#sam wilson #bucky barnes #tfatws #ao3 #posts that make u go hmm. but in a bad way #also around half of these are m/f fics #meaning half the fics w bucky and not sam in case that wasn't clear #which i know bc i filter out m/f fics automatically and i had to go back and fix the post #which i think can largely be attributed to all the bucky/reader fics #which are the third most popular relationship tag #sam/reader isn't even in the top ten #i find reader fics... fucking weird #but i'm also gay and can't empathize with wanting to date a male character #but regardless i do think this highlights well what ppl talk about wrt how white characters get privileged in fandom spaces #and i don't want to act like i'm immune #i'm white and i know i am a bucky-centric writer #but i think it's important to talk about racism and biases within fandom #and like..... why ppl leave sam out from a fandom that he is at the center of
