In Shigaraki's psyche, Izuku saw a memory that's neither his nor Shigaraki's, and that memory is actually AFO's.
It's from 1st person point of view, in there, AFO seems to be acquainted with Shigaraki's Father, and AFO apparently worked in construction in Koga city (idk what 甲賀建設 Exactly means, but 建設 means construction or establishment, and 甲賀 is a city in Ibaraki Prefecture, and it's pretty close to Shizuoka Prefecture, where Izuku&his mom live)
Then AFO invited Shigaraki's Father over a drink, and asked about Shigaraki's quirk, to which his father said it still hasn't appeared/identified yet
You know what this means???
AFO must've LIVED A NORMAL LIVE sometimes to get acquainted with Shigaraki's Father while also monitor him!! Due to his connection with Nana.
And AFO asking about Shigaraki's quirk can either means he's monitoring if "Decay" has developed OR if Shigaraki can be GIVEN "Decay" later on.
This might also indicate that AFO also acquainted with Shimura household as a normal person, and if this shadowed figure with suits whom looked like AFO is indeed AFO, then it must've been like a family friend escorting the son back home
Anyway, AFO finally came out of Shigaraki's suppression, now we can see some Izuku and AFO interaction and maybe a confirmation about the validity of DFO theory!!!!
*it's also suspicious Izuku still DIDN'T GET TO SEE AFO's full face even from AFO's memory
**out of context, but AFO in his memory asked if Shigaraki's father had a lower back pain, and offered to introduce him to a good doctor, and i can't help but think "lol, it's just gonna be dr. Garaki isn't it? And he probably gonna order Garaki to do something to the only son of Nana" and the fact that AFO spoke to Shigaraki's Father SO POLITELY/using keigo (敬語) is weirdly nice, I'd like to see him speaks normally FULL FACE
***the irony of the villain who wrecked havoc in the country, might also once worked in construction of all places. Though it can be reasoned with "in order to destroy thoroughly, one must know how to built"

Chilcille huh... ngl I was a little suspicious. like why would you do that, huh... hope youre not mischaracterizing anyone in your weird and wacky ship. a little weird. but then you said they both had flat asses and you know what? I salute you and your perfect characterization
The fact you seem to think you managed to not make this ask insulting is baffling. What the hell. Fuck off.
If you actually care to be open minded about the ship, I talk about marchil on my sideblog 24/7. Funnily enough I’m currently 4k words deep into an analysis of their character arc together in canon, but that’ll take some more days to get done. Some notable posts:
Of course without counting the analyses of Chilchuck on his own I’ve made, like my masterpost on his family situation. Or better yet you could also read my fics for them, see how weird and wacky they are here.
Wanna talk about mischaracterisation? They’re literally a comedic duo who interacts 24/7. Marchil is crazy bc ppl are like "did those shipper read with their eyes CLOSED?? They have no chemistry!" Meanwhile canon is like:
"She’s obsessed with knowing everything she can about him and she reads him like a book." In her eyes he’s like that extra rare and hard and shiny unlockable dating sim character, that brooding mysterious character trope that’s thrilling to crack open and typically is at the center of the plot. The wife roleplay????
"Hey, did you know his type is blondes. Hey did you know he likes his women pretty and blonde. Hey did you know he likes her hair. Hey did you know that he teases her 24/7 and it’s one of the few things that consistently gets him grinning because he finds her reactions cute." Like a schoolyard bully pulling on the pigtails of the girl he likes.
It’s not like they have any thematic narratives or relevance. It’s not like she’ll live to 1000 and has existential dread about it while he’s logically gonna be her next friend to die at 50 and wether it’s romantic or platonic it’ll terrify her to lose him. It’s not like it’s fear of death x fear of rejection so they’re both obsessed with the thought of loss looming, past and ongoing. It’s not like it’s half-elf x half-foot and there’s an inherent journey that was and still is to dispel prejudices and truly come to see each other. It’s not like he’s painfully real and raw and flawed but still a good man, that he’s not the figure of prince charming that she’s always dreamed of while still being virtuous and worth fighting for.
Just a weird wacky ship who means nothing but shallow things to people who have weirdo reasons for liking it. Like can you not. If you’re not imaginative enough to think of reasons why this ship may have an appealing dynamic that’s not my issue.
But yes, yes, they’re both flat asses to me, thanks.

Hellooo Pom! How are you doing? Hope you are doing good!
I was thinking of a Katie x Shy!Reader maybe how they met and how they got together.
🦝
hi racoon!! i’m doing good :D how are you?
‼️RPF‼️
BLURB - katie x shy reader - first meeting (short)
- shy!reader and katie meeting at a botanical garden. hear me out. katie gives me vibes of someone who likes plants so reader works at a flower garden and katie sees them and is like 👀
- shy reader who has a massive green thumb and is willing to give small tours around the big gardens but there wasn’t many people there today so you gave katie a one on one solo tour
- katie listening to you ramble about the different flowers (idk why but shy reader gives fluttershy from my little pony vibes) i can imagine reader going like “sorry- i was talking too much” and katie’s like “go ahead honey i like it keep going”
- the two of you walking into this pretty enclosure with some seats and both of you just sitting and enjoying the view and katie’s like “sorry i didn’t even tell you my name” both of you introducing yourself.
- brownie points if shy reader wearing overalls as uniforms and has their little lgbt / lesbian pin and katie’s like 👀 and its june so pride month katie’s like in her head “ a win for the gays”
- katie striking up a conversation like “what’s your favourite flower?” and reader goes into dept about their favourite flower and what it represents and shows katie to where they are planted and katie’s like “they are pretty. not as pretty as you though” or something really cheesy and she’s grinning but shy reader is blushing like mad their head is like that spongebob meme
- reader being like “we’re about to close up.. how about i give you the rest of the tour tomorrow?” and katie’s like “oh? is that as a date?” and reader is like ‘shit shit shit’ wondering if they read too into it
- katie being like “i’d like that. maybe we could go for a coffee after. talk more?”
- how they got together though is very cute 😭 it was shy reader who actually asked katie out believe it or not!!!
- she got a bunch of flowers together ones that represent hope and love and asked katie to meet them at the cafe they went to on their first date 😭 and proposed
- katie wasn’t expecting it at all so it kinda made her tear up a little. it was just so cute and honestly so sweet. one thing about katie is that flowers don’t last forever. so she ends up pressing the flowers that you gave her and keeps them in a small box for memories

Ok so people have been asking the (most recent) FS AU simmering in the metaphorical kitchen, so buckle up y'all:
The Knights' Lodge is a small quaint hotel in Castletown, a small seaside town on a small isle at the outskirts of Hyrule. It's owned by the elusive elderly Sir Clancey, a country gentleman who these days rarely leaves his property.
For the most part, the Lodge is ran by Mr Arn Irvine, the General Manager, and his son, Link Irvine. Due to the many Links employed at this Lodge, Link Irvine is mostly known as Irvine Jr. He has grown up as an only child, with no mother, and due to his father's working hours, the Lodge feels more like home than their actual home.
Irvine Jr.'s closest friend is Link Douglas, nicknamed Les. Les is a few years older than Irvine Jr., has studied cooking, and is the feared Head Chef of the Lodge. Outside of rush hours, Les is fairly amicable. He currently lives in a small flat over the local bakery, and tends to bring in left-overs for the managers and receptionists.
The receptionists are Link Corcoran and Link Dunn (nicknamed Cor and Dunn, respectively). Cor mostly manages the Lodge's online presence, while Dunn welcomes guests, keeps track of day-to-day finances, and handles enquiries. Cor and Dunn have been living together since Dunn's mother died some months ago, and nobody is entirely sure if they are dating or not. They doubt they would get a straight answer, even if they asked.
Into this arrives Link Clancey, Sir Clancey's oldest grandchild. Link Clancey is a city-child, has recently finished a degree in arts, and isn't entirely sure what to do with his life. To get away from his mother and step-sisters for a bit, he goes to stay with Sir Clancey for a few weeks during Christmas, and gets a job as a receptionist at the Lodge. A slow romance blossoms between Clancey and Les, though Les refuses to admit it and Clancey is somewhat oblivious.
Because Clancey has greater things to worry about.
In addition to being a recent graduate and receptionist at the Knights’ Lodge, Clancey is also one of the five Heroes of Hyrule, commonly known as Red. Together with Blue, Green, Vio, and Shadow, Red protects Hyrule against threats from the Dark World, but he can only do so with the help of his Moon Pearl. Through a powerful enchantment, his Moon Pearl makes him unrecognisable to even his closest friends and gives him the power of fire. Sometimes Red wonders who his fellow Heroes are, but revealing their identities to each other could place their individual friends and families in danger if one of them is compromised.
So Red tells himself that he is perfectly happy risking his life for Hyrule, alongside people he only knows the basics about: Green is quick and witty, and has the power of wind; Vio is sharp and intelligent, and has the power of earth; Shadow is clever and tricksy, and has the power of time; Blue is short-tempered and protective and brave and prefers summer showers over winter ice and —
Alright, so maybe Red has a crush on Blue. A big heart-wrenching crush that refuses to go anywhere. But he can't do anything about that, because he can't know anything about Blue — not even his real name.
So Red doesn't think about it. He works at the Lodge, befriending Les, Irvine Jr., Cor, and Dunn, and when he's needed, he slips away and becomes Red, a Hero of Hyrule.
Uncoloured illustration of Link Clancey/Red:

In my constant brain rotations of “why are people in the west so hard on mecha aside from the fandom can be a bit unfriendly” I think one thing I realized as much as I hate to say is how mecha is sometimes treated remind me of the constant hatred superhero stuff gets.
It’s such a weird comparison because with mecha I do not know what the root of it was-and I’d love to know why but I feel there’s either no clear answer or there is one and it’s stupid-where as for superheroes in the west while there’s still a dedicated community the mainstream audiences have become tired of them due to over-saturation, which I understand, but it’s caused such a massive dismal to the entire genre of it much like mecha.
People think superhero stories can’t have any substance because it’s all about fighting and not about the characters- yet forget the SIGNIFICANT impact they had to so much pop culture. How superhero stories were rooted within comic popularity, how superheroes inspired countless of stories, even so far as reaching japan since so much early anime was taken off of western media which birthed its own genre of superheroes. It’s no different to how mecha help started up the anime industry making it one of the most important genres to japans history, yet most people don’t know it and belittle it.
Yet in superhero story cases it’s even WORSE when people are against it yet then go to see one superhero movie because it’s animated and put it on a pedestal and don’t bother to try other superhero content even though they consumed is no different from the norm. It’s the exact same shit when people watch eva and then think all other mechas don’t compare to it, when the genre always had darker, mature and emotional elements, just only a select few decide to canter to a audience who doesn’t even accept what genre it’s from which makes it all the more frustrating to deal with.
I’m someone who’s hardly into superhero stuff even if some of it catches my eye but it sucks to see that the situation is pretty identical to how mecha is seen, that I can’t help to feel sympathetic whenever I see some comic book fans upset at the mainstream audience even if they too can be a little hostile.
