Clark is taking Kon and Jon out for a classic, super-style bonding flight. Just a quick jaunt around the US and back!
They don’t get far. Somewhere in Illinois airpace, they run across another family.
The three (a hulking man, a snarky teenage boy, and a cackling youngest girl, each a grayscale blur in the blue, blue sky) throw neon-lit beams of energy at one another, quips and insults flying almost as fast as they do. It looks like training. It looks like fun!
The boy of them looks like a younger version of the man. Exactly like, even. Clark is familiar with clones.
The youngest, a girl, looks like both of them, but not quite. Perhaps she will, age sharpening her childish features, but it’s hard to say. More likely, she’s the man’s daughter.
Interested, Clark introduces himself to Dan. He seems to be a hero in his own right, even if Superman’s yet to see him in action. And it’s not often Clark sees a family so like his own!

Now I get it. Anne Shirley was right; sometimes pretending you’re an exiled princess fallen from her state or a wealthy criminal who’s decided to take a minimum wage job to evade detection IS the only way to get through the work day

some of you guys have got to stop calling your art styles "inconsistent" like it's a bad thing. you mean flexible? adaptable?? why would that not be smth you're proud of, imagine all the things you can draw bc you're not limiting yourself
i hate social media for teaching artists to brand/market themselves at their own expense and twisting perfectly natural artistic qualities into smth "bad.” variety is literally the one thing i strive for in my art, use your "inconsistency" as a learning process instead of viewing it as a fundamental flaw. it's art, enjoy yourself

I love that Akechi had this carefully curated personality that like,,,fell apart once he got a crush on Joker. He still kept up the facade to an extent but he really couldn’t hide what a weirdo he was. Joker’s a weirdo too though so it worked out.

36 years later, 2022
Extra doodle and headcanon:
Been thinking about Mike and Will getting married on impulse in 2021 because when they wanted to get married during their 20s, they couldn’t, and by the time it got decriminalised, they just didn’t care enough. They were basically married anyway. But on Will’s 50th birthday, he just looks at Mike, who cooked him an elaborate birthday dinner and goes “I want to be married to you.” And Mike (being Mike) immediately says “Let’s do it. Next week.” And the rest is history.
