getting undressed in front of each other/sleeping in the same bed for the first time with jamie x reader?? I feel like those prompts go well together or you can just do one or the other 馃グ
Hey babes, I sat on this one for a HOT SEC cause I needed it to be perfect for you! Hope you enjoy.
It had been a really long night. Sure it was fun to go out with the boys and celebrate a good win, but boy did it drain you. This time, you found yourself dancing a little too closerly to Jamie. Everyone knew you had a thing for him. Well, everyone except for him, apparently. But that was how you ended up walking home, a little more than tipsy with Jamie's arm wrapped around your waist, keeping you steady.
You were struggling to walk straight, leaning more on Jamie than not, but you were blaming the alcohol for that.
"You alright?" Jamie soothed, catching you after a particularlly hard stumble.
"Yup! I am perfectly fine!" You replied, a little more loudly than you meant to. "I have Jamie Tartt walking me home!" Jamie chuckled, tucking you back into his side. "Do you know how many people would love to have Jamie Tartt walking them home?"
"Mm, tell me, love," he hummed, his eyes sparkling in amusement.
"Like... so many, Jamie... sooo many," you told him seriously. "But I got you!" You booped his nose, giggling. "I got you."
Jamie smiled down at you. You were so adorable when you were drunk. You were adorable all of the time. How Isaac had managed to convince you to come out tonight he'll never know but he'd have to thank him later. Everyone knew he had a thing for you. Well, everyone except for you, apparently.
The walk wasn't far but it took longer as you put your whole weight on Jamie. But, eventually, you made it to your front door and inside. Jamie helped you up the stairs into your room.
"Okay, now sit here, don't move," He instructed, sitting you down on the bed. "I'm gonna get you some water."
He left you for two seconds - TWO SECONDS - when he heard you calling out Jamiiiieeee pitifully from your room. He came back to see you tangled up in your clothes as you attempted to take off your dress.
"Oh, for fuckssake," Jamie muttered, setting down the water and coming over to help you. "How did you even do this to yourself?" He started tugging on your dress to bring it over your head but you inadvertedly were struggling against him. "Stop, just stop!" He found himself struggling to talk through his laughter.
"Jamie, this isn't funny!" you whined.
"Love, you need to see yourself, cause it's fucking hilarious," Jamie retorted, finally straightening out your dress. "There."
He tugged you dress off over your head, freeing you from your prison. You fell back as the dress came off over your head, falling limply against the bed, giggling like a school child.
Jamie looked over you - a giggling, drunk mess - and found himself a blushing furiously. He didn't mean to but his eyes washed over your body, every curve and roll of your skin. His eyes eventually made their way back to yours. Your eyes were dark now as you sat up, grabbing onto his arms and pulling him towards you.
"Jamie..." You bit your lip and looked at him through your eyelashes. "Jamie, I want you to touch me." You pulled his hands to rest on your waist.
"Oh, no, no, no," He shushed, pulling his arms away from you.
You suddenly felt very sober and very aware of the fact that you were sitting, very intoxicated, and very naked on your bed in front of a very sober, very clothed Jamie Tartt. You wrapped your arms around your body to try and preserve some dignity you had.
"Oh, shit," you cursed, closing your eyes. "Sorry, I'm so sorry."
"No! Fuck, that's not-"
"No, it's okay, Jamie! I'm just-this was-I'm just sorry." You stood, rushing over to find a shirt to throw on.
"(Y/N), stop!" He grabbed you and pulled you back towards him. You refused to look at him, your cheeks burning with embarassment at the situation. "Jus..."
Jamie sighed, trying to think of how to fix this situation. Now, what he did next, he blamed on the one beer he'd had earlier in the night. But the one thing he could think of to make you feel better was strip.
He started by pulling his shirt over his head, then stepping back and unbuckling his belt. In any other situation, you would've been jumping for joy at this moment. But right now, you were too confused by what was going on to do anything but stare. Now you were both just as naked.
"Why... why did you do that?" you asked when you managed to find your voice again.
Jamie blew a long breath out of his mouth. "Honestly... it made more sense in my head."
You both laughed, letting some of the tension seep out of the room. But you closed your eyes again, still feeling some residual embarassment.
"Look, I'm sorry, Jamie, you can go... I don't-I didn't mean what I said."
"Well, I really hope you did." You opened your eyes again and Jamie was standing right in front of you. He brought up a hand and delicately moved a piece of hair out of your face.
"I wanna to touch you, (Y/N)," he admitted, letting his fingers trace across your cheek. "I wanna to make you feel good." You leaned your head into his hand. "But I can't... not like this." He stilled his fingers, holding you delicatly in his hand.
You nodded, understanding why. Jamie was too much of a gentleman to take advantage of you. Or too much of a decent human being with common sense.
"Will you... will you stay with me tonight?" You asked, quietly.
Jamie smiled softly, dragging his hands down to interlock with yours. "I thought you'd never ask."
Very self indulgent.

Im pretty sure thats the post that other anon was talking about. They didn't put it real well but they are kinda right.
Things are not as they were. Unless major reform is enacted a third party will never win in the usa. Not as it is. And any hope of reform will disappear if we get another red prez. Between gerrymandering and the electoral college and the pearl clutching moderates who get scared of progressives, to Republicans with no morals who will 100% vote red without hesitation. We effectively only have 2 parties. At least for now.
A Republican candidate hasn't won the popular vote in decades yet they somehow keep running things.
Everyone I know is scared. Scared this will be our last election next year. But no one is more scared than the disabled. We are terrified. Theres a lot of chatter from the right about "dealing" with us and other "freeloaders" we are legitimately scared for our lives.
Protest votes is what gave us that disaster in 2016 and why roe vs wade is gone now. If they win again they are going to push the rest of their agenda through. These posts about refusing to vote or voting third party are exactly like they were in 2016. We've been down this road once already.
If given the choice of neglect vs active homicidal intent we all have at least a chance to survive neglect.
And neglect gives us time to do something. Work locally. Try and push for reform. It's horrible but it's what we have. And for most disabled it's ALL we have. We can't run, other countries won't take us.
I've even seen some scream about revolution but with zero plans for us. What will their revolution do with us? Will we still have our medical access? Will we still be taken care of? Or will the wheels of the revolution be greased with our blood?
K so this is a lot for first in the morning, and I'm glad that someone has explained it a bit more detail bc I cannot stress this enough IM CANADIAN we live with a mutli party system. We, like most of democracies in the world, function with multiple parties at play. And tbh? They still use "splitting the vote is dangerous" talking point here. Here, it's used to prevent ppl from voting for actual reform in government. It's used to say "Green party will never win in they're trying to do rent caps and UBI!" Despite these being popular standing points with many many ppl and honestly the only reason ppl haven't voted them in is bc of this fear tactic. And yet this year, they've come in 3rd place if not 1st in several towns, cities, and providences. They've made headway, and also a lot of liberal ideals and NDP talking points are just old green party ones so ppl want those policies. But if it wasn't for those tree huggers 10 yrs ago fighting, and losing and being made fun of, as a seperate party and forcing them to move that direction they never would.
And let's be clear, Trump won bc of electoral collage he did not win popular vote in 2016 you where overruled the vote didnt matter. Just like Bush did against Al Gore in 2000
That doesn't mean its hopeless or that you shluldnt vote particularlly on local levels. More ppl then ever in history are voting!! Turn outs are the highest they've been since 1950s!! (Also the last peak in union reforms btw) It's scary flipping parties, you might loose to Democrats or Republicans. It will be horrible. But yall are on the cusp of a civil war and fascism anyway, as an outsider who should hold little say over what you choose in this election, I'd still endorse the 3rd party. idk yall your system seems fucked and legit doesn't seem to care how you vote so scare them into using your vote for someone else and make them admit they're not actually counting your votes.
If there's so many ppl like a different policy and candidate it forms another party then you NEED a different party to have a voice anyway. Even if it's in defeat it must exist and I'll happily be on the loosing side.
These are talking points that are used to stagnate progress and to (rightfully) scare ppl into voting for someone they don't like. So if it scares you too much, i wont be upset with however you vote. Its yours. It's scary out here no matter the outcome rn. But I can't let myself be shaken when there is hope and I will personally work for that hope so it's no longer a scary option for those who can't afford the choice.

I struggled so hard to come up with a list of pitches. But I did it and sent it in. Between family stuff, fatigue from *gestures at the universe*, and my allergies kicking my butt (thanks a lot botanical sexism and one stupid book from the 40鈥瞫) I need a head pat and a treat.

hi love! can i request 3 or 16 with jamie and a male (or gn!) reader please? maybe following him to or from man city or just being the one to take care of jamie? thank you!
Yeah absoltuely! I hope you enjoy!
(I think I understood what you meant, lmk if you had something different in mind and I can write another.)
3.鈥淚 would follow you to the ends of the earth. I would follow you off of them."
You paced outside Nelson Road, waiting for someone to appear. Man City had been an emotional game to say the least. Watching Jamie play with such vigor, such passion, and made your heart swell with pride. Pride that had been quickly replaced with fear when Jamie fell and didn't get up.
He'd been able to get back up and score a solo goal but after that, he was sat out for the rest of the game. Now, you had to wait to see if he would remerge with the rest of the group, or if he'd already gone home.
See he didn't exactly know you'd come to the game. You were only out to a few people and hadn't really talked about a label for the realtionship quite yet. You'd met the team, and some of the coaches, but beyond that, it was still new. Usually, you'd just wait for him to come home but right now, you couldn't wait.
That's when Isaac and Dani came out of the door, laughing and chatting as they headed to their cars.
"Isaac!" You called out. "Is Jamie coming out?"
"Hey," Isaac replied. "Nah, bruv, he's still in there. Getting his foot looked at."
You nodded heading in that direction. Nelson road was a maze to you. Jamie insisted that it was straight forward but somehow, you always manged to get lost.
Eventually, you looked into a window and saw the poor boy, sitting on a table with his foot in a bucket of ice. The creaked the door open and knocked to gain his attention. He looked up, and when he saw you, he broke into a surprised smile.
"It's you!" He greeted, putting his phone away.
"It's me," you returned, giving him a hestitant smile.
"Well, what are you doing all the way over there, for, c'mere," Jamie insisted, holding out a hand for you.
You didn't need convincing. You moved over to him faster than you meant to and accepted his hug greedily.
"You were brilliant, Jamie, really," you murmured, resting your chin on his head.
"Did you follow me all the way to Manchester?" Jamie blurted, looking up at you.
"I'd follow you to the ends of the earth, I think," you shrugged, letting out a breathy laugh. "And probably would follow you off them as well."
Jamie flushed at the sweetness in your words. Then he winced, feeling a particularlly harsh cramp go through his leg. Right! His foot! You'd nearly forgotten!
"Oh, Jamie, how do you manage to always get yourself in these situations?" You sighed, kneeling down to look at his foot.
"I do it so I can see you all flustered like you are right now," he goaded, kicking his foot up a bit. You glared at him. "See, look how cute you look."
"Well, you definetly won't be on it for a few days," you instructured, moving it around delicately. "Gotta keep it raised for a while."
He saluted at you, looking very serious. "Whatever you say, doctor."
Then the door opened from behind you and two people walked in. One of them you recognized as Roy Kent, former player turned coach for Richmond, the other was a women you vaguely recognized but couldn't name.
"Oh, shit!" She swored, looking between the two of you. "Are we interupting something?"
"Not at all!" Jamie grinned, pulling you back up into his side. "This is (Y/N), my boyfriend."
Boyfriend. The label fell so easily off his tongue. You glanced down at Jamie, somewhat in shock, but he just held you tighter.
The women squealed in excitement as she rushed towards you. "Hi! I'm Keeley Jones! It's a pleasure to meet you."
"You drink?" The man next to her asked. You nodded. "Good. I'm Roy."
He shoved a bottle of champagne in your hand and went to pull up a chair. You stood there, still reeling from the situation, but one tug from Jamie had you sitting down by his side. As his boyfriend. In a room with two of his close friends. Yeah, this definetly felt right.
