GenQ is there anywhere where I can get a summary to, whatever the hell happened with Isle behind the scenes? I only have the basic gist of -specific person is bad- and thats it and I am wildly curious about how on earth they fumbled the plot so bad

honestly i'm a Bit lost on the behind the scenes myself- i'm not too in the know with whoever the team was besides one person, and she's always been my main issue. it comes mostly after what happened in june- allegations against tom- which led to a break. the story they were telling veered off slightly, and instead of allowing the streamers to help the story along naturally, the behind the scenes team started quite literally railroading things so that events happened exactly the way they wanted them to, save for like, a rare case or two where karl wasn't sure what he was doing or jordan found a way around a plot point that they hadn't 100% intended.

there were a lot of plot points that were dropped and lost and a lot of unnecessary things that just kinda got worse and worse (i think they played connect four with a chicken for like, an hour or something) and it was incomprehensible at that point. i was holding out some vague sort of hope, and um. then they dropped the trailer for the olympics which- they'd been hyping it for a little bit, it wasn't an entirely out of nowhere thing. what was out of nowhere was the announcement of a fourth goddess that was never hinted at, never mentioned beforehand even in isles or on twitter, nothing. she also was said to be the goddess of water which went directly against information given early on, and it was just kind of. A Big Fucking Mess. there was a big enough backlash from the tumblr community at the very least that the bts team had to take a step back and go "okay well um actually here's what we'll do" and they made her. the. goddess of flow? i guess? and then there were posts in the discord, i think, about what plot points did fans want to see wrapped up before the finale. (and some of them were not done, and some of them were, but like. not nicely.)

i think their biggest issue is just that they kind of got too big for their britches and started thinking they could get away with anything as long as the fans were boosting them, and like. there were in fact plenty of people boosting them. again i have no idea about a majority of the writing team for isles, my main issue is with krys, who has made harmful stereotypical comments and choices (i made a joke post about all the gods being gay and she commented something like "at least two of them aren't" and later in the discord clarified her thoughts were 'mia was straight, dia was gay, ia was bi' and like. you can see why that's not a Great thought process. she defended it by saying it was her headcanon but she's an official writer and people don't really do "headcanons" with official writers, and usually take whatever they say as law.) she's also just kind of. i don't wanna say obsessive but looking back on the characters she played in season 2 and how some shit went down in isles it was always just kinda :T and she gives off The Worst fucking vibes. and she's just Not A Good Writer lol

so. yeah :) isles had a lot of potential and it went Down The Drain, and i am still not 100% sure why

Summary: where the reader captured by the HYDRA and made her the first subject to test the time travel to the future.

A/N: I was about to request this to other writers but I decided to try to write this on my own. This is like a scenario in my head and I decided, why not try to write it and see if it goes well. Anyways, forgive me for my poor writings. English is not my first language, and I hope you guys like my work! Let's get start and enjoy! ☺️

"Dr, she's not waking up. Should we proceed now?" the woman asked as sweat forming on her forehead. She may not want to continue the operstion but she had no choice.

"Yes. We don't have much time. And the result will be the same even she's asleep or not. In a count of three. One....two... three.."

As the workers starts the machine, the woman can't but to turn around because she can't watch the poor woman who had no idea of what's gonna happen to her. She just silently pray that the operation will worked out. In a matter of seconds, the light around the room vanished and the operation was a success. Everyone cheered and the doctod smiled at his success operation and he immediately ordered everyone to do it again but something's not right. One of the workers walked towards the doctor and he pushed down his fears or he will be dead on the spot.

"What is happening? What's taking so long?" Zola asked as he looked around the workers.

"Doctor, we are doing everything we can but it seems portal won't open. But the first try was a success. Even the woman was gone. We'll try again, sir." the man replied.

Zola pushed the worker and he walks towards the machine and trying to make the portal open again. But to his dismay, it won't open. He tried new codes but nothing happened. The operation that he's been working on was a failure. Now how can he make it work it again? He don't have another to recreate the machine. He was so sure himself that it will work only for a one time. Zola threw the papers he's holding and slump down because of his failed operation. He doesn't know what to do about bringing the woman back. He had many ideas of what to do with the woman. He's going to make her the weapon that can kill the super soldier, but now how can he? The operation was failed. He failed. Now, he need to start a new plan. A new plan to take over the world under the name of HYDRA.

As you look around the place that is unfamiliar to you, nervousness take over your body. You scan the place and the first thing that you notice is the moving picture on the buildings. What on Earth is happening? Where the hell are you right now. You then turn your attention to the people around you. Everyone was doing something. Some of them are just sitting on a stairs? Some are talking so loudly while walking, which is a very unpleasant manners. And others are looking at you with curious expression. You notice also the clothes they wear. Why it looks different from you? Why the women aren't wearing dresses? And their hair? What is happening?

As you continue to look around you. You noticed 3 girls are walking towards you. You can't help but to gulped and ready yourself if they hurt you. When they were inches away from you, she lift something and pointed at you. What is that thing she's holding? Everyone was holding the box thing and it really made you curious.

"Hey, are you okay?" the girl with a short hair asked. You back away a little and the girl immediately got the message that you'ee scared. She took a step and held both of her hands in front of you.

"Hey, it's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you. Do you need help? Are you new here?" she continued. You shook your head as you lower guard down down. You look again on what they're wearing and you're definitely sure you are not from here.

You look at the 3 three girls again and tears starts to escape from your eyes. You want to go home. You want to see Steve and Bucky. Where the hell are you? You look around again and stop at the girl with the short hair as you asked the question that made her looked at you in disbelief.

"Where am I?"

"Sir, there's a unsual happening at the Time Square right now." One of the agents announced and handed the tablet to Fury. He snatched thhe tablet and watch the video that is playing on. His brow knitted together and immediately inform everyone to ready the cars and head towards the Time Square.

"Just for a year. A year to rest. Is it too much to asked?" Fury muttered to himself and entered the car that's waiting for him.

As Fury telling the agent to drive faster, Maria cleared her throat to catch the director's attention, which she luckily did.

"They said that the woman appeared out of nowhere. They tried to make her talk but they got nothing. And based on her clothing–" before Maria can continue, Fury interrupt her and finish the sentence.

"Base on her clothing, she's not from here." Fury finished and studies the woman on the video. How on earth did she get in this time? Who helped her?

"Should I call the Avengers, sir?" Maria started and Fury shook his head. No need for the Avengers. He needs to calm the woman first. And if she do something, that's when he will start calling the Avengers.

"No. We need to make her understand where she is and what year is. One at a time, agent. One at a time. We don't want her freaked out." Fury said and exited the car.

Fury scan the place and there's the woman he's looking for. Before Fury call her out, he first study the woman and he's definitely sure that this woman was somehow connected to Captain Rogers. As well as same age as him. Maria then stood beside him and that's when he spoke, clear enough for the woman to hear him.

"At ease, ma'am." he started. The woman spun around and face the man with a weird looking patch on his eyes and a woman who's dressed weirdly.

"We're not gonna hurt you, ma'am. This is my team and we can help you, if you allow us." The man continue and you still decide not to answer him back. You don't know him. You don't know them. They might hurt you so you kept your mouth shut.

"My name is Nick Fury. And this is Agent Maria Hill. We worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. May we know your name?" the man asked but you ignored what he said. You don't care because you just want to go home. Home with Steve and Bucky. This is not home.

"Where the hell am I?" You suddenly asked, which made the man startled for a second. He then fix himself and gave you his answer.

"New York, ma'am." he simply reply but you shook your head. No, he's lying! This is not home! You glare at the man as tears formed in your eyes.

"No! This is not home! This is not New York! You liar!" you cried. The man is definitely surprised at your outburst. You immediately wrap your arms around yourself to protect yourself from everyone. No, this is not home. He was lying. They were lying. How could they lie to you. You continue to calm yourself and as for the man, Fury walk towards you and crouch in front of you. He looked straight to your eyes and once he finish his sentence, tears streamed down your cheeks. This is not real, you thought.

"We don't know how you ended up here but this is not the year you grew up. This is not 1940's ma'am. It's the 21st century now. You're in year 2011 now, ma'am."

"What?"

"Can we ask what's your name?" the man named Fury asked as he sits in front of you. Your first thought was to ignore him but he's too annoying because he kept talking and talking even you don't understand what the hell he's talking about. You sigh and finally answering him.

"My name is Y/N Y/L/N. Born in June 13, 1917, friends with Steven Grant "Steve" Rogers and James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes. From Brooklyn, New York." you replied and as you look at the man, his eyes widened for a second and look back to you. You blink as his brow knitted together.

"Friends with Rogers and Barnes?" he asked you nod. You lift your left brow as you look at him. Does he know Steve and Bucky? Before you can ask, he excuse himself and walk towards the door. Before he close the door behind him, he glance back at you.

"I'll be back, Miss Y/L/N." he said and proceed to close the door, leaving you in the room full of 'technology', according to Fury. Might as well start familiair yourself with it.

"Maria, call the Avengers right now. I want them asap." Fury ordered and Maria waste no time and rang the Avengers. She don't know what's happening or maybe it's related to the woman named Y/N.

When Fury entered the conference room, the Avengers can't tell if Fury's tensed or what. Fury cleared his throat and began the meeting.

"Avengers, I know this is a surprise but I'll cut the chase. We found someone at the Time Square 3 hours ago. No, before all of you say anything, no. Actually nothing's wrong. Instead, we found a woman who is from 1940s. Witnesses said she just came out from nowhere. They tried to help her but she refuse. Luckily they record it and we were there to help her asap. Right now, she's with us. And I want you Captain Rogers, Barnes, Banner and Stark to come up here and help the fuck out of me. I want you 4 be here asap. Maria will wait for you. Dismissed."

After the video ended, Fury told Maria to wait for the Avengers and direct them immediately to one of the secured room, where Y/N staying. Fury began walking towards the room to join Y/N and tell about the Avengers.

Back in the compound, none of the Avengers move from their seat, especially the two super soldiers. They can't help but to think about what Fury had said to them. Who the hell is he talking about? Back from 1940s? The quietness in the room was deafening and Tony can't help so he stood up from his seat and caught everyone's attention.

"You heard the man. He needs us asap so move your asses people!" Tony exclaimed and exited the room. The others started to walk out too but instead of going in their own room, they walk straight to the quinjet where Tony waiting for the other three. When Tony notice all of the Avengers entered the quinjet, he can't help but to throw a sarcastic comment. Did they not hear what Fury said? Tony can't help but to roll his beautiful eyes.

"Fury said four. FOUR. Me, capsicle, Banner and manchurian candidate. What are you doing here?" Tony asked but they ignore him. Finally, Steve arrives and Nat started the quinjet.

"Hey cap, didn't Fury said only four. Why didn't you stop them?" Tony continued as he glared the rest of the group. Clint and Sam laughed at Tony's tantrum while Banner walk towards Nat to ask if she needs help and to stay away from Tony's tantrum. He's too tired to deal with him. Steve pats Tony's arm and sat beside Bucky.

"Tony, it's alright. They told me they don't have anything to do so I let them join us. Don't worry, I'll tell Fury that it's on me. Okay?" Steve replied and Tony groaned and join Natasha and Bruce flying the quinjet.

Back with Steve and Bucky, both super soldiers still thinking about the woman who's from their time. Who could that be? Is that why Fury call them both? To ask if they know her? Thry tried to think of a possibility of who id the woman but none came up expect for the only girl who left them behind. It was Y/N. They promised her that they will be back but none of them came back. They broke her trust that's why even up to this day. They regretted leaving her behind. They were only her family and they let her down. They just want to turn back the time and apologize to her but they can't since they can't find her and she's gone.

When they finally arrived at S.H.I.E.L.D, Maria stood by and waited for the Avengers to exit the quinjet. She's not surprised that all of them are here. Maria shook hands with Steve and start walking towards Y/N's room. None of them spoke as they walk. They just want to see who is the woman is. And as for Bucky, he didn't want to think of it but he has a hunch of who's the woman is. He wants to say it to Steve but he decides not to. Not until they saw who is she. Finally, they arrived at the roo. Maria told the Avengers to wait and knock on the door. Fury open the door and gesture them to enter. Fury isn't also surprise to see the rest of the Avengers to join them.

Fury cleared his throat and that catches your attention. You spun around and your eyes widened to see that people in the room. But what surprises you is you're actually seeing two familiar faces. H-how? Without noticing, you run towards Steve and Bucky and hugged them tight. Your tears stream down your eyes as you broke the hug from the two. You held Steve face first and studies him. He hasn't change a bit. He still the guy who always fought back when someone tries to pick on him, the guy who always saves you from trouble. They guy you fell in love with even without the serum. He still the Steve Rogers, the kid from brooklyn. And then you turn to Bucky and held his face. A smiled formed in your lips. He also hasn't change. He still got those beautiful grayish blue eyes, that boyish smirk. You're fianlly gald that they were okay after tge war. No days you prayed for their safety. You were glad that they're here now. They both gave you their smile and you can't help but to hug the both again. You just missed so much that no words came out from your mouths. You all can talk later.

"Doll, how did you get here? I mean, who,, wha– how?" Steve asked. Still confused how did you ending up in the 21st century. You glance to Steve and the rest of the Avengers and sigh and told them what happen.

"After you two didn't come back, we won the war. Then days later, I found myself captured by the HYDRA. They were making something, I don't know what is it but I heard they were going to make me the first subject of time travel. I can't do anythinf because I was tied up. I don't know how they know about me but there's this small guy and they call him Zola. They also said that if the operation was a success, they're going to make me someone who's against you. I had no idea what they're talking, Steve. They were so cruel to me. They didn't even let me eat for 3 days straight. Then the next thing I know, I was at that place where the picture was moving. And I met him..." Y/N finished and look to Fury. Steve can't help but to hug Y/N and kissed her head, telling that it's gonan be okay. Bucky and him are there to help her. Bucky and Steve caress Y/N's cheek and gave her a reaasuring smile.

"Doll, we promise that we will take care of you. We know we promise you back then and we broke it but let's us fix that. We don't know if you want to stay with us but we'll try to bring you back. The avengers will help you, doll. All you gotta do is to trust us okay? We can't lose you again. We'll protect you always and you know that right? We love you, Y/N. Till the end of line." Bucky said and you can't help but to smile. Bucky kissed you cheek and you turn to Steve and gave him a longing smile. He ducks his head down and you felt his lips on you. You broke from the kiss and gave the two a loving smile.

"Till the end of line..."

A/N: And that's the end! Whew, for the first time. I finally finished one story! Anyways, thank you so much for reading this even it's not a great story, but still thank you so much! Also, I am very sorry if this story is not that good or anything but I did my best. I don't know if you guys liked it but I wish you guys are.
