nah youre real for that. i saw the who bus thing and ever since aimsey just screams chronically online and performative liberal who has never talked to anyone in the queer community thats older than 30. like aimsey just reeks of the vibe that if you dont fit within a "sanitized" or "easy to understand" identity then they hate you and youre the reason why homophobes hate all queer people 💀
ANON I FUCKING LOVE U UR SO ICONIC FOR THIS

I've gone so far, my hands are high
But I want to touch you
'Cause I know you're lonely
I've seen despair, but I still care
My heart is together
My head is exploding

I'm the anon you replied to about the journalists in Gaza. Of course there are still journalists alive in Gaza, but they are far fewer than they were and obviously it is beyond difficult for any outside journalists to get in Gaza right now, so that is why I find it gross when you call for another journalist to confirm the information. Anyway, I don't know if you care but if you check the notes on the post, you will find an updated reblog clarifying that the information comes from a reporter for Al-Jazeera who is in Gaza right now, he just survived an assassination attempt by Israel that murdered his father. It is real. www.tumblr.com /sayruq/ 736448546334703616
this was posted hours after i asked. you do realise that right? i do not have ability to read into the future to find a post that didn’t exist when i brought up my concerns in the tags.
not only that but you’re saying “the info comes from. reporter for al-jazeera who is in gaza right now”…. did u realise this could’ve been the only thing u say to me on this and i would’ve said ok thank u for that, it seems this news is true, instead of u acting like there’s no journalists in gaza and so we must rely on some random man’s unverified twitter claims (which unlike how u frame it here, is entirely a different person than the gaza journalist working for aljazeera.. so it was an unsourced claim from an unknown man referring to unknown prisoners taken from an actually sourced claim)? u just basically said exactly what i was asking for: news from reputable sources, news from actually known journalists, who actually have their names on their accounts but u felt the need to pretend like ur on a moral high ground first for believing something as long as a guy on twitter wrote it in arabic.. my bad for pointing out that just bc a random tweet says sth doesn’t mean it can be taken as fact. there totally aren’t any actual journalists in gaza or news sites reporting on what’s going on in gaza that we can turn back to. like idk. the exact aljazeera you’re referring to now. if only that existed for us to refer to for claims, instead of random twitter accounts. shame on me!

just your friendly reminder from a film studies major that harassing filmmakers and complaining about “inappropriate and harmful content” in television and films is how we got the hays code, actually

every episode of yellowjackets now feels entertaining but annoying. well acted but terribly written. beautifully shot but horribly paced. complex on accident but unnecessary on purpose. seemingly smart but actually dumb?
