All I wanted was a semi faithful adaptation of the Percy Jackson series, and I really gave this show a chance, but after episode 6, I have to admit that this isn't it. Where was the creepy, mind numbing fun of the casino? Where was the casino that could make even the most powerful demigods forget everything? Where was the trio's interaction with the casino? Why was there so much exposition? What possible reason was there to change it so that the trio MISSES the deadline? Rick Riordan sold this show as a more faithful adaptation to the books and it's not.

I'm...not caught up, but can I ask what is Gloob? none of the posts i've seen have really given me any hints, I'm not sure what it is or (subsequently) what the issue is, but having seen your posts about it I'm both confused and worried.

Gloob is one of the broadcast channels that airs Miraculous episodes, specifically the Portuguese dub.

They have been one of the bigger broadcasters especially in season 4 and occasionally their dub will be the first to air specific episodes. They like to release things asap for clout, attention, for the fans 🙂 because new miraculous releases gives them more ratings than they are used to they are doing this out of the kindness of their hearts 🙃

They basically stir the pot all the time on the fandom by releasing big moments of episodes in their trailers and snipping other broadcasts release dates. Which is whatever I will watch whatever dub comes first and is translated with English subs. But they do not have any regard to episode order - they just want whatever will send over the most amount of traction.

So basically between the French and English dub we have the first 9 episodes of the season aired out. This season has major plot points and episode 9 was a HUGE shake up to the status quo and a two parter is next (episode 10-11). So we are expecting something big happening after 9….

Gloobs is deciding to release episodes 12 & 18 on Monday. This is an enormous jump from where we last saw the characters and it is expected that big changes in character development/dynamics are expected to already have happened by then.

I really do not want to give to much away if you haven’t caught up with the season yet but just know this has to do with the Lovesquare and relationships. I specify things if you like in a separate asks that will contain major spoilers on the answer but only if you want!

But just know we are not happy because this is jumping way too ahead all because a broadcaster needs clout to survive 😪
