I finished A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder and I’M OBSESSED. It was so good. True Crime is so huge that it makes sense that a teenage girl would be like, “oh yeah, I’m going to look into this local thing for my high school project” and it addresses and with most crimes, it’s usually kind of just like, “one person is responsible” and it actually details how person a got to be in the position that they ended up in and all of the other things around that. Just really well done.

NEW MUSIC:

Pop-punk outfit Signs of Progress released their newest song “Truth or Dare” over the weekend. The song is set to appear on the band’s upcoming third EP, which is a follow-up to last year’s The Static Hero EP.

Scene Queen announced that her new EP Bimbocore Vol. 2 will be released this Thursday, November 10 via Hopeless Records. The artist recently collaborated with Set It Off’s Cody Carson on the song “Barbie & Ken.”

NOFX released their newest song “Punk Rock Cliche” last week. The band is set to release a new album called Double Album, a follow-up and companion to last year’s Single Album.

Avril Lavigne and Yungblud teamed up for a new song titled “I’m a Mess.” The pair previously performed together on The YUNGBLUD Show back in 2020, where they performed her classic song “I’m With You.”

nothing,nowhere. shared his latest song titled “Cyan1de” featuring Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz. It follows on from “M1SERY_SYNDROME,” which features Senses Fail’s Buddy Nielsen.

Ville Valo delivered another piece of his upcoming solo album Neon Noir with a song titled “The Foreverlost.” The album is set to arrive on January 13 next year via Heartagram Records.

Creeper released a new track titled “Ghost Brigade” after delivering a set at London’s Roundhouse. The band also revealed their new logo.

Magnolia Park released a new music video for their recent song “Radio Reject.” The song comes off the band’s debut album Baku’s Revenge, which is out everywhere now.

Set It Off released a video for their track “Dangerous,” which comes off their most recent full-length Elsewhere. The band recently released a new version of their track “Why Do I,” reworked alongside Hatsune Miku.

TOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Paramore performed their new song “This is Why” live on The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon. The band will be releasing their new album of the same name next year on February 10 and recently announced an arena tour.

The Wonder Years performed a live version of their new song “Laura and the Beehive” in a field of sunflowers. The song appears on the band’s new album The Hum Goes on Forever, which is out now via Hopeless Records.

Coheed and Cambria announced that they will be embarking on their second-ever S.S. Neverender cruise. The band will set sail from October 23 to 27, 2023 from Miami to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic aboard the Norwegian Pearl.

Bring Me the Horizon announced they will be making their headlining debut at Download Festival next year. They will be joined by Metallica and Slipknot as headliners for the event.

OTHER NEWS:

Paramore’s self-titled album is now certified Platinum in the United Kingdom. Two songs off the album, “Ain’t It Fun” and “Still Into You,” also previously reached certification status.

Jeremy Bolm of Touché Amoré made a cameo in the new Weird Al Yankovic biopic Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. The film stars actor Daniel Radcliffe in the titular role and is available now to stream on Roku.

Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz announced he will be working on a new graphic novel through Vault Comics as part of their Headshell series. The story is titled Dying Inside and is made alongside Hannah Klein and Lisa Sterle.

Palaye Royale secured their first Top 40 album in the United Kingdom with their latest album Fever Dream. The album placed at No. 37.
