Sci ngl i assumed you were a cis gay dude back when i was obsessively reading your spiderpool stuff as a teenager. I’m a gay trans man and your comics always felt like a warm hug, truly my comfort doom scrolling — so it’s kinda nice to find out we’re more similar than id thought

you know, it's kind of funny, i've had an overwhelming response of people who've said they've just assumed i was male by the vibes i radiate and i'm not entirely sure what it means. i'm know you all mean it very reaffirmingly but it leaves me with a lot of questions. like, questions that i want to do further research into.

is there a masculine dialect? like how there are regional dialects? is that a thing? i kind of want to study this now. can you tell someone's gender by the way they talk like you can tell where they're from? that is so cool if it's true. how do you type like a man. what should i look for? i don't know if i've ever assumed someone's gender by the way they type. i just look at their bio and it usually says. and i kind of don't think about it when i type. i type like me. but – i think maybe i pick up the way that i talk from the media i consume (comic books) which is kind of overpoweringly male. overpoweringly populated by male characters, and written by men, y'know.

i think the way i type here on @sciderman is probably softer and more femme than the way i write on the ask-blog. on the blog when i'm answering things as Mod i kind of intentionally mimic the tone-of-voice that marvel editors use. that's an intentional choice. so - when you read what i write here it's closer to my real voice, but over on ask-spiderpool i'm putting on an act. i try to sound like a marvel editor. i call you all True Believers! it's all a persona. i think one of the things that's my strength in writing is falling into voices - i think i could be an excellent ghostwriter, if i needed to be. so very crafty at mimicry.

as a kid i always, always always would mimic the characters i liked from the movies we watched whenever i came out of the cinema. i remember doing that all the time. and it was always boys. (except frenchie from grease. she was my one female gender icon. god everyone hated me for that one. i loved doing the voice. wanted to be her so bad. wanted the pink hair. everything.)

you know,, even now The Very First thing anyone asks me when they meet me is where my accent is from, because nobody believes i'm native to london. it happened today (twice). the way i talk is a little weird. my response,, off the bat,, it's because i watched too many cartoons growing up. so,, i guess maybe i idolised too many masculine role models, and probably didn't have enough female role models. i liked the boy movies better than the girl ones. i spent more time with my dad than i did with my mom. my mom wasn't a good role model. dad says that's probably why i didn't want to be a woman. i didn't have a good role model. (sorry mom). (he's right). all kinds of variables here. i kind of want to do research into it. also i should talk to a therapist.

My absolute favorite DL characters in no particular order:

🌸 YUI KOMORI 🌸

Never understood the hate towards Yui. Again the anime is a promo for the game and it did not do her character justice at all. The prequel and sequels for some of the mangas did her character justice. She’s a very kind and compassionate person, she’s HUMAN and grew up in a church, she’s a soft girl who doesn’t like violence so y’all can only imagine what this girl has to go thru meeting a bunch of bloody thirsty horny vampire boys, who have severe parental issues and a bunch of other abusive behavioral problems, but she is very patient with each and every brother in all the routes and I love that about her, she’d be a really good therapist too lmao. She’s an Angel, must be protected at all times. I won’t tolerate any Yui hate on this blog.

❤️‍🔥 AYATO SAKAMAKI ❤️‍🔥

Poster boy for the entire franchise. A lot of people find him to be annoying, he is annoying and we love his Aries self for that. While Ayato is a menace to society he’s got a good side to him as well and for the most part knows right from wrong, more than some of the fandom gives him credit for. I also really like his character design, he kinda looks like a mean little bat. They give him a lot of cute and playful moments with Yui and I think that’s beautiful especially in a dark themed game series, they have serious moments but also a lot of light hearted moments and I think that’s important to lighten up the mood sometimes.

👨‍🌾 YUMA MUKAMI👨‍🌾

First off, I absolutely love his character design, the messy long hair and he’s a giant too plus they gave him realistic human hair and eyes to show that he used to be human, maybe I’m thinking too deep on it idk. I absolutely love the identity crisis he had due to his amnesia and the connection with Shu, it brought that twin flame connection back, I love those best friend tropes a lot, his voice actor also is Mako from Free! So I have no choice but to Stan Yuma. Yuma also has a lot more self awareness then the rest of his adoptive brothers and thinks ahead due to his past experiences, he knows that he’s a vampire now but still has a garden for food and has sugar cubes with him at all times, he uses his past experiences and acknowledges that it happened then moves forward he doesn’t dwell on it too much.

🔪AZUSA MUKAMI🔪

He’s a lil creepy, and socially awkward at times but he’s just so relatable sometimes. He’s very soft spoken and he a lil wild with his pain tolerance and some of the out of pocket shit that he says, but I think he’s such a sweetheart, protect him at all costs as well, even his brothers know to protect him at all costs.

🎻 SHU SAKAMAKI 🎻

Shu will forever be my favorite DL boy, he doesn’t like doing anything but can do everything and do it perfectly too. He has severe ptsd, depression, and detachment issues. No you can’t fix him even Yui realizes this and just accepts him for who he is because that’s the only way it’ll work. He’s also hilarious without even trying to be, he says some mean shit at times but it’s so unhinged like damn Shu you don’t have the energy to eat, shower, wipe your ass but you got the energy to completely disrespect all your siblings with a few words. Also his beef with Reiji is somewhat familiar grounds especially if you have a sibling that is constantly irritating your soul. I always felt like I could relate to Shu the most due to him having a hard time getting close to people after losing his best friend, he can’t just get over it either, I don’t like when people would say “oh it happened a long time ago” yes it did but everyone heals at their own pace and it’s important to acknowledge that as well.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!

the comic is cancelled. you probably already assumed that since i havent posted anything about it in a while but yeah the things dead now lol. mainly because i dont care much about omori anymore, the comic sucked, and it was too much effort. i feel kinda bad about leaving you guys in the dark for this long tho, so i thought id go ahead and include all the scrapped stuff for the comic that never got finished

while i was writing the comic i started a google doc that laid out ideas i had for future pages. heres that if you wanna know how the story ends

it was written over several months and (most) things are in order of where they go on the timeline not when i wrote them so it might be a little hard to follow

also some art i never posted

(at least i dont think ive posted the last one)

i quoted not liking this comic as one of the reasons i stopped so let me explain that with a list of things id change about this if i were to remake it (which i wont)

remove the swearing that was so stupid

make omori mute (and probably use sign language)

omori does not express fear or stress in-game, thats sunnys job. quit it

he also does not cry and generally shows emotions (even the big ones) in more subtle ways (which i think i was trying to shift towards later in the doc) idk why he was so emotional all the time

literally everything about how i portrayed omori actually that was all just awful

the panic attack scene is fucking embarrassing i have no clue what i was thinking. im so sorry for writing it like that i did 0 research beforehand

make it shorter why did i think that would work out

id probably just make it a fic, comics take way too much outta me compared to just writing things

it does not need a big epic ending and probably shouldve ended not long after they escaped black space

the romance is horrible but thats the foundation of the comic so idek what id do about that

stop making everyone talk like therapists 24/7

and yeah it has a lot of problems but i still do care about this due to the ammount of effort and love ive put into it, i just cant and dont want to continue it

so yeah thats where this story ends ig. i had a lot of fun along the way, and thank you so much for all the support. bigger thanks to that one sunflower discord server (if you came from there you know which one) for being my main motivation and support throughout this journey. sucks this comic never got to see its full potential but im relieved to finally lay it to rest. the blog will stay up for archival purposes but i will not continue the comic any further obviously. the ask box will remain open if you wanna say anything or if you have a question about the story or whatever. thanks for reading.

I'm a neurodivergent artist who talks about gay vampires (wwdits) a lot!

I do have other interests tho like ofmd, good omens, hannibal, re-animator, interview with the vampire, watcher, the band ghost, the world of mr plant, and south park (it's just that wwdits is just what I think about the most)

things I've made:

I've written a few fic before and one can be found on my blog! it's a post season 4 nandermo fic and here's a link if you wanna check it out :)

as for the rest can be found on my ao3 here! (I'm not going to move the post season 4 fic there mainly cause idk if I really wanna)

I made a uquiz a few months ago that basically tells you what you would be if you where in the wwdits universe (a vampire, a familiar. an energy vampire etc)

I have an instagram that I just post my art to and that's really it

things I like to make:

as you can probably gather by now I primarily do pixel art but I also like to doodle/sketch with good old pencil and paper

I make a LOT of kandi (primarily singles) buuut I don't really post it on here (I mean unless someone asks me to I'm more than willing to share)

I kinda write? like I've written fics before and I DO have a bunch of wips but it's kinda hard for me to finish a fic due to the fact that I get distracted easily and the fact that I'm really dyslexic (you have no idea how badly I wanna fist fight the english language in a denny's parking lot at 3am)

oh while it's not a medium or anything but I'd like to mention I LOVE to draw characters from the media I like as pastel bunnies! (tho at this current moment it's primarily wwdits characters I draw) is it weird? yeah but I like to so I'm not stopping anytime soon if you want a rough explanation as to why I made a long post about it

guillermo de la cruz from wwdits (seriously I'm fucking feral for this man he's my top blorbo atm! he has my gender in a chokehold and I relate to him A LOT also harvey guillen is just really fucking hot-)

dib from invader zim (while I haven't watched invader zim in a while I still consider dib to be a fav! hell he's my fucking profile pic. he's one of the first ever characters in something I've seen that I've related to)

argos from twomp (a new addition to my fav character list since I stumbled upon twomp more recently. idk I just like him like go googly eye man date that murderous plant dude! wow that must sound weird to those who don't know what the world of mr plant is XD. it also might have to do with the fact that he's kinda socially awkward)

as I've already said I have dyslexia, I possibly have ADHD (never officially diagnosed buuuuut really fucking confident I do and a past therapist said I most likely do), I keep running into situations where I question if I have autism or not so take that as you will, and despite what it may seem I have really REALLY bad social anxiety (well I have overall anxiety too but let's just say there's a reason I spend a lot of time online and not out and about)

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

The general theme of this post will be: I like him, because he makes one think, and is a complex, well thought out character. And I like exploring his softer side too, especially since we don't see it a lot in canon.

He's one of The Poor Little Meow Meows of this fandom, but I mean that in the positive sense.

You kinda wanna slap him and hug him at the same time /lh (or maybe nip that hairclip off of his braid, comb his hair back with one's fingers and kiss him, as he's looking surprised, a bit appalled, and confused)

Anyways... he's just neat. I'm writing this post from the last point to thee first, so I know what I've written into the following points ^^'

He's someone who deserves retribution, and is trying to own up to his mistakes. And I want to see how the Silva redemption arc plays out

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

The complexity of his character. He's someone who... has had the very best intentions, but had no tools to handle the situation in which he was placed. He has done bad things, but he is a good person.

He just doesn't want to loose anyone else again

8. What’s something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

"Nozel deserves to die for how he treated Noelle!" "He's a shitty human being and he should [get treated in a horrendous way]" (sometimes including get treated horribly by Noelle) "He should think that Noelle died, so that he'd REALLY FEEL AWFUL"

Basically... just completely ignore the nuances of the story and write Nozel off as someone who is unworthy of redemption. There is a reason why I have a "Nozel protection squad" tag on my blog. As in, no one is saying that Nozel has done the right thing, because... he hasn't!? And his intention doesn't justify the means, but there is so much more to the story than just a shitty older brother.

He did bad things, but he isn't a bad person. And this is actually a rather complicated theme for a show that's aimed at teens/young adults (which is also why I suppose I shouldn't be surprised to see this phenomenon). But I'd wish that it'd make people think. To see different aspects of the story.

Tabs has written the Silvas very well, and to brush off so much of the narrative is just... I don't like it.

15. What’s your favorite ship for this character? (Doesn’t matter if it’s canon or not.)

Hm, hm... I mean, prefer my mutuals' OC ships with him over any other (including my own oc ship, which I created 'cause I thought Nozel needs cuddles). Because they hit that right spot for me, but if we talk about canon characters (the ship being non-canon ones still because... they just are, there's no proved canon ship for him), I guess I like... Nozessa the best.

Dorothy is more of a good friend to Nozel (or a therapist, of a kind) than a companion/spouse, and I think that the relationship (in the word's extended meaning) is important just as it is. So, out of the options, I'd say Nozel x Vanessa to be my favourite between canon characters. (As said, I, personally, like oc pairings for him the most)

18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?

I really love the mother-son relationship he had with Acier (but also the angst that comes/came with it, and I applaud Tabs for the decisions he made). Acier really was the best mom, and she was raising a little gentleman, who since then wanted to protect his siblings, since he couldn't protect his mom.

Poor boy...

But I really, really like the mother-son relationship between Nozel and Acier from the little things we've seen

20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn’t matter?

I really do think that he's best friends with Fuegoleon. So their friendship parallels (in a way) that of Asta and Yuno. And I think that they really could connect in such a wonderful manner if Nozel just let down his guard a little bit. By which I mean: talk! Really talk. Discuss. About things that aren't work related.

They're of similar age. Come from similar places in the society, so they have a lot of understanding for each other's struggles. They have similar job descriptions. There's so many similarities in their lives that they could really lend an ear to one and another.

1. How many works do you have on ao3?

2. What’s your total ao3 word count?

520,484 - 27% of that is one fic looool

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Right now just HxH and SW:Fallen Order series. Sherlock and Star Trek AOS were big ones too

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

Closing the Space (Between Us) - again its 27% of my wordcount! It deserves it! the Hunter x Hunter Killugon Reunion fic of my dreams. I am SO PROUD of this one I have handed it to irl friends! On purpose! My partner got me a physical copy for Xmas 2021!

2. Crying Over Yuuri - a Kyou Kara Maou! fic, which is a fandom I am amazed is still being read. It's a Wolfram POV fic where he, you got it, cries over Yuuri. Pretty fluffy ending. I credit the numbers to the fact that not a lot of fic gets written for KKM anymore so it doesn't disappear under all the new stuff

3. Not Unusual - A ST:AO3 Academy Era McKirk. Bones gets a bunch of clues to something going on with Jim... he gets it a little wrong, Jim freaks out because this man has Issues, but it resolves in the end. I wrote this one as a pinch-hit for an exchange back when I was still RPing Jim Kirk @thewinningscenario

4. 5+1: Are They Or Aren't They? - Somehow my Mystrade (Sherlock BBC) still gets hits with fair regularity and I'll never understand why. It's definitely not my best work but it's cute! 5 times people weren't sure if Mycroft and Lestrade are dating, and the time they know (because they receive a wedding invitation!!)

5. One Flew East, One Flew West - a Killugon Modern AU in which Killua and Gon meet at a Psychiatric Recovery Center, with Kurapika as another patient and Leorio as a therapist. written for HxHBB2020. I'm very fond of this one. It makes me cry <3 I'm so happy there's so much fandom diversity in these! (The next 11 are all either HxH or Sherlock, l o l )

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I wish I could say I did! I mean to! Sometimes I am not in a good place so I mean to do it later and then I forget..... whoof. I am so thankful for each and every review, and I want to repay that!

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I wrote a LOT of fics in my teens where people died (not all of them are on A03, it didn't exist at the time. I'm not giving you my ff.net ;) ) Surely, one of them! More recently, I wrote a Dragon Age: Inquisition Lavellan/Dorian in response to Dorian preemptively breaking up with me (rude!) that is Pretty Hecking Angsty. It's tagged "hurt no comfort"

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Closing the Space (Between Us) did so much work to get where it was, and they ended up with Everything! My boys <3 (And Alluka)

8. Do you get hate on fic?

Very rarely! I'm pretty lucky in life that I don't get hate generally. Maybe it's because I'm not Out There enough but- who cares! People are nice and sweet and lovely mostly, and I love writing fanfic for/with them :3

9. Do you write smut?

Sometimes it will appear in other fics. I don't really do PWPs, and smut itself is pretty rare because I don't include it unless it's... necessary? Kinda? Like if the story demands it. I personally only read smut in certain moods, so when smut's included I make it easy to skip, but it certainly exists

10. Do you write crossovers?

It depends! In my Sherlock days I had a Sherlock/Stargate Atlantis crossover series and a Sherlock in the HP universe series, but I haven't done any recently.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of! I heard people copy fics over to Wattpad sometimes but I've never looked. I'm not usually in MegaFandoms anyway, so I don't think I'm in any real danger.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

YES!! A few different Sherlock ones! (I guess I was pretty well known in the Mystrade sphere?? IDK that was back on livejournal. Anyone else miss KinkMemes?) I think one got translated to Russian and one to Chinese. Both reached out to me and asked for permission first, which I of course granted! It's very flattering <3

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Way way way back in my teen years I cowrote a few times- one in YuGiOh and one in Fruits Basket with a high school friend. Recently I am technically cowriting a fic with @spyscrapper atm- I say technically because its really an rp l o l (Star Wars: Jedi Survivor Canon Divergent Spyscrapper, it's pretty hecking cool! And painful! :D ) I once cowrote a fic where the other author just like. eliminated my plotline. so. It's not always good, but it's still fun to try!

14. What’s your all-time favourite ship?

I refuse to pick One. Killugon (HxH), McShep (Stargate Atlantis), Seishirou/Subaru (Tokyo Babylon & X/1999) and any combination of McSpirk (Star Trek) have probably had the most long-lasting impact on me. And

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but probably won’t?

I often feel like I should finish Pulling The Trigger because it's an interesting casefic and I like the thought of a mystery, but... it's 12 years old at this point, so...

16. What are your writing strengths?

Nature-themed metaphors and descriptions! And I feel like I have pretty strong character points of view! Oh, and angst. I'm good at angst. >:)

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Planning 🙃 oops what's that. And I use adverbs too much! (but it's fun so I'll keep doing it)

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

It depends why! If a fic is from the POV of Character A and Character B is talking in a language they don't understand, for example, it's fine to use it (though please provide a translation for your reader!) The language switch has to be for a specific reason, and if the character understands it the reader should too. (In One Flew, Gon and Killua sometimes swap to Japanese to disguise their conversations from everyone else- I show that by changing their conversation to italics in most cases.) I definitely wrote a fic as a teen that had all Japanese because I was a weeb and... lol don't do that.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Yugioh, 2001!! It was probably two paragraphs long hahaha

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

Closing the Space (Between Us) for sure! God it's so good. I am begging people to read it. If you're going to read One Thing I have written in my entire life-so-far, please let it be that!!

A New Start - Part 1 (The Boy Nanny!OC)

2107 words. Warnings: just Brahms being a little bit of a creep at the end, but it comes without saying.

It had been six months since Maeve had moved back to Manchester. She took life easy and in baby steps. Taking one day at a time.

Her shy and reserved nature made it hard for her to make many friends in the city, but she did make friends online. Percy Jones, Ellie Manson, Merry Ross and Alia Fowl. Maeve had met Ellie from her travel blog, then Percy appeared in the background during one of their video call art sessions. Merry and Alia were fellow readers of Ellie's blog, and friends of Ellie as well! It was quite a nice group she had, and she loved them dearly, despite the big distance between them.

Percy had mentioned her pen pal, Blair. She seemed like a really cool person, but unfortunately she had no access to an internet connection. Percy had given her Blair's mailing address, maybe she would send her a letter once she got to her own new address herself.

Speaking of which, while the life insurance money was nowhere near running out, Maeve felt like she would go insane if she didn't do something with herself other than lie around all day and wait for the next session with her therapist, or the next time her friends texted her. So she started hunting for a job.

First, she thought of teaching music at a local school, but had no luck. She was about to consider giving private piano lessons, until a certain job application fell on her lap.

She had been hired as a tutor and caretaker for the Heelshire's son, Brahms. His parents had been looking for somebody who would be able to care for the boy while they were away, while also maintaining his homeschooling.

It was perfect! Maeve was still scared of being around too many people, so the idea of caring for a single child was a lot more welcoming than giving a class to a full room of kids. She would have to move to the Heelshire Manor for the job, and since she had been renting, she had no problem in bringing her belongings with her. There wasn't much left since the fire…

Twas the night before she was being picked up by the private driver, and she was excited, but also anxious beyond relief. She paced back and forth in front of her laptop while speaking out loud, she was on a video call with Ellie, Percy by her side, and Merry.

"What if the kid doesn't like me? What if he cries, and I don't know how to calm him down? Am I supposed to call his parents back from vacation? OH GOD, WHAT IF HE IS A BRAT AND I LOSE MY TEMPER?!"

Merry held her own forehead as she sighed at her exasperated friend. Percy gave a small chuckle.

"You'll be fine, girlie! You'll see" she said, Merry humming in agreement.

"I'm sure the kid will be fine! It’s you, who I'm kinda worried about, Mae. Are you sure you want to do this?" Ellie chimed in.

Maeve finally sat down in front of her laptop and let out a strong deep breath before answering, "Of course, I need this. I need to have more responsibilities, and you know I always wanted to be a mum, so this will be good practice for that!"

"Alright, just keep us all posted, okay? You are going into the middle of nowhere, please don't disappear on us!" Merry said, "If we don't hear from you within a week, I'm sending Jason out to get you!" she declared, half joking.

"I'll keep in touch, I promise" Maeve said, raising a hand, the other one over her heart, "It's getting late for me. I'll try to go to sleep now, and I'll text you all in the group chat once I arrive at the manor"

"Have a good night, Mae!" Ellie said, Percy joining in while waving at the screen, "Night, Mae! Don't forget to keep us posted!" she said, pointing at the camera. "Try to rest, okay hun? Sweet dreams!" Merry said, waving at Maeve.

Maeve waved at her friends, "Goodnight, me lassies! Ellie, send my regards to Vinny! I hope to see more of his work soon. Percy, make sure Bo doesn't torture his twin too bad. And Merry, say hi to Jason for me! Oh, and tell Alia and Mikey I said hi as well!"

After they all said their goodbyes, Maeve closed her laptop with yet another heavy sigh.

She wasn't able to sleep all night.

The vintage car had arrived in the early morning, and once all her things were ready, she got in the backseat and braced herself for the long ride. Once the initial nerves had died out, she fell asleep, only to be rudely woken up by the driver, who aggressively tapped on the window she was leaning against.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know how else to wake you, miss"

Maeve rubbed her eyes to get rid of the grogginess before stepping out of the vehicle, it had been a very long ride, apparently, since it was already dark outside.

She was previously informed that her trip was paid for in advance, and that the driver would take care of her luggage.

It was a rather cold night, the tip of her nose going red with the chill, and both her and the driver's breath made visible under the dim lighting at the front door, so Maeve rushed indoors and left the door open as courtesy for the driver, who was getting her stuff in the house.

She gazed at the tall ceilings, marveling at the masterfully carved wood on the walls, as well as the beautiful staircase.

"Hello? Is anybody around?" she called out. No answer though.

She wandered around the first floor of the manor, reaching a room full of books, an old record player, and a small piano. She reached for the instrument out of instinct and played a few notes to try out the sound. It sounded a bit like a toy piano rather than the ones she used to play at Uni, I'm glad I have my keyboard with me, she thought to herself.

She turned to exit the room when she heard some footsteps nearby, she walked back to the foyer, expecting to find somebody, only for it to be empty. That's strange, she could've sworn she heard footsteps…

She brushed it off and focused on admiring the paintings on the walls, they were full of beautiful art, and one of them stood out to her.

A family portrait, a picture of Mr. and Mrs. Heelshire, and a small child, whom she assumed to be the one she would be taking care of. She mindlessly reached out to the painting, to touch the boy's face, until she was interrupted by somebody clearing their throat behind her.

She jumped at the sound, and turned around quickly, to see an old lady patiently waiting for her to respond.

"Ah, my apologies, I suppose you are Mrs. Heelshire?" Maeve said, tucking some of her hair behind her left ear, the redness of burn scars on it suddenly visible, unbeknownst to her, "I'm Maeve Sweeney, it is a pleasure to meet you" she said, with a small bow to her head.

The lady noticed the scars, but quickly looked at the young woman's eyes before speaking "Yes, dear. It is a pleasure to meet you, as well." she paused for a second, "I'm afraid little Brahms has been put to bed already, you'll meet him tomorrow. Follow me, now. That was a long trip you had, I'm sure you must be hungry"

Maeve smiled and bowed her head again, "Famished, actually", to which Mrs. Heelshire responded with a hum, before turning and starting to walk towards the kitchen, with Maeve following close.

A kind-faced old man was sat at the small kitchen table, patiently waiting as the two ladies entered the room. There was a plate with chicken roast and mashed potatoes with gravy, along with a glass of wine and silverware set on the opposite seat at the table.

"Daddy, this is Maeve" Mrs. Heelshire said. The old man stood up, "It's so nice to finally meet you in person, young lady, I'm Mr. Heelshire. It was a shame that you couldn't join us for dinner, but we saved a plate just for you, as per Brahms' request"

Maeve sat in front of the plate, a polite and calm demeanor to her, "Well, the little lad is truly a gentleman. I'll make sure to thank him tomorrow when I meet him. May I?" she asked, to which Mr. Heelshire motioned with his hand and nodded.

The old pair sat across from her at the table as she began eating her late dinner. The food was delicious, and the wine decadent.

"We don't waste any food in this house, all of the leftovers are placed in containers into the freezer behind you" Mrs. Heelshire said, which prompted Maeve to turn her head to look, revealing the bright red scars on the back of her neck.

As she turned her head back to the couple, she noticed a faint apologetic look in Mrs. Heelshire's eyes, as well as a sad, worried look on Mr. Heelshire's. They continued to explain her duties as she continued eating. Once she was finished, she bowed her head once again and thanked the couple for the meal, before standing and moving to wash her own dishes.

Brahms' parents were pleased at the young lady's manners, "Miss Sweeney, you are to expect some help with the house chores every week. On Sundays, the gardener will show, on Mondays, the delivery man will come with groceries for you, along with your weekly pay, and on Tuesdays, a cleaning maid. This house is so big, after all. It would be rather unkind of us to expect you to care for the entirety of the estate by yourself." Mr. Heelshire said, to which the missus added, "We also arranged a monthly nurse to come and draw blood from you, for your blood tests, as you requested. Your medication will be delivered with the groceries"

Maeve had thanked all the creatures above and below for the acting classes she took at Uni, she was afraid the old fashioned couple wouldn't give her the job if they knew she was trans, but she still needed her estrogen pills. So she informed them that she had a rare disorder that caused her body to not produce enough estrogen on its own. Hence why she needed the pills, and monthly blood work done, to keep track of how her body reacted to the medication.

"Thank you, Madam, Sir." she said, regarding the pair, "You are all too generous"

After it was all said and done, Mr. Heelshire excused himself to the drinking room, while Mrs. Heelshire escorted Maeve to her new room.

"Please, keep quiet, that's little Brahmsy's room, right there" she said, pointing at the door across the hallway. Maeve nodded and followed Mrs. Heelshire into her own bedroom.

The interior of the room was just as elegant and beautiful as the rest of the manor. A king sized bed, dressed in silk and linen sheets, along with knitted wool duvets and covers, sat in the room. Maeve could feel herself getting drowsy again, just by looking at it.

"Please, Miss Sweeney, make yourself at home. And make sure to rest, we will expect you to be up and ready at 7 am, tomorrow" Mrs. Heelshire said, standing still at the door.

"Of course, Madam. Thank you." Maeve said, with another small bow of her head, to which the old lady smiled and left, closing the door behind her.

Maeve left her phone on the bedside table and went to the on-suite bathroom to take a quick hot shower, then exited, wearing her antique nightgown. She crawled into the soft bed and relaxed, grabbing her phone again to finally give her girlfriends an update.

There wasn't a signal out in the country, but there was a single wifi connection titled "Heelshire Manor", it had no password.

She connected her phone and sent a message in the group chat they all shared, "Hello! I'm finally at the manor, you should all see this place, it looks like out of a fairytale book! I haven't met the boy yet, but his parents are lovely. I'll send more updates tomorrow! Good night 💕". Sent.

She drifted off to a deep sleep almost immediately after, never noticing the aforementioned "boy"s presence, looking down at her peaceful sleeping form.

as I hope everyone knows by now, there's no such thing as TMI when we're doing sex witch stuff!

right off the bat, I'm concerned about the lack of clarity over that condom. especially since you were having anal sex, where condoms are super important because they can drastically reduce the risk of friction tearing the sensitive tissue of your anal cavity. you really REALLY want to avoid that, because unlike tiny abrasions in the vagina (a helpfully self-cleaning environment!), anal tears are at high risk of tearing further from the strain of bowel movements and being infected by fecal matter. condoms and lube both help reduce that risk!

as for the present health risk, I'd say it's pretty negligible. getting feces on your dick isn't fun, but it's also not particularly dangerous so long as everything got washed off promptly. greater concerns about a penis (or a hand, or a dildo) and fecal matter arise when someone tries to go from anal penetration to putting that same penetrative tool somewhere else, like a mouth or vagina, without washing or switching condoms. the biggest concern is the transfer of bacteria to other orifices, which is sounds like you avoided. well done!

as for the last part - listen, I appreciate you acknowledging that I'm not a therapist, because god knows a lot of people seem to forget, but I don't need to be a therapist to tell you that you're not disgusting and have nothing to be embarrassed about. sex is messy and imperfect and even gross sometimes; that's something that everyone who wants to have sex needs to accept. bodies aren't perfectly controlled machines and sometimes they'll do unexpected things that we don't like. that includes weird smells, noises, and bodily fluids. that's the price of admission, especially when you're engaging in anal. if your partner is going to be weird about it that's a problem on him, not you.

tell him how you're feeling and how his behavior has hurt your feelings; see if this is something the two of you can resolve by talking it through. if it's not - oop, no more anal sex for him! possibly no more relationship; feel free to throw the whole man away if he reveals himself to be a bad person to have in your corner during a sexual mishap. you deserve someone who can roll with the unexpected and support your feelings through it.

if you're interested in pursuing anal further in the future, I'd recommend planning ahead with condoms for cleanliness and putting down towels/using sheets you don't love, just in case. you may also be interested in this video from the incomparable Lindsey Doe offering some advice on preparing for anal sex, including learning how to track your bowel movements to help figure out when you're least likely to have an unexpected bowel movement.

i’m laughing out loud at the part that says i don’t offer advice like Yeah i’m just here to fester and seethe 😭 i think to some degree there was also a culture of one upping each other to see who could be crazier/more delusional/nastier in the name of defending dream which you know made people Act Crazy including me but also in just like that but anyway i think that culture probably got exasperated once the idea of dtblr 2.0 was spoken into existence 🤔 i feel for your relationship w ur dream stan friends i think compartmentalizing is honestly your best answer tbh it’s the only way i can answer asks about him without calling him every nasty thing i can think of and even then 😭😭

What happened is irrelevant, it just made me come on here- and I apologize in advance because this will be kinda long

I'm honestly so tired of people defending bakugou's (no capital B for you mf) actions, comparing it to their own and making it sound as though it's okay (baby you make yourself look even worse) and making absurd theories about his reasons for bullying Izuku that I didn't even know existed until I came across this blog and as a former bully (who deeply regrets it and hates bullying of any sort) I'm here to give my two cents. Forgive me if it's horribly structured and/or incoherent because I'm exhausted as well. I'll also be comparing him to me, and while I know everyone's different, this is mostly just to show what could have happened

To the people who say bakugou's changed for the better, you're entitled to your opinion so here's mine- no he hasn't. He really hasn't. He hasn't even tried. If I could half ass an effort with half an ass of half an ass it wouldn't come near the fraction of an assed effort he's made, if he's made any at all. He's just a bit mellower if you can even call it that, and he's been told he's a bitch with a garbage personality. Nobody told me that, I saw what I was because I met people that set a better example for me- I compared their behaviour to my own and got over myself. I realised what I was doing to the people I loved- if it could even be called love- and I consciously mended my behaviour, for months, because I had to. My vocabulary changed, my body language changed, the way I spoke changed, my tone changed, my texting style changed, my perspective changed and (most importantly) my reactions changed. And I'm honestly much happier now. I'm terrified of relapses even though it was years ago. I'm a pretty sunshiny person tbh, I shit glitter and everything, I'm your free therapist but yeah, that was me and I hate it. And if I'd been told my personality was garbage the way bakugou has been, I'd have taken at least a moment to reflect.

After I decided to mend myself, I'd recoil whenever I did something harsh, or said something harsh, no matter how lighthearted. Seeing my friends turn nervous or prepare themselves for an argument broke my heart because I caused it. I apologised multiple times, with long paragraphs, because I wanted to let them know in any way I could that I really am trying and I really did love them.

And you know what? At first it was so tempting to relapse when things got hard. I knew what to do to manipulate them. I knew what to do to scare them. I know how to do it all and I loathe myself for not being a person of comfort.

At first it was tempting, because it was so much easier. It would have been so lazy to do it. bakugou is so, so lazy for not even trying. I felt as though I could control anything. I thought I could always keep them the way I wanted. The amount of control you can have over people frankly gets to your head- and for the people who argue that Bakugou was abused, I've been abused and bullied as well and it is not. An. Excuse.

For the people who like to think he did it to protect Izuku- please. Please. Even you can't think that's true. You're entitled to what you think, but for me and the bullies I know that was never the reason. A friend once told me he was mean to me to rein in my behaviour because I'd just get bullied again, that he was doing it to protect me and I laughed in his face because both of us know that both of us know it's not true.

bakugou liked the kick he got out of feeling superior, smarter, faster, more influential, more confident and that was it. bakugou enjoyed it because it was easy. It was easy to not feel like crap when all he had to do was bully some kid to assure himself and that was it. He's lazy.

And honestly- being a nice person is a discipline. *That* is not easy. Izuki is amazing for what he does. It's hard for me to know what to say. It's hard for me to manage my time to I have enough to help others. It's hard for me to see others in pain. I've caused so much suffering and suffered so much I can't stand to say any more of it. It sucks because my empathy causes troubles for me- but I'd rather deal with that than being an asshole

And change is entirely possible y'know? I mean yeah, if Izuku wants bakugou out of his life he should absolutely cut him off, but if he wishes to allow bakugou to remain with him he absolutely can. And bakugou (I'm getting tired of spelling his name out, I feel very petty sjsjsjs) can change so much more than this. I went from being a bkg to being the complete opposite and it didn't take as long as you'd think tbh. It's just that bkg does not regret his actions enough, if he regrets them at all. I've cried and tried and come out a very different person and it's frustrating to see someone so stagnant- and worse, so loved.

I have a massive migraine so I can't go on much further, my apologies :'). I also won't proofread this and I have a lot more to say, but I can't recollect it all. It's just so goddamn frustrating to see this guy pop up onscreen eVERYWHERE. He is so loved, Hori spoils him djsjjs

I just want to watch the anime for the sassy blond, not the blond bully sheesh 😩

100% agree on all of this. Also, it may not mean much coming from a faceless stranger, but I’m proud of you for your growth 😊. I’m glad you’ve taken the time to really reflect on yourself and your relationships. I hope you continue down this path because great things will happen to you.
