Father's Day
“So, hold on a minute,” Iskall held his hands up, “back up, because I must have missed that. You’re a FATHER?”
“Well, yeah?” Jevin shrugged, scrolling through his comm, “What’s so hard about that to believe?”
Iskall, by way of a reply, simply gestured at Jevin’s person from his head to his slimy feet.
“So? Okay, yeah, I guess it- is a little hard to fathom. I do, uh, have a certain- aura of coolness around me. But yeah, no, I’m a dad. And a damn good one, too. I mean, a slime-dad, which is a little different than a regular dad. But for a slime-dad, I’m top-shelf. Of course.”
“Uh-huh. And how does a slime-dad differ from a regular dad?” Iskall folded his arms.
“I don’t gotta, uh, chase after my kids as much as you guys do. They’re pretty much ready to go once they hit full-size. I do my bit by checking up on them periodically. Anyway, point is, I gotta go. My kids are throwing a father’s day bash, and I can’t be late.”
Iskall rubbed his temples.
“Okay, couple questions. One, father’s day was three months ago. Two, is there a Missus Jevin you’ve got stashed away somewhere? Or a Mister Jevin? Or-“
“…Why would another person be involved?” Jevin asked, tilting his head with a squish of slime, “Like, literally, why? Who needs help to become a parent?”
“…Uh…you know what? No. You want to learn about the parrots and the bats, go talk to Keralis.”
“Sure, whatever. Anyway, to answer your second question, it’s ‘cause if you try to do father’s day on the actual, like, day, renting a big enough hall is stupid expensive and it’s all just kind of dumb. And a hassle. So we host it whenever.”
Jevin glanced up from his comm.
“Wanna come? Meet my kids, I mean.”
Iskall rubbed his forehead.
“Sure, why not. Hit me with it.”
They tapped their comms together, and Jevin clacked his jaw together- the slime equivalent of a smile.
“Okay, so uh…All my kids know you guys as their aunts and uncles. So if they start calling you “auntie Iskall-“
“-Yeah, yeah, I know. I’m used to it.” Iskall nodded, “Should I wear something special?”
Jevin waved a hand.
“Nah, don’t worry about it. You’re fine as you are. Anyway, let’s go. Not good to keep my kids waiting!”
And Jevin tapped a few options on his comm and vanished.
<iJevin has left the game.>
Iskall shrugged, tapped over to his server list, and selected the option for the Hub, with the teleport coordinates visible in the centre.
He tapped it, and vanished.
<Iskall85 has left the game.>
When Iskall opened his eyes again, he was standing outside a colossal building, looking like some kind of conference centre. It was made of smooth quartz, with a fake parking lot full of fake vehicles that had clearly taken some builder a long time to put together.
Jevin was standing there, tapping his sneaker impatiently, the blue slime slosh-slosh-sloshing against the ground.
“Alright, c’mon, let’s get moving.” Jevin huffed, “We’re already a couple minutes late, and my kids worked really hard to put this on.”
“I’m coming, I’m coming…” Iskall muttered, brushing off his pants and following Jevin towards the doors.
Iskall was assuming that Jevin’s family would have set up a few tables in a corner. He was a slime; and the way Jevin was talking, Iskall had assumed a big family. Maybe ten kids? That would be a pretty big family.
Then Jevin and Iskall stepped into the conference hall.
“HAPPY FATHER’S DAY, DAD!”
Several thousand slimes bellowed all at once, a wall of sound so deafening that Iskall could feel his bionic eye nearly shake out of its housing.
He blinked his one eye, darting it around the room in shock. There were hundreds of small tables around which sat an unfathomable number of slimes in all colours of the rainbow. The room was a riot of wild fashion choices, and a deafening rumble of clattering bones and squelching bodies.
“I- I-” Iskall stammered, as he reached up and tightened the nut holding his robotic eye onto his skull’s mounting post.
“HEY EVERYONE!” Jevin shouted back, “THANK YOU!”
“Is that Uncle Iskall?” a deep voice said eagerly, “It’s so nice to meet you!”
“You have…THOUSANDS…of children. Not ten. Not twenty. Not even a hundred. THOUSANDS.” Iskall stammered.
“Yeah. I’m, uh, the father of all slime hybrids. It’s not a big deal, to be honest. Some other slime would’ve absorbed a skeleton and decided to think about itself if I hadn’t.” Jevin shrugged.
“All. Of them. ALL OF THEM.” Iskall clutched his head in his hands.
“Yeah? It’s not that difficult. You just, like, shed some slime on a large enough pile of biomass, it’ll grow into a kid. How is this so confusing for you? That’s probably where humans come from.” Jevin shrugged.
He rubbed his slimy hands together with a hideous squelch, and started traveling through the room, eagerly greeting each and every one of his kids.
Iskall staggered over to the snack table, piled high with compost, cinderblocks, and beer. He popped a bottle, and started chugging it.

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡ how i think fratboy! satoru is, coming from a sorority girl little; smut, hook-up, minors dni, dui, 2.4k, unedited
out of everything to look forward to, syllabus week may be number one when it comes to college, however to you it was a sensory overload.
alpha chi’s house at this point was filled with a sea of bodies, hot bodies, all swept away in the same wave of freedom and cheap beer.
the air was thick, with that unique brand of pre-game energy that only a red Solo cup can navigate through, and the bass from the self proclaimed dj in the frat, was so loud that you could feel it making your ribcage shake to its rhythm.
even though you felt a headache coming on, from the amount of pregame shots, white claws, and literally every other drink offered to you during the tailgate, you refused to lean against the wall, as they were practically sweating—with every surface sticky with a sheen of spilled drinks and the ghosts of a thousand parties in the past.
slipping away from the thumping chaos of the party, you sought refuge in the frat's kitchen—a sanctuary of sorts. leaning against the cool expanse of the counter, you took a moment to breathe, to really see the crowd for the first time. and there he was, weaving through the sea of bodies with an ease that made it seem like they parted for him alone—gojo satoru. his approach was almost cinematic, the kitchen light catching the bold declaration on his shirt, "i totally don’t dig Kappa Alpha Psi girls," the white lie he decided to choose to go along with for this night’s party theme.
gojo closed the distance between the two of you with a shit-eating smirk on his face. "what sorority are you from?" he asked, a question that hung in the air, almost rhetorical, because the glint in his eye suggested he already knew. your chuckle bubbled up, light and almost disbelieving, "are you seriously asking that?" the words tumbled out as you took a sip from your Solo cup, the red plastic a stark contrast to the moment, as you look him up and down—specifically at the sorority he has displayed on his shirt.
placing the cup back on the counter, you turned, arms crossed, looking up at him making direct eye contact—causing his smirk to deepen.
“i saw you on emi’s story," he admitted, causing you to wonder which photo specifically he was talking about. but from the way he was looking at you, you could tell it was the one before the tailgate, where both you and emi took a mirror selfie together. and with the way you were posed, it revealed that your skirt may have been way too short with the way it rides up you. but before you have the chance to talk he mentions her again, “i was talking to emi, asking where’d you be but i found you!”
“you were looking for me?” you toss back.
and his grin lights up, although it may be the beer in his system, “the party’s getting kind of dry,” he starts, “i gotta go get some beers.”
his invite is low-key, just a nod to the door leading out of the kitchen. "you wanna come?"
you volley back with a smirk, "sure you're good to drive?" he’s quick with a grin, "yeah, the liquor store's just down the block, unless you prefer walking.” he teases. you shake your head, passing on the walk, tagging along to his ride instead.
he follows you on the way out, and as the two of you walk you feel his arm slither over your shoulder, steering you both through the night's chill—bringing you close to his side as you guys walk to the street.
as you two walked side by side, you tossed out, “how’d you know i’d be here with emi?”
but the outside air for some reason hits you harder than you expect, and you feel as though the world is spinning just a tad faster than usual, your senses dulled by the warm buzz of alcohol that makes everything feel like you're underwater. gojo’s voice cuts through, "actually, I was checking your location on snap," and it feels like it should mean something, should elicit a reaction, but your brain is too soaked in booze to unravel it.
you nod, the motion a bit too enthusiastic, almost signaling him in the moment prompting him to lean in, looking at you concerned. "you feeling okay?" he asks, and you can tell he's looking at you, really seeing you.
"yeah," you manage to say, a hand going to your forehead as if to quiet the thumping bass line of your headache. "but I think my head is just pounding from the music."
“we should get into the car," and you know there's more to that sentence, but the thought of moving too quickly seems like a recipe for disaster.
the car ride is a blur, details smeared like wet ink on paper. you remember the rush of cool air, gojo’s hand reaching out to roll down the window, a concession to your queasy stomach with the AC turned off. the world outside moves in smudges and streaks of light, barely making out what’s happening outside through half-lidded eyes.
when the car halts, there's a gentle lurch that has your brows knitting together—causing a spike of pain to surge through your head.
"just stay in the car, i’ll be right back," he tells you, hearing him close his door and beep the car lock.
true to his word, it's not long before you hear the trunk pop open, and the clinking of beer bottles as they settle into their new space. gojo reappears by your side, his presence comforting you without even trying. "hey, can you open your eyes for me?" he asks, the concern in his voice almost tangible. "i have some tylenol and water for you.”
you hold out your hand for the pills, and take them immediately, to which he quickly opens the water bottle and helps you drink the water.
“good girl” you hear him say after you pull back from the bottle. but you don’t process what he says until after he puts that car into reverse.
his arm stretched out, draping against the back of your seat, as he looked over his shoulder to reverse. he turned on his carplay this time, and of course, like any other guy you’ve been with at a frat, he’s playing brent faiyaz. the song WY@ fills the silence of the car, and he stays uncharacteristically quiet, but you’re just assuming it’s because he’s being considerate of your headache.
rolling up near the frat house, the party’s still more lively than ever, but the parking situation's a whole other story. gojo’s scanning the curb, his expression a mix of 'are you kidding me' and 'of course this would happen.' "what the fuck…” he curses under his breath, “there's no parking," he says, and it's almost funny, except not, because walking in heels is no joke. "my bad, we might have to walk a bit," he admits, with this half-grin that's all charm and no apology as he glides past the house to a spot that's definitely not close. and you remember that gojo satoru is indeed a frat boy, but you didn’t mind amusing him.
as he parks, he only turns off his engine, allowing for his carplay to still play. again, the song that’s playing is another one you know all too well, coming down by the weekend, but you have to admit that although his music taste is frat-like, he does have the better of it.
“do you want to stay in the car for a bit?” he asks you, already making himself comfortable in the car by taking his seat belt off and reclining his chair back a bit.
“yeah, sure.”
“your head feeling better?”
“yeah.”
it goes on back and forth with small talk for a little bit, until he finally leans in to kiss you. it began off slowly, as his hand trailed up, to the back of your neck to further deepen the kiss. you allow yourself to ease into the kiss, allowing him to take the lead. he leans back further on his seat, slightly opening his mouth, allowing you more access slipping his tongue into yours—making you reach for him over the console, to which his free hand slithers behind you, making you crawl over and sit on his lap.
his lips are bitter, unlike the sweet syrupy drinks you’ve had at the party. making him even more enticing than he already is.
“satoru,” you gasp as a large hand comes up to grope your breast. gentle fingers rubbing against them. he hums at the sound of his name escaping your lips, as he squeezes them tighter.
“get in the back seat,” he tells you, unlocking the door beside him with one hand. you nod your head, and he catches your lips again with his own, carefully guiding you out of the car and into the backseat.
“just lay down okay,” he instructs.
“okay.” you scoot yourself back in the car, laying down slightly against the other side’s doors.
“your skirt is way too short.”
“you like the view don’t you?”
“yeah.”
he gets down onto the floor, pushing your legs slightly apart. he teasingly runs his hands up your thigh, stopping suddenly, making you whine just a little.
“is it okay if i eat you out?” he asks you, and you nod your head in agreement, not wanting him to know how badly you wanted him to. ravenously, without any hesitation, he slides your thong off from under you.
“fuck,” he breathes a chuckle, looking at the slick covering your cunt, “i’m gonna have fun with this.”
a million thoughts are running through your head, but you can’t keep a steady focus as moans spill from your lips as he begins to eat you out.
his mouth is hot against your pussy, licking up the length, and sucking on your clit.
“you like it like this, right?” he asks, pulling away, using his fingers circling your clit in slow, coordinated motions. legs shaking, you nod, but it feels like he already knows that like he already knows your body after playing with it for weeks on end. you can feel your lower abdomen tighten and he could tell too, sliding two of his fingers in to hit your sweet spot.
“cum in my mouth please,” he teasingly begs, looking up at you with his blue eyes as he laps around you.
you couldn’t stop the moans falling out of your mouths as you reached your climax. riding out your orgasm against his tongue, he was quick to slurp up all of your juices, taking extra care to make sure you were clean—giving you a final kiss against your cunt.
time stood still for you, as you watched him as he took off his shirt, looking at him in awe with the way the small bits of moonlight look, cascading onto his body. maybe it was the alcohol, but you were at a loss for words right now.
he smirked at the expression on your face, leaning in to give you a peck on your lips, “i’m gonna slide my dick in now,” he mutters.
breaking the silence, and your dazed state, with his use of the most chivalrous words. you kept your legs spread open, watching as he rubbed the bits of precum over his length, sliding on a condom he pulled from his back pocket.
he teases you, letting only his tip inside of your cunt, sliding it out rubbing your slick up and down on your lips.
“please…” you moan, as he continues to tease your cunt.
“please what?”
you almost roll your eyes at him, but in desperation, you whined, “please fuck me satoru.”
causing his smirk to deepen, slowly sliding his cock through your wet folds. you shudder at his overall length, with your back arch against the patent leather seats as he gave you no time to adjust, thrusting hastily into your hot cunt.
“you’re so tight…” he breathes, he reaches an arm underneath your thigh—gripping it to spread you open more, but to his luck, you become tighter around his length.
“fuck…” he groans, going slower in bigger thrusts, “i wanna be nasty.” he manages out in between heavy breaths.
“i wanna be real nasty baby,” he repeats himself.
you try to make out a “what” through his pace, but end up looking up at him with furrowed brows.
“i wanna cum in your mouth and mix my cum with yours,” he hastily says, giving you no time to process until he starts thrusting into you harder again.
your head is a mess, and the only thing you're able to do is moan and say his name. he pulls out of you, not letting himself feel your orgasm for the second time, pumping his cock in his fist.
you look up even with almost pleading eyes, as thick ribbons of cum fall against your tongue. and in an instance, he leans down again, feverishly kissing you, having your tongues intermingle with one another.
“you’re so hot,” he mutters, “so hot.”
suddenly, the shrill of his phone ringing interrupts,
“fuck,” he groans, pulling away from you, looking over at his phone in annoyance, “who the hell’s calling?”
as soon as he picked up the phone, you could tell from the other line that he was furious for some reason. as the other end of the line continued, gojo’s hand absentmindedly brushed up, fingers gliding through his hair to sweep away the strands matted to his forehead with a sheen of sweat.
"yeah, okay” he uttered nonchalantly.
“who was it?” you asked, sitting beside him on your knees.
“check your phone.” to which you looked at him puzzlingly. reaching over to the passenger seat, you picked up your phone, to see the hundreds of calls you got from emi, with her calling again.
with your phone buzzing, you're already crafting your apology, the words spinning out like you're unraveling a spool. "sorry, emi," you start, voice threaded with sincerity but light like you're not about to let this hiccup ruin the night. you explain the ride situation, promising to be back at the sorority before 11 am. gojo couldn’t help but let out a snort that's more amusement than derision. his lips press a fleeting kiss to your cheek—half teasing, half tender. you lean into him, with his arm over your shoulder as his hand rubs against your arm in a pity attempt of sympathy in the moment…

Together
Word count: 1.4K
Summary: you’re live-streaming when your girlfriend decided it would be a great idea to interrupt your stream
Warnings: none, just lots of fluff <3
Pairing: Jenna Ortega X Fem!Reader
First Jenna Ortega one shots! Hopefully you’ll like it 🤍✨
———
You opened twitch for your usual live stream that day. It was close to Christmas so you didn’t expect many people. However you had lots of followers so even though many of them were busy, there were still the usual supporters that never left your side even during the most boring lives. “Hello guys and welcome back to my channel! Today we’re going to play a bit of Valorant, I’ll be doing some games on my own but then I’ll play with you guys so hopefully you’ll get the chance to play with me!” People loved you so much, you were really good at that game and would beat everyone, but they still loved to try.
The games were going by smoothly of course and you’d Always win. There were times when someone would almost beat you, but you always had the best of it. You were about to start another game when you heard a knock on the door to your room. “Hold on guys someone’s at my door” you pushed the button to shut the mic, only you didn’t actually press it snd it stayed open. “You can come in!” You said taking your headphones off, smiling brightly when you saw your girlfriend poke her head in the room. People in the comments started freaking out “OMG IS THAT JENNA ORTEGA” “SO THE RUMORS WERE TRUE” “I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU TWO ARE ACTUALLY TOGETHER” and so on as you two spoke.
“Hi baby” you said turning around to talk to her “hi love, I was making pancakes and I was wondering if you wanted some?” She asked in a cute voice as she pouted, and you smiled even more at her. “Yes of course. Maybe we can eat them together when I make a break here?” You said and she pouted even more “okay baby. But can I get a kiss?” She said as she walked in the room slowly. “Yeah of course, just let me shut the camera off-“ you then turned back to your screen and took a brief glance at the comments, only then realizing the your mic was open the whole time. “Have I been talking this whole time with my mic open?” You asked as you blushed, putting a hand over your mouth as you laughed. In the meantime Jenna was dying of laughter behind you.
“Stop! Oh my god this is so embarrassing-“ you said and covered your whole face as you laughed, and Jenna behind you too was now crying of laughter. Then people in the comments started asking Jenna to stay. “Oh my god- okay let me read the comments” you said as you tried to calm down from laughing so hard. “Jenna, people here are asking for you to stay and join the live with me, do you want to?” After a bit of convincing her, she nodded and you let her sit on your thighs. She was so light after all so you didn’t even feel her weight. “Okay guys, we’re gonna stop with the game now as we have a new special guest. If she agrees too you can ask us some questions” she nodded and you rested your hand on her thigh and the other one on her waist.
“I want that kiss though” Jenna said as she looked at you and pouted once again. You loved when she did that so you smiled at her and moved a strand of hair behind her ear before placing your hand on her cheek and pulling her in for a short, sweet kiss. You were now aware that at this point both of your fans would be taking screenshots, but both of you didn’t care. They had to be sure of your relationship at some point. When both of you pulled back you smiled and looked at each other with heart eyes before moving your attentions back to the stream.
“Okay so, let’s start with the questions” Jenna said. it was no use for you two to wait for them as there were already thousands of them. Though you shut the mic for a second, this time making sure that it was actually closed. “Babe, are you sure you actually wanna answer questions? Aren’t you tired of all the interviews?” You said as you lightly caressed her thigh with your thumb. “Yes I’m sure honey. It’s not actual interviews and I love replying to the fans’s questions. And they’re your fans too, so I’m more than pleasured to answer them!” She said smiling at you brightly and you nodded, turning the microphone on again and reading the first questions.
“Are you two actually together?” Jenna read “well yes, it’s almost two years actually. We never made it public before today, but it was pretty obvious” she replied and looked you once again with heart eyes. “How did you two meet?” You were the one reading this time. “Well I was in the recording crew in one of her movies. I was the only girl her age so we got along pretty quickly. Though I never expected that I’d get to be her girlfriend. It was something unexpected for the both of us actually but we’ve grown really fond of our relationship and it’s the best one I’ve ever had” you said and Jenna couldn’t help the smile that made the way on her face.
“Are you finished shooting for the year?” Jenna read. “Fortunately yes. I’ve come back home to be with her and my family so I’ll be here until the end of January, because then I have to start shooting again.” You pouted at that and she noticed, giving you a couple kisses “we’ll still call and be in touch baby don’t worry” she said and you nodded cutely before reading another question. “Does Jenna ever spoil you the movies she’s filming?” You read, and Jenna immediately started laughing because you already knew the reply you’d give. “No not at all! That’s not fair though, because at times I help her revise the scripts and she doesn’t tell me what the movie talks about and it’s so frustrating!” Jenna kept laughing “stop it!” You said and laughed lightly with her as she held your hand and intertwined your fingers.
The interview went on with some more questions until you got hungry and decided to go get the pancakes. “Baby I’m gonna go make the pancakes, you okay here?” You asked and watched as she nodded and kissed your cheek. When you got up she sat down on your chair and put your headphones on. You thought about how cute she looked, and then you went to make the pancakes. The whole time you were cooking you heard her respond to questions and even start conversations on her own. When you were finished doing pancakes you walked back in the room and after positioning the plate on the table you hugged her from behind, arms around her chest as you placed small kisses on her neck. She immediately smiled “the pancakes are ready honey” you whispered and gave her some more kisses.
After you ate the pancakes and replied to some more questions, you decided it was time to end the live and when it was closed you scooped Jenna up in your arms and threw her on your bed as you started tickling her, watching her squirm around and laugh. God you loved her laugh so much and you’d spend your whole day listening to it. Eventually after a while you stopped and crawled on top of her, kissing her gently on the lips, but when you were about to move to her neck she flipped you over and smiled at you. “Decided to take control?” You whispered and smiled at her, and then she started kissing on your neck, gently biting it as she left hickeys and you both ended up “cuddling” into the night.

‘The Hair’s’ Hair Care
Inspired by this post by @babyboyargyle about Steve touching Eddie’s hair. I just wanted to write some fluff about these two getting together.
**************
Eddie wasn’t an insecure person. It was something that had aggravated his bullies to no end. Any attempts at what they had thought would be obvious insecurities for Eddie had done nothing. They were all met with a cocky grin and a “Is that the best you’ve got?”, which infuriated them further. Eddie took great pleasure in infuriating bullies.
No, Eddie wasn’t typically insecure, but since he and Steve “The Hair” Harrington had started flirting in earnest, there had been a few… Self-conscious thoughts that had been floating around his head. It was irritating. Eddie wasn’t insecure, but he really liked Steve. Sometimes he just… Worried. It wasn’t like they were together or anything, but Eddie found himself caring a great deal what Steve thought about things.
They were sitting at the back of a movie theatre, the kids all scattered in the rows in front of them, and Eddie very aware of Steve’s arm draped over the back of Eddie’s seat. They were whispering their quiet, playful flirting. Steve’s fingers started playing with Eddie’s hair before he… He fucking recoiled.
“You okay, Stevie?” Eddie whispered, alarmed.
Steve was making some… Face? Disgust maybe? A thousand panicked thoughts raced through his brain, but he couldn’t remember what he had just said that could have been so bad. Surely nothing that different from their usual flirting, right?
Steve pulled back his arm, holding it almost protectively away from Eddie.
“Dude, what the fuck is wrong with your hair?!” Steve hissed.
Eddie blinked at him.
“...What?”
“Your hair! Why does it feel so dead!” Steve made an exaggerated face that Eddie would normally find hilarious, but he was still so taken aback by what Steve had just said.
“You… You’re upset about how my hair feels…?” Eddie asked, trying to wrap his head around what was happening.
“Uh, yeah! What products are you using? Because they clearly aren’t working for you…” Steve was inspecting Eddie’s hair now, tutting disapprovingly. Eddie opened his mouth, but had no idea how to even respond to that. He turned back to the movie.
A few seconds passed, but he felt Steve’s eyes on him intently. He tried to ignore it, realising that of course hair was a big deal to Steve “The Hair” Harrington.
“You wanna fix my hair don’t you?” Eddie asked without even turning to Steve.
“Please!” Steve said, like he had been bursting to say it.
Eddie laughed quietly, and looked at Steve out of the corner of his eye. Those big eyes were looking at him pleadingly, hopefully, and well… Eddie was a sucker for Steve. So he sighed, resigned, and waved his hand dismissively.
“Fine. But only once!” Eddie conceded.
Steve leaned into Eddie’s shoulder with a victorious smile.
“Oh, trust me, you’ll be begging for more,” he whispered smoothly.
Eddie felt his stomach do a flip, and grinned back at Steve.
“Is that a promise?” Eddie asked, leaning his face leaning towards Steve.
“Oh, absolutely,” Steve replied, “you won’t want me to stop.”
“We’ll see about that.”
~
A couple of days later Eddie was at Steve’s place. The Harringtons were out of town, which meant Steve had the place to himself, and he could invite Eddie “The Freak” Munson over without anyone the wiser.
“I hope you’re ready for the one and only time you get to have your way with my hair,” Eddie said, folding his arms.
Steve smirked, gesturing for Eddie to follow as he climbed the stairs.
“I’m gonna change your life,” he said confidently. Eddie scoffed.
“Huge claim to make, you better be able to deliver Stevie.”
Steve hummed confidently as he led Eddie to the bathroom. Eddie froze in the doorway. The Harringtons had a huge bathroom, but that is something Eddie had expected. What he hadn’t expected was a huge bath with two chairs in it, with various bottles lining the edge of it. There was even a large jug of water and multiple towels set up.
“Is it too late to back out?” Eddie asked.
“Yup! Take off your shoes and roll up your jeans,” Steve said as he was rolling up his own.
Eddie sighed and did as he was told, also pulling off his jacket. He sat down in one of the chairs in the bath, directed by Steve. A very soft towel was placed over his shoulders, and Eddie started to feel those insecu- no… Concerns, creeping back in again. The striking different between his world and Steve’s world was always there, but it hadn’t been wrapped around his shoulders until now. Just a towel, and it felt so different.
Eddie wondered if this was something the rich kids did pretty often. Pamper each other and do each other’s hair. It felt odd.
Steve was still fussing around the room, when he brought a boom box into the room, sitting it by the doorway, and put on a tape at a soft volume. Eddie had expected Steve to play some disco or new wave music, but he was pleased to hear that it was rock music. It felt like a compromise Steve had made, and Eddie smiled to himself.
Steve finally settled himself on the chair behind Eddie.
“Are you comfortable?” Steve asked softly.
“Uh… Yeah, yeah,” Eddie replied. He felt a bit awkward, but it was too late to back out now. Steve had got all this ready for him.
“Good,” Steve sounded pleased, “tilt your head back for me and keep your eyes closed.”
Eddie did as he was told. Steve cupped a hand over the top of Eddie’s hairline as he poured warm water over his hair. He filled the jug of water from the bath tap beside them a few times, making sure Eddie’s hair was soaked through properly.
“Let me know if this hurts at all,” Steve said.
He picked up one of the products, shampoo, and lathered it through Eddie’s hair.
Eddie felt a tingle go up his spine as Steve gently massaged his scalp and hair. For a moment, he was almost embarrassed to admit how nice it felt, but after a while, he felt his whole body begin to relax. Even the occasional tug when Steve’s fingers found a knot didn’t bother Eddie.  Steve hummed again, this time in approval.
“You beginning to enjoy yourself already?” He asked teasingly, but his voice was still soft.
Eddie sighed contently, sinking down in his chair.
“Do you have magic hands or something? That feels incredible,” Eddie murmured.
Steve laughed, “Yeah? You like my hands?”
Eddie hummed an affirmation, not embarrassed to admit it. Steve chuckled.
Steve cupped his hand over Eddie’s hairline again as he washed out the shampoo. Next up was the conditioner.
Eddie felt Steve’s hands comb the product through his hair gently, trying to detangle it without hurting him, starting from the bottom and working his way up. He did the same with a wide-tooth comb. It was already more than Eddie had ever done to his hair.
“Do you do this much?” Eddie asked curiously.
“No, actually,” Steve replied. “You’re the first.”
“Really?” Eddie looked up at Steve while trying not to move. “You seem to really know what you’re doing.”
“Yeah, well, this is kinda just… The one thing I’m really good at,” Steve said with a slight laugh.
“That’s not true,” Eddie said with a frown.
“Oh yeah?” Steve asked, then leaned close to Eddie’s ear, “and what else do you think I’m good at?”
Eddie felt his face heat up, suddenly flustered.
“Well, you’re a wonderful flirt, for one,” Eddie grinned up at Steve, who laughed.
“Yeah? Do you think I’m charming, Munson?” Steve smirked down at him, his eyes lit up with delight.
Eddie liked seeing that look on his face.
“Absolutely. King of Charm, for sure,” Eddie nodded. Steve laughed again.
“Close your eyes,” Steve murmured, cupping Eddie’s hairline again and washing out the conditioner. He hummed for a moment, then stood up, getting out of the bath. Eddie moved to get up as well, but Steve tutted.
“I just need to get something, stay right there,” he said before disappearing.
Eddie let his fingers drum on his leg to the music. He had been so apprehensive before, but this… This was nice. It had surprised him. Regardless of all the things the rest of their friends had to say about Steve, with Eddie he was unexpectedly gentle.
Considering the circumstances they had met under, Eddie supposed that they sort of owed each other a certain level of gentleness. It wasn’t like this with the others, though.
Steve appeared again, and Eddie flinched a little in surprise.
“Sorry,” Steve said quietly, but Eddie just shot him a smile.
“‘S okay, I’m just not used to being this relaxed,” Eddie said. Steve beamed down at him like Eddie’s own person sun. His heart felt ready to burst.
He glanced down at the item in Steve’s hand.
“Is that a t-shirt?” he asked.
“Yup, cotton,” Steve explained. When Eddie raised an eyebrow he continued, “You’ve got curly hair, so this is better to dry your hair with instead of the towels. I didn’t think about that before.”
Eddie closed his eyes as Steve took his seat behind him and started to dry his hair, gently lifting and squeezing with the t-shirt. No one had ever taken this much care with Eddie before. With all the flirting and dancing around each other that the two of them had been doing, Eddie had to admit that the care Steve took with him now felt different. It was like he could feel himself falling in love.
Of course, there were any number of things that Eddie admired about Steve now. He cared about the kids deeply, he threw himself into danger if it meant helping people. Steve was brave and caring, and of course he was funny, sarcastic, and very easy on the eyes too. All of that would be enough, but this was more. This, despite Steve just washing his hair, felt more intimate than anything Eddie had felt before. He started chewing on his lip as he realised the weight of that feeling on his heart.
Steve’s hands stopped, and he leaned forward.
“Hey, are you okay?” he said, barely above a whisper.
Eddie’s eyes opened, looking into Steve’s big, worried ones. He was so damn attentive… Fuck.
“Y-yeah… I’m fine…” Eddie murmured, not sure how to pull his eyes away. He felt… Vulnerable.
Steve’s eyebrows creased together, looking intently into Eddie’s eyes, as though a secret might reveal itself there. Eddie gulped.
“N-no… No one’s ever done something like this for me…” Eddie said, finally pulling his eyes away. “It just… Feels…”
“Intimate?” Steve supplied. Eddie nodded.
Steve’s hands resumed drying Eddie’s hair with the t-shirt and he hummed.
“I guess it is. I would only do this for people I felt really close to,” Steve said thoughtfully.
“Yeah? Would you do this for Robin or Dustin?” Eddie asked curiously.
“Probably,” Steve replied, but there was a pause. “Maybe not this, though.”
Eddie was about to ask what, when he felt Steve’s warm lips on his forehead. Eddie’s breath caught in his through. His forehead tingled against those soft lips. He felt Steve smile against his skin before he pulled back, picking up another bottle of product. He rubbed it in his hands before running them through Eddie’s hair.
Eddie’s mouth pulled slowly into a wide grin, and he relaxed back into the chair once more. Steve started massaging his scalp again, and Eddie hummed in enjoyment. They spent so long like that, Eddie was sure Steve hadn’t needed to massage his head for this long, but there was no way he was going to complain. It felt like heaven on earth.
When Steve did stop, he helped Eddie over the side of the bath, and dried his feet from the excess water. Eddie watched him as he was kneeled down in front of him, focused on his task. When he looked up, Eddie surged forward, his lips meeting Steve’s. Steve made a muffled sound of surprise, but melted into the kiss quickly, a hand going to the back of Eddie’s neck.
They pulled apart, and Steve was smiling at him so sweetly. Eddie felt like his heart might just stop permanently then and there.
“So, you’re going to let your hair dry naturally,” Steve started, and picked up three of the bottles and a comb. “And you are going to use all three of these separately. I know you’re using the two in one shampoo and conditioner, but I want you to just throw that in the bin, okay?”
A fond smile crept over Eddie’s features, and he nodded.
“You can’t just wash my hair every day?” he asked.
“Well you shouldn’t be washing it every day, just every second or third day,” Steve said firmly.
“So… I can’t just get you to wash it every second or third day?” Eddie asked, leaning into Steve’s space again with a sly smile.
Steve smirked.
“Well, you told me this was just a one time thing, right?” Steve said innocently, but there was glint in his eye. “Or are you finally going to beg me for more?”
“Please?” Eddie said instantly, trying to flutter his eyes at Steve, who pretended to be considering it. “Pretty, pretty please?”
“Mmmm… Maybe just once more,” Steve said, leaning in until their lips were almost touching.
“Pretty, pretty, pretty please?” Eddie breathed.
Steve cupped his face as he kissed him. Steve pulled away, looking at Eddie with a pleased expression.
“Yeah, okay,” he said simply, making them both laugh.
~
Eddie’s hair had dried. Steve was convinced it would take a while for his hair to adjust and repair, but Eddie couldn’t deny that it was definitely better than the scruffy curls he usually had.
They were sitting together on Steve’s couch, watching a movie. Steve’s arm was once again draped across Eddie’s shoulders. He was playing with Eddie’s hair, and this time he wasn’t cringing. Eddie would be lying if he said he didn’t like the feeling. It was soothing. He fell asleep like that, resting on Steve’s shoulder. Steve smiled down at him, giving him another kiss on the head, hugging him close.
Eddie would admit later that Steve had been right. A hair wash really did feel like it had changed his life, and he would absolutely be begging for more.

Gonna Make You Sweat | Rooster x Reader
Summary: Bradley is determined to get back in peak physical condition, but you are more of a distraction than he anticipated.
Warnings: Fluff and smut
Length: 2000 words
Pairing: Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw x Female Reader
This was written to accompany my series Is It Working For You? along with a bunch of my one-shots! (But it can be read on its own) Check my masterlist in my profile for the reading order!
Tumblr media
Bradley had finally graduated from physical therapy, and while he had regained full use of his left arm, the scarring was still very much present. He hated the way it looked, but there wasn't much he could do about it.
But what he could do, was get himself back in top shape before he married you. His physical therapist had given him the green light to work out as much as he wanted to, and he decided to buy a weight bench for the garage.
"We don't really even use the garage, and this way we can have a home gym," he told you as he ordered everything online from his spot on the couch.
You climbed into his lap and took his phone out of his hand. "Promise me you aren't doing this because you think you need to, Bradley. You're very physically healthy already. You go for a run most days, and I feed you very well."
Bradley examined your face. "Don't you miss my abs, Baby Girl?"
You just shrugged against his chest and ran your fingers under his shirt and across his belly button. "They were nice. This is nice, too. And I'm going to absolutely love it when you have a dad bod someday," you said, biting your lip and moaning.
Just hearing you say the word dad had his dick signaling that it was time to be inside you, and that moan had him pushing you down onto the couch.
"A dad bod, you say? As soon as you want that to happen, you just let me know, Sweetheart," he said, yanking your shorts off as you stroked him through his jeans. You giggled as he kissed your engagement ring and slid inside you.
-------------------------------------
The gym arrived two weeks before Labor Day in what seemed like a million delivery boxes filled with pieces that needed to be assembled. Bradley coaxed you out to the garage one evening after work to help him put it together, but you weren't much help at all.
"Let's go to bed," you whined over and over again, crawling into his lap where he sat on the floor. "I like your body the way it is. You don't even need a gym."
He just chuckled, wrapping his arms around you. "Well, I just spent thousands of dollars on it, so it's staying. Need to look good for our wedding," he said, kissing your hair. "Besides, Jake has been acting weird, and everyone thinks he has a new girlfriend. I want to look better than him again so you can gloat to his girl next time we go to the beach."
You rolled your eyes so hard, Bradley had to laugh. "If Jake was seeing someone, I would know about it."
Bradley narrowed his eyes. "How?"
"Because we have girl talk all the time," you said as you nestled against his neck and rubbed your hand on his belly.
"You and Jake... have girl talk?"
"Yeah, he tells me stuff that happens and I let him know how he fucked up. I'd like to say I'm his guru," you said seriously, making Bradley laugh.
"Well he certainly needs one. Help me put the last part together so we can go to bed," he said with a yawn.
When he stepped back and inspected it, everything looked perfect. And when he started using it the following day, he was happy with his purchase. In fact, he ended up in the garage for an hour every night after he finished cleaning the kitchen from your dinner preparations.
He'd been listening to the gym playlist you made for him and really getting back into the groove of things. His arm was giving him no pain now, and he was working himself slowly up to heavier weights.
"Looking sexy, Roo," you told him when you poked your head in, raking your gaze over his body. "All hot and sweaty."
Bradley sat up on the bench and patted his thigh with his gloved hand. "Wanna join me while I take a little break," he asked you innocently.
Your lips parted and your nostrils flared, and Bradley was curious about what you would do. You were supposed to be going out for drinks with your colleagues and your boss to celebrate Bickel's upcoming promotion. But he knew you hated being late to anything work related, even a happy hour.
Bradley watched you hesitate, your hands grasping the fabric of your dress where it sat against your thighs. "No!" you said suddenly. "I know how you are, and you do this to me all the time!"
"Do what?" he asked, cocking his head like he had no idea what you were talking about.
You sighed. "You make me late for everything, Bradley. Flaunting your appeal right in front of me. But not today, sir!" you said, spinning on your heel. A few minutes later, he heard your car start, and he returned to his workout with a big grin.
--------------------------------
Bradley checked himself in the bathroom mirror before he pulled on an old tee shirt for working out. Just a week later, and he was already feeling better. He jogged through the house and let Tramp out into the back yard as he headed for the garage. He could probably squeeze a quick workout in before he needed to shower to leave for the airport.
He turned on his playlist and got to work, singing along to everything and completely losing track of time.
"Bradley! I thought you would be in the shower by now!" you said when you strolled into the garage.
He set his barbell down and turned to face you. "What time is it?"
"Their flight lands in an hour," you told him, strolling closer. You were wearing one of those romper things he both loved and hated. They looked cute, but they were annoying to take off.
He licked his lips, tasting his own sweat there, and when you got close enough he reached out and grabbed your hand. "We've got time," he said, his voice deep and raspy.
"Roo," you cautioned, pressing your lips together, but he was already pulling you down to sit on his thigh where he was straddling the bench. "You look good," you whispered, and he grabbed your chin, kissing you hard.
"Do I?" he asked between kisses.
"Mmhmm," you hummed. But you were already moaning softly, turning to face him a little more and running your hands up and down his sweaty biceps. He watched you pull away from his mouth, your tongue darting out to taste the sweat that trickled down his cheek.
Bradley could feel his balls tighten as you pulled your tongue back into your mouth before licking your lips. "You always look good," you added, pulling his shirt off and running your fingers along his flat tummy while you kissed and licked his neck.
After he made sure all of the weights were locked in place, he turned back to you, tipping you down until you were laying on your back on the bench one leg over each side. "You always look perfect," he whispered, unbuttoning your romper and guiding it carefully down your body, watching you lift your hips so he could remove it. You had skipped a bra, something he was wild about, and he hummed against your skin as he kissed your breasts.
"I wasn't kidding though," you gasped. "I liked your little belly. The precursor to the dad bod looked hot on you."
Bradley wrenched your underwear off and planted kiss after kiss on your pussy as he eased his gym shorts and boxer briefs just low enough to get his dick free. The bench was narrow, and there wasn't a lot of room to work with, but he managed to get himself in a good position to slip into your wet slit.
"Oh," you gasped, reaching for his shoulders as he leaned over you.
"Listen, Baby Girl. Whenever you wanna make me a daddy, you just let me know," he told you, moving in a steady rhythm inside you as he planted his hands on your hips for leverage. "I'll give up the abs to spend my time changing diapers instead."
"Oh!" you whined louder, biting your lip. Bradley leaned down to kiss you, and he watched a drop of his sweat land next to your mouth. He was mesmerized by your tongue darting out to taste it.
"Oh fuck, Sweetheart. I'm ready to be a daddy when you want me to be," he promised running his thumbs in soft circles along your pelvic bones as he fucked you a little harder.
"You're already my Daddy," you whispered, and Bradley thought his brain must have shut down.
His movements came stuttering to a halt just as you started whining for more. And when you looked up at him, your eyes absolutely pleading for him to keep going, you once again whispered, "Daddy?"
Bradley slowly withdrew his dick and slammed himself back into you, never taking his eyes off yours. "Oh!" you gasped. "So you like it when I call you that?"
"Say it again," he growled loudly, fucking into you so hard, the bench moved a few inches across the floor as your tits bounced wildly. He watched your eyes roll back as you moaned Daddy a little louder.
"Don't stop," he demanded, giving you everything he had left.
"I won't, Daddy," you cried out.
Bradley had no idea he would like this so much, but in fact, he fucking loved it. Now he was grabbing your waist so hard, he saw tears in your eyes as you chanted, "DAD-DY! DAD-DY! DAD-DY!" Each syllable you moaned matched perfectly with each thrust he landed.
He came so hard, his teeth were chattering. You were whimpering beneath him, completely disheveled with smeared makeup as you whined and squeezed every drop from his cock. Bradley withdrew himself from you and finger fucked his cum back inside. He leaned over you, teasing your swollen clit and working his semen into you until you were literally crying.
Then he kissed your tears away, his fingers still rammed deep inside your pussy. "Daddy loves you," he promised, as you tried to catch your breath. "You're Daddy's Baby Girl."
-----------------------------------
Bradley drove the Bronco to the San Diego International Airport with an enormous smile on his face. You had your left hand laced with his right, and he was slowly spinning your engagement ring around your finger while he drove. You had your head resting against his bicep while you selected songs from one of your playlists.
His enormous smile still remained as he parked and helped you out, walking you to the terminal with his arm wrapped around your waist. Your romper was a wrinkly mess, and you still had a small smudge of mascara below your eye, and he knew your pussy was filled with his cum. He fucking loved you.
Sex in the garage had made you late, and your parents were already waiting next to the baggage carousel when the two of you arrived.
"Oh, honey! Show me your ring!" your mom called as soon as she saw you. Bradley let you out of his grasp as you went to hug them both, and he smiled, because he knew how lucky you were to have both parents here.
Then he almost choked as he heard you greet them, "Mom! Daddy! I missed you."
Bradley shook hands with your father, but he was barely able to make eye contact with him. This was going to be a very long weekend.

when gabriel/jim (jabriel?? gim?????) talks about his "one particular person", aziraphale's smile is such a blink and you will miss it moment but so incredibly precious and we don't pay enough attention to it.
so, welcome to another round of alex's unhinged meta corner where i over-analyse micro expressions while losing some more braincells.
firstly, here's a clip of that scene just so we are all on the same page since i don't know how much time everyone else spends watching that show. don't ask me it's probably at least 6 hours a day at this point
what i want to focus on is aziraphale's reaction to jabriel's words right after "person". did i slow the clip down and then go through it frame by frame to get the following screencaps? yes. yes i did.
there are two parts to this, the spaced-out smile and then his shock/fear. also before we start can i just say how fucking insane whoever made the trailer was for putting the 1941 dinner scene RIGHT THERE??? with THAT expression??????? yeah. no. i need therapy for that alone.
anyway.
while he is talking, aziraphale is looking at jabriel the entire time, but honestly, i don't think he is actually seeing him, he's neck-deep in his memories of crowley. he as that sparkle in his eyes he tends to get around crowley/looking at crowley and that smile appears rather slowly (or as slow as something can be while lasting less than a second).
Tumblr media
personally, i'd call that expression "completely and utterly in love" or besotted if you wanna keep it simple. a content little smile meant for no one except himself, the kinda look he probably wears in private while calling crowley to ask him to come hang out. aziraphale loves him and in this short moment, he knows it - and so do we.
Tumblr media
when jabriel (preferable over gim, in my opinion) trails off, aziraphale remembers that hey, wait a minute. that's my boss. that's the archangel fucking gabriel. he can't know about me and crowley.
at this point, neither we nor he know what exactly is up with jabriel, so there is a very real danger that everything aziraphale says or shows will be reported back to heaven. the shock sets in, the smile disappear and aziraphale falls from cloud 9 (pun intended) and lands face first back on earth.
Tumblr media
while aziraphale does not have crowley's memory of what exactly went down in heaven when they tried to burn him to a crisp, he has always been incredibly anxious around gabriel and the other archangel. he is fidgeting, unable to stand still or even keep his gaze from flicking around. the only moment he calms is, you guessed it, when he is zoned out and thinking of crowley.
Tumblr media
the very real fear that settles on his face is not just about himself, it is mostly about crowley. if heaven knows, hell will, too. everyone knows about the back channels, most just try and keep up plausible deniability. the fact that it is michael who seems to be directly in contact with hell for the most part and not gabriel is worthy of its own post at some point.
another thing worth mentioning is that aziraphale is so afraid, in fact, that he physically backs away from jabriel and gets as much distance between them as possible. jabriel looks like a lost toddler, very non-threatening, but the trauma runs so deep that it does not matter how much of a danger he really is right now. he has been a constant threat for over six thousand years, you cannot deconstruct your view of a person, especially your boss, that quickly. not even if they turn up with total amnesia on your doorstep. naked.
this was less unhinged than some of my other posts but i think this is a moment that gets overlooked a lot. at least i haven't seen anyone talking about it yet since we are all understandably focused on the ending of episode 6.

(emeto warning)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
satoru gojo was an easy man.
he had a laundry list of things he loved more than life. his students, his pretty little girlfriend; there wasn’t a boundary that existed that his persistent and ever-forward personality couldn’t break into.
satoru was like the sun, in a way. things just…came alive around him. the chaos he brought with him everywhere he went was so common that it was almost comforting. where bad things happened, satoru fixed them. and wherever he was, the good just followed. his rays of light and entropy reached out and warmed everything it touched. all beings seemed to turn to bask in his very being.
for things he hated? well, there was a list for that too. some more prominent than others, but your favorite thing he seemed to hate was the least offensive of its competition: alcohol.
in the years you two have been together, you couldn’t recall the last time satoru was seen with a drink in his hand, let alone remember if you’d ever seen it. he didn’t mind when other people were drinking, of course (and loved to indulge you when you got a bit too drunk), but never let himself take a sip.
you weren’t sure if it was because of a bad experience in his youth, something in his family, or just a personal experience; it was never right to bring it up.
but you didn’t mind. and tonight was a night worth celebrating, after all.
you and satoru got dressed up to go out with some friends. something about a big mission finally being over. you’ve never seen anyone party as hard as sorcerers do after they finish their job. all you and satoru could do was attend and catch up with colleagues. you’d have a drink, he’d have a mocktail, and all would flow like it normally would.
satoru fiddled with the button on his shirt as you two walked into the venue.
some club that was picked out by someone whose name you forgot–maybe they were from kyoto? you couldn’t really remember. it wasn’t the type of scene you frequented, but a change of pace was very much welcomed.
your boyfriend’s jittery hands caught your eye as you glanced over at him. his other hand kept you close to his body, but just enough so that you could look up at his face.
“feelin’ okay, baby?”
he looks at you a little delayed, nodding before his eyes meet yours to put your mind at ease.
“we don’t have to stay too long, if you don’t wanna hang around,”
“that’s not it,” he starts, and he barely opens his mouth before he’s called over by some colleagues. you continue to look up at him as he greets them with a sweet smile, rubbing your back to soothe your worries.
mmm, not like you believed him, but you did trust him; so you followed him along, walking just ahead of him as his hand guided you towards his colleagues.
and the colleagues just kept on coming, even inside the club. you’d think satoru worked with, or even saved, every single person in the entire country with the amount of people coming up to you at this party. and he had a story for each and every one of them too–his memory about them all was crazy. it almost made you fall in love with him just a little bit more. he’s interacted with hundreds–no, thousands of people for work. but he always seemed to remember those he had a different kind of impact on.
it made your head spin a bit. sure, he liked to be grandiose about his adventures and his work, but seeing people back him up about it in the flesh seemed like a big gag that you weren’t let in on. you believed him, but was he really that great? he saved that many people, exorcized how many curses?
admiration poured out for satoru quicker than he could extend out a glass to hold it all. it was heartwarming to see. part of you wished people would treat him like this always, in secret hopes he’d be gentler on himself on the bad days. or maybe they already did, and it just wasn’t enough.
it was hard to hear everyone speaking when you were thinking so loud. you caught yourself staring at your boyfriend for longer than you think was normal.
he was the sun. the burning, beautiful, sustaining sun. people turned to him instinctively like sunflowers do when they want to flourish. like the sun, it felt like satoru was bound to detonate at any point–by the time you knew, it’d be over already. fleeting, warm, quick, yet merciless.
do the people basking in his warmth know that it’s the warmth of a man who lit himself on fire?
mankind could never land on the sun. you’d burn up before you could even truly appreciate it. maybe these people were appreciating him from a safe distance. close enough, but never close enough to scald themselves or be swallowed up in the atmosphere.
if he was the sun, you weren’t sure what that makes you.
a close planet orbiting nearby? an asteroid? maybe you’re a lone astronaut, untethered in the vastness of it all. with the sun loving you from afar, as it usually does.
you weren’t sure if you liked the answer, or the implication of it all. it was time for a drink.
when satoru had a spare moment to breathe, you pulled him away to head to the bar and get a drink. you hugged him a little bit tighter than usual, opting to hold onto his arm instead of just his hand.
“you okay there?” he asked.
you nodded, smiling at him and rubbing his arm. you’d thought yourself into a worry, is all, there was no use in getting him mixed up in it as well.
“i’m okay! just meeting a lot of people tonight,”
“sorry, i’m sure it’s overwhelming, sweetie,”
“i don’t mind it. i like hearing all of your stories from work,”
you reach the bar and he leans on it, looking at you fondly.
“really~? you like hearing all these stories about your big, bad boyfriend saving the day, huh?”
you roll your eyes at him playfully, trying to suppress a smile.
“mmm, it’s gone. you ruined it,”
he cocks his head smiling, drawing a little nonsensical pattern on your arm while he admires you.
maybe you couldn’t be the sun. but you could get as close as you wanted to it. he accepted you into his atmosphere with open arms.
“don’t pretend you don’t love it, baby,”
you look away as the bartender approaches, smiling gently.
“something like that,”
you place your order, chatting with the bartender about another patron.
unbeknownst to you, satoru had been approached by a woman he’d worked with many years ago. she greeted him with a warm hug, touch lingering on him a little too long, eyes traveling too south before talking only about what she’s been up to.
by the time you’d gone back to him with your drink, satoru was holding a small shot glass in hand.
“i’ve been treated to a shot! lucky me,” he said.
you shift your eyes between him and the woman across from him, unsure what was going on. before you could decide, satoru was rubbing your lip with a lemon wedge.
you couldn’t even wipe the juice dribbling from your chin before watching your boyfriend lick salt off the back of his hand and slam back his drink.
and then he turned to you, grabbing your face to kiss you incredibly obnoxiously in front of this woman.
it felt like he’d taken all the air out of your lungs. he was electric.
and he just took a shot, apparently.
he turns back to the woman, who was still watching—half in disgust.
“you said it was salt, tequila, and lemon for the order, right?” he asked. his hand moved back down to its rightful position hovering just above the shelf of your butt.
the poor woman could barely speak. it’d become obvious that she’d bought the shot for him, hoping that a mere tequila shot would have him head over heels for her. all she did was nod, a little bit perplexed and a lot a bit embarrassed.
“thanks for the shot!”
satoru turned away from the defeated woman, guiding you back towards the bartender on the other end of the counter.
“feelin’ dangerous tonight, huh?”
“i’m not gonna turn down anything free,”
you tap your finger on the counter, mulling it over.
dramatically pouting, you smile up at him, “you hate alcohol though,”
he smiles down at you, motioning the bartender over.
“might as well go all in, yeah?”
he orders ‘whatever you’re having,’ opening a tab while taking a sip and wincing at the taste of it. he’s trying, at least, but his dramatics were pulling out all the stops tonight.
satoru made his way through the party, socializing with nearly every group of people he could find. it was almost as if being alone would kill him.
you know how sharks continue moving so that they can stay alive? satoru had to have evolved from them. he couldn’t sit still.
that was the first indication that he’d had too much to drink. his aversion to alcohol left your oh-so-strong boyfriend with the worst alcohol tolerance you’ve ever seen.
one tequila shot with a drink and a half—he’s already thinking hard about every word that comes out of his mouth.
his hand never left the small of your back. first moving you like a personal shield in front of him when you arrived, he’s now shifted to using you as a point of balance.
the night flew by when you turned your attention solely on him. you knew he’d be okay, ultimately, and you cut him off before he did anything embarrassing. but seeing him so inebriated was an unfortunate turn of character.
“ready to go?” you asked. you and satoru were one of the few left, as everyone else had decided to continue the night at a different club.
you’d figured satoru wouldn’t mind if you cut the night a little bit short.
“mhm~”
satoru spoke slowly, eyes closed as he shifted his body weight more onto you. you couldn’t recall how long you’d been sitting in this booth, but you figured you’d fare better back at your apartment.
you helped him get up, saying goodbye to the remaining sorcerers as you walked the both of you out to the car.
satoru ran to open your door for you, as he usually did. just a little bit slower, and definitely more intentional this time.
“baby, you’re too drunk to drive,” you laughed, “c’mon, get in,”
he looked at the open car door, not hearing a word you just said to him.
once it’s processed, he closes that door and speed walks to the other side of the car, opening the driver’s side and motioning you to get in.
all you can do is smile.
you kiss him on his hand as you pull it off the door.
“thank you, love”
he looks at you dumbly, waiting for something.
“can i have a kiss?”
he didn’t have to ask for permission for that, and you weren’t really sure why he was now. but you were cold, tired, and ready to go to sleep.
“i’ll give you one if you get in the car and buckle up,”
you’d barely finished the sentence before satoru was running to his side, getting in and buckling up. by the time you’d caught up to him and sat in your own seat, he was leaning over the center console waiting for his prize.
so stupid, you thought. so cute.
leaning in, you kissed him as if he was made of glass. as he deserved to be kissed. and loved. gently, kindly, softly. he was easy to love.
he desperately tried to make the kiss deeper, gently moaning into your mouth and speeding up his pace in hopes that you’d catch on.
you did. you’re a smart one.
but he didn’t have to know that.
you let him kiss you as long as he wanted. indulging every swipe of his tongue, answering all of his unsung moans with one of your own, smiling into his mouth so he could taste how happy he made you.
maybe drunk satoru was good.
you pulled away.
“we have to go home, babe,”
satoru hummed in disapproval, dramatically turning out towards the window in defiance.
“why don’t you love me?”
a little giggle escaped you at his pouting. always so dramatic.
“sorry, you’re right,” you giggled. you reached for his hand as you began to drive, “i’ll be more considerate in the future,”
“please and thank you,”
his actions weren’t matching his words. while he threw one of his appropriately nicknamed “toru tantrums,” his fingers found their way to your thigh as he took hold for an ounce of affection.
you’re convinced he’d explode if he wasn’t touching you for one second.
the rest of the drive home was uneventful. every five minutes or so, satoru would say “pull over, i’m gonna throw up,” only to follow up with “false alarm!”
it was hard to believe him after the third time.
luckily, you both got home in one piece—with no vomit anywhere in sight. you’d consider that a win.
you help satoru out of the car, his eyes barely open as the two of you walk back into your apartment.
he quickly turned away from you, throwing up in a bush in the garden outside your building. you rubbed his back gently, trying to soothe him without getting sick yourself.
it passed, as it always does. but he looks pale, drained, and just a little bit pathetic.
“i’m just glad it didn’t happen in the car,” he says flatly.
rather than kicking him while he’s down, you opted for being doting and sweet.
“feelin’ better now, sweetie?”
satoru swallows hard, leaning his weight onto you as he struggles to keep his eyes open.
“i’m never drinking again,”
at least he’s honest, you think, you had to give him that.
“let’s get to bed, satoru,” you laugh, “i’ll take care of you, ‘kay?”

hi!! I just read both parts to your series ‘You Belong With Me’ and holy shit it’s so good!! I wanted to ask if I could request something maybe?? :)
i was thinkin something where Eddie and a super shy girl are dating. They’re only like three weeks into dating but they love each other so much. Reader’s parents fight a lot (maybe Eddie knows), and she randomly shows up on his trailer doorstep crying one day cause of it…sm fluff plz😭🙏
omg I love this prompt! I wrote this in one day because I simply couldn't stop thinking about it!!
Words: 2.2k
Eddie is the best thing to happen this year. I never thought that I would be dating the town “freak” but here I am. The only thing is that he’s not a freak, well in the ways everyone describes him as he’s not. He’s got a very sweet and loving side to him that if you just gave it time he would show.
It became apparent how much of a caring side he has when I told him about my parents.
“They hate each other! I never understood why the hell they got married in the first place. I mean if two people hate each other so much why be together?” I was ranting and pacing about the most recent argument my parents had.
“Sweets, you gotta calm down, please. Come sit,” Eddie motions for me to sit down on the bed next to him but I keep pacing, there are too many emotions for me to be still right now.
“I can’t calm down, I mean they do this all the time! They act all fine and loving around me but then once they think I’ve gone to bed they rip each other’s throats out. I can’t fucking deal with it anymore!” I can feel the tears welling up at the corner of my eyes, but I refuse to cry over them, over this.
Eddie gets up and stands in my path, “Move,” I look at him waiting but he doesn’t budge, “Eddie move. Please.”
“Nope. Not until you take a deep breath and calm down. This is too much for you right now, you just need to sit with it, trust me. If anyone knows fucked up families it’s me.”
“Don’t say that,” My heart breaks hearing him say stuff like that,  “You didn’t choose for your parents to leave you.”
“And you didn’t choose for yours to hate each other,” He places his hands on my shoulders, “If anything else happens just know that I’m here for you. If they start fighting and you need a place to crash come here, Wayne won’t mind and if he does then I’ll kick him out.”
I laugh at his joke, knowing that he would really do it if it had to be done.
“Okay,” I wrap my arms around his waist, pulling him tight, “Thanks Eds. I love you.”
“Love you too honey.”
That was last week. Only last week when Eddie said I could come over any time they were fighting and I didn’t wanna hear it. So when I heard the screams come from down the hall I started getting dressed, but then I stopped. It was only last week. Was it too soon to come over and sleep at his place?
We’ve slept in the same place before but it was merely by accident, either we were watching tv in my living room and we fell asleep or we were cuddling after school and fell asleep. Never was it purposeful, until now.
Another scream comes from my parents room, followed by a crash. I have to leave. I can’t deal with this, so I continue getting dressed and pack a small bag before sneaking out of my room. The worst part is that I can’t even jump out of my window like most teens, I have to actually use the front door if I wanna leave.
Quietly I open the door to my bedroom and slink out of it as quickly as I can without making noise. Their shouts are louder out here, no cushion protecting my ears now. This also means I can clearly hear what they are yelling about.
“DAVE I HAVE TOLD YOU A THOUSAND TIMES BEFORE-” My mom’s voice coes riquseing down the hall.
“AND I’M TELLING YOU THAT I. DON’T. CARE! WE DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY FOR IT AND THERE IS NO WAY TO GET IT!” My dad’s voice follows close behind.
“WHY NOT? IS IT BECAUSE YOU KEEP SPENDING IT ON HOOKERS AND DRUGS? ARE YOU TRYING TO BREAK UP THIS FAMILY?!”
“FAMILY? FAMILY? YOU THINK THIS IS A FMAILY? THIS IS TWO HUMANS WHO HAD A KID TOGETHER FAR TOO EARLY AND NOW HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO TAKE CARE OF IT!”
It. He referred to me as an it, not a she, or a they, or hell even a he. A fucking it! I’ve been their kid for 17 years now and they can’t even pretend to love me. I guess I was never their kid, I was just a burden for them. Well now they don’t have to worry about me.
I rush towards the steps and out the front door, not caring to be quiet anymore. I can feel the raindrops on my skin as they mix with the ever flowing tears. But I don’t care, I need to get as far away from that hell hole as I can, I need to be somewhere safe. I need Eddie.
---
I’m walking for what feels like hours, the rain now completely soaked through my clothes. My feet and hands are frozen but I can’t turn back now, I’m closer to Eddie’s than I am home anyways.
Walking through this part of town at this time of night was always peaceful, it would help me clear my head of all the things it was holding on to. The pain, anxiety and depression would slowly fade away as I walk, left, right, left, right, left, right. Until there was nothing to think of anymore, nothing to worry about.
Now, as I walk the familiar route to the trailer park, my brain can’t seem to shut up or shut off. The screams and yells from my parents flood every corner of my brain, never letting go. No matter how hard I try to get rid of them, they stick like super glue.
I look up from the sidewalk noticing the world around me getting slightly brighter than it was before. Eddie. My heart flutters at the thought of him, the way I know he will hold me and kiss my forehead. I turn into the trailer park, now only a minute away from the one I love.
I approach the doorstep and before I can knock I take a deep breath hoping it will make it less noticeable that I was crying the whole way here. But it doesn’t.
So I knock anyway. Knock, knock, knock. The sound rings through the small home like a pen dropping in an empty room. There’s shuffling on the other end and then the click of the lock. The door swings open to reveal Wayne, Eddie’s uncle. He’s standing there in his work clothes, one shoe on the other sitting by his recliner.
“Oh honey,” He steps aside and ushers me in, helping me take my coat off, “Did you walk all the way here?”
I nod, not trusting my voice just yet. Eddie calls from the other room, “Who is it? I just ordered pizza so it really shouldn’t be here ye-” He talks as he walks out of his room, cups and plates sitting in his hand.
“Shit.” He rushes over to me and cups my face in his hands, “What happened? What’s going on?” His eyes are frantic and he looks back and forth from me to Wayne, hoping someone will answer.
“My-” My voice cracks as I try to speak so I take a moment to think of what to say, “Parents.” I finally settle on.
Eddie just nods and pulls me in for a hug, not caring that I’m soaked from head to toe. Wayne finishes putting on his other shoe then walks over to Eddie.
“She can stay as long as she needs, okay? Don’t worry about it. I’ll bring some stuff home after my shift.” Then he pats him on the shoulder and heads out into the pouring rain that you just escaped from.
Eddie keeps holding me while I cry into his chest, wishing that this nightmare of a life was over. As I calm down I can hear him spftly whispering things to me.
“It’s okay, I’ve got you. You’re safe here. I love you so much baby.” The words fill my heart with warmth and happiness that I can’t help but to stop thinking about my parents.
I sadly pull away from Eddie, missing his warmth and look up at him, “Thank you.” My voice is still weak but it’s less strained than before.
“It’s nothing. I told you I’m always here for you, I don’t care when you come over as long as I know you’re safe.” He plants a kiss on my temple, “Can I start a warm bath for you? I don’t want you to catch a cold from these wet clothes.”
This. This is the Eddie everyone needs to see, if they did they would understand him the way I do. This sweet and caring boy who only wants the best for those he loves and cares for. I couldn’t have wished for anyone more perfect than him.
I nod my head and follow him as he leads us to the small bathroom next to his bedroom. He turns the faucet on and tests the temperature before turning back to me.
“I’ll set out some clothes on my bed and here,” He grabs a towel from the hall closet, “Is a towel for when you’re done. I’m just gonna be in the living room, so call if you need anything okay?”
“Thank you.”
“You already said that sweet girl,” A smile spread across his face, showing off his signature dimples.
“I know, but I want you to know that I really mean it,” I give him a quick kiss before he’s heading out into the living room again.
I quickly strip down, tearing the wet clothes from my body with some struggle, before finally getting into the warm water that Eddie prepared. The heat immediately starts to soothe my aching muscles and joints, the feeling bringing a wash of relaxation over me.
I wash myself off and clean my hair with Eddie’s coconut shampoo and conditioner. I always love the smell when he’s fresh out the shower and the scent is the strongest. After I’m thoroughly cleaned I get out and dry myself most of the way, only missing a few spots on my back.
I exit the bathroom and am blasted with a wave of cold air, sending shivers up my spine. I head into Eddie’s room to change and dry my hair. I walk in and notice that he left out his favorite Hellfire short and some grey sweats for me to wear, even if they both are over sized I love the gesture. I throw them on and admire the fit in his mirror before heading out to Eddie in the next room.
“There she is!” Eddie says, opening his arms wide, “How ya feelin’?” I walk over and snuggle up next to him, engulfed in the scent and warmth of him once again.
“Better. Still a little cold though,” I nuzzle further into him, not that there’s much room between us already.
“Well you’re in luck. I looked in the pantry and found some hot cocoa mix and mini marshmallows. I got your mug sittin in the kitchen,” Before I could even try to get it myself Eddie is up and off the couch and in the kitchen warming up my cocoa. He comes back only seconds later with a large mug topped with far too many marshmallows.
“Thank you,” I say as I reach out and grab the mug with both hands. I take a sip and feel as the warm liquid heats me from the inside. “DId you add-”
“Peppermint and cinnamon, yes ma’am. I know what you like,” He winks at me. A blush creeps up my cheeks at the words but I hide my face in the delicious drink before he can see. Eddie turns away from me to grab a nearby blanket and toss it over my shoulders, but he doesn’t go back to his seat.
“Come back! I miss your warmth.”
“Yeah yeah in a minute I gotta put this movie on first,” He’s crouched in front of the tv shuffling through disks and tapes. A minute later he finds the one he was looking for with a triumphant “Here it is, that little bastard.”
I just roll my eyes at him as he sets up the movie. Finally done with that and anything else he might need to do, Eddie slides in next to me and cuddles in the blanket as well. We watch as the screen brightens and the opening scene of my favorite movie starts to play.
“Wait, how did you?” I look between the tv and the man next to me, who just has a smile on his face as he looks at my shocked expression. “I bought it a while ago, figured you’d be over a lot so I might as well start making it more homey for you.”
I am in too much shock to utter any words so I opt for smothering him in kisses instead. This is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me and I can’t imagine anyone else sitting here next to me other than Eddie. We both burst out laughing before settling down and watching the movie before both of us drift off to sleep.

u guys wanna see more WIPs... similar to the last post, here are Some WIPs
all of these were started in sai before going on to procreate. before going back to sai again in the case of the strength card
so Blue Sky/Out Of Time... yeah it’s extremely self-explanatory, it’s very obvious what this scene depicts and i’m sure everyone gets it (this is a joke i’ve had multiple people dm me asking wtf this even is). the one element that absolutely NEEDED to be there was the LED digital clock with a bullshit time on it, and i decided to replace it with an AIRE warning sign instead and put the LED readouts in the bg. the warning sign in this setting serves the purpose of informing ppl when there are hostile faeries around. i knew what the colours would be from the beginning, but it took a bit for me to realise what sort of shading style i wanted (it took forever). but i did know i wanted to contrast the very sketchy black void against the cleaner and almost cartoony/comic book style rest of the drawing, to emphasise the fact that the foreground sky and background void are made of two very different things. again i used a colour shifting brush to quickly make all the shards of sky different colours, but originally i planned to have some of the shards be dark or night time (with stars or the moon etc). unfortunately it didn’t work, it was too dark and pascal got lost against it.
My Eyes Are Up Here is pretty obviously the exact same scene with the same character, in the same field, but with a different sort of atmosphere. i sketched this in sai then did the final in procreate. originally it was going to have a black background
Tumblr media
i really like this version tbh but the blue works better. i think he looks good against dark backgrounds where it’s kind of hard to see wtf is even happening there
so about the neon signs..... i’m well aware that the sketch has way more promise than what the final ultimately was, and that’s because i found that i didn’t have the technical or artistic ability to pull off the complex neon signs like i wanted to. i couldn’t get it looking good enough so i had to scrap them. but these signs will be back, i want to draw them properly and do them justice. the gif was unplanned too but i thought it would be fun to have the flicker be very intermittent so that if you scrolled past it you might not even realise, or you’d have to stick with it just to catch it looping. i used GIMP to make the gif and change the frame rate, and this actually took a very long time because i had to preview it over and over. anyway if you WERE to get lost in the púca’s field, in this story, you would see neon signs like this encouraging you to follow them.
Strength is actually the last drawing i ever made that ended with a paint-over in sai, and the oldest drawing here. as such i actually don’t think it’s representative of my current ability but i do have a soft spot for it for sentimental reasons lol. the reason for the paint-over in sai was because i drew this at a time when i still did not trust procreate to be able to place the level of finish on it that i wanted
the background took me a thousand years to figure out. literally it was so annoying that i considered scrapping it for something simpler. but the idea was for it to be a kind of fairytale-ish lost in the woods sort of look while also appearing like the blood vessels around the human heart. the branches were also supposed to be heart-shaped in cross-section but i spent so long zoomed in painting them that i forgot to zoom out to see if all those fine details were actually visible, and it turned out they weren’t. i was disappointed that i couldn’t get félix’s tattoos to look right but that’s what i get for making a character with shit tons of both tattoos and body hair. i also got rid of the foreground branches really soon because they weren’t adding anything and muddied up the readability of his pose
the swan is from a daemon au and bears no relation to my other swan characters. i just like swans a lot

GITJ Post 394: Cat n Mouse, p5
Melissa had been fucking her boss, standing with legs spread by the sliding glass doors of the great room in her mother’s house, holding his limp, 79 pound body by nothing but his cock. Using her internal muscles to keep him suspended up above the ground she’d made him come with her, in spades. Dr J had utterly exhausted himself and was now lying limply in her arms.
The dining room table lay halfway across the room. In its path through the air to where it now rested, it had broken her mom’s favorite Iranian vase. And some hanging lamps, a curio table. And the wall.
She'd thrown the massive, nearly thousand-pound table like it was a child’s toy.
But now, as she held him tenderly, stretched across her strong arms like a babe, the devastation on the other side of the room went unacknowledged. She cradled him. Her muscles still dominated him, cocooning him in her power and post-workout bulk, but, in the pleasant afterglow, they had already begun to soften. Her more womanly curves returning.
Her voice - lovely in its own way - hummed to him, relaxing him as she swayed him back and forth. She watched as his eyes started to flutter, and, without a thought, she released some pheromones to help keep him awake for her, at least for a little while. I wanna snuggle.
Some 0001.55.6677.xc, a dash of 0001.55.6009.xx and, haha why not, a little 0001.55.6344.gf as well.
”y-you’re not getting tired?” he asked, pulled up against her, bare but not shivering, warmed by her likewise naked body. He’d been exhausted, but now he just felt…relaxed. Unsuprisingly, aAfter only a few minutes past his last climax, he was starting to become aroused again, aided by the indulgences of her body and fully exposed to her bare skin and firm nipples against his side. All strength, whatever meager amount there’d been, began to leave him and he slumped entirely in her embrace.
Tired? Me? That doesn’t happen anymore. Melissa giggled. ”No, I could do this all night.” She giggled again, and brought her nose down to nuzzle his. “Oh my god you’re so cute,” she mused, “so cute.”
She had begun to notice - now that their lovemaking was over, and that her mania had mostly faded - a strange tingling inside herself. Familiar, but more intense than she’d felt in the past. It wasn’t unpleasant. In fact, if she closed her eyes and let herself bask in it for a moment…it was delicious. She knew it, she’d known this before. Someone, somewhere was jerking off to her. And not just someone…but lots of someones. She’d gotten this feeling many times, whenever she put up a new Instagram post. It was funny to her. Like clockwork, a new photo could bring about the tingles. She didn’t really know what they meant, but it kind of amused her to feel the devotion of all of her little followers doing whatever it was they were doing to themselves. But now, wow. This was a lot. What was going on? What could be bringing it o-
Oh, wait haha. I think I know. Tonight was the night of-
Melissa was brought back from her reverie by Jay's adorably timid voice. He’d begun stroking her big arm, her right one, her bicep, and he could no longer hold back his praise.
”I…I can’t believe how big you are,” he said dreamily. The awe and wonderment in his words? Poetry to her.
”haha yeah,” she replied. Despite the pride she felt, an uncharacteristic, almost demure modesty warmed her response. “And it’s all for you, sweetie. All for you.”
He flushed. Her attentions were strong, overwhelming at times. He’d never had a woman this into him before. With anyone else, it might have been scary. Well, sometimes it was scary. He’d heard the stories of the crazy girlfriends, and having one that could bench press a car could be understandably troubling. Melissa, though, was just so…beautiful. Maybe too beautiful. It made it hard to let these anxieties scare away his feelings for her, like she was worth ignoring all the red flags in the world. She just kinda made it hard to think straight sometimes. Was he blinded by his feelings? Perhaps, yes - but ignorance is bliss, right? And in moments like these the worries just seemed so unimportant.
A crash, as something toppled in the mess across the room. A plume of plaster dust blossomed into the air. It fazed neither of them. They were lost in this private, tender moment.
Juices, his and hers, still dripped out from between her thighs. Her mighty leg muscles flexed as she lazily walked them both around the room, away from the destruction. She was getting antsy again; he was growing. His member’s tumescence was starting to return and she was having a little trouble ignoring it.
Give the poor boy a minute, Missy!
“So, you train every day?” he asked, recalling her trip to the basement earlier this evening as he continued  stroking her hyper developed bicep. He’d never, ever been with someone so…physically incredible. So powerfully strong. Compared to his own body, hers was titanic.
“Pffft me downstairs, tonight?” she scoffed, playfully, “That wasn’t ‘training’. That was me just trying to, I dunno, work off some anxiety. I haven’t really trained in a long time.”
Jay cocked an eyebrow. That was a little confusing to him. “What do you do when you go to the gym? You and the girls are members of that one down the road, right? You don't work out?”
“The gym? Oh, haha, well that’s more like entertainment,” she answered, appreciating his interest in her and her routines, “I don’t go there that often really. I go to Evolution more. They have…bigger weights.”
“You mean the headquarters? Evolution?” he probed. He felt, here in this moment, an openness between them. Maybe he could, like, unearth a little more about her, or at least find out some about her connection to the pharmaceutical company that was bankrolling the study and, well, everything out about the practice.  “You train there?”
“Yes. Well, it’s more like a check-up than training, really,” she said. She was being refreshingly a bit more honest with him, but she was still watching her words, “The doctors want to keep track of my abilities. Track how much I can, like, lift. And other things.I don't really do it a lot, but it does help me get stronger, I think.”
His heart skipped a beat, with a feeling he didn’t recognize. What are these…’other things’? “C-can I ask…what exactly is happening to you?”
Oh, god. I want to tell him so bad, she groaned, silently, He deserves it, he really deserves to know. She struggled to control her breathing and heartbeat, knowing he’d be able to feel it all through her chest. She was excited not only at the prospect of telling him everything, but showing him everything. He’d only, really, had a small sampling of what she could do. If she were to tell him what she was, show him her new talents and gifts, and explain to him what she was becoming…well, just the look on his face would be priceless. As she considered it her legs, and the area in-between them, started to warm.
I have to give him a little.
“Well,” she began, “I’m not like other girls…”
“That, I know…” he chuckled, stroking her arm, glancing at the enormous breasts squashed up against his body.
She laughed too, soaking in the appreciation he had for her figure. “Yeah, but I’m, like, really not like other girls,” she started again, looking down on him, feeling the love she had for him unlocking doors, opening windows. She was glad there weren’t any cameras here, in her mother’s house (there weren’t, were there?), because she knew there would be people who wouldn’t appreciate her, uh, candor. “I’m - and this is gonna sound stupid - kinda special. Ever since I was a little girl. I’m made different. They’ve known it, my mom at least always has...”
“S-special?” he blinked, looking up at her.
“Yeah, like…things come easy for me,” she continued, “My body is able to, uh, adapt. Really, really quickly, to things I need it to do. They call it - and, uggh, sorry, I don’t always get this right - ‘Reactive Self Adapt-station’”
“‘Adaptation’?” he spoke, correcting what he thought was-
“Yes! ‘Adaptation’! That’s it, ‘Reactive Self Adaptation’, that’s what I can do.”
The furrow in his brow was sooo cute. He was mulling it over, trying to figure it out. He was so smart, he’d for sure know what it meant.
“So, like, what?” he asked, “If you need to get stronger, you get…”
“Like, really strong. Really fast.” Her response came quickly.
“And if you need to get taller, you get-”
“Yeah, REALLY tall,” she finished, “yeah, that’s why they think I’m growing, now, shooting up.” He’s getting it!
“And, uh, wh-why do you need to be, like, really tall, and…?”
“And strong? Because you like it,” she answered, plain as day, “I started getting tall, I started growing my huge boobs even huger first because it helped me get this job, and then, well…because I liked you. And it was obvious you liked them. You liked big boobs and you liked…tall girls.”
<gulp> Jay felt exposed, not just from being stark naked.
“And if I was going to get your attention, make you my boyfriend, well…”
She pushed her chest into him.
“...these helped. And so does the hair, and the legs and the butt and all…this.”
He flushed with embarrassment, but - she noticed haha - he didn’t deny a single word. When he did finally speak, it was apologetic. “S-s-sorry…” he stammered, with his head down as if he was asking forgiveness for the entire male race.
Good.
“Oh don’t be sorry you can’t help it,” she giggled. The precious little nervousness in his voice, his embarrassed expression was beginning to get to her. She was starting to feel naughty again. More and more tingles, throughout all this, had also been coming. They all like it, they like what they’re seeing apparently, all the little gobs.
Melissa turned her attention back on Jay with new intent. “So, you like when I use my…abilities on you? My…’woman’s charms’?” she asked, her voice once again growing husky as she made sure to push her bust firmly into him.
Jay hesitated, but only for a moment before his honesty took over. ”Y-y-yes,” he answered.
He had no reason, she knew, to deny his attraction to her. She liked that he seemed fascinated, too, with what made her special. She was glad she’d opened up to him a bit, and told him what she could, for now. She was hoping that - with a little time - she could get him to go beyond just a sense of fascination, and he’d come to her with some of the same feelings that her little men down in the basement were growing. Nnnnngghhh oh god, Missssy, stopppp….
That could be for later, later, later. For now…
“What do you like best? My stompy feet? My Big Bossy voice?” she asked playfully, “Besides my boobs, of course. They’re my biggest superpower.”
He flushed..
“Seriously, what do you want me to use on you?” I’m not going to tell him I’m starting to be able to read his mind, she decided, That’ll freak him out haha. “You have an almost full-blown supergirl here…”
This time, he didn’t hesitate for long. ” Will you please…kiss me again?” he asked, his voice and eyes and face tremulous, “Like you did before?”
“When I…sucked all the air out of you” she asked, cocking her head in curiosity. That's a surprise. “Is that what you want me to do again?”
”Yeah, well, more like…” His chest trembled. “wh-when you, uh…when you breathed for me.”
Oh god, that made her shudder. ”omigod okay.”
The feeling of her lips, suddenly on his, was sublime. She’d gathered him up towards herself, brought him in for a kiss as she held him in her arms, and then put her mouth on his. Her lips, so much bigger than his, easily wrapped around his mouth, and her tongue found unchecked access into it. He’d opened for her, he wanted her in there, and his surrender made her groan. And so she kissed him, forcing herself in deep and causing him to tense up and shiver in her arms before immediately melting again in her embrace. Their tongues slid against one another, hers pushing his back and forth, up onto his palate or down into the floor of his jaw. They played, but it was clear in their kiss who wore the pants, who was in charge. She dominated him. She’d pushed herself in hard enough so that the side of her mouth pushed up against his nose, and with just a little adjustment she now had it blocked completely.
He began to tremble, anticipating that feeling again. It wasn’t just his lips or mouth or even his whole face that were made to vibrate but the sensation radiated throughout his whole body, from head-to-toe. He quickly couldn’t breathe, and yet in that sensation, in that terrifying vulnerability, he began to feel pleasure. He felt his limbs losing their strength, and if his hands hadn’t once again found sanctuary on her breasts they might have fallen limply to his side. The pleasure from the kiss was so intense that he didn’t notice himself beginning to sweat as his body sought oxygen. Even the pain and burning from his lungs was muted, overwhelmed by the rapture of the moment until it began to build, and build, and build. He thought to pull away, when his peripheral vision began to flicker with stars,  but then he felt something sweet and powerful flow into him.
Oxygen, suddenly, was being pushed into his lungs and surged throughout his body. It revitalized him, freed him from the pain, and filled him with life. His vision began to clear and the pins and needles in his fingers and toes disappeared. His fear abated, and a new fear replaced it: the thought that the kiss might end. But it didn’t.
Melissa waited for his body to start to recover, her mouth still clamped over his. Though she didn’t fully understand how it all worked, she knew his body needed time, a moment. She was letting his blood take in the oxygen she’d given him from her lungs and replace it with carbon dioxide. She could sense when she needed to draw it out, and once again, she drew his breath from him, taking  it into her own lungs. She felt the air inside her chest changing. What her body was doing with the carbon she wasn’t certain, but it didn’t worry her. In fact, she fought back a smile as she waited for her partner to be ready, so she could breathe into him once again.
He squirmed. Just the feeling of this new air of hers flowing into him was like taking her inside himself. He was letting her in, letting her become part of him. When he breathed out again, she let him wait, wait, wait, letting him know that it was on her accord, that it was by her mercy that he was able to breathe. She breathed into him again, with air sweeter and richer than anywhere on earth, and she felt his body shudder again in delight. He opened his body for her, and she went in, and out. Air in, and air out. In, and out. Huge lungfuls into him, and then huge lungfuls out.
She was fucking him with her lungs, and it was making her so wet.
How long had they maintained the kiss? He didn’t know but when her lips finally left every part of him tingled, and not for lack of air. Rather, quite the opposite. He didn’t need to draw deep breaths, he felt as if he barely needed to breathe at all. She’d given him what he needed. She’d super-saturated his cells with something better than the earth’s air.
He wasn’t certain what to say; he wasn't certain he could speak.. He looked up at her, to her lips, and found them parted into a warm, brilliant smile.
“See, sweetie? I can breathe better for you than you can for yourself,” she said.
He knew what he wanted to say. He wanted to collapse, submit himself entirely to her control. He wanted to tell her: ‘yes, please, let your lungs breathe for me. Let your heart beat for me. Do everything for me. Take away all my problems, fill me back up with yourself.’
She felt his longings, but knew that him submitting to them would take strength, strength she knew that he didn’t have. He wasn’t strong enough yet to shed everything he’d known, everything he’d been taught, everything he’d become through his however-old-he-was years on this earth. He would, though, allow himself to be taken along for the ride and maybe, along the way, she could help him find that strength.
“Jay, baby, honey,” she began, her own eyes welling up with the love she had, “you’ve taught me a lot, so much. I was always told, always taught that boys, guys, men were…weak. My mother made me see men as, like…less than human, more like objects. She told me that only women had the strength needed to…to…”
He knew what she wanted to say. Her words were failing her but it was the mantra that - unspoken as it may be - was permeating everything, changing society. She wanted to say that it was only women, superior women, who had the strength to rule the world. But, strangely, in that moment it made her feel bad, like she’d be gloating. Hadn’t he been through enough? Didn’t he deserve a little tender ignorance?
But they both knew it was fucking true. No one really needed to say it. Women were in charge.
“But I love you. I love you more than I could ever love a thing, an object, or, like, a pet,” she finally spoke, “You’ve shown me…so much. You’re so much more than my mother ever told me a man could be. And we’re perfect together.” She watched his face, read every twitch and tingle of his thoughts and emotions. “We belong together, like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Except you’re a small piece and I’m the…” She stopped, paused, giggled. “I’m the really big piece. And you just…fit. Right into me.”
“Oh, my god, Melissa,” he quavered, gathering something.
”Yes, sweetie?” She cocked her head, unsure of what he was going to say. Was he going to lash out?
“I l-love you so much,” he said.
Her heart, she felt, might burst from her chest. “Oh my god honey I love you too.” She was sure he could hear her mighty heart beat, that he could feel it quake his bones. It was a behemoth, bigger she felt than anything else about her and its thunder, now, would shake the earth.
It was time. She needed to ask him. She drew a deep breath.
“Jay, sweetie, you’ve started to see all these things my body can do. But will you…” she began, looking right into his eyes, “let me…do things to you? So I can…protect you better?”
He paused, taken aback. “w-what do you mean - ‘do things to me’?” he asked, tremulously, “Wh-what are you asking?”
She knew she needed to be gentle, careful. She could force it, but it wouldn’t feel right. It would only be right, really right, if he asked for it himself. She continued on.
“Like, you’ve seen it,” she began, “Like I’ve told you. I’ve been working on myself, changing, growing, so I can be a better office manager. So I can be a better girlfriend, a better protector for you. I’ve been doing it all for you.”
She knew he was confused. He didn't know what to think. It all maybe still sounded cryptic, and she maybe sounded crazy, but she needed to ask him this. “I’ve been working on myself, a lot. But…will you let me work on you, too?  So I can do what's best for you?”
“Uhhh…”
She could tell he wasn’t sure if he liked the idea of that. “Maybe that sounded a little bossy haha,” she giggled, “But…I am the boss, right?”
“Ummm…”
“C’mon…” she urged playfully, “You know I can make you a better man.”
He paused, not wanting to disappoint her or deny her something she really wanted to do, but he also didn’t want to commit to something when he wasn’t one hundred percent sure what she was asking. “You mean like…self-improvement?”
“Sure yeah kinda sorta,” she giggled, “I can help make it so we can have more fun? Do more of what you like?”
“Like..?”
“Like, well….kinda like this-”
Suddenly, a huge wave of pheromones exploded from her bare flesh and skin and - just as suddenly, with one breath - he was hard. Beyond hard, he was quivering again. She’d not only taken control of his body and caused him to become piercingly aroused, erect as a pole, but she’d forced her will into his mind and regressed him back to something so much simpler. His thoughts were slowed, and his brain was made deliriously foggy. All within the course of about five seconds she had him immediately swimming in a warm sea of pleasurable feelings and - above all - they’re all totally centered on me.
“You like?” she asked, with a crooked smile. He looked like a blissed-out child, and it made her so happy.
“Oh my god yes Melissa please,” he replied, eyes glazed over in his adoration of her and cock a throbbing, iron monument to her beauty, “Do whatever you want to me.”
She giggled, feeling herself becoming giddy at the thought. Yes, he was drunk on her perfumes but they were only getting him to express what he truly felt. With all that stress and anxiety washed away, and with his mind clear of any big, complicated thoughts, this was who he truly was. So, she didn’t really feel bad, she was just helping him find himself. “Whatever I want?”
“w-w-whatever you want.”
She giggled again. “Okay honey, then get ready to become the perfect boyfriend.” She could do it, she knew she could do it, start reshaping things the way she wanted, and she could start right here. She was gaining more control over how things were changing. Her thoughts, and her manifestations these days, had been becoming powerful. She could make him into the perfect boyfriend, and at the same time make herself into the perfect girlfriend…and maybe much, much more. She could change them both, she could change herself into what she’d truly always wanted to be. And she could make him love it.
So exciting!!!
“Okay okay, sweetie,” she began, taking a moment to tuck a lock of her long, thick hair behind her ear. I love how I can cradle him with one arm. “If we’re going to do this, if you’re going to let me do this for us, you’re going to need to start thinking about me a little differently.”
“W-what do you mean?”
Well, I could tell you a little about the guys in the basement.
“So, for starters, now that you know some of the…special things I can do, I need you to acknowledge them, and acknowledge me. I need you to accept that I can do things that other people can’t. I do them all for you, but you have to accept that I’m becoming something more than, like, human.”
He shivered, there in her arms. Yes, you’re incredible Melissa. His arousal had shot an electric shock throughout his bones. He said nothing, and she pressed on.
“I’m growing, I’m developing, I’m becoming something…greater than human. Something bigger, and stronger, and just…so much more,” she said, golden-green eyes glimmering as she looked down into him, “And you’re going to help me get even better.”
“what do y-you mean?” he asked again, in a voice as small and weak as he looked, but one that was now sparkling, crystallizing with a new understanding of purpose, “m-me? What can I do?”
“Oh honey it’s easy, it’ll be so easy. All I need you to do is wish. I want you to wish, I want you to imagine. I want your dreams to go wild. And I want them all focused on me.”
“okay..yes…o-“
NGGGH!!
Her hand had found his cock.
“Okay?” she asked, giving him a first, long, slow stroke.
“o-okay…” he agreed, eyes fluttering as he endured the pleasure.
“I…” she started again, “…can be so much more than your 'girlfriend'.  I can be perfection, and I need your help with that.”
“okay…” he repeated reflexively, already losing himself in the ministrations of her slow, gentle hand. In the crook of her left arm, he luxuriated in pleasure.
She had continued to walk, slowly, around the house. They were now in the grand entry foyer.
“So, those guys? The ones we have living in the basement?”
“yes..?” he moaned, struggling to listen as she stroked his erection.
“They…they 'work' for us, they’re staying with us because they have nowhere else to go,” she explained, her voice soft and gentle as she continued her slow, lazy attentions on his cock, “but they're also learning something. They’re learning a new way to be, and they spend a lot of time, well…thinking. Thinking about me.”
“y-yes…” he repeated, agreeing as if he knew already.
“Thinking about me, writing about me, making up songs and poems about me,” she continued. <stroke…stroke…stroke> “Honey, sweetie, Jay…they’re making up prayers for me. Prayers, honey, prayers. They spend their nights, and days, all their free time praying. To me.”
“oh god Melissa…” he groaned. So lost in pleasure was he it was hard to say if he was responding to her words or to her hand.
“And, honey, these prayers, these poems and songs and all the ‘thinking’ about me…it makes me stronger,” she pushed, feeling the tingles still dancing through her skin. It wasn’t tingles coming just from the basement, though, or her old followers. These were mostly new tingles. Thousands of Channel 5 tingles. “And if I’m going to get really strong I need you to do this most of all.”
“oh god oh god oh Melissa yes.”
“That’s right, that’s good, honey. Say that again.”
“oh god Melissa.”
They had arrived in front of a wall of photos, one he’d been examining earlier. “What were you doing, when I was downstairs? Hmm? Snooping around, looking at my stuff? Looking at old pictures of me? Here let me help…”
With that, she shifted him in her arms so - cock still gripped firmly in her hand - he had a clear view of a framed photo, hanging on the wall. A scene on some exotic, faraway beach, Melissa as a teen.
“Here. Look at this picture of me, this picture of the girl bursting out of the bikini her mom bought for her and think, think, think. Can you do that?” She’d resumed stroking him again. “Can you think about her growing up, growing up taller, growing up big and strong? Growing up and becoming the woman you always wanted? Into the woman she always wanted to be? Making you into the man you always wanted to be?”
He felt as if he was shrinking already.
“Can you do that? Can you keep thinking about me, saying my name? Can you imagine me bigger and stronger and just so much more?”
“Yes, Melissa, god, yes.”
“That’s your new goal, that's your job, that's your passion. Make. Me. Bigger.”
“Melissa…god…Melissa…god…” She was so beautiful, even back then.
“Give it to me. Give it to me now, all you got. Make it your prayer. Make it your first little prayer to me.”
“Melissa, my god, Melissa”
“‘Goddess’ honey, the proper word is ‘goddess’”
“My goddess Melissa,” he finally spoke, his eyes plastered on the photo of the smiling young teen in the bikini on the beach as he came.
“That’s right, good boy…come, come for me,” she chanted, “Look at that picture and come for me. Make that girl into a goddess...”

Filming
Summary: You convince Sebastian to make a TikTok with you
A/N: This is kinda shitty but I just thought about how cute it would be if you made a TikTok with Seb and had to write about it. The relationship in this is platonic and I was picturing that Y/N is somewhere in her early 20s.
People always assumed that working on a Marvel movie meant constant action. But truly, most of your days were filled with waiting around in your trailer for hours on end. There were so many moving parts that there were some days you would be called at 4am and have to stay until 5pm only to shoot one scene. Needless to say, you had a lot of downtime.
It was your castmates that made it all bearable. Instead of sitting alone in your trailers, you were usually all hanging out together. Today was one of those days where you had been waiting around for hours on end to film one scene with Sebastian. You were playing Bucky’s long lost grand-niece, naturally meaning that most of your scenes were with him.
The two of you were sitting in his trailer, anxiously awaiting for a PA to knock on the door and bring you to set. “Ugh,” you groaned, throwing your head back.
“You okay over there?” Sebastian chuckled, looking up from his cell phone. Despite being nearly 20 years apart in age, the two of you had grown very close. You were like his little sister.
“I’m losing my mind, Seb. I’ve never been this bored in my fucking life.”
He laughed and continued to scroll through his phone.
“What are you even doing on there, anyways? You don’t even use social media,” you sassed. You loved to tease him about his lack of social media presence, calling him old and out of touch, even though you secretly wished you could be as brave as him and stop posting on all of yours, too.
“You know there are other things to do on here,” he held up his phone. “I’m reading an article about space. It’s really interesting.”
You rolled your eyes and groaned again. “God help me.” You opened your own phone and clicked on TikTok, hoping that the For You Page would have something entertaining enough to grab your currently short attention span. After a few minutes, you threw your phone down and sighed again. You watched Sebastian from across the room, silently getting an idea. You smiled slyly, and he looked up at you.
“Oh no,” his eyes narrowed. “You have an idea.”
“Let’s make a TikTok.” You were constantly making TikToks with the other actors and your followers loved it. But you had yet to give everyone what they really wanted. Sebastian.
“Absolutely not,” he replied.
You pouted your lip and widened your eyes. “Pleeeaseeee,” you begged. He laughed at your desperation. “It will be fun I promise. Just one.”
“Stop acting like a child,” he said playfully.
“The fans want it. They’re constantly asking where you are in my videos. People are gonna start thinking that we hate each other, you know.”
He smirked. “Oh they’re constantly asking? They wanna see me in a TikTok that badly?” His tone was playful but you knew him well enough to know that he did seriously doubt it. Despite being so successful, he would always be humble and unsure of himself and just how much his fans truly did love him.
You snapped a selfie of the two of you and posted it in your Instagram story asking if people wanted to see you and Sebastian make a TikTok. Within seconds, thousands of people were answering “yes” to the poll and your DMs were flooded with pleading messages, begging you to get him to make one.
“See? Now they won’t leave me alone until I do it.”
He sighed. “Fine. Only for you.” Sebastian had a soft spot for you. Even though you were so much younger than him, he really did think of you as one of his best friends. You were wise beyond your years, having grown up in the spotlight. The two of you loved each other, even just platonically. He was always looking after you, obsessively googling people that you went on dates with, always making sure that you got home safe from nights out. You reminded him a lot of himself when he was your age in a lot of ways. “But no dances. I am definitely not doing a fucking Tik Tok dance.”
“Fair enough.” You scrolled through the app trying to find a good video that the two of you could make. “Oh, I know. This will be fun.” You selected the audio from Gilmore Girls. The classic Jess “Why did you drop out of Yale speech.” You filmed Sebastian as Rory, and yourself as Jess. It took him a bit to get the hang of lip-syncing the words but eventually you had a completed result.
You posted the video with the caption, “As highly requested.” Within seconds, your phone was blowing up with likes and comments of people freaking out over you actually getting Sebastian to make a Tik Tok.
“See? I told you they wanted it.” You smirked, hitting him lightly on the arm.
He rolled his eyes. “The things I do for you, Y/N.”

Classroom Blues
Tumblr media
Character: Melissa Schemmenti Word count: 3,310 Warnings: Car accidents, panic attacks, PTSD Genre: Hurt/Comfort Rating: T
Description: Tires screech against pavement, shrill and cruel. Aluminum crunches. Glass shatters. Every single kid stops what they’re doing. --- It’s never been so frightening to look out the window
“That’s looking great, Noah!”
You smile over his shoulder, and he beams back at you before returning to his crayons.
Second graders are so easy to please.
You walk past him to get a look at everybody else’s paper plate dinosaurs. Nathan’s is breathing fire. Tyrone gave his a little princess crown. When you asked, Jamila said hers is ‘a apatopasaurus’ and that she refuses any further comment.
Fantastic work, overall.
It’s looking mighty fine outside too; the day is stretching into afternoon, and the sun blazes into the art room, etching on the walls the shadows of the easter bunnies the first graders had made last week.
The clock is slowly ticking towards two, and you’re only fifteen minutes away from a hot McVegan — no tomato, and two hours of the Good Place. Jamila lifts her hand as high as she can and speaks before you can even get to her.
“I’m all done,” she says. Her apatopasaurus is made of three plates instead of one, and the legs have pink pipe cleaners for both claws and a tongue. There’s a little tear drawn beneath its googly eye.
“Oh, wow.” You turn it around and smile at the glitter glue spots drawn on the other side. “This is really great, Jamila. You wanna help me put it on the—“
Tires screech against pavement, shrill and cruel. Aluminum crunches. Glass shatters.
Every single kid stops what they’re doing.
“Look!” Samantha yells and runs to the window. Half the class follows her, crowding in a line to catch a glimpse. God’s mercy that most of them are too short to see past the supply shelf. It offers you no such protection, though.
Just by the crossing outside, a black car is crushed against a DHL truck. Must have been going way outside the speed limit; you’re barely allowed to hit 40 out there because of the kids. The left side is completely collapsed around the truck’s hood, but you can see the driver just fine from here.
Dead.
He’s dead.
You snap into action.
“Hey, come on,” you say and start herding them away from the windows. “The ambulance guys will handle it, okay? Let’s get back to work.”
Your voice sounds distant to your own ears, like you’re speaking into a bottomless tunnel. The kids don’t seem to hear you either. More likely they’re just not listening because they’re eight-year-olds and most of them haven’t had time to even think about death yet.
They haven’t been to a funeral on a perfectly sunny day, just like this one.
Haven’t hung upside down by their seatbelt in a upended car.
Or seen how broken glass mangles a face.
Stop.
You blink yourself back into the here-and-now. Your knees are already beginning to feel weak, ready to buckle under the slightest strain.
Just breathe. Ten years of practiced technique, honed to perfection. Breathe.
For the kids, if not for yourself.
The minute hand on the clock ticks over to fifty-three. A few kids, the same ones who always put the watercolors back where they belong once they’re done, were kind enough to head back to their seats, but that still leaves you with eight children glued to the glass, watching the driver get dragged out of the car. He’s dropped onto the pavement. Someone’s trying to resuscitate. You can tell from here that it won’t work.
“Okay, I mean it this time.” You try to cover your trembling voice, to apply the gentle authority you’d seen Barbara pull a thousand times. They don’t move an inch. Maybe it’s the gulf of difference in experience, maybe it’s just Barbara being Barbara, or maybe they can tell that you’re afraid.
You sigh and peel the kids off the window one by one and escort them into their seats. Inelegant. Methodical. Your limbs function outside your jurisdiction in a world entirely of their own. When you bring your hand to hover in front of your face, it feels lightyears away, a limb puppeted without its master.
You can still feel crumbled glass embedded between the creases of your palm.
Breathe, damn it.
“Who was that guy?” Jamila asks even after you’ve sat her back down by her dinosaur.
“I don’t know, buddy.” You brush cardboard clippings off her shorts and onto the floor. The fabric is void of feeling under your prickling fingers. “But I’m sure they’ve called an ambulance. They’ll take care of it.”
Sure enough, when you glance at the road, Janine is buzzing around the truck driver, her phone already glued to her ear.
The bell rings at last. The kids yell out in joy and their wave of conversation washes you back ashore for a second. They grab their bags, forget their plates and stickers and markers, and are out the door in record time. They’re so excited.
You can’t tell them to slow down, to stop, even, until the commotion outside is finished. You can’t do anything but stand still and listen as their voices ebb away into just an echo.
Pills. Where are your pills.
You stumble to your bag and search it with trembling, unsure hands, like fingers against a jammed car door, dipping into the seams to tear the whole thing off if you have to. You throw your keys on the table, same as your wallet, your planner, your lighter, and a handful of stray pens; all of them in a heap that slips over the edge and to the floor. You turn the whole bag inside out, but can’t find the pill bottle.
Your chest is getting tighter, heavier, like the spaces between your ribs are stuffed with cotton, like you’re trapped under a ten ton truck careening off the highway uncaring of casualties.
Breathe. Remember to breathe.
You can’t breathe, that’s the whole fucking problem.
The room is empty. Your only companion is the sun, and even she’s about to dip behind the buildings on the other side of the street.
You fall to your knees, grasping at the collar of your shirt, your fingers far too stiff, too jittery to undo one single button. You tear them open anyway. One flies under the shelf, like a body clean through the windshield. He said he didn’t need the seatbelt; it was such a short trip anyway. His legs were bent wrong six times over down in the ditch.
The world becomes muffled, stuffs your ears with ringing to keep you from hearing your own scratchy, frightened heaves for air. To save you the fear. The shame. You claw at your throat, at your chest, hoping you might dig out the chunk obstructing your windpipe.
You want to scream. So much. You’re mentally holding yourself by the shoulders, begging yourself to keep quiet. You’re in a position of authority. A child sees you like this, it’ll go down to the parents and you’re in trouble. Abbott’s in trouble. You can’t afford that.
You remember the mud staining your shirt when you’d crawled out, your leg broken and your face dripping with blood. You still don’t know if it was yours. Sirens, nearby. A broken airbag. A broken neck.
Blood.
You back up against the wall and your head bangs into the bricks with a sudden jerk, though the pain is nothing, nothing compared to—
A hand lands on your shoulder. You jump back in fright, your other arm flying to shield your face. Something hot drips down your cheek, but you can’t bring your fingers up to check, can’t trap yourself in that knowledge.
“Whoa, okay,” someone says. “No sudden touching. Gotcha.” The voice sinks like a rock into deep, dark water, far off and twisted. You can’t move to see who it is, who’s come to watch you in your weakest, most undignified moment.
“I’m gonna take your hand,” they say. “That okay?”
You nod, but the movement is stiff and thick with tension, just like the neckbrace they’d given you, after everything. You had a rash for weeks.
Your hand is enveloped by another, the touch soft, the fingers a little cold. There are rings right above the knuckles: two of them plain bands and one with a big, sharp stone on it. You squeeze the hand hard, hard enough to make the other person groan a thick, hefty ‘ow’.
“Okay. Think you could try and breathe with me? Doesn’t have to be perfect.”
The person doesn’t wait this time. They take a deep breath, exaggerated enough for even you to hear, and then exhale, like wind in the trees on a stormy night when nobody should’ve been driving in the first place.
Your attempt in following them is sad and broken. The air remains trapped in your throat, refusing to flow all the way into your lungs, no matter how you try to wheeze it in or out.
“Good, keep going.”
It’s not even remotely good, not even passable, but you keep it up anyway. In and out, but it’s more like i-i-i-i-in-in-in and ooo-out-o-ooout. This doesn’t deter the person sitting next to you, though. They keep their breathing even and deep, and you follow them, out of pace and rhythm in a one-sided dance where you keep crushing your mystery partner’s toes.
“You’re doin’ real good,” they say, and a thumb is drawn across your knuckles, soft and soothing, free of crusted blood or thick, soupy mud. “Just keep going.
Ain’t no point in rushin’ it, right?”
You do as you’re told. In and out. Your pained attempts slowly start to resemble what the other person is doing, more of a mirror than a reflection in disturbed water. The locked knots in your muscles start unwinding themselves open one by one, and you suddenly find yourself sagging forwards without control.
Arms wrap around your torso and your head knocks into someone’s clavicle instead of the floor. You’re shifted like a living doll into a more comfortable position and your nose buries itself into the nook between the person’s neck and shoulders. You inhale a lungful of syrupy perfume and papaya shampoo.
The clock keeps ticking. The rhythm anchors you, keeps you safely here on the classroom floor where there’s no cars, no highways, no forgotten seatbelts.
“That any better?”
Melissa Schemmenti moves her hand to your back to draw big, smooth circles into your shirt. You manage a dazed, exhausted nod.
The classroom is swimming back into view, bit by bit, color by color. Chairs abandoned where their occupants leapt out of them, craft supplies all over the floor. Tamir forgot his backpack.
“The kids—“
“Are fine,” Melissa says. Her arm slides off your back and around your shoulder instead. She squeezes you tight. “Janine and Gregory were on herding duty.”
“Ok,” you whisper. The clock ticks on, and your stomach dips when you read the face: ten past three.
“You wanna talk about it?” Melissa asks.
The scenery fades in and out, transforms into the woods by the highway and back into an elementary art class in disarray. A mess, both ways. You press your knuckles into your eyes and watch the sparks.
“I’m not sure,” you say.
Melissa nods and clicks open her phone. She shoots someone a text, though you only realize to look away by the time she’s about to write something to Janine.
“Thanks, though” you mumble into the crook of her neck. Your body is dipping straight past relaxed all the way into half-dead. Your fingers feel like spaghetti noodles.
Melissa huffs a laugh. “It’s no trouble.”
You sniff and wipe your cheeks. Apparently you were crying after all.
“How did you find me?”
Melissa puts her phone back in her pocket and you can feel her jaw tighten. She’s thinking.
“I was coming to check on the kids because, well. You know.” She waves her free hand toward the window. “I saw you go down. Fell right off your feet. Scared me to hell, you know.”
You grimace. “Sorry.”
“Pssh,” she says. “Like I said. It’s no trouble.”
You watch the splotch of sunlight, still persistently on the wall. Another hour and it’ll be gone.
You start to peel yourself off of Melissa, pausing mid-movement to wait for the ringing in your ears to ease up, and lean against the wall instead. Melissa, thankfully, keeps her arm around you for support.
“I was in a car accident,” you say.
Melissa’s brow shoots to her hairline when her head whips around.
“It was bad.” You rub your fingers together; a feeble attempt to get some feeling back into them. “I was sitting in the back and my best friend was driving. Her boyfriend was in the passenger seat.”
Deep breaths. In and out.
“They both died.”
“Jesus,” Melissa says, spits the lord’s name in a way that would make Barbara send both of you to sunday school. “I’m sorry.”
“It was a long time ago.”
“Still.”
“Yeah.” You clear your throat, hoping to buy yourself a second of time to stave off any further admission; words you know you can’t keep to yourself right now but ones you’re embarrassed to admit regardless. “I can’t even watch tv shows about that stuff ever since. Of course it would find me in the front yard.” You scoff. “Figures.”
Melissa sighs, soft and smooth, so unlike your own strained, barely calmed breathing. “Shit.”
You can’t help the smile. “Yeah.”
“You feeling any better?” she asks.
You give your neck a little roll, wiggle your fingers and your toes. “I think so. I don’t think I can walk just yet, though.”
“That’s all right. My dinner plans can wait a couple minutes.”
Footsteps draw your attention to the hall. Barbara appears in the doorway in her light brown jacket, her and Melissa’s purses both slung over her shoulder. She takes a quick look at you and then stares meaningfully at Melissa, posing a silent question.
Heat floods into your cheeks, your neck, your ears. It could’ve been Janine, could’ve been Gregory, even Jacob, but of course it has to be Barbara Howard, the singlemost composed person in the whole world, who stumbles in on you crying into Melissa’s shoulder.
Her divorce papers were recently filed, though, so if anything, she’s probably very familiar with the feeling.
Melissa mimes ‘five more minutes’ at Barbara, and there’s a silent battle of wills between them, a conversation you couldn’t even begin to understand, after which Barbara sighs with a smile on her face, bows her head and disappears back into the hall.
“You gonna get home okay?” Melissa asks you when the sound of Barbara’s heels has faded.
“Yeah. Usually I bike, but I think I’ll walk home today. I’ll be fine.” Melissa’s face dips into a frown as she very seriously doubts you. There’s no escaping that look, and it only takes you a second to start sweating. You wonder how people actually trying to fight Melissa Schemmenti aren’t immediately recuded to cinders.
“I swear,” you say, and draw a cross over your heart. Melissa smacks her lips and tilts her head as she assesses your woozy, bulldozed self. Apparently you aren’t shaking that bad, because when she straightens herself, she says, “Okay. But.”
You want to groan. A good sign. Your feet are a little closer to ground again.
“You text both me and Barb when ya get home. Is that clear?”
You lift your hand in a salute. “Crystal.”
Melissa laughs, a smoke-worn, throaty sound that pulls you another inch closer to reality.
“Keep that up and no Schemmenti leftovers for you,” she says. “Cheeky little shit.”
She somehow drags a laugh out of you, short and genuine and good, and it’s not like none of this happened, but it lets you put a band-aid on the wound at least.
“I think I could try getting up now.” You try putting a little pressure on your foot, and though your leg doesn’t immediately smack right back to the floor, it does tremble a significant amount. Heat crawls down your neck again as you ask,
“Could you, uh…”
“’Course.”
Melissa gets to her feet with a strained groan and a ‘fuck my fucking knees’, but manages to get herself standing. She offers you her hand and you take it, keeping your free palm firmly against the wall as she pulls you to your feet. It’s an unsteady operation, one that leaves you dizzy and winded, and nearly back on your ass more than once.
Once you’re safely standing, Melissa gathers up the contents of your bag and hands it to you, but only once she’s made sure that you can actually carry it. She holds you by the shoulders all the way to the hall, and doesn’t let go until the door has safely clicked shut. You still keep your hand by the wall, though. Just in case.
“I’ll have to come in early tomorrow to clean up,” you say with a sigh.
“Don’t even think about it.”
When you look at her, Melissa is staring you down with the intensity of three suns. Whole solar systems, even. You put your hands up in surrender.
“Only if you’re sure,” you say. It is a relief, you have to admit. Especially if you still have to run to the pharmacy to get your prescription refilled.
“Don’t you worry your li’l head about it.”
She walks you all the way to the entrance, where Barbara is still waiting with a paperback book propped on Melissa’s bag.
“All cleared up, then?” she asks.
“Yup,” Melissa says. Short and sweet. Barbara doesn’t ask any further question, though you doubt it’s from lack of interest. At least Melissa has a dinner story to share, if nothing else.
You all slip out the door, but Melissa stops you there. She looks you over, head to toe, her lips pursed and her hands fiddling with the strap of her purse.
“You sure about this?” she asks. “I could give you a ride.”
You fish your keys from your bag and close your fingers around the one meant for the lock on your bike.
“I’ll be okay. And I’ll text you.”
Melissa raises her brow.
“Both of you.”
The idea of sending Barbara Howard a text of any kind outside a professional environment feels like some kind of a breach of protocol, but Barbara herself doesn’t seem phased. Outward, at least.
Janine is going to lose her mind when you tell her about this.
A cool breeze slides under your thin shirt, and your arms erupt in goosebumps.
“I better get going,” you say, but can’t get yourself to walk over to the bike rack just yet. Your fingernail digs into the notches of the key, and you try to figure out something to say, anything that could put into words just how much Melissa has done for you in one afternoon. In the end, you decide to go with something simple.
“Thank you, Melissa.”
She looks amused, truly like she’s done what anybody else would have. Like it’s nothing. You wonder if she’ll ever know how much it means, even if you tried to tell her.
“Eh.” She shrugs. “It was no trouble.”
How perfectly Melissa of her.
“See you tomorrow,” you say, and with one final wave and a smile goodbye, you start heading for home.
Behind you, once you’re definitely out of range, Barbara turns to Melissa.
“What happened?” she asks.
Melissa watches you clear the crosswalk and waits until you disappear behind the Subway.
“I’ll tell you later, hon.” She presses a kiss to Barbara’s cheek. “First we need to eat. I am too fucking hungry to talk.”
“Melissa Ann Schemmenti,” Barbara gasps, “you watch that tongue of yours.”
“Don’t you worry about that, Barb.”
“Incorrigible,” Barbara mutters and heads for the car. Melissa doesn’t miss the smile on her face.
“Love you too.”

Slow Burn
Tumblr media
Pairing: Eddie Munson x reader
Summary: Eddie and the reader are friends with benefits. The reader gets her period and almost cancels on Eddie. But he insists she comes over to just hang as friends. They both realize they like each other more than they thought.
Warnings: Kinda slow burn, some kissing, no smut just fluff
“Hey-ugh-wanna come over?” You hear Eddie’s voice through the phone.
“Sorry I can’t.”
“Why.”
“I’m sick.”
“You didn’t seem sick at school earlier”
“Different kind of sick.” It takes Eddie a few seconds to process your words and responds to them with an ah.
“Well you can still come over, to ya know hang out.” On Eddie’s side of the phone he’s sweating. Never has he asked you to come over without the intention to have sex. He has always wanted to however. He was just afraid as coming off too clingy too needy. After all you did kinda establish this thing between the two of you have friends with benefits. But in Eddie’s head the benefits part always outshined the friends part. Now he was finally able to highlight how much he appreciated you as a friend.
“I really don’t feel like getting high.” You deadpan.
“Y/n I like to think we enjoy each other’s company enough to where we don’t need to be having sex or not sober to hang out.” You’re silent for a few moments.
“Ok fine.” You reply back slightly quieter.
-
After 20 minutes of getting ready you head over to his place. He lives 10 minutes from you but the drive seems longer as you contemplate the scenarios that might play out. You guys could just be simply watching a movie, chilling. Eddie might get a little high, which you don’t mind.
Then your mind wondered to the not so great things that could happen. He could try to convince you to have sex with him. Say to you, your mouth isn't on your period. But Eddie isn't like that he isn’t pushy. Creepy. But then again every girl knows how guys get when they’re horny. And have a girl with a working mouth right next to them. Before you fully realize it, you’re in front of Eddie’s trailer. You get out of your car. You debate whether you wanna turn around and just go home as you stand against it with your hand on the handle, ready to open it at any given time.
That’s before you hear the pound of thunder and a thousand droplets of water start splashing down on you. Without thinking you start to sprint to Eddie’s trailer. You bang on the door and as you wait for him the lack for an awning on his trailer forces you to stand in the cold. Soon the door swings open to revel Eddie, standing in nothing but his boxers and a toothbrush in his mouth. Great. He definitely wants to have sex now. God you were so stupid.
“Caught me at the worst time.” He mumbles against the toothbrush. He gives you a playful look. You just roll your eyes and shake your head. “Give me a second I need to get dressed.” He says before closing the bathroom door. His words contradict your thinking. God you needed to control your thoughts and just trust him. He's not like other guys. He’s Eddie.
Moments later he is stumbling out of the bathroom in a pair of grey sweatpants and a white t-shirt. He comes up to you and holds his arms out for you to give him a hug.
“I’m kinda soaked right now I don’t think you want a hug.”
“Shit y/n,” His name on your lips gives you chills, and it’s not from the coldness of his trailer, “Why didn't you tell me sooner.” He jogs to his room and returns with a big tie die t-shirt. He hands it to you.
“Is your uncle here?” You ask cautiously.
“Ugh no, just us.” You nod and slowly peel off your shirt in the middle of the tiny living room, followed by your bra. You look up at Eddie who is obviously trying to respect you by looking everywhere but your chest.
“You know you’re not gonna kill me if you look at me.”
“Just wanna respect your personal space.”
“I’m getting naked in your living room, I think if I didn't want you to look I would have went to the bathroom.” You say as you start kicking off your jeans. “Is it ok if I’m just in my underwear?”
“Whatever you're most comfortable in.” He beams. “So wanna watch a movie? Order pizza? Chinese?”
“Definitely craving Chinese.”
-
“Let me chip in Eddie.”
“Hell no. I got so much money from this deal. Jason’s dumbass and his 10 million friends payed like double for half ounces. Each. Wanna treat my sick princess.” You roll your eyes at his nickname. He runs to the door, quickly handing the man money and closing it.
He probably ordered too much food for the two of you. But in his own words, fuck it I’m hungry you’re hungry. And he got a ridiculous amount of money from Jason and his goons.
So now you’re bundled up with about 5 blankets that Eddie grabbed after searching for all of them for a solid 5 minutes. You’re close to him. Shoulder against shoulder. Heads centimeters apart. You’re both holding plates full of food, watching a terrible horror film Eddie threw on. You’re both not really paying attention. Eddie talks about his deal with Jason. He gets a little excited and starts his exaggerating explaining that you love so much.
“He’s gonna call me a freak for the soul reason that I play dnd and sell weed and then go and buy those drugs? Are you shitting me!”
“That’s the kinda world we live in.”
“I’m happy I upcharged him. Should have tripled it to be honest.”
“Should have quadrupled that asshole.” You say encouraging him. “He probably would have paid it too.”
You both discard you’re empty plates on the table. You’re still sitting fairly close to each other but not enough to Eddie’s liking.
“Cmon.” He says as he opens his arm to gesture you into cuddling closer to him. You roll your eyes but comply as you scoot closer to him so his arm is around your shoulder. You place your head on his shoulder. “You look so pretty.” He says not moving his eyes from you.
“I look like a wet rat.” You reply, snorting.
“A pretty rat.” He says those brown orbs staring into your whole soul. You shake your head and turn your head back to the tv. The movie is nearing it’s end, the final scenes of slashing coming to end soon. It’s still pretty early as the credits roll down the screen. Only around 11 pm.
“Wanna chill in my room. Wanna show you this new riff I came up with.” You smile up at him and nod. You both leave the mountain of blankets to move through the metal trailer. You reach his tiny room and immediately jump onto his bed, resting your back against the pillows. He grabs his guitars and starts warming up. You like this. Just hanging out with him. Without being high or having sex. Just like friends. Just like boyfriend and girlfriends.
“Ready.” You give him a slight hum before he's blaring the most beautiful sounds from his guitar. He might not be the best guitar player, he's good and his sound travels through your ears like magic. He keeps going, playing with different rhymes and sounds. You get up from his bed and start to look at yourself in the mirror. Eddie notices this and hangs up his guitar.
“What are you doing?” Eddie asks coming up from behind you, wrapping his arms around you.
“Just thinking what I would look like pregnant.”
“I volunteer to be your baby daddy.” He playfully says before he runs his fingers across your stomach. He moves back onto his bed, leaning against the pillows. You slowly follow after him, delicately. Eddie notices, like a flower. You sit next to him.
“You wanna have kids?” Eddie asks to break the silence.
“Yeah, when I’m older. Like after college and I have a stable job. Stable boyfriend or husband.”
“Wanna live that suburban house wife life.” Eddie says elbowing your side.
“What about you?”
“Haven’t really thought about it much. Wouldn't mind having a little mini me running around.”
“Aww a little Eddie.”
“Our kids would be adorable.” Eddie says without much thought. Not until seconds later when it goes radio silent.
“Our kids?” You whisper into the air.
“Just you know a hypothetical, if you were to get pregnant. And we had a kid together. I just meant if it hypothetically happened.” Eddie scrambles to place words out of his mouth.
“It’s ok, Eddie I knew what you meant.”
“You’re so naughty. Always messing with me.”
“You know me.” You say sitting down next to him, “When did you get all these?” You ask placing your arms on his tattoos of the bats.
“Well I got this one from a guy at the hideout when I was like 16. He did it in the back of his van it was amazing,” Eddie says referring to the bats. He then moves to the goblin puppet tattoo he has on his forearm. “Got this one when I freshly turned 18. Little birthday gift to myself.” He holds out his forearm so you can run your fingers across the inked drawing. The soft pads of your fingers sends shivers down Eddie’s back, shivers he never wants to get rid of.
You move your hand to point out the one on his upper arm by his bicep. “This one is my favorite.” You say pointing out another demon looking type creature. Eddie smiles as you run your fingers across it too.
“Then that one’s my favorite too.” He says, you look up at him. He's already looking at you with his soft eyes. The smile on his face is priceless. Small, closed and simple. But you love it. “You should get one. Like a pretty flower or a heart.” You shake your head and roll your eyes.
“Yeah so my parents and friends can kill me.”
“Fuck what they think. Your friends don’t like me either way.”
“They do like you and so do my parents. And if you want them to still like you I suggest you not convince me to get a tattoo.”
“You’re right, gotta keep the in-laws happy.” You send him a glare followed by a giggle. Eddie always makes jokes about your parents being his in-laws. He says since he lets you wear his hellfire shirt and smoke his weed you’re practically married without strings attached.
“You’re crazy.” You whisper.
“That’s why you love me. You rather me be boring like Jason. Probably takes like two puffs and is out cold.”
“You really really hate Jason.”
“He's been tormenting me since he got to high school. A freshman harassing me? A junior. Bullshit.”
“Total bullshit.” A comfortable silence falls between the two of you.
“I’m tired.” You say starting to lay down on Eddie’s bed. He follows behind you, pushing his body against yours, with his arm wrapping itself around your waist.
“Me too.” He whispers in your hair. You relax in his hold. He's a soft body to cuddle against. You both mold together perfectly, you always thought you did with him. No matter what you were doing. Now after tonight it feels multiplied by a thousand. But you both don't say anything more. Neither of you can. Afraid it might ruin the moment or what you have created as a whole. You both decide to wait a little longer. Besides who doesn't love a slow burn.

14/NOV/20XX
paps is feeling much better, but it's probably for the best that he doesn't jump straight into his usual routine immediately.
undyne refuses to train with him until she's sure that he's completely healthy again.
he's pretty upset about that, but he's not letting the time go to waste.
paps and frisk are up there hanging out in his room.
they're doing a puzzle, i think.
said it would be,
"QUITE THE UNDERTAKING."
they've been planning this for a while, apparently.
——
those two've been up there a while.
haven't seen either of them in about three hours.
wasn't kidding about it being an undertaking.
...
maybe they're just really bad at that puzzle.
——
"knock, knock."
"...Why's he saying it out loud?"
"HE JUST DOES."
"IT'S SO THAT HE DOESN'T HAVE TO 𝘈𝘊𝘛𝘜𝘈𝘓𝘓𝘠 KNOCK."
"...knock, knock."
"YOU CAN COME IN!"
sprawled out over the floor was probably a couple thousand puzzle pieces, a few piles of them, and about half of a picture.
"...wow."
"It's taking forever."
"YOU DON'T HAVE TO STAY IF IT'S BORING YOU, FRISK."
"Wouldn't still be here if I wasn't enjoying it. I'm in this for the long haul!"
"seems like a.. unique form of torture."
"SANS, WE USED TO DO THESE ALL THE TIME TOGETHER!"
"you did most of 'em."
"NOT TRUE! YOU HELPED."
"OH, WAIT! DID YOU COME IN HERE FOR SOMETHING?"
"just checkin' in. need anything?"
frisk looked between two identical pieces.
"A bigger brain..."
"WE'RE DOING ALRIGHT, I THINK."
"ok. good luck on your torture."
"IT'S NOT TORTURE!!"
——
"knock, knock."
"FRISK, CAN YOU PLEASE MOVE THAT PILE?"
"OKAY, YOU MAY ENTER NOW!"
"heya."
"brought some appy slices."
"APPLE SLICES ARE A SOPHISTICATED AND MATURE SNACK! DO NOT CALL THEM-"
"Thanks for the appy slices, Sans!"
"....THAT."
"seems like you got out-ruled. you gotta call 'em appy slices now."
"I WILL NOT."
"i take it you don't want any, then."
"WAIT! I DO!!"
"gotta use the right name."
he sighed.
"SANS, COULD I PLEASE JUST HAVE THE.."
"APPY"
"SLICES?"
"...THAT STUPID GRIN ON YOUR FACE IS EXACTLY WHY I DIDN'T WANT TO!!"
"it's just like when you were a babybones..."
"What? You took care of Papyrus as a baby? I knew you were older, but I figured it was by like, two years."
"nope. seven."
"Wait, that means..."
"...Papyus, you're-"
"DON'T SAY IT."
"he's old."
"AM NOT!"
"ancient. decrepit."
"NO!!"
"he's falling apart as we speak.."
"GET OUT!!!"
he took the plate of apple slices, pushed me to the door, and closed it behind me.
——
.....
they're still up there.
how they have the attention span to do that for so long is a mystery.
every time i bring water or snacks up, it's looked like they're getting closer and closer to being done, though.
——
the absolute pain radiating off of frisk and paps upon discovering there was one piece missing...
it was devastating.
......
turned out, the piece was just in the box.
anyway, the finished puzzle's neat.
it's a big townscape, with a bunch of tiny details and scenes and whatnot.
pretty cool.
pretty big, too. sorta taking up a lot of the floor.
but they don't wanna destroy it just yet, so they're just..
sitting around the finished product.
waiting for the sadness of packing it up to dissipate, i guess.
"you could just glue it together."
"THAT COMPLETELY RUINS THE POINT OF A PUZZLE!!"
"THE POINT IS THAT YOU HAVE TO PUT IT TOGETHER TO SEE THE IMAGE!"
"NOT JUST HAVE THE WHOLE THING."
"Sucks to get rid of it, though."
"....IT DOES.."
——
both sat and stared at it for a while.
frisk eventually made the first strike, tearing up a corner and shattering the pieces everywhere.
"Nothing lasts forever!! Puzzles be da-"
"Danged!!"
"..sure. whatever that means."
following suit, paps started ripping pieces off as well.
"NYEH!! THERE!"
"..Yeah, Nyeh!"
"NO, NO. PUT MORE FORCE BEHIND IT!"
"Nyeh!!"
"MORE!!"
"Nyeh!!!!"
"PUT YOUR ALL INTO IT!!!"
"NYEH!!!!!!!"
"PERFECT! YOU SOUNDED VERY COOL!!"
——
that puzzle apparently really tuckered paps out.
(although, maybe it's partly because he's just barely getting over his cold.)
didn't even have to read to him before he went right to sleep.

i haven’t written anything in days, so here, have all of this 😌 more from fwb buck 1.0.2
thanks for the tags loves @spotsandsocks @spaceprincessem @buddierights 🩵
With one last look in the mirror and another fluffing to the couch pillows, Eddie took in a deep breath, closing his eyes as he let it out slowly.
The ringing of the doorbell had him immediately on edge all over again, Eddie taking in another breath before moving toward his door and pulling it open.
As it turned out, Eddie had prepared himself for everything but meeting Buck.
Buck was tall, having a couple inches on Eddie. His legs were miles long, Eddie getting lost on them a moment before stopping at his thighs, ones that were thick and stretching the material of his jeans. The guy was wearing a light blue long sleeve on top, ones with buttons at the top. He looked nice, good. None of it was what really caught Eddie’s attention though. No, that would be the piercing blues he had, the ones that were brought out with the color of his shirt. They were so blue, like two pools that Eddie wanted to dive right into. Apart from his eyes, Eddie became lost in the blotchy mark above his left eye; it had to be a birthmark. Eddie now knew why his black and white photos had looked odd on that part of his face.
“Even better in person, huh?”
Oh, so the guy was a flirt on and off the screen? Well, Eddie didn’t mind. He could handle himself just fine.
“I wasn’t expecting you to have giraffe legs, but I guess you’ll do.”
Buck let out a laugh, one that went straight to Eddie’s heart. It was hearty, and full of life. Eddie immediately committed it to memory.
Buck peered around him, then, Eddie looking back to follow his gaze.
“Well I wasn’t expecting—” Buck gestured with his hands, Eddie still confused.
“Wasn’t expecting what?”
Eddie stepped back to let Buck in, the man taking a cautious step passed the threshold.
“Is this the part where you murder me?”
Eddie whipped his head around, raising his brows to Buck.
“What—jesus Buck, what are you even talking about?”
Buck gestured his hands around again, waving toward the kitchen area. “That. What—why’s it so dark, and what the hell is with all the candles?”
Buck took another step, brows furrowed. “Did you know that over twenty-three-thousand fires are started a year from candles? That’s over three percent of fire related incidents!”
Eddie’s eyes widened a bit. He had no idea why Buck was so concerned with the candles, nor where or why he had all of these facts about them.
“Buck, half of those are fake…battery operated. And they’re to help set the mood…” He trailed off, Buck’s face scrunching up a bit, Eddie instantly finding it all too adorable.
“Oh.” Buck paused after that, not saying anything for a moment. He scratched at the back of his head, his shirt lifting up a tinge, Eddie unable to track the movement.
“I uh, I didn’t realize this was like an actual date.”
Oh.
Eddie was the one who was confused then. Buck looked ready to bolt at any moment, Eddie desperate to hold onto him for some reason.
it’s late and i’m sure everyone’s done this but incase you haven’t and wanna share something: @heartbeatdiaz @redlightsandicedtea @loveyourownsmiilee @justsmilestuffhappens @onward--upward @honestlydarkprincess @monsterrae1 @alyxmastershipper @elvensorceress @eddiesbicowboy @stanningsky @jacksadventuresinwriting @wh0re-behavi0r
