Headcanon A:  realistic

He's the seniormost Protector, but he chooses to defer to Munk bc he trusts him and his judgement.

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious

His waistcoat is stolen goods courtesy of teazer. Also he's always running behind schedule in the luggage van bc he's trying to Pouncival-proof the exit. It never works.

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

He took Teazer in when she was a tiny one...only for her to get snatched back by Macavity's tribe despite his best efforts. They're still close when they reunite and Teazer is still a daddy's girl but they're both v aware that they can't get the chunk of time back where they were separated and they do have to get to know each other again.

It's part of why I think he's particularly over protective of pounce. Who he also took in when tiny but this time was gonna make sure he didn't lose.

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.

He has a Scottie Dog sitcom frenemy/business rival in Carlisle Citadel named Albert who also has 2 adopted babies but his are twins and littermates and currently still babies and also better behaved. There are the usual sitcom rivalry shenanigans

I thought "The mystical divinity" line was in Enlgish at first because of the words. It isn't

Mungoteazer were next to each other in the Pyramid

Deut just kind of swinging his arms from the tire as they dance

Munk is PISSED that the man over there has never heard of a Jellicle Cat. They both can't believe it. He looks really nice, I see that curve in his headfur :)

Quaxo looks pretty ominous in the darkness during The Naming of Cats.

They're a little disconnected at some points during the poem. I would call it a song, but it's more like a chant

I think some of them enetered the audience to tell them about their names.

Quaxo dissapears into the shadows right before Victoria's solo. Which she does effortlessly

Jellilces come to the Jellicle Ball

OH MUNK. I quite like this one. He's up on the Ford or something instead of in front of the tribe to fill us in on the Ball

These instrumentals are so nice

Pouncival and some kitty were starting to get into a fight before Munk began singing — WAIT. Quaxo is singing Jennyanydots' introduction?? I thought he was standing there forever the gag

I quite like this version. He sits atop the Ford as it raises

This Tugger sure is energetic. Into the audience he goes to bother audeince members. HE PET THEIR HEADS

He shoved his tail into Etcetera's mouth and his that one pointing up and down sisco move.

In comes Grizabella. Skimble shoved a kitten away from touching her. Her headfur is rather fluffy. Protective Jenny stopped Sillabub/Jemima from touching her, then Pouncival (?) scratched her

Munk is Munkustancing in the darkness . He seems angry with her.

SKIMBLE LEAPED TO STOP JEMIMA/SILLABUB FROM TOUCHING HER WHILE SHE SANG

Munk is just kind of standing in the darkness, his face and chest illuminated by a small light, and he has a deep frown. He's really upset. Alonzo is in Protector mode doing a stance in front of another cat.

This is is really making it seem like Griz hurt them in the past, and she looks heartbroken.

Munk didn't really do too much to block Griz except for that one moment. That was a bit intense

In comes Bustopher Jones, accompanied by a suddenly cheerful Munkustrap. Just like that, everyrhing has lightened up. Though it's still rather dark where the lightd aren't shining.

Mistoffelees is very mature in this one. Perhaps he's an adult for this production. He can have a little adulting as a treat.

Pounce or someone rolled in front of Bustopher and caused a little stir

Munk seems enamoured by Bustopher, listening so intently at his side

Cori or Tantomile stopped Bustopher from falling offstage by... laying and sticking their legs up at him. To which he shook his spoon at their face a little

Munk is so tall !

Pouncival came for pets from Skimble and Munk but got none.

Jenny and Jelly are simply head over heels for Bustopher Jones! All the cats are lining up now, and he stops, seeming particularly pleased with Quaxo. What a nice change

Plato is also tall, about Munk's height. For obvious reasons

MACAVITY SCARE ! They're calling him Macavity in this one, so it sounds.

Rumpleteazer is laughing her ass off before Mungo shushes her. And then she bursts out laughing a second time. I quite like these two

The instrumentals are little different than the usual in a select few parts. Slightly slower, more subtle in some ways

I'm trying to decipher if they're siblings oe partners in this production. Either way they're both super good looking

Rumple has both her collar and her pearls on ! It usually seems she puts on the collar later.

They work so well together.

HAHAH MUNGO TEAZER ACT SO DEVASTATED ABOUT THE VASE BEFORE BURSTING OUT INTO LAUGHTER, I LOVE THESE TWO

Instead of doing the joint cartwheel together, they're both cartwheeling in sync

And there's nothing at all to be done about that !

They skip along on their merry way until they're stopped by Alonzostrap and the rest. Their bags are thrown to who knows where.
