So I’ve been a huge fan of The Sandman comics ever since I was a teen and now that the show is here I of course am back on my bullshit. One thing I’m very interested in seeing how they handle/approach is Daniel.
As a teen reading Sandman I was really upset with the idea that Morpheus *dies* and I didn’t really understand Daniel as a character.
But as I’ve gotten older I’ve really come to love Daniel and have come to the conclusion that Dream doesn’t truly die. He evolves and changes, he might not be *the* Morpheus we followed throughout the series but rather he becomes something more? Something new.
Like this sounds so silly to be this attached to a character and their story but like I feel like it’s totally valid to mourn for Morpheus but also at the same time celebrate his new beginning as Daniel? He sees the world and his appointment through different eyes and for me it’s almost like how we as humans go through life? Aspects of us die or disappear but we are still the same person and as we change we get to see the world through new discoveries we hadn’t considered before.
Anyway just me talking about my love for Dream and Daniel thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
Bounty hunter ambush during ship maintenance? Less than ideal. Certainly doesn't help that Cal can't do any Jedi flips and Boba keeps getting yanked around by those damn binders.
Hi loves! Here's a few workout tips just to keep everyone motivated!
Stretching
I know it doesn't seem very important but doing the right stretches can burn upwards of 50 calories for a somewhat short stretch routine! It is also a good way to maintain stamina throughout your workout and to give up part way through!
Short Workouts
Try dividing a long workout into multiple shorter workouts. For example, instead of doing one 45 minute workout do a familiar 15 minute workout three times back to back.
Yoga
A good idea is to cool down from a workout with 30 minutes - 1 hour of guided yoga. You can find simple yoga routines recorded and guided online!
Scheduling Exercise
Here's a good schedule I often follow that I find easy to use:
MORNING: 15 minute stretch, 30-45 minute workout, 30 minute yoga
AFTERNOON: Optional stretch and small workout (less than 30 minutes), optional short yoga.
EVENING: 15 minute stretch, 1 hour workout, 30-45 minute yoga.
Cal flinches. Fives wants to shoot whatever made his vod react like that.
“No,” Cal says, twisting his hands up in the long sleeves of the borrowed top. When they had found the nipper stowed away on the ship he had been wearing a comically oversized poncho in bright pink. Now he is wearing something the General had dug out of the depths of somewhere. “I'm fine.”
Echo hums. Fives knows the other doesn't believe him, he doesn't believe him.
