i miss having cats like yeah i am extremely allergic to them but. they are the supreme house pet

#my posts #dogs are good and all you want #but once i got biten by one on the face when i was five and ever since theyre kinda terriffying <3 #it was my fault tho i accidentally fell of the bed onto the dog and she thought i was another dog annoying her while she slept #after that she did all she could to make me feel comfortable around her. she was a good girl just a bit mean to other dogs but good #on the other hand i think i know how to handle cats better #like they make more sense #like one of my current dogs growls a lot when he wants to play? makes no sense #took me a while to understand he wanted to play and not that he was angry for no reason diughd #but cats never betrayed me like that. i always understood if they wanted me around or not #but also yeah im really allergic to them #to the point of basically being unnable to sleep bc i couldnt stop sneezing and stuff like that #but still.... #also the last cat i had almost made it to be 21 years old and she was a disastrous baby always #.......... while making this post its hitting me that she died around this time last year its really been that long huh #anyways yeah i miss her and i dont think id have another cat that would let me handle it like a baby in the way she did #and no cat that would decide to never leave me alone not even in the middle of summer when were both suffering from heat #.... im making myself sad the rant is over <3
