Tiny Toons Looniversity is a goldmine for me, Buster’s so googoo! Here’s an art dump!

So I hc him to be a casual glasses wearer cuz it’d be ironic for a rabbit toon (known for their massive intake on carrots) to have mid eyesight. He experiences eyestrain frequently cuz he does most of his notetaking on his laptop, and it took him till the gossip/Merlin episode for him to be revealed to wear glasses. Now he wears them casually.

Evil Buster retaining Buster’s illusion abilities woulda been chaos btw, I wish continuity was more a thing. He coulda gone “got your nose” at Plucky and then the beak is stolen, and they brawl. Evil Buster left too soon…

Anyways, I got more ideas to illustrate, so expect more before the end of the month maybe!!

Kali Call Of Darkness THEORY?

❗❗MAJOR SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO ARE PLAYING FOR THE FIRST TIME:❗❗

In S1E7, we have a conversation with Sana, where she says the following:

"For helping a lost sheep."

"Muktakeshi will punish me for disobeying..."

With these lines, we can deduce, that the Chauhans (especially Priyanka) have strictly instructed her not to disclose a single information about the city and the religion, and especially, The Dozen.

So as per I think, Amrit worked to get Amala from London to Kolkata, and the entire murder of particularly Hayes was a stage play. They were already sacrificing humans, so Amrit proposed to sacrifice Hayes, to attract attention of the British govt. And therefore pull strings to get Gabriel vouch for Amala, despite her being inexperienced asf. We get to know this only in Killian's route though.

Amrit saw how Calcutta was basically 'without order' and all the stuff and wanted the Basus to be back. He arranged for Amala to stay at a former Banerjee's (one of the Dozen) household (We know that Priyanka was a Banerjee before her marriage and after marriage she became a Chauhan), so that Amala could become closer to the culture and way of life, as well as gather information. Devdas didn't know shit until Amala came, but Vimal got to know everything, and therefore warned Priyanka about Amala and the return of the Basus.

He made a deal with Priyanka, that if she keeps an eye on Amala, without disclosing information about their family and the Dozen, and reporting her activities to Vimal, he may will help her conceive. He knew the stubborn nature of the Basu women, and knew that if Amala got to know about it, she would do anything to avenge her family, and finish him, just like he did to her family in Kliphagrami in 1957. In other words, Priyanka would help him keep the Basus away as much as possible, as "another Basu got in his way" (we already know he wanted to take the place of Basus and his brother Devdas), and he would help her conceive.

Priyanka on the greed of having a child, made all sorts of arrangements, including warning Sana not to tell Amala shit.

However, Sana "disobeys" Priyanka and Aryan, and gives her info about Brahmins and other knowledge about Hinduism as she felt pity and compassion for her. In this situation, Amala is our "lost sheep" in Sana's view as she doesn't know anything about her own family and her own importance, but Sana knows. In S1E3, we see this prompt when we were discussing the vision at the hotel room with Sana in the hallway:

The exact next night, the Chauhans take out Sana and arranges her wedding. She got matched for helping our "lost sheep". Her wedding was a plan to basically seperate her from Amala as soon as possible, so that Amala could not get information. That is why they rushed the marriage as soon as possible.

Oh, and Sana figured out their plans, and decides to warn Amala even immediately before her wedding.

On the day of her wedding, her groom Manu was killed by Devdas, as he got to know he touched his secret stash of books being a Shudra (lower caste) (the Doobay fam is a family of psychopaths).

How did he know that?

On S1E6, when Amala was sent downstairs forcefully from her bedroom by Priyanka, she made Sana search her room for the book of Mahanirvana Tantra. Sana knowing the location of book, gave away Amala. Priyanka now knew about the location of the book and handed it over to Devdas later. That is how Devdas got to know Manu touched his books. Now why did Sana give away Amala in this case? She was probably threatened by Priyanka.

On Sana's wedding day, Manu was murdered, making Sana a white widow (💎choice) or a Sati ritual victim (smh research about modern India by Remy.) This drifted Sana away from Amala more. Her main source of info was stopped.

Manu's death was a coincidence, and not a part of Vimal and Priyanka's plan. Devdas is just a psycho.

However, Amrit and Ratan twisted the circumstances to the point Amala eventually found out about her family, as well as her visions about the past. On the other hand, Kiran arrived. Priyanka gave this informative to Vimal as per the deal. When Vimal got to know about Amala's awareness, he finally sought on killing her and exchange Kiran's energy and soul for Priyanka's child. Probably the reason why Priyanka was so excited at the news of his arrival.

So back to point, our Sana is afraid that Kali will punish her for disobeying her masters and she feels like it is her punishment for helping the "lost sheep" that is Amala.

Need your help/adives...

I have no idea how to organize my work at the moment... For my book. I don't know where to begin. I have so many things to do and no ideas in which direction I should go.

I just clean my folders and arrange all the should go with the novel in one neat folder. I put this folder out of my Fanfic WIP and put it with the Novels WIP (you read that right, I have also a lot of novels wip).

So far so good but now, what?

I need to read references, articles and book on the medieval time, medieval people, history, geography and culture, clothes, architecture, market and weapons, even agriculture that would fit with this time.

I need to create a map where I have a good idea of the distance between all my locations, for travel duration.

I need to create calendars, religious festivities, phylosophy and holy place

I need a better hold of the geography (goes with the map) but also, weather pattern (there is an importance there), climate.

I need to develop my characters, some are really well set but other not so much.

I have to see how deep I want into fantasay: magic or not, faeries people, enviroment, etc.

and this is just for my novel. The drawings for my children tales will allow me to change my mind when I can't do anything else.

So, what do you think? suggests? would do? All of your experiences and advices are very welcome.

i don’t think we’re ever getting out of the “we’re just friends” “oh yeah those characters are such good friends (sarcasm)” “they’re not friends they’re gay” etc etc hole. we’re never getting out of that hole

#yes it’s bad when people try to erase gay relationships to portray them as friends and nothing more #that is NOT what i mean. i’m talking about when people do the Opposite Thing and decide that when characters are romantic togethr #then suddenly they’re not friends anymore! or if they say they’re friends they’re lying! #like … i was watching nimona with my friend yesterday and like. if you’ve seen the movie you know how obviously gay and in love bal and #ambrosius are. and then there’s this one moment where ambrosius says ‘i have lost everything the man i love my best friend’ and at that #moment my friend was like It’s sad that they decided to censor their relationship even though this movie is still rly gay :( and i was like #WHAT are you saying ? these two men are clearly in love with one another BUT they’re also best friends. Like those are things that can #coexist!! and DO coexist!!! there are many cases where people consider their romantic partners their best friends . or even refer to them as #their best friends more than just partner!!!!!! I understand why everyone who read dunmeshi instantly shipped marci and falin but tbh the fact that it's just treated as canon by the fandom cuts on a lot of interesting analysis that could be done on their relationship outside of the romantic reading, which is kind of a shame

#when i read through i spent a lot of time trying to understand if marci saw her as an equal or as a younger friend she had to take care of #this started from her comment about how 29yo is “a child” and falin is younger than that #and then the scene in the bathroom which is very loved by the shippers #it felt a lot like falin understood the implications and marci didn't yk #i read that and it just felt like they were failing to communicate bc marci just couldn't see falins body as something she should be #embarrassed about #very mom with a child behaviour #same in the bed falin mentioned growing up and marci said it was just the same #doesn't it imply she still sees her as a kid? #there's that time in the backstory of when she first met laios and how she treats falin like a kid who can't make her own choices too #like she tells laios off for taking her away and then tells her she'll take her back to the academy like falin isn't #perfectly able to choose for herself #extremely “mom knows best” of her?? #there's a lot of moments like that #then there's also everything that could be said about falin being marcis first friend and what it means for her to die #like...if you just call it romance it goes to undermine a bigger issue in marci's character imo? #like marci went to those lengths just cause she's in love with her but i think the point is that this was yet another person she lost before #she was ready to let her go? her character arc culminates in her accepting that falin might just be dead after all #and even with the possibility of falin being reborn she was ready to be taken away by the elves and never see her again #this is incredible growth for her but it only makes sense if falin was just one of many friends this could have happened with #and not the love of her life? I'd assume she would want to spend the rest of falins life with her if that was the case #whether or not she got over her fear of everyone dying before her #it's a thought! i think it's interesting to think about! #it's fun to ship them so I'm not saying we shouldn't or whatever but not treating it as canon now and again would open #to so many possibilities #for example I can't get out of my brain the scenario in which falin is in love with her and marci just can't see it until it's too late #kind of like himmel and frieren? think of the angst!! all lost because we just assume they're canon......tragic

No webcomic has made me as uncomfortable as 'I Tamed my Ex-Husband's Mad-Dog' *Mini Rant post*

The fact that the FL took in the ML when he was 16 while she was (I believe) 21-22 and they have a romance???? Not while he was 16, I believe he was over 18 when it began but STILL. I was hoping it wouldn't actually be romance and rather devotion turned toxic but ~no~ it's romance. It's so uncomfortable it makes my skin CRAWL.

And the fact that the FL took him in while he was starving and completely alone knowing it'd make him loyal to her is super creepy. This whole webcomic is so creepy.

The only other comic I know that made me so uncomfortable I had to stop was the one on Tapas where the two adopted siblings grew up together and still had a romance. Bc blood related or not, that's your sibling!!! It's weird!!!!!!!

I had no idea webtoon had a sound option at all, and it took me a few seconds to figure it out! It's a very nice spooky instrumental soundtrack though, very gothic.

Going all in on the Poe references right away! Of course her name is Lenore.

Again, had the user name Nevermore, I'm a bit of a Poe fan, so that's good with me! I don't know if it's just a cute reference or she's going to have some more similarities with the Lenore in the Raven- I do love the idea of seeing the archetypal Dead Girlfriend of the Poet get to be an active main character in her own right.

last magireco bitching post for tonight i promise but i think all those people who complain that sayaka and homura are abusive and horrible and unreasonable for the crime of being manipulated and traumatized 14 year olds in awful situations and arent perfect little victims about it should go watch magireco and have their brains implode bc i think yachiyo is like. so much worse

#like yachiyo is actually an adult first of all they say shes in college and has been working for seven years #and i wont deny shes been through shit. shes felt guilty for her wish and watched her friends die #shes still a sympathetic character where u get why shes cold. but GOD the way she treats mifuyu makes me uncomfortable #like she regrets the worst of it when her doppel shows up but the narrative and mifuyu still go #''oh no yachiyo you ARE right to say that tee hee'' #yachiyo gives me the vibe of someone who's like ''well IM suffering because of my choices. so should YOU'' #also how she gets pissed at mifuyu for getting taken into a cult when shes at her lowest #and again keeps calling her weak like. good lord leave her alone #like. at least sayaka has a clear reason for acting the way she does and we see that in the show #shes guilty and traumatized from mami's death and is selfless to a fault #she blames homura for mami's death because of her own prejudices that have been instilled in her by then #she basically self sabotages and hurts herself because she thinks shes worthless compared to mami #she lost her childhood friend who. tbh really WASNT treating her well like obv he doesnt owe her a romance #but hes her childhood friend and he basically constantly brushes her off in the show #and we see more of that in rebellion where he does the same to hitomi #like. sayaka fucks up she gets cruel but you GET why she does it and it feels earned and good for the plot #yachiyo though. part of this is just character bloat and the weird pacing but her nastiness doesnt feel earned #yes season 2 shows that she wants to distance herself from others because her friends died. thats fair #that explains why she was cold in season 1. sure. thats fine that works as an arc and i usually love arcs like this #but then she's cruel to the lower grunts who were absolutely manipulated into the magias #and constantly implies theyre weak #and berates mifuyu (her best friend apparently) for breaking down after learning the truth #because ''oh well we DID accept this. we were idiots after all. lmao get over it and fight again'' #and mifuyu is evil incarnate that must repent forever for. getting dragged into a cult at her lowest moment #after her friend was a dick to her fresh off her trauma. and of course leaving her which gave her Abandonment Issues #god sorry maybe the rest of the show will save it for me maybe itll call out this behavior from her #also it bugs me how even her cold behavior isnt really mentioned and shes just fawned over by the rest of the cast #like. sayaka and homura's behavior was called out as unhealthy and bad for them and the others! #echoed voice
