I decided to try making and using an Amiibo card for Flick, because of that conversation I had with C.J. not long ago about Flick coming to The Roost.

Turns out that Flick brings his partner C.J. with him, which is predictable and, depending on how you feel about such things, good or bad. Personally, I was a little disappointed, but only because of how predictable it was.

I’m curious about whether or not Flick will appear when I scan my Nat card, which I’ll do at some point. All I know for sure is that Nat apparently confirms that Flick is his son, which was something people only speculated to be true before the 2.0 update.

Anyway, Flick and C.J. normally drink coffee in separate rooms, so maybe their home lives aren’t quite as lovey-dovey as we would have all hoped. That, or they only drink coffee while they work their day jobs, which are of course jobs they do from home, and they work in separate rooms.

Or both. I don’t know. I’m not really that curious about it.

I haven't seen a competition for AC, so here you go. This is going to start with preliminary rounds of 6 characters each. These will include both villagers and special characters, like Tom Nook or Isabelle. I'll be including old characters who weren't in New Horizons, like Joan and Tortimer.

I think what's interesting about creating for NPCs on Happy Home Paradise is their "secret items." AKA, items that they respond to with a unique emotion.

Some examples include:

Tom Nook: Most of the items he responds to are Halloween, space, and office related. He also positively reacts to art, but only fake art, interestingly enough.

Redd: Like Tom Nook, most of the items he responds to are Halloween, space, and office related.

Blathers: Most of the items he responds to are Halloween, space, music, and office related. He also likes (not real???) fake art.

Sable: Most of the items she responds to are Halloween, space, and technology related. She also reacts positively to (not real) fake art.

Flick: Most of the items he responds to are Halloween, music, and wedding related. The last one is cute, considering how close he is to C.J.

Gulliver: Most of the items he responds to are toy related. He also likes the sloppy set, which almost every NPC seems to love for some odd reason.
