You know how long I've been fighting this? I guess background on Hyeseong (Newman).

They are a magnetic, fun loving being, who realized that solidarity would not equate survival on Earth. They adapted to their surrounding by mimicing and studying the actions and expressions of humans, earning their own social clique, which who and anyone who meets them would "die for them".

Although as an interdimensional being they were meant to be alone, they had managed to use the aid of those immune to their heat in a sort of mutual relationship to lure others to their demise. Taking this, they understand that on Earth, the people are important and relationships are something to be genuinly made and as something that was without it, they don't mind doing so. They even take joy in being able to hold another without them crystallizing or disintergrating from being within their proximity.

They wear bright colours to mimic their former interdimensional body and takes the whole being stuck in the human body as an unrequested vacation. They genuinly enjoy the food and fun that humans have created but of course gets frustrated when they become too overwhelming, even using tricks to get the worst of enemies on their side just to get rid of them.

As a response they earned the names starlight or sunshine to mimic their almost divine nature. They aren't in a rush to leave since this is temporary so why not enjoy it.

They are quick to action and often get into trouble but that hardly faces a problem for them as they know their limits. They are determined in fixing their mistakes as they learned that things left to fester will lead to their eventual downfall so they nip whatever problems they can at the bud, even if it may seem uncharacteristically harsh.

Yes they are rash and may sway to whatever is more fun but they know when they need to be serious, even if it means putting an end to things.

Sometimes the façade of the energetic charismatic star falters but that rarely happens unless, once again, the situation requires them to show their observant and quick thinking nature that had allowed them to survive the eternal feast.

If there is one things that they fear, it's that all their hard work to build themself up on Earth would have been for nothing. A star afraid to fall, ironic considering the name they chose for themself.

“Well, you will when they come lookin’ for you,” Kumatora says softly with a smile, patting the blond’s shoulder with sympathy. “Gotta admit, they’re clever. Bastards. Still, the fact they’ve made it here is... Sigh, just when we finally were done with the mess from Porky.”

Lucas hummed, worry in his features as he walked alongside his two friends. “I guess the rumours about the two dragon cults are correct... This isn’t good. If they know... About...”

“Which they won’t,” Duster frowned. “Because they’ll get hell if they tried anything. Besides, they’d need the Light Dragon too, right?”

“Yeah. That is, if anyone has summoned them. Might just be Luke who has the power of the dragon.”

Listening to his friend talk, he started to fidget with his hands, looking downwards. It’s not long before dread creeps up on him, making him realising what this meant if they should ever get their hands on the Dark Dragon’s power. Problem was that they’d have to pry it from him, with death being one the easier ways of doing it.

Well, if they were going to do that. Though, wouldn’t the needles return? Gods, this was such a mess. All that trouble to find the needles, just to possibly have them return? What would happen if he did kick the bucket? How would his friends cope? His family manage? The world along with its--

“Hey, you’re wonderin’ off again. Looks like we gotta guide you,” Kumatora reaches over to gently pull Lucas back towards them, who is startled. “Come on, dork, let’s go find somewhere to sit. Think we all need to talk about what happened.”

I've decided to go with a Monster Mash Halloween writing theme this year, for my WH Halloween inspired oneshots. And yes I'm starting now cuz I'm such a slow writer and it takes me THAT long. 😭

Each piece can be any genre, such as romance, horror (attempt at horror), and so on. But each story will need to have a monster in it: vampires, wolf man, zombies, etc.

And since I'm barely getting started I thought it would be fun to open this up for any kind of request? Whether it's for a specific character, monster, or a combination of both.

So far I have an idea for a vampire one, that doesn't involve Donald. (Shocker right )

And a possible Frankenstein one? Maybe? If I can pull it off??

Anyway, suggestions are greatly appreciated, but please be mindful if I decide I'm unable to fufill request for whatever the reason.

Oh Dolly, it's getting worse again, and I feel the intense need to blog it out:

Two of my coworkers are thinking of leaving, and while I do want to sound supportive of their resignations, I can't help feel Bucketloads of Anxiety for the work they'll be leaving behind. (For context, there are three of us in the Creatives Team, and so many events are happening in the second half of the year. Once they leave, I'll be piled up with all their responsibilities.)

I feel extremely unmotivated to do this article writing gig my friend recommended to me sometime back in December. On most days I just want to relax and enjoy my own time outside of work, but I also find myself in need of money to accommodate my expenses. I've been doing poorly at keeping consistency and only managed to churn out a total of three articles for the past six months, and I'm not usually like this. I tend to do a great job at the gigs I get.

Lately my head has been hurting. Given the current climate has fluctuated so badly these past few days, I recently checked my blood pressure which is above normal so I'm told, and I'm pretty sure it's from my sedentary lifestyle. I want to work out but I find myself using that time in the morning to rest in. I suspect hypertension, but I don't want to get it this early. Thinking of doing something doesn't translate to doing.

Referencing to Bullet One, I wanna quit my job too, but I haven't made the 1 year mark yet. I don't think I can afford leaving so early too because I've got one ongoing event and one upcoming event in its planning stages that I can't just up and leave them hanging. I have plans of pursuing art and education-related jobs that will let me have my own time, hopefully.

#i'm afraid to say this but i'm sacrificing a few of the things i've been doing for the past year in fandoms #i need to recalibrate a few bits and bobs of my life not necessarily chaotic #but it's getting there #still gonna make art wherever i can #write here and there maybe #but until these priorities in life get settled i'm gonna leave #i'm depressed at the state my life is in right now as with the work i'm doing and my overall performance everywhere #not just as an artist even but as a human #i met up with some friends i haven't seen since the pandemic and it just made me deeply sad when i had alone time #there's great money in the work i'm doing now but it comes at the price of not only my mental health but in my physical health as well #i have to spend less money too. save the fuck up corny #personal #i just... can't cry it out yet because i'm so tired #and possibly not hydrated enough? #perhaps #past years * but I've been severely hyperfixated last year so...
