I don't think the pink haired Firbolg in the background is Cadeusus. I do think they're a member of the Clay family, but I don't think it's Cad, because he talked about his family coming and going from the Grove, but he wasn't much of an adventurer until the M9.

10+ headcanons, Cadeusus Clay

Some of this I can’t remember if is confirmed or debunked so if I’m dead wrong I’m sorry.

If not the youngest of the Clays, definitely in the bottom three of a LARGE family. I’m talking 8-10 kids large.

The best cook of his family, and they all are/were endlessly grateful for him. Caduceus grew up knowing he had a knack, and is proud of it.

All the (few) books he’s ever read have been on non-fiction subjects. The first time Jester shows him a fiction story he’s fascinated by the concept of people writing down fake adventures (especially when the real adventures he has been on have been so far so fantastical).

Loves when people play with his hair, and equally loves to play with other people’s - with their permission.

Really quick to pick up musical instruments, strangely enough. Would never be able to read music but has a really good ear for it. 

Would be super into terrariums.

Sadly has the Cilantro Tastes Like Soap gene. He’ll put it the others’ food because he knows they like it, though.

If there’s an ace version of being into Competency Porn, that’s him. He loves watching people do the Thing they’re best at. 

Cannot dance and is happy to keep it that way.

There are few things he’s self-conscious about because he wasn’t raised to be, if that makes sense. However, if there's anything that he might sort of be that way about, it’s his height.
