Dear Chris Evans,
I’ve waited and watched. I’ve gone back and forth with Real vs PR. I’m just a fan, of your work, but I also because of what you seemed to stand for and acted like a real person. I think I’m done now.
There has been questionable ‘sightings’ even though you claim to want to be private. Your friends and hers have posted the two of you. You have posted her twice yourself. But then you seem to hide her. That isn’t a good look. If you are in love with someone, you don’t hide them because you want to be private yet leak photos and hints to keep your fans spiraling when you know how some can be.
We all know celebrities use social media for what they WANT fans to see. Why? Because they want privacy, as they should, to separate their work world from real life. I completely agree with doing so, BUT I don’t agree with going back and forth. You owe fans nothing except maybe the respect that goes both ways. After all, your fans have been the reason you have your paychecks. I think we deserve a little bit of respect not to be played by what you say in interviews vs. what you show yourself to be through your actions.
There are so many examples of couples being private but NOT hiding significant others like they are embarrassed to be seen. A real private couple does things together but do not post montages on their socials, like scare videos and couples pictures. People do not call paparazzi unless they want to be seen. A real private couple does still go to things together, they don’t hide but they don’t bring attention to themselves. Real private couples do not let things drop during a special date for something else. One example, the NYC pap walk on the day that Warrior Nun season 2 dropped right after SMA.
Tabloids run on things they are given. There have been more articles about you and this girl than Harry and Meghan, Jennifer and Ben, etc., etc., etc. your reps have never confirmed anything. IMDb does not list her as your wife. Your mother liked a tweet about the girl being racist.
I had no issues at first, thinking you wanted privacy, which I thought was a great idea, given your fandom. I gave you the benefit of the doubt for a good while. But then it seemed like her friends and yours, her mom, along with the likes on IG, proved this isn’t private. Certain social media sites have been the only ones to randomly get these pictures that are nowhere to be found. It’s only a few, and they usually come at specific times when there is doubt. Friends posted from Lisbon, Avengers in MA, and the wedding rumors began. I’m sorry, but when there is an NDA, then the wedding news should not have leaked because the NDA would cover that. And if you have to ask people to turn in their phones to attend, that’s rude and you’ve invited people you don’t trust.
Showing up to a convention, with a ring on but you can’t say her name. Just ‘Go Portugal!’ And then go on about Dodger.
Let’s not even get into photoshopped or not photoshopped because I don’t even know anymore.
I could go on and on but it saddens me. I cannot be a fan of someone just because of their projects, and that’s just me. I have kept quiet, because it’s none of my business what you do with your life. What is my business though, is who I give my hard earned money to. Barely getting by on what I make, medications and food for my kids continue to rise in cost, but they also enjoy Captain America because he seemed like a good guy in real life too. Now they come to me with things they’ve seen online like Captain America’s new wife nude in the shower. They have seen people posting about her friends and their previous tweets, and things they’ve said. Why? Because you have played games with your fandom and they got pissed and exposed things. Let’s be honest, kids get online and see things even if they aren’t supposed to. Luckily they didn’t see your ‘slip’ up, because your fans cleaned that for you quickly, but the shower pictures continue to be passed around. They also said in some of the pictures they saw you post that they thought you had a daughter but found out it was your girlfriend.
I would make sure you don’t have any more slip ups because I feel like your fans are limited at this point. The ones that see your work the day it comes out. That’s one reason why Ghosted flopped. Before this, your fans would have said you did wonderful even if you didn’t.
After the new picture of the two of you at the Globes after party, I CHOOSE to not be a fan and hand you my money. I know it isn’t much, but I will choose to spend it on a different movie or person at a convention. Maybe I just won’t have a favorite anymore because it seems like a lot just tell fans what they want to hear.
I don’t know if it’s Real or PR and don’t care but it’s the game you seem to be playing that I don’t like. I don’t care what people think of my opinion and have not posted anything about a side. I just know you look like such a hypocrite and lose fans by the hour now. So many blogs and pages that are team PR or Team Real and they argue over who is right and wrong, because you and everyone around you are playing with them. You are using them for free publicity and that is sickening. I didn’t believe it was happening and you were just trying to protect your love life. But, eventually, it was just so obvious with the tiniest bit of things creeping in on the same sites and coincidences on dates. Mostly, I just don’t want to watch all the drama that has become part of being your fan. I like to escape the real world by looking at my favorite celebrities and what they are up to or their movies etc. I don’t want to see the gross mess you have become. She looks like your daughter, so I choose to leave. You don’t know me or care because I’m just one fan, but I do know who you want people to see you as now and I don’t like this version. Be private or just don’t hide. Look happy, not miserable. Treat her like your love and wife, because I would never allow my boyfriend/husband treat me the way it appears you are treating her. To the public, she looks like a mail order bride that jumps as soon as you tell her too. It’s gross.
So, it’s been a long, fun ride being your fan until now. Enjoy traveling back and forth and wear sunscreen to the beach, because boy are you white. Research the word ‘privacy’ and maybe get those NDA’s to the people leaking things if you want privacy or take their phones from them when they are in your proximity. Invest in energy drinks next, she’s a lot younger and likes to travel and have sex (maybe check out her soft porn). Let Buddah know she did a film with a demon having sex with her. Maybe purchase a plane and get a pilots license, because older dogs don’t travel as well as they age and that’s a long ride to Portugal. Remind your wife to keep her clothes on and keep your 🍆 in your pants because I think Team Real is even over this mess and don’t want to see it. Thanks for the laughs and smiles over the years. I wish you luck and hope you’re happier than you actually look.
Sincerely,
An Ex-Fan of Christopher Robert Evans

This was a very good article! I loved hearing Kristen’s (and Jodie Fosters) perspective as a queer trailblazer. Inserting some snippets below 🤍
To get to this point, Stewart’s weathered more than a decade of unrelenting media scrutiny, first about her straight relationships, then about her gay ones, as she figured out her own identity. She leveraged her global stardom from the “Twilight” franchise not to become a superhero or a lifestyle guru, but to fuel an astonishing run of acclaimed independent films, including “Clouds of Sils Maria,” “Still Alice,” “Certain Women,” “Personal Shopper” and the Princess Diana drama “Spencer,” for which she earned an Oscar nomination.
“Whenever I hear that she’s doing something new, I’m so curious to see what it is, because it’s going to be a movie that hasn’t been made before,” says Clea DuVall, who directed Stewart in one of her only Hollywood films during this period, Hulu’s 2020 release “Happiest Season,” the first lesbian Christmas rom-com backed by a major studio. “She really is so herself. And I think that’s why so many people respond to her the way they do — because she is so authentic.”
By the time Stewart stepped on the stage of “Saturday Night Live” in February 2017, she’d spent the previous two years trying to convince the press that it was OK to write about her relationships with women, rather than resort to the vexing practice of referring to her girlfriend as her “gal pal.”
“It wasn’t even like I was hiding,” she says. “I was so openly out with my girlfriend for years at that point. I’m like, ‘I’m a pretty knowable person.’”
But even with that posture, the media’s “gal pal” dog whistle triggered a deeper, more painful history of intrusive curiosity about Stewart’s sexual identity. “For so long, I was like, ‘Why are you trying to skewer me? Why are you trying to ruin my life? I’m a kid, and I don’t really know myself well enough yet,’” she says. “The idea of people going, ‘I knew that you were a little queer kid forever.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, yeah? Well, you should honestly have seen me fuck my first boyfriend.’”
It’s worth dwelling on this point: For almost the entire history of Hollywood, queer actors dreaded the public discovering who they really were, and that fear kept the closet door firmly closed. “Because I was gay, I really retreated,” says DuVall, who came out publicly in 2016. “Even doing a teeny tiny movie like [the ’90s lesbian cult favorite] ‘But I’m a Cheerleader,’ people immediately were like, ‘She’s gay, how can we out her?’ I wanted to stay small.”
Stewart, though, went big, with a monologue on “SNL” about how President Donald Trump, in 2012, obsessively tweeted about her relationship with Pattinson. “Donald, if you didn’t like me then, you’re really probably not going to like me now, because I’m hosting ‘SNL’ — and I’m, like, so gay, dude,” she said to wild cheers from the audience.
“It was cool to frame it in a funny context because it could say everything without having to sit down and do an interview,” Stewart says before running through the kind of questions queer actors have had to consider before coming out publicly: “‘So what platform is that going to be on? And who’s going to make money on that? And who’s going to be the person that broke it?’ I broke it, alone.”
A few days later, I mention Stewart’s “SNL” monologue to Foster over the phone, and she lets out a big laugh. “I never knew that,” she says. “What a wonderful, funny, wry, modern way to be honest to the world. That’s just awesome.”
As Stewart talks about her “SNL” experience, I think about how no stars of her age and stature ever came out when I was growing up as a gay kid in the 1980s and ’90s. So to have her professional trajectory not skip a beat feels like real progress.
When I tell her as much, she takes the conversation in an unexpected direction. “Because I’m an actor, I want people to like me, and I want certain parts,” she says. “I have lots of different experiences that shape who I am that are very, very far from binary. But I did get good at the heteronormative quality. I play that role well. It comes from a somewhat real place — it’s not fake. But it’s fucked up that if I was gayer, it wouldn’t be the case.”
I try to clarify what she means: “So your career maybe would have suffered after coming out had you not affected a performative femininity …”
“… that I know works to my advantage,” she admits, nodding. “That’s why I’m fucking stoked about ‘Love Lies Bleeding.’”
Stewart didn’t let that scandal, as intense as it was in the moment, stifle her. Instead, she grew to fully embrace her queerness in her public life — like bringing her girlfriend, screenwriter Dylan Meyer, to the Oscars in 2022. “It’s not that I wasn’t scared,” Stewart says. “It was just that there was no other way to live.”
She’s even started to recognize that the most ostensibly heterosexual thing she’s done, “Twilight,” has its own queer sparkle. “I can only see it now,” she says. “I don’t think it necessarily started off that way, but I also think that the fact that I was there at all, it was percolating. It’s such a gay movie. I mean, Jesus Christ, Taylor [Lautner] and Rob and me, and it’s so hidden and not OK. I mean, a Mormon woman wrote this book. It’s all about oppression, about wanting what’s going to destroy you. That’s a very Gothic, gay inclination that I love.”
I ask Stewart if she understands how much her decision to come out has also made her a role model for LGBTQ people. She cackles. “Oh, you have no idea,” she says. “Every single woman that I’ve ever met in my whole life who ever kissed a girl in college is like, ‘Yeah, I mean, me too.’ I’m constantly joking with my girlfriend. I’ll be sitting there and be like” — she whispers — “‘She’s gay too. Everyone’s gay.’”
It can be easy to forget just how rare this still is, a giant movie star living such an openly queer life. “It feels like a generational thing, where I’m watching somebody make the leaps that I didn’t think I could ever do,” Foster says.
After fiercely guarding her privacy for decades, Foster came out publicly at the 2013 Golden Globes, and has just now played her first explicitly gay character in the 2023 biopic “Nyad.” Talking about Stewart has put Foster in a reflective mood. As our call is coming to an end, she offers this unprompted insight: “I get a lot of questions about who I was and what I represented in the industry, and was I — I don’t know …” She exhales. “Was I helpful in terms of representation? I’m sure there’s a 12- or 13- or 14-year-old when I was making movies as a young person who said that I had something to offer to them in their life as a queer person. I had to do it my way. I had pioneers to help the way, who I’m grateful for. And now people can be grateful for Kristen for being the pioneer. I’m just — I’m grateful to her.”
This sense of communion with the wider LGBTQ tribe is why Stewart has dedicated herself to embracing the fullness of who she is as a bro-y, butch-y queer woman in her work as an actor and, come hell or high water, a director.
“I was like, ‘I would like to be on that team because we need each other,’” Stewart says. “I didn’t want to be left out anymore. It was this whole world that I didn’t realize I could explore.”

Discussion of possible Bad Batch spoilers under the cut:
Full credit to @eriexplosion for basically all of this, to begin with. They found this article from Collider with another pre-season interview, and it’s kind of interesting It’s mostly about Fives, Echo, and how the writers wanted to include a conversation about Fives between Rex and Echo, but never found a place to put it and so imagine it having happened off screen. And that’s actually all very interesting and kind of what I expected—that they’d thought about it but weren’t sure where to put it. But there is also a segment where they look forward to season three, and in that segment, we get this:
Tumblr media
Okay, first off, full credit to @eriexplosion again for pointing out the “or is he?” because I blazed right past that.
Second, Collider has the review copies. The person who wrote this article, Arezou Amin, isn’t the same person at Collider who posted their impression of the first eight episodes on social media (Maggie Lovitt), and may not have seen the review episodes. But Maggie Lovitt, who also conducted the interview on which the write-up is based, has, and she probably involved in at least checking over the write-up, and therefore at least didn’t demand that, “Or is he?” be taken out. Meaning there’s a good chance it’s there on purpose with someone in the know not objecting to it.
Third, “Or is he?” OR IS HE? oR iS he?? Oooorrrr iiisssss hhheeeeeeeeeee I’m chewing on your drywall, Collider.
And fifth, joking aside, I think that this, combined with everything else, and the deleted Joel Aron tweet actually gives us a good idea of where the lines for how people in the know are allowed to talk about Tech are. People at media outlets outside Lucasfilm can say he’s dead outright (whether or not they know for sure). People in the cast and crew can’t say that outright; they can talk about it very seriously and as though he’s gone, but they have to use euphemisms that they don’t have to with other characters, and they always have to leave at least a bit (and sometimes a lot) of wiggle room in their phrasing for him to be alive. Those euphemisms have a pattern to them and a lot of the phrasing makes the most sense if Tech is coming back in a way that severely limits what he can do in the field, if he can be part of the action in the field at all. And people writing the summaries for the Star Wars website have to write the most non-committal things possible, like, “Tech fell from a tram car.”
Cast and crew also can’t outright say that he’s alive, but they can hint at it, and hint pretty directly. Like. Really directly. “Gently cupping the faces of the audience and telling them that it’s going to be okay” kind of directly. And repeatedly. What they seemingly can’t hint about, however, is how Tech might be coming back or where he might be—even IF the hints are misleading or possibly unintentional (either of which which the deleted Joel Aron tweet might have been).
Which honestly just makes me think that the how rather than the if was what the people involved thought would be the center of all the speculation.
Edit: Apparently the official Star Wars website can use the word death in the editorial part of interviews. I should, however, not that the DBB interview that went up today is the only one to have done so, and that DBB himself never said Tech died. What he actually says fits into the pattern of what he’s been saying for months.

Tumblr media
I got so many messages following Sunday’s game.
Instagram, snapchat, twitter, my email was even blowing up along with text messages rumbling in from nearly every single person that I know along with people that I had never met before.
There was this sudden interest in my life. People who really never wanted anything to do with me in high school now want everything to do with me, tickets to games, behind the scenes info, all the things that I would give them if we were actually friends but we’re not. Old family members that I didn’t talk to anymore except for birthdays and holidays were suddenly so interested in my job, wanting to read everything I’ve ever published.
There were even tweets left by other football players on my most recent tweet that I posted, addressing the loads of questions about my state and about whether I’m okay or not. I just simply stated that I’m okay and don’t need any medical interventions and that Rafe was a gentleman for helping me up. I only made the post in the first place because half of the people that commented or reached out were concerned that Rafe had actually hurt me when he took me down when indeed, it was just my pride. Had I known that by posting that, I’d be getting interaction from every football player out there, I wouldn’t have posted it to begin with, especially with the incessant jokes they’ve left on my page- jokes that have attracted news stations in our area along with NFL commentators.
Rafe Cameron’s new woman?
Was the run in between sports journalist Y/n Y/L/N and Rafe Cameron planned to act as  a sort of ‘hard launch’?
Does Y/L/N have it out for Rafe Cameron’s wide receiver paycheck?
The jokes started with Rafe’s own team, the team who’s known me as their faithful journalist, all turning against me to make jokes at my expense about how I ‘fell for Cameron’ and even made jokes about making our ‘ship name’ on shirts and hats for the whole team to wear.
Given their track record, I assumed that they’d do it.
But it did bother me, to see people all of a sudden equate my worth to one incident with a person that I barely know, chalking up our ten minutes of conversation into this huge love story where I’m the desperate damsel and he’s this loverboy giving me the chance of a lifetime, a chance to ‘be with him’, even though neither him nor I have talked to each other since the whole incident.
I got people asking me for interviews left and right, newscasters begging me to come on their shows and podcasts to speak about my opinion of the Rafe Cameron. I even got a call from my own manager asking if I would write a piece on Rafe and I almost agreed but then I wondered how weird it would be for him to read an article written by the girl that he flirted with during a whole entire conference and also toppled over when winning one of the most important games of the season.
I came up with the alternative that I would go and interview all of the players as a whole during their at home practice before we all hop on a plane and go to Boston for a playoff game. My boss was on board and claimed it would bring in enough publicity, especially since half the country is looking forward to hearing Rafe and I interact, pining after us like we’re some fictional romance or as if I’m a contestant on a TLC dating show.
My heels click against the concrete of the tunnel and my stomach only hurts more and more the closer I get to the literal light at the end of the tunnel. I can hear the men yelling and running around and I can already picture the bright smiles on all of their faces, knowing how excited they get for interviews. They’ll do anything for a break.
I’m going to be honest, the amount of effort that went into my outfit, make up and hair was probably a little bit excessive but there’s a part of me that wants to do what everyone’s been talking about all over social media; knock Rafe off his feet. It was such a confidence boost to see Rafe completely and utterly enthralled in my very presence at the conference and I’d be stupid to ignore the follow request in my instagram right now, from him.
When I stepped out into the sun, I’m immediately caught off guard by a bunch of whistles sung into the air, my neck craning to look at the bench with a teasing look, watching the huge men lining the bench wave sweetly at me with feigned affection. I give them an awkward wave in return as they all begin to shout individually;
“Hey Cameron! Your girlfriends here!”
“Rafe, your girl’s here to see you.”
“Your baby mama's here, Rafe!”
“Baby mama- what?” I giggle breathlessly and under my breath, watching Rafe slip his helmet off and he jogs towards me. Before he can reach me, I take a step back, holding a teasing hand up to his chest, feeling his heart pound beneath my fingers. “Don’t want you taking me down again.” He looks shocked for a moment before he laughs sheepishly, eyes rolling at my obvious taunting and he takes a step back with his arms raised in surrender.
“Jesus, it was one time.” He scoffs, reaching up to rub at the back of his neck, a gentle blush sweeping across his cheeks cutely. “I’m never gonna get past that am I?” My head shakes rapidly at him with a huge, proud grin, reaching out to pat his shoulder, feeling sparks beneath my fingers.
“Never, nope. Not when the whole internet is talking about it.” A look of realization passes across his face and I can see the images of the tweets and articles pass through his eyes and I imagine the same, picturing all of the snapshots that the cameramen managed to take of us and, to be honest, it took everything in me to not save them to my phone and send them to my dad who still refuses to believe that Rafe and I actually talked, even after hearing the post-conference conversation and the actual tackle in the first place.
“Correction, talking about us.” He grins, swaying gently on his feet while pointing a finger between the two of us and I tilt my head at him with a dumb smile.
“What us?”
“Ouch Cameron, she’s got you wrapped around her little, talented finger.” Greg approaches us quickly and without warning, swooping an arm around Rafe’s shoulder as he gives me a handsome smile and a wink. Rafe’s soft expression drops almost immediately and it doesn’t go without noticing the way his shoulders tense the minute Greg appears, his hungry eyes staring at me like a predator would look at its prey.
“Hi Greg.” I smile politely, ignoring the way that Rafe takes a step closer to me, glazing over at me as I pull my notepad out, prepared to give Greg my typical interview questions but he speaks before I can ask any questions.
“Hey, sweetcheeks. Are you here to interview us? Coach said something about it.” Greg asks, turning to look at Rafe with a shit eating grin and Rafe sighs, shoving his friend away from him and taking another protective step towards me, arm brushing against mine and it sends goosebumps down my spine.
“Yeah, I wanted to chat with some of you during practice, get some lines about the playoffs and winning last week's game.”
“Oh you mean the game where you won a buddy-boy's heart?” Greg winks at Rafe and Rafe clears his throat awkwardly, looking down at his feet with a tired smile. I pick up on the tension that’s between them, as if something’s happened in the last week that I’ve seen them. They’ve been fine all season, all buddy-buddy, a cute bromance, but today I can see the discomfort practically oozing out of Rafe as he stands so closely beside me.
“Get the fuck out of here, Greg. You’re the fucking quarterback, you need practice more than any of us.” Rafe shoves him away and turns to me, ignoring the questioning look that his friend gives him and I make a mental note to write down the ‘tension’ that appears to be wracking through the team as the playoffs come and go.
“Ouch, baby needs a nap.” Greg sends me a wink and a pervish smile, shoving Rafe towards me as he stumbles and I reach out to steady him, hands gripping his strong shoulders.
“Sorry about him. He’s a pain.” Rafe mutters, returning to his normal position across from me, still standing closer than before but keeping an honest distance between us, something my mom would call ‘leaving room for Jesus’ and, I’ll be honest, the closeness, the protectiveness, is extremely attractive and refreshing to see, especially from Rafe who’s already so strong and protective as is. And incredibly hot if I might add, not much room for Jesus here.
“Oh really? Couldn’t tell.” I laugh, reaching out to pat his shoulder in an attempt to console him and his shoulders roll in an attempt to loosen up a bit, jaw slacking. He laughs sheepishly at me with a soft smile, hooded eyes sweeping to look down at the ground and I can just make out the blush on his cheeks as he turns to look back at the team that’s still practicing.
“You’re funny. And stunning. You look different than your typical get-up.” His eyes shift to look over me once more, this time ten times more obvious than he did when he first approached me but not nearly as obvious as Greg’s eyes on my boobs.
“You know what my typical getup is?” I ask with an honest tilt of my head, teasing him but at the same time, it makes me wonder if he’s truly been paying attention to me longer than last week. The thought makes me think back to every single outfit I’ve ever worn in front of him, remembering the one time I wore a pretty embarrassing spongebob shirt to practice one day after I had woken up, completely and utterly hungover.
“I pay attention.” He shrugs with a coy smile.
“To a random journalist?”
“To a random beautiful woman? Yes.” His flirting is incessant but I have to give him credit because he is possibly one of the most sweet talking, charming people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He seems to know just what I want to hear and just what will have my heart racing. “Most distracting thing on the field.” He bumps me with his shoulder and I grin vividly, hands reaching up to rest on my cheeks to conceal the heat coming from them. “Did you get my follow request?”
“We should talk about the game.” I laugh awkwardly, suddenly feeling so comfortably claustrophobic in his shadow and I’m so close to him that I could just lean into him and fit my body into his. I bet his body would fit against mine like Cinderella's slipper.
Isn’t that what they’re calling us? A match made in heaven?
“Fine, fine. I’ll reel it in a bit.”
We fall into a comfortable silence, both of us turning to watch the players on the field, tossing the ball back and forth and running drills- but what gets my attention is the noises coming from the bench and I turn my head to see four of the players making faces at Rafe and I and clutching their chests in cute affection.
“Don’t look now but they’re making kissy faces at us.” I whisper to Rafe and he scoffs, giving them a simple look out of the corner of his eyes before he leans down to me, whispering against the shell of my ear and it has me gulping in breaths of air.
“Ignore them. They’re pussy-sober which makes them sad and stupid.” I giggle, shoving him away from me with wide, playful eyes.
“Oh and you’re not?” His lips part in a look of shock but a pleasant shock as his dropped jaw slowly turns into a bright smile, his head once more lulling forward as he avoids looking at me out of pure embarrassment.
“Ouch, Y/l/n.” He whispers, reaching up to pat his chest with a pout. “You wound me.”
“And you literally wounded me.” Folding my arms across my chest he pouts with furrowed brows, hands reaching out to rest on my shoulders as he gives me another once over, almost as if he’s looking for injuries though I think the real reason is to just have another reason to look at me.
“Fuck, I asked if you were hurt, you said you were fine. Are you okay? Do you need to get checked out, I’ll pay-” He starts but I reach up to place a hand on his chest, cutting his words off and instead he’s now tuned in on the fact that I’m touching him, his heart rate speeding up beneath my touch.
“Rafe, it’s a big bruise on my hip. I’ll live.”
The coach calls Rafe over almost immediately before Rafe can ask to see the wound on my hip and I’m glad that he did because the last thing I wanted was for him to see how big the bruise is and how big of a baby I actually am. How he was already so ready to take care of me, help me pay for medical care- I’m beginning to wonder if he’s just like this or if he’s just like this with me.
It’s fun to watch him play, watch him sprint across the field and catch the ball effortlessly, nine times out of ten falling dramatically to the ground after catching it and looking back at me with wide, excited eyes, almost asking ‘did you see that?’ It makes me appreciate his roots, the fact that at one time, he was just a little boy playing flag football and winning high school games and now he’s with the big boys, making all of his dreams come true. It’s quite the tearjerker.
“Hey, Y/n!” Rafe calls out suddenly, startling me from my note taking and I spot him running towards me with a ball. “Wanna learn how to throw?” He asks, tossing me the ball and I grin down at it, feeling the worn leather beneath my hands as Rafe’s pupils dilate a bit watching me, his hands moving to grip at the neckline of his jersey.
“Is this a part of the interview?” I ask teasingly, tossing the ball back in his direction and he rolls his eyes dramatically. “You don’t throw the ball, Rafe-”
“You can just say ‘I was shown exactly how Rafe and Greg do what they do and look great while doing it.” He winks and I scoff at him, turning my head just to hide the shit eating grin on my lips that seems to be a permanent thing around him. “C’mon.” He reaches out to take my hand gently in his as he begins to walk backwards, taking me further onto the field with every step I take. “Please?” He pleads, thumb brushing against my hand as I ponder for a moment, weighing the pros and cons but when I come up with nothing, I give him a simple shrug, taking the ball from him with a grin.

CHRIS WILL BE JUST FINE…
A portion of Chris’ fandom is really mad at him for accepting to be part of a shitshow with such a problematic girl. And rightfully so. But it’s important to keep something in perspective: Chris is going to be just fine.
Stars have gotten away with much worse
I saw this article this morning about celebrities being involved in big scandals. https://www.buzzfeed.com/hannahmarder/wild-forgotten-celeb-controversies
There are many more that didn’t make the list and definitely could have. Even recently, Greta Gerwig’s partner left the mother of his unborn child to be with her. It’s awards season so of course, it has been buried. Same situation with Claire Danes’ sordid affair with Billy Crudup a long time ago.
So many of these Hollywood folks are problematic and have gotten away with it and continue to get away with it.
Their behavior range from the problematic to the horrific and criminal.
Casey Affleck allegedly assaulted a woman sexually and settled his case out of court. He won an Oscar for Manchester by the sea anyway. If people are curious, look at how Brie Larson handed his awards. She knew!
According to Rose McGowan, his brother Ben Affleck would have told her after she had confessed to him that Weinstein (let's not even discuss him) raped her: “I told him to stop doing that”.
Allegedly a former girlfriend of Fassbender pressed charges against him after he violently assaulted her. And I could go on and on.
Many have done much worse than being in a PR relationship with someone problematic and have gotten away with it. So in the grand scheme of things, Chris will be just fine. His “relationship” with Abba will be buried and soon it will be a forgotten memory, only remembered by a small portion of his fandom.
Chris’ darker side
Chris’ history is rather tame compared to all those super problematic people and or criminals that are still on the loose.
But yes, he has made mistakes in the past like everyone else and he has done his fair share of problematic stuff as well. In his younger days, there were rumors of fights and being thrown out of bars. There has been rumors of drug use. There was that messy affair with a married costar during the shooting of Gifted. Also let’s not forget the more recent papwalk in London with Lily James during Covid Lockdown to clean her sniffing cocaine in the park. The pairing of Captain America and Cinderella was a good idea on paper but the execution was atrocious and tactless. It was already a sign of his team’s gross incompetence and miscalculation. There was also the leak of the screenshot of his phone. The d..k pic was all people talked about but some of the other pictures were even more problematic, not as embarrassing of course but more problematic.
Also Chris’ friends and family and Chris himself have trolled his fandom for years. A day before he left for Portugal at the beginning of this shitshow, he tweeted a pic of himself and wrote something like: “I love my fans and Dodger loves you too”. He then hopped on a plane and purposefully filmed a video for that teacher from his hotel room in Lisbon so that his fans (plants?) could place him there. And surprise surprise, there was some backlash on certain platforms and just afterwards he or his team tweeted a picture of him with a bald kid with cancer. It was actually the low point for me. Much worse than anything he did with Abba. I think the picture was 2 years old and I know celebrities use charities to make themselves look good all the time. But using the pic of a sick child for damaged control was as low as you can get. I am not sure he promoted Christopher’s Haven ever since.
And of course, there are still the ongoing shenanigans with the Nazi sympathizing yacht girl…
But like Chris said in an interview the past year, the industry makes you do things you don’t want to do. Hollywood is indeed a snake pit where they sometimes force you to compromise yourself and play certain games if you want to be successful. That is part of the price to pay.
He needed a change in his PR image
Chris was at a good place in his career after Endgame. Knives Out was a huge hit and Defending Jacob got good reviews. He seemed to have diversified but Covid happened and derailed a lot of stuff. Little shop of Horrors was canceled. He didn’t have Marvel to fall back on and he seemed to be at a crossroads career wise and PR-wise. He couldn’t remain the perfect internet boyfriend and play Prince charming waiting for the one forever. He had to evolve into more adults parts as well: husbands, fathers etc.
This is probably why his team came up with this PR relationship and those kinda of weddings. Again it was a good idea on paper because it enabled them to change his image in a natural and organic way. But the execution was again as disastrous as it gets. Abba was not a good fit for him and she was not a good choice especially if they wanted to rebrand him as a family man.
The question remains whether she is the only one who agreed to this charade. Indeed the contract’s terms seem rather drastic. She has never been able to even post anything about him (just his dog) or about marrying him. She has mostly hid for the past years and just popped up for PR events or reasons. And given the GQ event, it's likely she is not even allowed to speak in public. Remember the articles saying she was rude and refused to talk to the media. Who would agree to this kind of contract but a desperate clout chaser with little prospect?
An artist’s career is full of ups and downs. Hopefully, once this is over, Chris will get opportunities to expand on his body of work with more diverse roles. I think Pain Hustlers was supposed to do that for him but even if he was rather good in it, the movie wasn’t. I do think he has the acting chops to do it. Whether or not he will get such opportunities is another question… I am not sure this shitshow would have helped him at all in that regard but time will tell.

In recent years, Tony has taken using the Robert Pattinson interview technique ie: lying about answers because he’s bored. Fav movie? Footloose. Fav food? Spaghetti. Fav band? Steely Dan
Again, non of these are true and he changes the answer so often people catch on he’s lying, which wasn’t a problem until he got a new set of friends that want to get him a birthday present and if they google anything about him the get…conflicting info. And asking him about what he wants makes him go all awwww no need i don’t need presents. Which is unhelpful
Unfortunately Steve is still too new to the future to catch the issue and give Tony some very thoughtful gifts based off his recent answers and Tony smiles and says he loves them and oops he’s committed
(Also please picture Steve planning a first date with Tony with them watching Footloose and eating spaghetti while listening to Steely Dan. And Tony did not hate any of them but they weren’t his actual fav but now they might be???)
And Steve does find out the problem on his own but makes Tony continue to pretend he enjoys his fake favs until he confesses lol
LMAO oh my god yes absolutely all of this.
to be fair, tony had never really given the press real answers whenever he was asked things that were too personal, even back in his younger days. he was already in the spotlight enough, he didn’t need the whole world to know every single thing about him. but he always had the same scripted answers just for consistency’s sake, and he always had some bullshit reason to explain it all. favorite food? new york pizza (because new york will always be home). favorite movie? the godfather part ii (because it reminds him of his mother’s stories about immigrating to america, and he doesn’t get to visit his grandparents nearly enough). favorite band? abba (who doesn’t like dancing queen?)
but after he comes back from afghanistan, after the ultimate wake up call, he just can’t be bothered with keeping the press happy anymore. he still doesn’t much care for letting people know too much about him, but he also doesn’t put too much effort into appeasing the press because he has other things to worry about. so the next time he gives an interview and the reporter asks him one of these inane questions, he tells her his favorite band is steely dan. then twitter goes wild. his ultra fans pull up the receipts from his past decade of interviews and calls him out on it. “i thought it was abba??” someone tweets, and it gets thousands of retweets. tony replies simply with, people change ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
from then on he makes it a point to give a different answer every single time he gets asked something personal. in 2008 his favorite band was steely dan. he was paramore’s biggest fan in 2009. in 2010 he became the world’s first and most famous directioner. 2011 rolled around and he told some random reporter on a red carpet that he only ever listened to duran duran. then in 2012 he wore a black sabbath t-shirt and everyone figured out that was his “favorite” of the year.
then he meets steve. sweet, wonderful, thoughtful steve, who has finally built up the courage after four years of friendship and asked tony out. steve, who wants nothing more than to impress tony and show him that he pays attention and wants to make this work. although tony had told steve early on that he should never trust what he reads on the internet, steve is adamant about planning the perfect first date. he wants a second date. and a third. and a fourth. you get the point. he needs tony to know he’s serious about building a relationship together.
so he googles. he bypasses all the opinion pieces and the articles that are clearly from gossip rags or less-than-credible news sources. but he figures official interviews that tony gives should be fair game, right? and man, does steve find out a lot about tony and the things he likes. he figures out quickly what he should cook for dinner: singaporean chilli crab (people magazine circa 2009). he sets the table with the loveliest carnations he could find (reddit ama circa 2014). he queues up footloose to play on the tv while they eat a homemade chocolate soufflé (vanity fair circa 2011 and tonight show circa 2015). steve’s done the research. he knows tony will be happy he’s put so much effort into this night.
and tony, well. he doesn’t hate all of those things but they were never really his favorites. his real favorites? his mama’s carbonara. ac/dc. back to the future. sunflowers. but he doesn’t want to burst steve’s bubble. none of that matters, anyway, when he gets to spend time with his ultimate favorite person.
(steve finally figures it out when rhodey comes to visit one day with a box of tiramisu from the hole-in-the-wall he and tony used to go to in boston and tony lights up in a way that he’s never done when eating steve’s chocolate soufflé. he still keeps making the soufflé though, just to see if tony would ever confess)

imagine part viii
imagine: form a mental image or a concept
plot: you didn’t know what you were getting into when you turned your hobby into an actual career on f1. based on Lewis’ “imagine” tweet.
Tumblr media
Saturday May 7, 2022
"again"
All you wanted was to wake up believing yesterday was a nightmare that you couldn’t escape the grasp of. When you finally decided to check your phone, you were reminded that it wasn’t a nightmare but a reality. The numerous missed calls and texts only added to your stress because you hated others worrying about you. All the text read about the same “Are you okay?” “Please explain what happened?” “What’s going on?”  Thousands of thoughts ran through your mind reading the same messages repeatedly. There was nothing for you to explain, though. The video told it all; you couldn’t comprehend why people needed further context. If that weren’t enough, nothing you ever did would.
You scrolled through the countless missed calls and texts of those worried about you. It was time to face the music and calm the nerves of others, even if yours were through the roof. You didn’t have any energy to return phone calls because if the video weren't enough to even the ones who cared for you, nothing would do. You sat in a chair for minutes typing up a text that would be short but reassuring. You shook your head in frustration after typing up a lie. You could only hope that a lie would get everyone off your back. Almost instantly, replies were coming in. It was overwhelming, so you turned your phone on Do Not Disturb until you felt ready to talk again.
//
The walk through the Paddock was tense. You didn’t know if it was all in your head or if the feeling of people staring at you was happening. What caught you most by surprise were the looks from team members. You looked around, hoping to see a famous figure or just anything other than you that people were looking at. To your disappointment, there was not, only you and a few other people walking around, and they were also glancing at you. That trek toward the media center felt like hundreds of miles. "This is going to be a long weekend " was all you could think while heading towards the media center.
You could feel a sudden shift in the room as you walked in to find a seat. You couldn't tell if you imagined it, but it seemed as if everyone was further away from you than usual. And as you found your seat, it only felt worse. All the reporters’ reactions didn't surprise you; you knew the second you sent out that tweet, the dynamics would split even further. If their goal was to get under your skin, they were starting to succeed. You had to try and put it behind you because you had a job, just like everyone in that room.
//
Qualifying flew by, and the only shocking outcome from qualifying was the order of the top three; you expected it to be in reverse. If you could ever get to it, that was something you planned on highlighting in your post-qualifying article. Being overwhelmed affected your work. Pieces were now on the backlog, which wasn’t normal for you, and you hoped no one would notice. You watched Charles, Carlos, and Max enter the media center for their post-race qualifying interviews, but you could not care less now. You had no questions for them because you knew they’d give the same generic responses.
Get asked about Red Bull (even after qualifying first), have to praise them, then talk about your team. “They are extremely quick in straight lines. We are quick in the corners, and it will be a tight challenge tomorrow. And hopefully, we'll come back on top.” Or Carlos being asked if he’d finish behind his teammate because he’s ahead in the championship and has to say nonsense to avoid making a cheap headline. “No, the consideration is that we are teammates and that we want to score a one-two for the team independently of who is ahead or behind.” It was the same energy, just in a different country. You used that time to write about practices two and three.
You were about to publish practice two and three articles when your wrist vibrated. You looked at your watch to see Ashlyn had been calling you for the third time. You were so zoned out that you missed the first two calls. Friends and family knew not to contact you during press conferences, so you automatically assumed the worst. You quickly stood up and began heading to the nearest exit until a microphone was in your face. You hadn't realized there was a final call for questions, and your standing up made them believe you had one more. "Oh, sorry, I have nothing to ask. I have to take an important call," you apologized for the confusion.
"You hadn't looked up once since the drivers walked in. Can't wait to see what was so important," someone roared, causing the room to erupt in laughter. The words stopped you in your tracks. You looked around the room and found the person who made the statement. There were so many things you wanted to say but chose against giving them a reaction.
You just shook your head and turned to walk away, not before catching the puzzled looks of Charles and Carlos
//
You called Ashlyn back, worried something was wrong back home. “Are you alright? You’ve been behind on your work, and that’s not like you,” Ashlyn said after the first ring. Of course, she noticed, you thought. You explained the situation to her, and she did nothing but listen. Hours had passed in your mind, but your phone only showed two minutes on the call. "It will get better with time," Ashlyn tried reassuring you. "I am thinking so, too. Thank you for letting me vent again. I owe you. Tell everyone I love them. You too, of course. Bye."
"Wait, before you hang up, let me say one more thing," Ashlyn said quickly before you could end the call. You had a feeling where this conversation would be going.
"Yeah, go ahead," you said sheepishly.
"I only want what's best for you. Have you thought about taking a break or leaving? We miss you back home. May be right now, you're not cut out for this. I think this life is taking a toll on you. I see it, and strangers online notice the treatment. I love -"
You hastily cut Ashlyn off before she could finish. "Take a break? Not cut out for this? Do you know how hard I worked for this? If you truly knew what was best for me, you wouldn't try me talk me out of what I am doing. I can't believe you right now."
"That's not what I meant, and you know it. I'm sorry; please hear me out," Ashlyn pleaded on the other end.
"Oh no, I heard you- loud and clear at that. There's no need to apologize. I listened to how you felt, so now it's your turn." You said it in the coldest tone. A voice that was unrecognizable to Ashlyn.
"I put in twice the work than anyone in that room with me. It's easy to ignore when it's strangers online or people who, from day one, have a vendetta against you. I will not allow you or anyone else to discredit my craft. But from you, I would have never thought. Have a nice life, Ashlyn. Goodbye," were the final words you said to your once best friend before the call ended. You didn't even give her time to backpedal.
You were indeed on your own. Not only did those in the media room not believe in you, but you now knew your best friend didn't either. It was as if things kept falling as the hours went by.
//
It took you some time to collect yourself after that call. "Did I lose my best friend?" ran through your mind as you headed back to your seat. You were grateful everyone was heading out to the media pits to get a sport before post-qualifying interviews began. You had about 10 minutes of quiet, something you desperately needed.
At that moment, you finally decided it was time to check Twitter. To finally see the aftermath of yesterday. Nothing in your mentions honestly shocked you; people love drama at the expense of others' feelings. Of course, you gained many followers, some verified news personalities who previously would never give you the time of day. You opted to check your direct messages, something you rarely did, to see if people came out of the woodwork trying to talk to you. To the surprise of no one, there had been. It reminded you it was time to do the following cleanse once things calmed down. There was one name that stuck out to you: Lewis Hamilton.
"What the hell? We both have to be following each other for you to send me a direct message," you mumbled to yourself when you opened the message. You had to make sure it was him, so you clicked on the account. It was Lewis, with his profile saying Follows you. Your head started spinning when you looked at the message. He wrote, "I know this is unexpected, but I felt the need to reach out. I've seen the video and noticed your treatment in the media. I want to check in when you have a moment. Take care of yourself, okay?"
You couldn't believe what you read. Was Lewis making time to speak with me? Was the busiest man on the Paddock is checking in on me? But it wasn't just that direct message from Lewis Hamilton; it was someone finally asking, "how were you doing?" Everyone knew how kind of person Lewis was. His constant messages of reassurance and hope he gave others shouldn't shock you, but "why me?" is all you could think of. You were typing a reply before seeing the time. You had about less than five minutes before the pit interviews started.
//
You stood in the media pits going through the motions. Every driver that passed meant one step closer to leaving this Paddock. You were trying your hardest to look interested and engaged, but you didn't even have the energy to ask a single question. That all changed when the final driver arrived, Lewis. He knew of yesterday's ordeal, and his tone of answering questions made everyone painfully aware.
Listening to them stumble over their questions to not rock the boat brought you a little enjoyment. Even for a few minutes, they got to experience the pressure you had been battling for months. You let out a light chuckle that no one seemed to notice.
The questioning went quickly, per usual, but this time it was different. You could tell others had questions, but the guilt ate at them. Lewis' team PR person looked around the circle and asked for final questions.
“I have a question,” Lewis said. His words caused stunned looks from his PR person and media members; it was out of the ordinary. Lewis said your name, making everyone turn to face you immediately. Your heart rate rose when Lewis said, “What are you back there smirking about? Did I say something funny?” in a joking voice while raising an eyebrow.
Attention being drawn your way caught you off guard and you couldn’t think of a verbal response. So you tilted your head a bit and gave Lewis that look that people like you two universally understood. Your face reads, “You know these people are uncomfortable, right?” You watched Lewis quickly nod, “yes.” He was aware of what he had been doing the whole time.
“I’m just joking. I hope you’re well,” Lewis said in a now calm voice. The tension in the air eased for everyone else, but that fog formed again for you. “I am, Lewis. Thank you for asking again.” A glimmer in Lewis’ eyes and a slight smirk appeared after you said, “again.” Your response reassured him you had seen his direct message. “You take care of yourself, okay.” Unlike the direct message, Lewis wasn’t asking a question but telling you. His tone was that of someone who cared and would be on the lookout for you. You looked him in the eyes, nodded your head hesitantly, then watched as he walked away. You knew he didn’t believe you, and he was right.
Once he was out of view, you headed back to the media center. A nagging feeling you couldn't shake told you to turn around, and when you did, it was to everyone watching you, murmuring something you couldn't make out. You tried replaying the last few minutes, wondering what you said that could be spun. “Damn it,” you said to yourself, realizing where you made a terrible mistake.
//
You were about to open the door to the media center but couldn’t face them yet. You could only pray you were overthinking the situation and it would disappear. So you decided against entering and took a walk around the track, something you hadn’t done at previous races. Miami Grand Prix was beautiful, as you saw the sun beaming on the fake marinas. You had missed that electric feeling of what being a fan brought. Not having to hold back your emotions during races because you could look biased. At this moment, you wished you could skip covering the rest of the race weekend to live in the moment, but you couldn't. Or so you thought it was.
The longer you walked, the more your nerves mellowed. You would typically share your adventures with your followers via live videos, but you were trying to stay off social media. You were not feeling conflicted. Continue to avoid social media, neglect the interactions I built over the years, or suck it up and go live. The latter felt right because your audience didn’t deserve to be forgotten because of the actions of others. So you sent out a quick tweet: “Want to walk the Miami track with me? IG live in less than 2 minutes!” purposely leaving out your handle name.
You did little talking on the live besides occasionally answering where you currently were on track. To your surprise, the comments were all going well, and you believed no one had noticed your mistake. The sun was setting, and you left your sunglasses, which became your sign to end your live. You were about to do a sign-off when you heard two voices excitedly calling your name. You turned around and greeted the two girls dressed in Mercedes hats and shirts. You did not know how to react because this was your first time being recognized. One girl showed you her phone; they were watching your live video. The interaction brought you a joy you couldn’t explain.
“Aww, this is a first. Do you guys want to say hi to people watching?” The two girls quickly waved and dropped their social media handles, which you had no problem with. Of course, the handles were creative names that incorporated Mercedes or Lewis.
“I'm not beating these Mercedes allegations” ran through your mind but you didn't care in that moment. Two strangers being happy to meet you brought you so much joy. The girls asked for a photo, another first for you. Without hesitation, you agreed, placing your phone down and taking a few selfies. They were satisfied with the pictures and were about to walk away when one girl said, “Can I ask you a question?”
“Sure,” you nervously agreed, praying she wouldn’t ask what you were trying to avoid. “What did you mean about ‘again’ when Lewis asked if you were doing okay?” Your heart rate rose because of what you didn't want her to ask. She did. “It was nothing. Just check in on others, that’s all,” you stammered out, hoping it would be enough to please the question. The two girls could sense your discomfort and said, “I understand. I guess the internet was reaching. Thank you again; it was a pleasure to meet you. Take care of yourself,” the girl said as they both walked away.
You tried collecting yourself before remembering you were still live. You picked up your phone and said, “Sorry about that. I hope you guys enjoyed seeing the track. Until next time.” Before exiting the live, a comment caught your eye, “I was waiting for someone to ask about her saying again!"
//
All you wanted was a hot shower and to sleep; grabbing your belongings from the media room was the only thing stopping you. You didn’t have the energy to be bothered by anyone in the room. As you entered, no one seemed to notice you, so you could begin packing up without problems. It felt almost too good to be true… and it was. A woman who has never spoken to you tapped you on the shoulder. So you put on a fake smile and asked the woman, “Can I help you with anything?” The woman had a devious look.
“Can we sit down for a minute? I want to talk with you.” You nervously sat down with the woman, expecting some juvenile prank to happen. “First, how are you?” the woman asked, causing you to panic immediately. Something was up, but something told you to play along. “I am okay. Do you need anything from me? I am trying to head back to my hotel.” “I was just trying to get to know you and-”
“Bullshit, I’ve been here for months, and no one has attempted that. I’ll ask you one more time, what do you need?” You hastily cut the woman off.
“Okay, few around here were wondering if you and Lewis had a thing. When we, I mean they, watched your interaction earlier and were curious. Especially with your response. I am sure you don’t and would love to put an end to it all. Everything is off of the record, by the way. Just between us two.”
“Are you serious right now? Did you hear yourself? There’s no record.” You now spoke loudly for the whole room to hear. The woman was now shushing you to lower your voice but to no avail.
“I don’t appreciate you all trying to spin stories on me. Like everyone in this room, I have a job to do. There’s nothing for me to put an end to because there’s nothing there. I thought I left high school close to a decade ago.” You wanted to say much more but couldn't get the word out. You grabbed your bags and headed for the nearest exit. As you walked towards the gate, you knew a story would be written and had to get ahead.
You found a seat and began typing up what happened in your notes, fighting back the tears.
“Let me get ahead of this before things spin. A few minutes ago, I planned on leaving the media center to head back to my hotel. A fellow reporter wanted to ask me a question. I knew something was up but hoped to be proven otherwise. This woman was polite at first until she felt the need to say everything I said would be off the record, but there was no record. The woman asked if I had some personal relationship in the Paddock, which isn’t true at all. Someone finally treated me like a human, and the reporters assumed something was up. They are trying to create more false narratives. I know I’ll type all of this; still, people will believe what they want, and I have to accept that. Treating people with kindness is all I ask.”
“I am aware of the games being played. I am here to do a job and want the same respect I give everyone else, but I don’t believe I’ll ever see it,” you tweeted with screenshots of what you just typed. You debated on turning off the replies but left them on. You had nothing to hide and wanted to let people show their true colors.
“Whatever happens, happens,” you told yourself.
//
It was close to one in the morning, but you couldn’t stop scrolling through your mentions. Your image was being tarnished hour by hour. So you locked your phone and relived the last few days in your head. You wanted to blame someone, but you didn't know who. "Maybe this wouldn't have happened if I had followed the norm. I wouldn't be in this situation if I had kept my mouth shut on day one. What if Lewis never spoke to me?" “Lewis,” you remembered you never responded to any of his messages. You grabbed your phone off the nightstand and went to your direct messages. He had sent a second message just minutes ago.
You typed and deleted so many responses because nothing felt right. You didn’t want to appear emotional or fragile, telling Lewis how much his words meant. You didn’t want to make him feel guilty for being his genuine self. Yes, he’s human, but he’s still a highly profiled figure in F1, a sport you loved. He raced in the morning; the last thing you wanted was for Lewis Hamilton to be worried while driving 220KPH.
You debated not responding as you’ve done to so many others, but he deserved a response this time.
“No, I should thank you. I cannot convey how much I appreciate you for asking. It means more than you’ll ever know right now. I realize I cannot control how people try to spin an encounter. Whatever happens, happens. Please don’t worry about me, Lewis. Have a nice night ... well, morning. Also, don’t you have a race to prepare for tomorrow afternoon?"
You knew Lewis meant well, but it did not prepare you for what was coming your way.

If I Say It, Will You Respond? - Juraj Slafkovsky x OC
This is for @2manytabsopen as a part of @wyattjohnston ‘s summer fic exchange!
- I’m so sorry for making you wait Kesh, but this story went up and off the rails with Arber’s meddling (as big brothers do 🤣)
The story of Dinah and Jura is one that I definitely struggled with from an intimacy perspective. How do I make Dinah fall for Slaf without feeling like insta love?
Dinah Faye Clark doesn’t regret anything, actually almost anything. She’s gazing at her diploma on the wall, Bachelor’s in Media and Journalism from the University of Montreal.
“Another successful day of work finished. The article on the Habs blueline will go up tomorrow before the draft and hopefully that goes over well.” A soft *ping* goes off and Dinah sees a tweet from the Habs Twitter.
The Montreal Canadiens have the first overall pick for the 2022 draft. Find out more about what that means here. Link Here
Another ping.
The Hamilton Bulldogs are your 2022 Ontario Hockey League champions! They will advance to the Memorial Cup Tournament!
Dinah’s heart thumped as she saw the players raising the Ross Robertson Cup. She sees the Xhekaj jersey and smiles.
Proud of you, big bro. So proud of you, Arber.
Dinah and Arber hadn’t spoken in years, but the sibling bond they share was unshakable across country lines and team switches. When Dinah left for university, Arber stayed and went to the OHL. The first few terms were easy when he was with the Rangers before getting traded.
Everything almost fell apart once he went to the Bulldogs though. Texts were getting lost, calls never making it to voicemail and nights full of tears. They never held it against each other, especially once Dinah graduated and Arber was front row and dead center waiting for her.
Dinah didn’t have both parents, just an Aunt. Having a hands off guardian made her independent and headstrong, from getting on the yearbook and newspaper teams to starting her own blog about the Canadiens before her junior year.
Six years later, she’s a trusted source and media channel for the Habs. What she’s lost in affection and time she’s got back in a supportive network virtually and adventures embedded into her brain. She’s a storyteller, analyst and writer who’s damn good at her job.
When Arber was traded from Kitchener to Hamilton, Dinah struggled with giving space to Arber. Her feelings of being too much to be around drove her into distancing him. The championship brought them back together.
Dinah asked him where his mind was in an interview and suddenly the conversation got deep fast.
Draft Day
”The Montreal Canadiens are proud to select Juraj Slafkovsky from TPS in the Liiga!” Dinah watches the first overall selection stride down to meet the GM, President, and Head Coach of his new team. Her hand flies across her notepad faster than she can comprehend, really.
He’s soft. Teddy-bear like, but not weak.
Dinah dragged her eyes back down to her notes as she waited for the next team to select their draftee.
Someone might say Dinah fell in love that day, but Dinah felt something stronger.
She wanted to tell his story, again and again.
#
1. Juraj’s first game
Mullet Arena is tiny and too cozy, Dinah muses. Everyone seems uncomfortable, too close, intimate in a way that bothered them instead of coming naturally. The warm-ups were starting and as the lights came up Dinah noticed that just right along the opening where the players came out she saw something. It was him getting ready to take his rookie lap. Dinah’s heartbeat got heavy and fast. She got warm although she barely had anything on save for a coat. She couldn't stop staring as he made his loops round and round and the wide oval shape that the ice was. Loop, loop, loop. The sight of him taking his lap on the ice and then heading back off burned into her brain. It was somehow too much but also not enough. She wanted to see more.
2. His first goal
C’mon Juraj, stay on him. You’re almost there, do not let up.
Nearly 12 minutes left on the clock and he’s passing Arizona’s Maccelli and aiming. It misses. The sound of bodies hit the wall ring in Dinah’s ears. The shot is clear this time, now 11:43 left in the second period. He aims, and it passes Ingram. He’s scored his first goal. Jake grabs him first, then Arber and everyone else crashes into Juraj. His first goal has been made and Dinah is watching the ice.. A volcano of feelings screaming to rush out of them as Juraj fist-bumps the lines not on shift.
“His First of the National League, Slafkovsky!” Arber is right behind him, whooping and hollering with everyone else.
After the game ends, Dinah goes to their media availability and records most of the post-game conversation, asking some questions of her own and getting Coach St. Louis to laugh.
Then there’s Juraj, laughing and blushing. Dinah feels her heart stop beating for a moment, but she manages to ask one good question.
“You think this a good start to your career?”
Juraj laughs, and Dinah knows this feeling is more now, tied and infinite.
3. End of Season
It was a loss. Boston 5 - Montreal 4. Dinah had to hold back her tears when she saw the final score on her screen. Pasternak really shut the door on them. Her phone is a Roman Candle in a room of near darkness. She unlocks her phone and sends a text to Arber and Juraj.
To: Big Bro, Juraj
Hugs. god, I'm so sorry. I know how hard you both fought this season. Do you need me to come over?
From: Big Bro
You know where the key is, Dee. We wouldn’t mind company.
A new message pops up, just between Dinah and Juraj.
From: Juraj
I’ll keep the couch warm. You want to pick a movie?
Dinah comes over and slips her shoes off before shuffling over to Arber, resting her head in his lap. Juraj toddles over and shoves his head in Dinah’s lap.
“You’re a puppy dog, I swear Slaf. Needy baby.”
That made Arber laugh, Juraj turning pink as the movie started.
4. Arber, Juraj and Dinah hanging out before Juraj asks Dinah on a date
Dinah sat themselves down, fiddling with the ring on her index finger as she waited for the boys. Now that the season was truly over, exit interviews done, there was a tiny, faint buffer of time before everyone scattered for the summer.
“Baby Dee!”
“Arber!” They crashed into each other, squeezing tight as Arber lifted Dinah off the ground.
Juraj follows Arber, quiet as he blinks at Dinah.
“Can I?”
“I’m a hugger Juraj, it’s fine. C’mere.” He’s gentle and wraps himself around her.
“So, I hear you’re heading home soon?” Arber nudges Juraj into a corner, raising his eyebrows.
“To finish my schooling, yes. In a few days, but I want to ask you something. Dinah, would you join me for a walk? Nothing too —“
“It’s a date Dee, Slaf is just shy. Meet him at the park Saturday, hm? We both know you think he’s cute.” Both Dinah and Juraj turn crimson.
“HEY. I told you that in confidence you dork!”
“You think…I’m cute? Not just something Arber is saying to be funny?” Arber gets up, heading to the bathroom and the air gets still.
“No. He’s telling the truth. I didn’t want to distress you—“
Juraj grabs Dinah’s hand and squeezes it.
“I like you more. I remember…. I remember my draft day and you couldn’t stop looking at me and I couldn’t stop thinking about you writing wondering what was making you scribble so fast.”
5. Dinah and Juraj’s First Date
“Time with you is never a waste, Slaf. You make any day less gray.”
“Sunshine, the sun is telling me I make their days better. Follow me. I have a surprise for you.” Dinah links pinkies with Juraj and follows him down the path to a picnic blanket laid out with food.
“How in the… Jura how —“
“Arber. Said feeding you would be the best way to woo you. Love you.” Dinah squeezes Juraj’s pinky again, the sentiment sending butterflies through their spine. The blanket has a bowl of strawberries at the center.
“Sandwiches, lemonade and oh, oh I love fruit! Jura, I thought you don’t like strawberries?”
“They’re not my favorite, but you are. Sit, let me feed you.” Dinah shuffles herself between Juraj’s legs and lets her body relax fully into his chest.
The basket shifts closer to the pair, and before long the taste of strawberries breaches Dinah’s lips. Sweet, tart, and juicy. They stay like this, Dinah being fed til every last strawberry was gone.
“How did you know that you wanted to be a journalist?”
The question makes Dinah freeze. Their head tilts back to meet Juraj’s eyes, and Dinah smiles.
“I’m fond of telling stories, and the only way I really could convey it is by following other’s stories. I tried writing fictional stories but it didn’t stick. The only common thread my family seems to share is hockey, from the love of the game to the thrill of watching it. It’s the only way I know how to do what I do best. To show my love to the people in my life.”
To show love? Juraj takes a breath, eyes meeting Dinah’s. He tries to kiss them, getting their nose. Again, their forehead before Dinah tugs his face to hers.
“I still like you most.”
“You’re not right. I wanted to kiss you proper —“
Dinah kisses Juraj again, but deeper, eyes shutting closed.
“I see.”
“I hope so because you seem ready to explode.”
5. The Summer Haze
Juraj is going to surprise her. The box in his hands feels heavy, but after talking (and getting laughed by Arber) he’s sure this is the right choice.
Two steady raps on the door, and the door swings open to show a sleepy Dinah.
“You’re back early. What has you coming over?” Juraj gives Dinah the box and blushes.
“For you. I noticed the recorder was falling apart, so I got you a nicer one.”
“I like this. I like you.” It gets quiet for a moment before Juraj tugs Dinah close to him.
“I like you most.” A kiss to her head, her cheek and her lips.
“I like you most, Jura. Stop trying to one up me.”
“No. I’m always going to like you more.”
As Dinah pulls Juraj inside to cuddle, the thrum of her heart finally goes steady.

‘Outlander’ Star Sam Heughan Opens Up About His Experience With An Eating Disorder
Actor Sam Heughan has spoken candidly about the pressures of acting and their impact on body image, which ultimately led him to develop a low-level eating disorder.
BY JESSICA CAMPBELL | DEC 20, 2022
Tumblr media
Hollywood has been known to produce a memorable transformation, with the industry being credited for taking actors with otherwise average bodies and turning them into the kind of gym-honed physiques you’d expect of a Marvel superhero. But while Brad Pitt’s abs in Fight Club or Henry Cavill’s Superman body have been adored and celebrated as inspiration for those looking to get motivated for their own fitness journey, rarely do we pause to consider the impact such imagery has on our psyche and self-esteem. Even the flippant comment that “the camera adds ten pounds” speaks to the pressures of the industry, which so often are shouldered by actors with little regard for their mental health.
It’s something Outlander star Sam Heughan is now looking to address as he’s spoken candidly about his personal journey with an eating disorder. In a recent interview on the Today show, Heughan spoke about his rise to fame and other topics that are included in his new book titled Waypoints: My Scottish Journey, as well as the upcoming season of the hit series. But what struck audiences most in the interview was Heughan’s openness about his experience with an eating disorder which stemmed from industry pressures faced as an emerging talent.
Tumblr media
Waypoints: My Scottish Journey chronicles Heughan’s struggles as an actor as he looked to make it in a cut-throat industry. “I think as a young actor, quite green; not really much experience, there were a lot of pressures, certainly, starting off in the industry, that I didn’t really understand,” he expressed. “I think there was a certain body type that we were expected to have,” Heughan admitted, adding that “women talk about it a lot, but I don’t think men do, and I wanted to mention it.”
In 2019, it was reported that more than 360,000 Australian men live with an eating disorder. While Eating Disorders Victoria notes that women and girls are more likely to experience all types of eating disorders than men and boys, binge eating disorder actually has an almost equal prevalence. As Butterfly Foundation CEO Kevin Barrow expressed in a statement, “Body dissatisfaction is a pervasive problem with increasing impacts on young boys and men. We are seeing more young boys overvaluing body image, which leads to evaluating their self-worth based on appearance.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Heughan’s experience with an eating disorder has led the actor to establish his own foundation to help others struggling with body image issues. “That’s why I started my own charity fitness program. It was about education and about getting information to other people so they don’t face the same pressures,” he said. In talking about it, he also hopes that more men will feel encouraged to seek help and that as a society, we can remove the stigma that surrounds eating disorders, which are often seen as something that affects women and girls rather than men. But with the rise of body dysmorphia, men are just as susceptible and need to understand that help is available.
Viewers were quick to express their support for Heughan, while others thanked the star for talking so openly about his own struggles. As one person expressed on a YouTube video of Heughan’s chat, “I’m glad Sam opened up about his eating disorder many people don’t realise that men also suffer from it.” Another tweeted, “I appreciate the fact that you shed light on men feeling the pressure just as much as women do to look a certain way in your industry. It is something that isn’t talked about much. Kudos to your openness.”

Wasn’t it in late February, after the kissing incident, when Z went to Australia with JE, and met his family? I also think this was the time when she liked and unliked that tweet, when she was over there. Which also makes it worse lol
I remember reading an article about them when they got off the plane in Australia, and the paparazzi didn’t like JE at all, because he seemed to leave Z behind and carried on walking. There was also an interview she did while she was over there, and she didn’t seem like her normal self, she seemed quite miserable.
🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
I believe Z had already gone with him to Australia to visit his family in the latter portion of the year in 2019 based on what I remember. 🤔 And of course, Z had already met his family anyway cuz she gave that TommyxZ dress to his mom.
Idk girl, it's been so long ago now that I don't recall all of the facts.
But yes, when she liked that tweet she was with JE either in NYC with him still, or in Australia (can't remember which now). I'm sure I've mentioned it in my blog in the past back when the details were still FRESH in my mind lol 😅
I don't recall the paps nor liking him, but I do recall her looking kinda weird 👀 during that time, and her interview video for Vogue Australia(??) (not sure it was done in Australia though 🤔) had her looking a little woo woo if u know what I mean lol 😅
But yea, she just didn't seem herself at ALL, and I was a bit worried. Come to think of it, I've never seen her look that way in an interview ever again tbh. 🤣
I'm just glad that era is OVER with! 😂

What's your fanfic fantasy Part 1
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Premise: OFC + Chan + Jisung 18+ fanfic. Stayce has been friends with rocker Chan and his bandmates for ages. What happens when she goes on a work retreat with them and Chan decides to tease her about the smutty fanfic she read.
Kind of an AU (the guys are in a rock band), set in a seaside mansion. It's an sample of my longer fanfic on ao3 called "What's your fanfic fantasy?"
Warnings: This first installment has no sex (but the next is fully sex!) but talks about sexually explicit content, fantasies, references to sex and masturbation, explicit language, eventual threesome in next installment
I sit on the leather lounge really confused about how the conversation ended up here.
“So… “ Chan starts, “do you enjoy reading them?” he smirks as he asks this.
He is such a cheeky bastard.
He wasn’t talking about stories in the media, or news articles, or interviews. Nope. He was talking about erotic fan fiction. Smut. About him. About him and his rock band SKZ. And that I’ve been reading it.
I had known Chan for a long time. Years now. We met on a creative project. We’re musicians, and have often worked creatively together on and off for a few years. I was so excited when Chan invited me - Me! - to his holiday/work retreat home to work on a new project with him and a few of the guys from the band for a couple of weeks.
We are staying in this beautiful holiday home, more like a mansion really, on the coast overlooking the ocean. It’s a sight to die for.
Chan loved to work. He worked all day. He worked well into the night. He worked all the time actually. A workaholic. I wondered if we would get to let our hair down, and just hang out, which usually ends up with us bantering and laughing together for hours.
I didn’t have to wonder for long. It is my first day here, and it hasn’t taken long before we’ve hit “banter territory”. In fact it has now moved beyond “banter territory” and into some unknown, and quite frankly scary, uncharted territory, and we don’t have a map for this particular terrain.
Even though nothing has ever happened between Chan and I, and likely never will, we often seem to end up flirting. Hinting at things in a fun, non serious way. But never taking it further (although my mind has drifted much further than I’d ever admit).
Chan’s a safe flirt. Which means he makes me feel safe enough to push the envelope without a sense of awkwardness or feeling a need to take action or follow through. We seemed to just prick tease really.
It’s just fun and games right? Right? It was always… cheeky and lighthearted and absolutely never serious.
Until now.
I feel flustered and a little sweaty. I try to shift in my seat to get more comfortable and to ease the sense of my legs feeling like my circulation has been cut off, but the leather couch is sticking to my legs. I shouldn’t have worn a mini skirt. A uneasiness builds up inside of me.
I pick up my sparkling water from the leather upholstered chaise-slash-coffee table and take a big sip, biding my time before I answer.
We are sitting in one of the living areas that that has a big floor to ceiling window that takes advantage of the ocean view. It’s getting dark out there now.
Chan sits on a second leather coach to my right where he is waiting for me to speak. I bring my attention back to Chan’s question “do you enjoy reading them?”
We’d been talking about the fandom and some of the thirst tweets and naughty edits that are out there about his band SKZ, and somehow the conversation escalated into how I had read some of the fan made fiction about the group.
I wish I hadn’t even mentioned that I read smut. Why did I do that? I was only going to tease him about the situations, positions and activities that he and his band members have been involved in, fictitiously of course.
Unfortunately for me the teasing hasn’t had the desired effect, and the tables have been turned on me. Instead of making him go red, or teasing him about it, and having a giggle - in the safe zone of “banter territory” - I was the one blushing while his expression had turned dark and devious.
I look him in the eyes to see if I can read his thoughts.
He is still waiting for my answer.
He is still smirking at me. Fuck. This is so awkward.
“Well …?” he raises an eyebow. “do you enjoy reading them?” he repeats himself. I actually have to answer him then? What the fuck do I say?
I am not quite sure whether to give a lighthearted response and shift the conversation to something more… vanilla, or match him with the dark, sinister vibe. Or I could just be honest and nonchalant, and act like it’s no big deal. Yeah I’ll go with that. I’m an adult after all.
“Well, yeah I do actually.” I say matter-of-factly, completely disregarding the dark look in his eyes. I think I’ve come off calm and unaffected by his energy, but on the inside I am burning up with embarrassment, or is it shame? Or something else?
I want to hide. I realise I am holding my breath and I do my best to exhale gently and calmly.
Chan puts his drink down, a simple coke, on the coffee table-chaise and sits back on the leather couch. His skinny ripped jeans are so very tight and his legs are parted a little bit too wide for polite chit chat. How fucking rude! He’s playing games with me.
It surprises me when I a feel dull ache in my thighs and pelvis. I want to be pissed off at his confidence, not turned on. Why does this dark energy seem so alluring? This isn’t the Chan I’m used to. I have a feeling this situation is going to become less polite by the minute. I’m not sure how it’s going to pan out, but I am terrified. Or am I? I can’t quite tell if this is terror or anticipation, or …arousal?
He brings a hand to his chin as though deep in thought, rubbing his fingers against his lips, and not taking his eyes off me for even a second. Then he nods his head as if he has just made a decision with himself. Is he is having as much inner dialogue as I am right now?
“Tell me more?” He coaxes, his voice is low and deep.
Tell him more? Shit. What am I supposed to say? That I lay in bed reading about how he and his best friends suck each other off and rail each other in the ass? And then I touch myself over it as I imagine I am there actually watching it? Or that I imagine each of them inside of me while the others watch?
Is that what he wants to hear?
I cross my legs hoping the tension will go away, but all it does is intensify the feeling.
No, absolutely not. This is too far. I can’t tell him more. I won’t tell him. It’d be too… vulnerable. Intimate. I shake my head.
“No,” I start. “I don’t think we should keep talking about this.” I sigh and I look at him pleadingly. But the look in his eyes tell me he isn’t going to let this slide. And part of me doesn’t want him to either. If I am honest, I am scared, embarrassed and want to run and hide, but part of me does want to tell him, to confess to him, see his reaction. What would he say? What would he do? I wanted to know. I needed to know.
Despite my resolve to say nothing, I open my mouth ready to blurt it all out anyway.
“You’re right.” Chan cuts me off, and some of that darkness shifts from his eyes. He grins his cheeky fucking grin at me and I feel that sense of kindness and friendliness he has return just a little bit.
But..
My heart sinks. Why do I feel disappointed?
“It’s none of my business what you enjoy reading”. He chuckles filling his glass up with more coke. “I didn’t mean to make you feel awkward. We can change the subject.” Chan leans forward to peer closer to me, the room has gotten so dark and only a few lamp lights are illuminating the room in a soft glow.
“I’m sorry.” now he has the pleading eyes. “I was just curious, you know?” He leans back again. “This is kind of an area that I don’t know anything about you in”.
“Chan,” I exasperate, “It’s normal for people to NOT KNOW other people’s fantasies!”
I clasp my hand over my mouth. I’ve said too much.
“Fantasies? No one mentioned fantasies.” He’s caught me out. Chan’s devious eyes are back but it’s coupled with a devious grin too. Doubly dangerous. “Hmm..” he pretends to ponder “so let me get this straight. You read the dirty fiction and then fantasise about it happening to you? Or..” he takes a sip of his drink. “you make up your own little scenarios of my boys filling you up and fucking you senseless?”
“Chan!” I am shocked at how accurate his accusation actually is. And equally shocked how my body is responding. I’m thankful it’s dark because I’m pretty sure my nipples are rock hard. I’m also thankful he is hasn’t outrightly asked if I fantasise about him.
So much for changing the subject.
“Do you?” he knows he almost has me admitting everything to him.
I tip my head back and let out a sigh.
“Fine. I’ll tell you more. Then you can fucking stop being so pushy and move on.”
Chan claps his hands together excitedly. “Right then”, he says and excitedly shuffles over a little closer to me. I feel like I should get him some god damned popcorn.
“You’re right. I read the stories, I touch myself, and I imagine my own scenarios.” I flail my hand around in some weird gesture and try to keep the explanation as minimal as possible, surely he doesn’t need to know actual details.
Chan waits for me to elaborate. Apparently he does need to know more details.
I roll my eyes. “And yes, I imagine them filling me up and fucking me senseless”. I finish.
He looks satisfied that I’ve admitted it, and proud too, like his boys had actually had sex with me and that it was somehow thanks to him. “Except..” I start. What am I doing?
Chan looks at me curiously. “Except? Except what?”
I hesitate but decide to continue. “Except, even though he is so fucking hot and he’s the best drummer I’ve seen, and so very sexy, and his lips are just delicious, no matter how hard I try, and even though I want to so badly, I can’t seem to envision Jisung inside of me!” I confess.
Oh my god, what did I just say?
I look to Chan to see what his reaction is. He looks amused but mildly distracted. His gaze keeps shifting over my shoulder ever so slightly even though his attention and words are directed at me. It’s shitting me a bit, especially after admitting something so personal. What, am I boring him now?
“So what you are saying is,” he focuses his eyes back on me “that you can’t picture Jisung fucking you?” He smirks and leans back against the back of the couch resuming the confident lazy posture he had earlier.
I could swear he’s hard, his pants seem a little too tight and I can see a bulge protruding, fighting against his pants. But it’s too dark to really tell and perhaps my imagination is getting the better of me. I wonder what it would feel like to straddle his lap and grind against him, to make him harder and to relieve this tension building up in my body.
“Do you want to?” Chan jolts me back to reality, his attention is one hundred percent back on me, but something feels off.
“Huh?” I stare blankly, taking my eyes off the bulge in his pants. Is he a mind reader now?
“Do you want to be able to imagine Jisung fucking you?” he repeats casually. Casual but dead serious.
Do I want to imagine Jisung fucking me? I consider what might be the thing getting in the way of me being able to picture it. Is it that he seems so young and fun that I can’t see him taking charge and being aggressive, and maybe that’s what I’m into? I can’t really put my finger on it. All I know is I do want to imagine Jisung inside of me, fucking me. Well yeah, of course. Who wouldn’t? How was admitting it to Chan going to help?
“Yes,” I declare anyway. Really! What am I doing?  “and it’s so fucking annoying.” I add. My throat is so dry, but elsewhere I’m beginning to feel a little wet.
Amusement washes over Chan’s face and his eyes dart over my left shoulder again. I get a sense that something isn’t quite right.
I swallow hard even though my throat feels like a hard lump, but before I can do or say anything, Chan leans in close to my right ear. His breath is hot against my neck and cheek. Fuck he’s close. Fuck he smells good.
I hold my breath waiting for Chan to speak. He lingers for what feels like forever.
“Jisung thinks that’s so fucking annoying too.” It was barely a whisper. He pulls away from my ear and gestures behind my left shoulder. “Don’t you, Jisung?”
My heart suddenly pounds so hard I think it’s going to fling out of my chest. My jaw drops and dread begins to take over me. I feel hot and dizzy. I snap my head in the direction of Chan’s gaze only to be met with Jisung standing in the doorway. The dread intensifies and I’m filled with shame and I want to hide.
Fuck.

Well, well, well...
The day after Amber Heard settled the appeal case against her, Lainey posted the following paragraph in her end of the day links.
Tumblr media
The first link is to the Pajiba article on AH’s bullshit.
The second link is to a tweet by Christopher Bouzy of Bot Sentinel, a tweet from 20 May 2022.
Tumblr media
Bouzy must be referring to his interview in Harry & Meghan as one of the “documentaries.”
How much does Lainey get paid to link to this bullshit? She pulled out a tweet from more than six months ago on this.
It’s really rich that Lainey of all people is supporting Amber Heard given that she had a blind item about Johnny Depp avoiding Amber Heard back in 2015. (I’m not going to link to Lainey’s site, I’m going to link to the random ass blog that cataloged her shit instead.)
WHY HE’S SLEEPING ON THE COUCH
Before it happened, his friends were begging him not to do it. Begging him not to make it permanent. But he was in too deep, and a little wounded too after his most recent professional setback. So it happened. Despite all the warnings, he went ahead and made it official. But the happily ever after wore off really quickly. It wore off a long time ago. Which is why while he’s working, he’s also hiding. Of course he could stay in luxe accommodations all to himself. Instead of sleeping in a hotel suite that they most certainly have the budget for though, he’s on his buddy’s couch. His best buddy. The one you’d think would approve of his relationship. But even his best friend thinks his girl is crazy. And understands why he’s decided to hide out, where it’s not so easy for her to find him. Which, apparently, happens all the time. She’s obsessive about calling around, looking for him, haranguing anyone she can to ask where he is, what he’s doing, why he hasn’t texted her back. Two sources confirmed to me that she’s been delayed on set a few times because she’s been shouting down the phone at someone in her trailer, demanding they track him down for her. And so, at a time when they’re supposed to be celebrating, he’s far away, enjoying his freedom for a few weeks. Is this what it’s going to be for a lifetime?
March 2, 2015 at 9:16 AM
But, sure, Lainey, go ahead and pretend as if you didn’t hear and write about Amber’s terrible behavior before the divorce. Please continue gaslighting your audience about you being an independent writer, when you’re really a pr shill now.

(a submission from @wormholeprophet ) FYI it seems like DeSantis didn’t kidnap that kid and the kid talked extensively about shooting up his school and stab people to his peers online? I’ve seen a lot of retractions from people who were reblogging this story recently.
I'm not crazy about the header the OP of that post, @moonfrosttheelf , used. I just reblogged with the most recent tweet from Rebekah Jones at the time. I did not think that reblog of mine would go anywhere since the only posts I share that gain any popularity are those of my cat.
Anyway ...
Her kid was arrested. That is true. If I was the mother of an autistic teen, and this happened to me, would I use the term 'kidnap'? Unsure. I don't have kids on purpose and can't speak to that.
It seems her son is back home with her.
Things do seem fishy with how all this went down.
Here's the link to the Miami Herald article about this situation. What the Yahoo article you submitted to my account, @wormholeprophet , doesn't talk about is what I've bolded below:
The boy was interviewed by sheriff’s deputies on March 23 and shown the memes, which he acknowledged sharing, the report said. The youth is not being named to protect his privacy.
One meme — part of a viral series — pictures a brain with intrusive thoughts about grabbing an officer’s gun, knowing that the result could be fatal. “Every time I see school security,” the boy wrote when he sent the meme, according to the warrant.
Authorities say he also posted another meme described in the warrant as “an individual with a shaved head holding a Hi-C drink. The message on the meme was “I’m feeling so silly I might shoot up a building full of people.”
He told the deputies at the time he had no plans to do anything, they noted in the report. A deputy told his parents it seemed like a “teenager” thing before leaving without making an arrest, a video of the exchange showed. Deputies did not question him about the more disturbing social media posts attributed to him in this week’s arrest report.
It’s unclear whether the deputies were aware of the messages, which were uncovered by a warrant to search his Snapchat account. The messages listed in the warrant involved threats of violence, including attacks on schoolchildren.
Feb. 9: “I want to shoot up the school.”
Feb. 12: “If I get a gun I’m gonna shoot up hnms lol” — an apparent reference to Holley Navarre Middle School, which the youth had previously attended.
Feb. 12: “I always keep a knife on me so maybe I’ll just stab ppl.”
Feb. 12: “…I have no hope in getting better, so why not kill the losers at school.”
An unredacted version of the warrant, obtained by the Herald, shows the threatening messages were sent by a username that was different than the one Jones’ son used to send the memes.
The document does not say how authorities determined both usernames are linked to the same account. The redacted version circulated by authorities does not reveal that there were two different usernames involved.
Jones provided a screenshot of her son’s account, which showed he changed to his current username in January, before the threats were made. She said he has never used the handle associated with the threatening messages.
Is the other username actually her kid or is it a plant? I don't know. Is this kid truly troubled and a danger? I also do not know.
I'd be interested in reading the unredacted warrant myself because the Yahoo article is very loosey-goosey with how they phrase things, specifically this - "The teenager told one of his friends that he planned to shoot up the school the Thursday before Spring Break but there were too many things going on so he postponed it until March 31."
Is there additional proof to back this up? Is the character of this friend on hyper focus like it is for Rebekah Jones? How much of this statement from the "friend" is speculation and how much is verifiable? Is the message from the account Jones is saying is not her kid's account?
I do wonder about the raid that was performed on their house by Florida agents when he was 11. I wonder how that act and having guns possibly pointed at him then at such a young age affected him. It seems he's gone through additional trauma, according to Jones's post on substack [x]
As for the raid, here's a link to what I'm talking about, if you are not aware [x]

To be honest, his latest twitter activity was less traumatic than the one on Halloween and reading comments here across another larries, most of them look like they are satisfied with his responses? I read his tweets when was like 4:30 am when I woke up and couldn’t fall asleep but I didn’t find it bad but also because of the time I wasn’t thinking much about what he wrote and if his response was really what he was asked about. We were expecting something much worse, F mentioned only once (and it was expected), no yelling at larries with another denial.
Reading your answers, one would think he’s horrible person who has problem with understanding the text or just doesn’t get his fans anymore but you also wrote that Louis_Tomlinson is not Louis Tomlinson and so I still believe he’s good, non problematic person. I don’t know why he’s doing these chats with fans but then there’s probably a reason why his bf is staying away from social sites at all and doesn’t do proper interviews anymore because his latest appareances - answering question at Venice festival & that horrible stunt article for RS caused more damage than Louis’ misunderstanding his fans and acting he’s drunk/stoned laddy lad.
Hi, anon!
I don't think the chat was as bad as some feared either. It was as i predicted. One F tweet, but no larriebashing and the rest was to confirm the narrative and his image.
I think it's important to distinguish between Louis' twitter persona (his constructed image) and who he really is as a person. It can be really difficult to differentiate between them sometimes. What are traits, behaviours and attitudes he's showing that is attributed to him by his team/Sony to make him seem the most attractive and interesting to his target group? And what are the traits, behaviours and attitudes that's down to his personality and who he really is?
I don't think Louis is a rude person, i don't think he'd be not smart and brag about his drug to his young fanbase, i don't think he's a father or hates larry conspiracies. That's the impression he gives off on twitter though. I do think he's lost touch with the going ons within his fanbase to some degree. That's not just based on his twitter, but his handling (or lack thereof) of the Asian tour cancellation and the Jakarta show complaints. It's due to bad PR management, but Louis is usually on fans side when it comes to things like this. Now he's not. He's a busy man and it can't be helped, and he can't keep up with the discourse of the day, but he should have a team to help deal with that part. The result is that it creates distance between him and us, and worst case he's loosing fans (or at least not gaining any) over it.
Louis and Harry have different images, that's why H is off social media. He's supposed to be too pretentious and fans are being too mean for his tpwk personality for him to set his foot there. Louis needs to show his presence there to keep his bond to his fans (because of his image). I believe H is way more present on his burner account than L is. If you'd ask H and L what oomfie means, H would know and L wouldn't.

CHRIS & ABBA’S LATEST STUNT AND THE CLASSIC DIVERSION TACTICS USED BY PLANTS/TROLLS…
Recap of latest events
Trolling that Chris and Abba might be seen at the Oscars…
A tweet from an insider saying he met them…
Sidenote: given the promotional nature of his tweet, I will let you decide what you think of him…
Tumblr media
The release of pictures of Chris and Abba who went to a party last night. (Was it a UTA party? CAA? It’s still being debated.)
Articles are shoved down our throats... (but Kudos to TMZ for cropping her out of the pic…)
This latest stunt was to be expected…
After their stunt at the Golden Globes early January when they were “seen” at the UTA afterparty (pics with Mads Mikkelsen), it was to be expected that they would do something very similar for the Oscars because let’s be honest they keep recycling the same boring stunts over and over.
Also his last Con appearance was not that successful and didn’t bring him much publicity. It only seemed to translate into good PR for… Marvel.
Yesterday, articles came out talking about how “anxious” Chris is to have a baby with his wife. Again those articles were meant to serve him and not her. No hungry, thirsty 25 year old actress wants to send the message out there that she can’t wait to get pregnant. He is the one that put so much emphasis on his (dog) dad persona, who tweeted he would make an anxious parent after dropping Dodger for his surgery, who said recently during his interview on The View that he would spoil his kids. Children are part of his rebranding as a family man.
So it’s no surprise that a stunt would happen to serve… her. And this one we got is just that. She needs to be seen. And look she just got herself another Just Jared article...
Tumblr media
She gets very little out of this contract outside of this kind of attention and it hasn’t translated into work opportunities for her as of now.
Classic manipulation tactics used by various Plants/trolls...
Some mods will refuse to acknowledge the elephant in the room and might bring up all sorts of unrelated topics to distract from this latest stunt. It might be about stuff happening in the industry or food or anything really. Some other mods will distract with pointless discussions about her not wearing her ring while he does wear his, where the party actually took place…
All of these are classic manipulation techniques that are used for misdirection.
Some mods likely want to distract from their own lies as they have been pushing that this shitshow was about to be over, that the Medium article was super credible and so forth… They also might soften the blow of Chris still taking part in these PR games.
Again I suspect, this stunt is long-term. People saying it’s about to be over are lying to keep fans engaged. It will be over when it‘s over. But you usually don’t get married for only a few months. Unfortunately.
Again those lies are meant to distract from the truth. So let’s spell it out. Chris & Abba’s shitshow is still going strong. There is no end date in sight just yet, despite the silly stunts they pulled recently. Chris is not an hostage despite looking like one as this PR serves mostly him.

Hear me out. My big ass stupid theory of it all is:
Netflix split the season in 2 because they thought whatever happens in the last 2 episodes will be a shock for straight people. So they decided to make it easier by having pride month in the middle and 'hinting' at Byler until the 1st of July, because they knew some people just won't see it until it happens. They are softening the impact for the heteros because they are so accustomed to Disney bullshit not giving the lgbt community it's place, they needed to pause the show for a second before it screamed BYLER RUGHTS. but still sent their social media guys and even Noah to give the heads up. Look that it's Noah commenting not Finn because i believe Finn really commenting on it would create a huge havoc and backlash because he is the one in the middle.
Your guess is really as good as mine about all this. I read an interview with the Duffers the other day, where they say that Netflix approached them with the idea of splitting it, and they chose to do it after episode 7 because it ends on a sort of cliffhanger, and is the end of the second act of the season, so it made sense to split it there narratively.
Regardless of what their thought process was, it really is a convenient time for them to ease the general audience into the idea of byler by posting more about it during the hiatus, especially since it's pride month (idk if this was intentional but still a good coincidence).
As for the stuff with Noah, he's been liking byler edits and saying he ships it for a few years now, but I'm wondering why he's suddenly going in head-first all of a sudden with that tweet and stuff. A cast member who is one half of said ship openly supporting it is a good way to introduce the possibility of it genuinely being a possibility to the general audience, although a part of me is wondering if it's damage control after the fiasco following the "up to interpretation" article. Either way, him and Netflix will probably get attacked a bunch if they post all that and it's not canon.
(all of this is even more sus, since they almost never actually post about byler the way they do about other gay ships like ronance and elmax which - while I adore both - doubt they'll actually become canon. it always seemed weird to me that they didn’t because romantic or not, byler is one of the most integral relationships to the show. it has a lot of evidence supporting it and that's why they mightn't have been posting about it until recently)
