In Legend of Korra there was a thing where getting possessed by a spirit would leave you permanently mutated and/or disfigured with remnants of what that spirit looked like. (There was a guy who got possessed by a tree spirit and we later see a guy get possessed by a lemur guy.) My point is: There are various rumors that the Bats are either spirits or have been possessed by bat spirits in the past and it left some very scary marks.

Yeah during the flashback episodes to avatar Wan we see a couple spirits do the body possession thing including raava which it's revealed that's how the avatar came to be she stayed in Wans body for too long and their spirits combined although apart from vatu I'm not sure if we see any spirits in korras time do possession thing so not sure how many people would be aware that spirits can do that

Did anyone else romance Gale and encourage him to get back at his abusive ex only for Tav x Gale to end with the exact same dynamic as original Gale x Mystra??? Bc when I say my tav (and I) were GUTTED when Gale said tav could be his chosen (but not join him in godhood), when Gale brushed off Tav's fear that he was dead like he didn't care at all, and the very last thing Gale said to my tav was something along the lines of "It's dangerous for a mortal such as yourself to behave so coldly towards divinity like me" after expressing that Gale was no longer the man they loved just---pls ignore me crying screaming throwing up. IM SAD.

And other companions who my tav loved perma-died. No one was happy. All of the docks scenes HURT.

Trust me when I say my tav spent the party hugging Halsin bc they didn't know what else to do :( my tav became a hero at the cost of his own happiness and tbh I would expect nothing less from them.

It’s late and I’m bored so I’m gonna address the Rae villian arc cause that’s been going around on here lately…

Rae, as much as we would love to see become totally unhinged and tear down the world that has done him so wrong, is highly unlikely to have a villian arc in canon.

In season 1 mans literally had a goddess tear everyone he cared about apart in a million different, horrible ways. And what did he do? Worked himself to exhaustion because he blamed himself for not being smart enough to foil her.

In Season 2, his body was being taken over by not one but TWO goddesses who had no regard for his safety or well being or the well-being of those around him. And what did he do?? He isolated himself and turned inward, once again blaming himself for his inability to solve the problem.

Even in season 3, after he literally almost died in the finale and thought he lost everyone he cared about save his brother and the world sisters, he still turned inward. He still blamed himself when he lashed out at Centross. He still put himself through life-threatening experiments on the off-chance it could save everyone.

Time and time again Rae Morningstar has proven he is unwilling to blame anyone but himself for anything bad that happens, even those that rightfully deserve it, and that is one of the most important ingredients to a villian arc. The only two people that he has been able to hold anger against for a long enough period of time to do something significant with it have been Perix and Enderian. And even then, he still didn’t go out of his way to cause harm to them.

As satisfying as it would be to see Rae turn outwards and lash out at those around him, respectfully, if he hasn’t done so by now, I don’t think he will.

#Now this does not mean that villian arc Rae doesn’t make an excellent AU idea #I love villian arc Rae #but I don’t think it’s going to happen in canon #it’s just really out of character for him imo #but I still love it #and think he deserves one #💯 #fable smp #rae morningstar #heyhay13

Made a cute rainbow/multicolor sketchbook with stiffened paper binding and some scrap pieces of canson mi-tienes and fabriano tiziano papers! Hopefully even the dark blue pages will work for colored pencil (since the paper is meant for that as well as pastel and such)

Had some fun using up these scraps and playing around with this binding method again, and getting to make a usable sketchbook even tho I don't have the 'right' paper at the moment was nice ^.^
