold my hand afterwards (SO FREAKIN CUTE I JUST LOVE THIS MAN SO MUCH!!). He loves to see me wear his clothes cause they’re so loose and long on me, I’m practically drowning in them but he thinks I look so perfect. He never stops staring!! He totally has a size kink LOL.

6. What’s their favorite personality trait you have?

Akutagawa admires my sweetness.🥺🥺🥺 He thinks I have such a big heart and he wants to protect it with his entire being! He can’t believe how nice I am to people I don’t even know and he always tells me he can just feel that it’s genuine too, since he knows me so well. He thinks it’s an amazing trait, but he’s always telling me to be careful and take care of my own needs too. He’s very adamant about me not letting myself get taken advantage of by others because of my kindness.

Akutagawa used to love to smoke cigarettes when I met him, which I thought was a gross habit. I convinced him to go onto vaping and we got matching juuls together (couple goals!). Since he has a lung disease, I try my best to get him to vape less and hopefully quit eventually, but he has to make that decision his own! Other than that he doesn’t really have any habits I can’t stand.

12. One thing they’d consider your bad habit?

Akutagawa hates that I bite my nails. He knows it’s because of my anxiety and he tries to be understanding but he really doesn’t like it at all. He thinks it’s gross and he tells me there’s no need for things like that. He’s mad because he thinks I have such cute, small hands and he hates to see the hangnails and messed up nails. So he’s always paying for me to get my nails done and keep them looking good, anything to stop me from biting them! He’s so thoughtful. If he ever catches me like biting at my nails he gently swats my hand and tells me to stop and asks me if there’s anything going on that’s making me anxious.

It feels like we’ve been together forever! Hehehe but I’ll leave the actual number up to your imagination. Time is just a number!! We’ll be together for the rest of time & forever more, which is what matters most to me 💞

15. How long did it take before you moved in together (if you live together)?

Only a few months! We both had our own places, but we spent so much time together it just didn’t make sense to be living separately! We both hated sleeping alone so we spent almost every night together since our first date. 🥺 Eventually we decided we should just live together to keep things simple and not be spending so much time driving back and forth to each others places when we can just live together instead!!

16. How was your first kiss and who’s the better kisser?

OMG our first kiss was like movie magic perfect!! It was so soft and passionate, underneath the moonlight and stars on the balcony of his condo. We were just talking and he pulled me in and kissed me, talking about how he had been waiting months for this moment. His lips felt like heaven against mine. 🤤🤤🤤🤤 I’d say he’s the better kisser. But if you ask him he’s going to say I am! He loves my kisses so much and I literally can’t get enough of his either. He’s perfect! 😫😫😫💞💞💞💞

19. What’s your favorite kind of music is there’s the same as yours?

My music taste varies but it’s usually a mix of EDM, Pop, R&B, Alternative & Emo, whatever sounds good to me in the moment. He has a similar music taste, liking a little bit of everything, but we both HATE country music HAHAH thank god for that. Some of our favorite music groups are the Neighbourhood and The Weeknd. We both vibe SO hard with them. I remember telling him how much I loved them and his eyes lit up instantly and it just made us fall even harder for each other. We started sharing music & making playlists for each other and now we have like all the same favorite songs and they’re all just tied to our relationship memories. It’s the cutest thing ever! 🥺🌸✨

20. Who’s the more romantic one and how do they show it?

Surprisingly, Akutagawa is more romantic than I am. 😳 I tend to just be very vocal and physical with my love and praise towards him, but he branches out with expressing his love. He’s always texting me to check up on me during the day, calling me if he misses my voice, leaving me notes around the house or in my purse/car where he knows I will see them. 🥺 He’s a hopeless romantic since he’s never felt this way about anyone before. I absolutely love it and try to do more for him to reciprocate the love. 🥰
