How Peter Griffin helped me realize I was trans.

No, that title isn't a joke. My heavy Peter Griffin kin geniunely helped guide my path to realizing I was a transgender male.

I'm not gonna lie- I used to make fun of kinning when I was younger when I was a kid with unrestricted internet access & made fun of all these concepts that were fairly new to me at the time. I think I realized kinning wasn't bad when I was 12 but acted like I hated it because I didn't want my friends to make fun of me. Said friends donot talk to me or atleast changed their mindset on kinning. When I was around 14/15, I became more invested in the kin community. I realized that most of the things that described kin fit me perfectly. I always related to Peter Griffin- He was my favorite character in Family Guy, besides Brian & Lois. Yet, the word "relate" didn't fit strong enough to me. I felt "related" to Peter to a more spiritual connection sort of way. Even to this day, it's a bit hard to explain but that's a story for another day when I can find the words to say it. Anywho, I eventually realized my feelings aligned with kin. I won't lie, I was in heavy denial since kinning Family Guy is considered cringe & we're not quite at that point where it's considered normal. I tried to identify with my kin of Stan Marsh more since South Park kin is considered less embarassing. I do kin Stan, but it's not as heavy as Peter so I felt like I was being someone else. Sounds familiar to another experience of pretending to be someone you're not, right? Anywho.. I was known as a Stan Marsh kin for about 3-ish years or so. Yet I couldn't hide the Peter kin I was hiding. By the time I was 18,I accepted it. I realized I can't hide who I truly identify with, and accepted it. I told some friends- They were more accepting than I expected. I felt so happy. I decided to go by Peter as a second name (Keep in mind, I identified as a female at the time but I thought of Peter as a gender neutral name (If you think about it, all names are inherently gender neutral.). Yet, I still didn't feel right. There was a weight off my chest, but it wasn't fully off. I started feeling uncomfortable with my deadname being used & started using Peter as my first name. But then I realized she/her pronouns weren't working for me either once I made the leap to being called Peter- I asked people to refer to me by any, but secretly I meant don't call me she/her. I started asking those close to me to use he/him and they/them interchangeably for a week, and I realized he/him made me more comfortable than both she/her and they/them. It was at that moment I realized I wasn't a female. I was a male, born in the wrong body. (I know I realized I was FtM pretty late in life, but keep in mind during my teen years I was coerced into following some pretty crappy ideologies + the environment I grew up in IRL just wasn't for trans people + Just had an incredibly low self esteem growing up to realize the reason I felt miserable was because of dysphoria.). And then I realized.. Embracing my Peter kin was the core reason that led me to figuring out my true identity. If I hadn't accepted it & let cringe culture take over my life, I would've never realized my true self. I would've stayed closeted and self conscious my whole life. I'm proud to say I'm a happier person now after coming to terms with both things.. I'm planning on starting testorone once everything in my life is settled- I'm currently in college and work a 9-5 job, so once I graduate & move from my state I'm excited to start the path of turning into my true self. I'm glad I got to share this story with yall, I used to be embarassed about it but I've learned to embrace the "cringe " sides of me, realizing I was much happier.

Fallen Hero: Sidestep 7

already at 7, been doing this for a straight week and I am not even half way lol. I play this game too much. Anyway:

Name: Wu Mei

Gender: female she/her

Villain name: Entity

Villainous role: hero hunter

Motivation: justice

Scar: outsider

Reason for gala: money

Where is she now?: free, innocent, and planing

   Mei is probably my most put together sidestep. She definitely has her stuff put together a lot more than the others I’ve gone over! Not saying she doesn’t have problems because she certainly does. As sidestep she never felt that she truly belonged, she was a vigilante, could never show her face, and could never become a ranger; as Chen was so quick to remind her. After heartbreak though it got worse. She felt abandoned, inhuman, like an “other”. I think she’s working through the trauma of heartbreak though, so there is hope of her feeling “human” again.

   Wu Mei wants justice for what happened to her. What is happening to regenes like her. However, due to the enemy being essentially the US government, she doesn’t believe the heroes would ever side with her. They would prefer to side with their own kind. So, she deals with them; however, she rarely kills. She never kills civilians and will usually only kill villains and enemy agents when absolutely necessary. She even saves people when she can. She doesn’t understand why she still feels the need to save others, they’re humans. Humans would never help her, humans would never save her. So why does she feel like she still needs to be a hero?

   Anyway, in terms of relationships Mei keeps her distance.. or tries to. Mortum is simply a business associate, Herald is her student (MUCH to her chagrin), and Argent and her tolerate each other (buuuuut Argent gets along great with Entity). The problems arise with Ortega and Chen. Ortega (Ricardo in this run) is her best friend. Her first friend, her brother, her only family. She tried to stay away, but whenever Ricardo asks for help she comes. She really can’t say no to him, I don’t think Ortega knows the power he has over her. Then there’s Chen, despite how they were during the sidestep days Chen and Mei started to become friends. It was slow, but it seemed that time had made these two compatible for a strong bond. Then Chen told Mei that he had pictures of an “autopsy”. Mei ran, she felt like every fear she had of humans were being proven true. They knew, they knew and they didn’t save her; because she wasn’t worth it. She isn’t human.

   After what happened with Chen all of Mei’s relationships are pending. The future of all of them, including her and Ortega, are dependent on how Revelations go. It could reinforce Mei’s scar and fears or Mei could open up. Actually let someone in and tell them the truth… about being a regene, good god, she’s never telling them she’s Entity.

Fun facts!:

Mei only chain smokes when anxious. People around her might say that she always chain smokes around them. That’s her secret captain… she’s always anxious around humans.

Back when Mei was homeless in the sidestep days she would sleep in particular parks that people didn’t go to as often so the thoughts of pigeons and other birds would wake her up rather than humans.

Even though she has tons of money, Mei lives at her base at the electronic repair shop. She even tries to live within the income of what business she actually gets from business. She thinks that buying “luxuries” makes her feel that she’s “trying too hard to be human.”

There are only a few vibe quotes I have for Mei, if I share one though it’s very simple: “Dreaming is free.”

No romance for her yet, but after reading the lore post with Mortum and Sky-Raider (which I highly recommend reading if you haven’t) I think Sky-Raider may be the one for her!

Now for stats, armor, and appearance:

Mei prefers anonymity at 75%, empathy at 80%, and caution at 89%! She prefers power of mind at 80, though I remember her subtle manipulation not being far off either.

Armor and appearance: scary. Eldritch looking, all black with white pinprick eyes. Actually seeing the details of the armor doesn’t help it be less scary, tentacles like attachments burst from the face and others look like they are wrapping around the arms and legs with what looks like a maw of teeth and eyes on the torso.

Add ons: armor and telepathy

Extra: the voice modulator is made to look sound like multiple voices.

Wu Mei’s appearance:

Race: Asian

Height: medium. I’m imagining around 5ft 6in (1.67m)

Hi I love your genderfluid!Lucy fics. What are your headcanons about Leon? Like what are some differences how he acts/what he likes as opposed to Lucy?

Hi anon, thanks! I had a lot of fun writing them, and I'm so glad you enjoy them! Rambly thoughts under the cut:

(I'm like a lot of people, where I've got a bunch of different versions of each character in my head. So not all headcanons are from the same version/verse.)

Leon tends to go the extra mile to be chivalrous. At first he wanted to be as cuddly as she can be as Lucy (and sometimes he could be!), but some of it is just… a lot. And Alex and Maggie start to notice when he's there but not present and they're finally like, "what's wrong? Because you forcing yourself to do something you assume we want actually doesn't make us feel good." So they actually talk and figure out what works for everyone (for Leon, it's the full contact cuddling that makes him uncomfortably aware; touch that's less overwhelming is still good and he still wants that). So aside from physical affection, he really likes being able to show affection through chivalry, with the bonus being that he likes being able to express his masculinity that way too. (And as far as director sanvers goes, the way it ends up going is that they all take turns doing things for each other and making each other feel special.)

That said, Leon does get a lot more comfortable with physical intimacy after top surgery. There are still times when the most he wants is to be shoulder to shoulder on the couch, of course. But he likes how he can wrap his arms around Alex and Maggie without feeling dysphoric, how having someone rest their head on his chest feels euphoric and more intimate than it ever has. The flip side is that cuddling with breast forms feels different when she wears them, but it's not that big a deal because it's mostly an aesthetic thing for her - she has some tops and dresses that just work best with some boob.

Sort of an addendum to the chivalry point above: when it comes to rowdy or confrontational strangers, Lucy can be more likely to engage and push back, especially early on. The calculation of how safe that is (even though he's just as capable of defending himself) is a little different for Leon: him being read (correctly) as a man might mean someone is quicker to violence, and someone might read him as relatively more gender nonconforming and take that as an invitation as well. Of course Lucy isn't exempt from targeted harassment, and verbal harassment can be more common, but Lucy has had more practice dealing with that type. Leon would rather prioritize safety since it can be harder to read the situation. (That said, I sometimes envision Lucy on low dose T and more masc presenting, and in those cases, this distinction doesn't exist quite like that, and can even flip.)

@endersbegin and I have talked about Lucy using pressure for comfort, and then @nerdsbianhokie happened to write a super sweet fic with ace!Lucy and a weighted blanket, so that's been folded into my headcanon for genderfluid!Lucy too. It's one of their go-tos when the dysphoria etc makes touch off putting.

There's a different energy Lucy brings when she dances compared to Leon. It's always energetic, always liberating, always themself—but he likes how even with the same choreo, he can change just a few things about how he moves his body—more precision in his torso in one place, looser with his arms in another—it fits how he wants to express himself.

And just in terms of like, day to day how Leon acts, I don't really see him being distinctly different (especially since I don't headcanon Lucy as conforming to female gender norms all that much, even though she does in some aspects). There are differences I've mentioned here and written about, obviously, like different boundaries with touch and differences in gender presentation. But like. I think Lucy struggles at first and worries about over/under performing gender and what that all means and whether they should be doing things differently, but eventually they're just like. "No matter what I think, there are genders I feel intrinsically and they change over time. And there are things I can do to feel more at peace with myself as they change. So I should just do those things, regardless of how stereotypically masculine or feminine those things are." So sure, Leon does usually get euphoria from stereotypically masculine things, and vice versa, but also, at the end of the day, they just want to be happy as themself, and that's easier when they feel free to fuck with gender norms. They want their gender acknowledged, definitely, that's so important for them—they just don't want expectations for how that should look. And as it turns out, the way they behave isn't strongly tied to their gender. (And Alex and Maggie will be like, yeah you're equally ridiculous regardless of gender (affectionate) lol)

Zeena (Sonic Series)

1 - I'm gonna be honest. This is all the characters I know from the series: Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Rogue, Amy, E-102 Gamma, Big the Cat, Cream, and Doctor Robotnik, his stupid robots from that dumb show I liked as a kid and Shadow. Then the Zeti gang, I do not remember anyone else but my dumb lizards and the Sonic's original crew mostly. Then I guess Surge and Kitsunami as I thought their story was cool. I am open to other characters within the series, however, as god did they make a lot of characters over the years.

2 - This character while capable of extreme evil such as even enslaving Sonic potentially or Tails? She mostly just goes along with things and is okay with a lot of messed up stuff happening. So be warned if that's an issue as she's a darker character for Sonic in concept.

3 - This character is open to shipping but she's uh, not going to change herself as a person. If that's an issue for your character? Then it simply won't work, she might become more passive in terms of evil, but brutality wise no.

4 - This character is egotistical enough that if she likes you and you basically play kiss ass? She will probably help you adventure, even if she doesn't care what you're doing. I will probably have her on 'trained' as a tag so she can keep up with Sonic if with a stronger character like him. As I do consider Tails, Sonic, Knuckles, Shadow, Rogue, Amy etc all on levels ahead of Zeena, but mostly because she doesn't put forth in effort. Her species is usually just innately that powerful from the harsh environment, but the Deadly Six are exceptional and so is she. I say this mostly because Sonic is well, Sonic along with his friends that all go 'Super' at some point or another. I'd be fine with her absorbing some good amount of energy to go a form of 'Zeti Super' if you wanted a battle of some kind to that scale.

5 - I am rusty with the lore of her game but remember mostly what happens and rewatched some things, read a few comics, wikis. I more or less have an idea of what I'm going to do.

Just gonna use the canon design, honestly? Yup, even if Lost World sucked for a lot of it. This is one thing they got right, especially if my friggin' brain worms came back after seeing her and the personality years later in the remake/resurgence. I am very canon compliant in this instance for this character but I have a lot of my own flare as noted below.

Do I want them to die: Hrm, no I don't think it's really needed for the series? Robotnik comes back constantly, so I can't see why she can't. Will I have/get icons: I have them, they were a pain to get. Tag: zeti vained (default, multiverse and canon) - trained z (See Powers Below) Age: An adult but her species doesn't age after reaching maturity. Sex: AMAB Gender: Trans Female, she's the only girl of the Deadly Six and seemingly one of the few 'Females'? Soooo yeah. She's trans. She/he, open to the idea of male wife or otherwise. Race: Zeti (Lizard-Ogre/Like Alien Species with great Variance, but mostly reptilian. They've been noted as 'Demons' or based off of Oni) Sexuality: Anyone that is up to her standards and also willing to absolutely kneel to her. But herself always comes first... right? Personality traits: Self-absorbed. Extreme Perfectionist. Extremely narcissistic, lazy, even if she's considered one of the 'stronger' of the group. While she's rather lazy even still later on? She at least trains enough to go head-to-head with Sonic or one of his friends solo in my own fanon. Cold Hearted. Cruel. Extremely selfish. Indifferent. Is rather serious when capable. Fashion savvy, extremely vain. Flirty even while fighting, likes to talk while fighting. Terrifying temper at times if pushed enough. Sadistic, malicious, likes pain. Vengeful. Sassy. Likes to argue, makes fun of people and be REALLY mean about it. Likes to gossip. Calm, stand-offish. Distant. Extremely Loyal if earned. Might be willing to get close enough to be held if she likes you. Loving isn't her strong-suit, however, but can in her own way. Enjoys food, entertainment, certain machines or even games, though... does cheat using her Zeti powers if she's losing bad enough. Enjoys lounging. Slight disdain towards masculine figures. Bit of a wanderer to chill. Lonely deep down at times. Does enjoy a bit of fun. Likes good insults to people. Tends to like friendly aggression back and bonds that way and can become really handsy, it's a specific thing, however. It's different from pissing her off. If she likes you? She will probably pester you, tease, eat all your food, laze in your house without asking, bother you randomly, look through your things. But she's also down to murder people for you no questions asked, go on adventures even if both of you might die, then also actually try to save you? Mostly because you're 'hers' at that point, regardless of relationship, even if not enslaved to her. Granted, expect to massage that ego every step of the way. Mental traits: That of a Zeti. A rather alien mindset, albeit is somewhat relatable though brutal. Physical traits: 3'5 canonically. Has no form of breasts and her 'clothes' is actually just her body, apparently. I'm just as surprised as you are, but that's apparently her skin/scales. Her scales are tough but extremely smooth. Her 'hair' is actually that of feathery down rather than actual hair, it's incredibly fluffy if touched, but if torn or ripped? The fibers penetrate the skin, hide and clog up even machines and then her hair quickly grows back near instantly, but also does piss her off as well. Powers: Most of this is canon powers and then flavoring her in-game specific powers with more illustration, with the exception of 'trained z'. Then going off her wiki as well.

1. Zeti Innate Anatomy and Powers: All Zeti's have the following abilities: Magnetism Manipulation, such as manipulating robots, electronics and so on, taking control of them with ease. Enhanced Durability, Speed, Strength, Jump. Flight. Then a unique form of energy projection for each Zeti. Then just certain sub-powers depending on what it is. (If your character is a robot, machine 2. Zeena's form of energy manipulation: Despite her size? She has extreme physical strength, much more than one would expect, along with speed and dexterity. Using large metal balls much bigger than herself attached to green tethers to rock, roll and move at extreme speeds. These green energy tethers can be manipulated, controlled and absorb energy or latch onto objects, people to use as a weapon, smash, or even energy-whip people.

3. Zeena's minor unique powers: the ability to move through ice, snow and water as if simply flowing through it even if not fracturing ice for example. Assuming she does not need to breathe for this. Then the ability to move at extreme speeds though I believe Sonic is faster but she can keep up with him, mostly from what I'm basing on her being able to plant bombs in an area in a matter of seconds.

4. Weaponry Use: she will use bombs, traps and other things, it seems in canon in other instances such as the comics. Though they're not her main form of attacking if a sudden fight breaks out. Then those claws aren't just for show, granted, she hates using them on anything other than flesh or hide due to not wanting to scratch them to ruin her 'nail-job'.

Trained Z: this is specifically if she trains being able to keep up and even go head to head with Sonic or Sonic-Level Enemies after the events of Lost Worlds if by herself. 5. Enhanced Energy Manipulation: Zeena using a combo of her deceptive strength then energy tethers and metal balls? Will form a flail of sorts that consists of two to four of them and manipulates their spatial trajectory, then using them to slam, smash while also retaining her speeds and swinging them around. Then also using her innate abilities to have the tethers shoot out, link and form something like that of a web from the balls, then the balls capable of linking to surfaces, moving, and detaching. She can also choose to have them all separate in general, slamming to have them shoot like that of a cannon in great force in all directions while controlling their movement. Then usually, she keeps her other hand free to control the tethers, manipulate them and also latch and whip people to ensnare them or beat them down. In other words, to sum it up: a tether flail that can be used to make a green energy battlefield to whip, trap and brutalize her opponents through actual torture and precise brutality. Then the metal/hard-material balls acting as the flail heads or actual she will pin-ball you to death. Motivations: Chill. Eat Good Things. Have Fun. See the next day. Laze about. Be perfect in every way. Maybe be held. Backstory: The wiki's backstory and then anything else? Well, you'll just have to get her to tell you herself.

i just saw somebody do this and it made me want to do it as well. For me, these headcanons are largely subject to the AU that I'm writing or the version of canon that I'm working with (PJO versus HoO versus ToA etc. etc.) so some of these may contradict!!!! and that's okay baby we love them anyway. the idea is from @/s3okj (I'm not entirely sure if they're okay with being tagged). Also this got really long so I'm putting the actual HC under the cut SORRY

(some of) my lgbt pjo/hoo headcanons

Percy: bisexual almost always, though he also fluctuates between being aromantic/asexual or some blend therein. I also tend to hc that he forms really close, non-romantic bonds with people that are often misconstrued as romantic (Grover, Piper, Nico, etc. etc.) but that he is polyam which makes it fun when he's trying to explain who is his boyfriend/girlfriend versus his nonromantic partner.

He uses he/him pronouns more often than not, but sometimes he winds up with he/they pronouns (or even he/they/she pronouns) in AUs where he leaves camp for some time to himself and meets some mortals. I think that if asked, he would describe himself as genderqueer/genderfluid. I do usually headcanon him as AMAB.

Annabeth: I almost always hc her as biromantic asexual. That is in part because I hc the Athena cabin in general to have a predilection for asexuality ngl. I HC that she doesn't necessarily identify as polyam, but that she is okay with being in a polya relationship, she just only tends to keep maybe one or two romantic partners herself in that case.

This one is actually very new in that I've not used it in any writing yet, but now I hc that she is a trans girl and uses she/her pronouns.

Grover: TBH I don't write him as much as I should, considering. I would say he's...biromantic but heterosexual? I think? That's kind of where I'm leaning, I think that he labels himself that way but that he's only really ever had a crush on one boy, and then he met Juniper and it was game over for him.

Again, I've never really written him, so I haven't had time to develop any "non-canon" HC for his gender. In my head he's a cis male who uses he/him pronouns.

Thalia: I love hc Thalia as aroace but with a tendency to form QPRs with people because of her feelings of being abandoned by her mom. I think that she cares really really deeply for people, but that she's never really experienced what people always describe as "love".

Thalia in my mind is very "just call me whatever you want to call me", but she DOES like when people pull out the non-she pronouns. I hc her as a cis female.

Nico: My boy! Nico to me is homosexual but biromantic. sometimes he's biromantic asexual (can you see a trend with these so far hm it's almost like I ~project~) but more often than not he's allo. I think he just loves so much sometimes that he doesn't really know what to do with himself (he's polyam in my HC as well which I think he'd be scared of), not to mention the fact that he wasn't really raised in a way that let him explore identities etc. I think that he doesn't realize he's biromantic because he didn't realise that the way he experiences romantic attraction could be different from the way he experiences sexuality (I also HC that either Will or Percy is the one who taught him the language to differentiate). He is the one who flip flops most consistently between being trans and cis, it really genuinely just comes down to the story I'm telling at the time. He goes by he/him no matter what, he finds they/them pronouns uncomfortable (for himself) but is more than happy to help his friends experiment with pronouns.

Will: now THIS BOY. is truly the most unpredictable he could be really just any thing in any given story (except straight, normally he's not straight). I think that he really enjoys the blanket term "queer" and feels very comfortable with that as his label. He's almost never aro/ace, but he'd be comfortable in a relationship with an ace person. I do hc him as polyam sometimes.

He is almost always a trans man in my writing, even if it's not explicitly or implicitly stated. He uses he/they pronouns, though the "they" days are pretty rare and he will tell people if that's his preferred pronoun that day. He also has an ATROCIOUS sense of fashion (that's not a gender/sexuality hc I just think it's funny to dunk on him).

Piper: Another very recent addition to my average HC, but I do see her as biromantic. I think that she'd identify as asexual, but that she's like "Eh" about it, like she's fine either way, she just uses the label kind of as a way to say "I probably won't ever initiate this kind of thing". I also HC that she doesn't realize that she's ace until after her relationship with Jason. I do also think she has a preference for women, but is okay dating men too.

I get very she/they lesbian vibes from Piper. She identifies as nonbinary and LOVES playing with fashion as a means to express herself. I think that she and Percy are fucking killer at coming up with GNC outfits for one another.

Jason: oh, another one of my BOYS okay. So Jason is another one of those ones that kind of fluctuates a lot depending on the story I'm telling. I think I'd say that like Nico, he's homosexual but biromantic, but with WAY more of a penchant towards aro/ace vibes. He's almost always demisexual, and I think he struggles a lot with his attraction to women - I think that he'd feel like a horrible person for a while after he figures out that he's romantically but not sexually attracted to women, because he gets it in his head that that means he's misogynistic/inherently abusive somehow. I tend to HC that he's always known that he was attracted to men but he's always ASSUMED that he was attracted to women as well, and that's where his views of himself get challenged the most, in his relationship with Piper. I also hc him as polyam, but very selectively so - he would only be okay with dating a select few people. He wouldn't mind if his partner had other partners, though.

For a long time Jason was just a cis he/him male in my head, but recently I've been persuaded to the HC that he's trans. I think that it's another thing he's just always known about himself though, like ever since he was a little kid he's always known that he's a boy. Most of the time when I write him he's still cis, but in more of my recent stuff (and hockey AU) he's trans.

Frank: Again, I don't really write Frank as much as I should, considering. I think that he's never really put much thought to his identity, but that he wouldn't necessarily call himself straight either. He's not necessarily asexual, but he's not entirely not, either, and it's kind of the same for his romantic attraction - he's not necessarily into people, but at the same time, he does on occasion "catch feelings" for people (like Leo or Hazel). I think that he's very comfortable existing in his definitively grey-area. I think when someone asks what he is, he says, "I dunno," shrugs, and moves on.

I get cis male he/him vibes, but again, I haven't written much of his character, so that could change. I do think the idea of him identifying as agender could be interesting, like maybe sometimes when he shifts animal forms he's not a male animal and he feels the same way when he's in his human form. That could be interesting.

Leo: here's a fucking doozy. Leo is the most homophobic bisexual guy you will ever meet /hj he's like. So unaware of his attraction to men that he circles around to being weird and an asshole about it, like he's trying so hard to not see that part of himself that he shits on attraction to males in general, all while drooling over his best friend's biceps on the reg. So I DO think that he's bisexual (sometimes he's even just flat out gay) but it would take a pretty drastic thing to happen for him to realize it.

This dude made attack helicopter jokes until Jason or Nico dropped it on him that he's trans one day fr fr. Leo is such that eighth grade bully kind of vibe in my head when it comes to sexuality and gender, he's the kid who's soooo repressed and in the closet that he lashes out at any hint of the LGBT just so people will never attempt to associate it with him. I do think that once he gets his head out of his ass about it, he would identify with he/him pronouns (and privately use it/its pronouns with Festus, though I feel like that's more of him being a downer on himself and removing his own humanness on the days when he's feeling particularly Disconnected from people, ala the Tism. This is not to say that I view it/its pronouns as dehumanizing, I just think that that's how Leo would use them against himself, does that make sense?). So yeah, Leo's an asshole cis male he/him "I don't use pronouns" typa guy /j.

Hazel: I think that she's pretty solidly straight and allo in my mind, but she's also the kind of person who is VERY close to her female friends, to the point that it's sometimes misconstrued as attraction. I think that she's just a very physically affectionate, friendly kind of person and that that reads, in some situations, like she's coming on to people. I do think that's she's very well read on LGBT stuff, and that she kind of was even before Nico came out to her, like I feel as if during her time at Camp Jupiter no matter how limited it was, she discovered some myths with LGBT topics and it FASCINATED her.

She would experiment with pronouns all the time, but I think that she's, at the end of the day, a cis she/her female. I do like to think she's comfortable with any pronouns though, and will sometimes introduce herself with he/him pronouns around kids he suspects might be trans.

Reyna: Reyna is yet ANOTHER character I don't do enough with. I think that she's very firmly aro/ace but that she's constantly at war with herself over the aro part of it, because she experience very very deep platonic bonds with people, like Jason. She's convinced that that is romantic love, even though if anyone asked if she wanted to marry Jason/kiss Jason etc. etc. she'd immediately say no. I think she would eventually settle on idenifying as an asexual lesbian and then just never date anybody ever.

For some reason, I do see Reyna as trans. I think that maybe she didn't realize until on Circe's island or something (i can't remember enough of her canonical past rn to really piece together a proper headcanon) but that she is a trans female who uses she/they pronouns.

Rachel: I guess I kind of have no HC for Rachels sexuality? I'd say ace, because of the whole oracle thing, but I also believe that that was just a copout for Riordan to not have to pursue a love triangle with her anymore so fuck that at the same time. I just think that Rachel is Rachel and she's doing whatever the hell she wants to in that funky cave of hers.

I can see her being genderfluid for some reason, maybe the whole artsy side we see during the canonical books. I just like genderfluid characters alright, sue me.

the local trans support group chat i'm part of has been skewing dangerously close to transmedicalism and gender essentialism. complaining about how our country's more liberal trans laws allow cis people take advantage and make us look bad, so trans people should be screened more thoroughly, cause this is why the trans laws in Hungary and Madrid were thrown away. it's the fault of people who aren't really trans. making fun of older queer people who may not identify as trans and instead still cling to terms like transvestite. telling one trans girl that of course she can't get a girlfriend if she hasn't "fully transitioned", lesbians can just tell and they all want that female je ne sais quoi. she must be delusional if she thinks she can pass (she never sent a pic of herself), testosterone makes you more confident that's why trans women who haven't done HRT think they look good when they clearly don't. and of course lesbians (/all women) aren't as horny as men, even those aloof bi girls that don't care about serious commitment, that's why she can't get a one night stand. at this point the fact one guy said he "doesn't believe" in nonbinary people and that we "bring consequences" to the community is the least of my problems. let's not even get into the lowkey racist jokes.

Wandering Son

This anime continues on those ideas of gender identity and what is gender, with the questions of what makes a girl and what makes a boy. These ideas are shown throughout the anime with cross dressing (i think this is the term we learned in class a while ago), seen by Chizuru wearing the male uniform to school despite being a female. She is questioned on why she is dressed like this and when Takatsuki does the same (he dresses in a girl uniform) he is still being made fun of. This goes to show that society like we discussed in Naruto, doesn't always change for one and sort of pressures us (the individual) to adapt and conform to society if we want to be accepted into it.

As we discussed in class through Gender Performativity, gender and sex are not the same thing as sex is a biological aspect (whether we are born with male or female body parts) and gender is a social construct that we have come to associate with sex (such as boys like sports, the color blue, and cars meanwhile girls like dolls, the color pink and princess crowns). And this anime is something that is pointing that fact out in a very apparent way, showing that gender and sex are not the same thing, people despite their sex are allowed to like what they like and that gender is more of a social construct.

While they both received their hate for cross dressing and expressing themselves as how they pleased Takatsuki feels as if he is receiving more hate for his actions and decisions to dress up as a girl even though that is how he feels he identifies as.

Overall interesting anime, I enjoyed the episodes we had to watch but I dont think I will continue to watch this show.

YES YES thank you for asking abt this uhhh i have been dying to post something about it but i wasn't sure if other people would be interested ? since it's fairly niche but uhh apparently you would >.>

under the cut so as not to utterly flood people's dashes with my ramblings but! click if you'd like some unnecessarily in-depth discussion of 1) how the different realms in obey me deal with gender/gender identity and 2) my personal gender headcanons for the obey me characters. this is mostly pieced together from one night when i went all pepe silvia in discord but hopefully its now somewhat digestible. thanks for your patience! 

ok so first of all: all three realms interpret and approach gender differently. i don’t think any of them are inherently wrong or bad, it’s just unique ways of viewing the same concept. i prefer the devildom way of looking at it but to each their own :] it maybe goes w/o saying but trans people are supported in every realm, no matter how they view gender !

GENDER IN: THE HUMAN REALM

obviously, the human realm in the om! universe views gender pretty similarly to how our world does. this is sort of like our baseline, where humans generally view gender on a male/female binary. (tho i do like to think that this version of earth is more welcoming to nonbinary and trans people, just cuz i do like a bit of escapism <3)

ultimately gender in the human realm is the most simplified version we will see. i actually have a small headcanon that MC, regardless of gender, is referred to with they/them because this simple gender structure doesn’t translate over well to the other realms

GENDER IN: THE CELESTIAL REALM

with that in mind, we can talk about how the celestial realm views gender. this gets into the whole ‘what is the gender of angels/god’ which is probably outside my expertise to talk about, but i will anyway! 

the celestial realm views gender as, ultimately, unimportant. what matters about a person is who they are, like one’s willingness to help others. most of the angels present masculine and use he/him, as in the image of their Father. there are some who choose to use she or they or present feminine (or any combo of pronouns/presentation), but they arent necessarily ‘boy’ angels and ‘girl’ angels. 

it’s basically like this:

so what are you?

i’m an angel!

no, i mean, what’s your gender?

i’m a messenger of our Father

ugh, that’s not what i meant. what’s in your pants?

oh, so that’s where my halo went!

transitioning, for lack of a better term here, is pretty rare in the celestial realm, but it does happen occasionally. michael will update the records with their new name if they so choose, and celebrations are thrown heavenwide in honor of the angel!

GENDER IN: THE DEVILDOM

now, on the flip side, the devildom almost...reveres gender? since they’re the polar opposite of the celestial realm, demons tend to hold gender up into the spotlight instead of rejecting it. this is why we see so many demons presenting as men but having feminine aspects (like asmodeus wearing pink off the shoulder tops or the demons’ painted nails). 

for angels who Fall, this difference can be very jarring and hard to deal with when they become demons. expression is important in demon culture! while angels see all others as made in their Father’s image, demons emphasize the things that make them different from one another. fluidity of identity is particularly celebrated!

GENDER HEADCANONS: BROTHERS

now here’s the fun part, which is how i interpret these characters! feel free to let me know your own headcanons, i love seeing how others view the same characters :] 

LUCIFER: sure, he’s a demon now, but he still somewhat aligns with the celestial view of gender. to him, a person’s character is much more important than how they label themself. he’s just...lucifer. (agender man, he/him) 

MAMMON: has always considered himself a man! one of the rare instances of someone transitioning in the celestial realm. lucifer helped him pick his name :] (trans man, he/him)

LEVIATHAN: levi my beloved <3 ive shared some headcanons on levi’s gender in this post, as well as in the tags of this post. i think he really likes the freedom of demonic gender identity, and is very fluid (genderfluid, he/she/they/it)

SATAN: looooves fucking with gender, particularly if it irritates lucifer. he’s read a ton of gender theory and would love to have discussions about human gender with MC if they want. feels a connection to masculinity, but not to actually being a man (transmasculine, he/they)

ASMODEUS: loves fucking with gender even more than satan does. had gender with your mom last night ;) super gender non conforming, though most of the time you can’t even figure out what gender he is! basically the definition of ‘gender is a performance’ (nonbinary, he/she)

BEELZEBUB: probably doesn’t think too much about his gender. he was told he was a man so he just kind of goes with it. it’s really important to him to align with a healthy form of masculinity! doesn’t seek out pronouns beyond he/him, but wouldn’t mind she/her or they/them (nonbinary man, pronoun indifferent)

BELPHEGOR: similarly to beel, probably doesn’t think too much about his gender. he knows he enjoys being a brother and a twin, but doesn’t care much beyond that. he used to ascribe pretty heavily to celestial gender theory, but after Falling he’s shifted from gender apathy to like. seeing that feeling as his gender identity itself (agender man, he/him)

GENDER HEADCANONS: SIDE CHARACTERS

DIAVOLO: literally just a guy. like hes just a dude but in a slightly fucked up demon way (nonbinary man, he/him) 

BARBATOS: literally look me in the eyes and tell me this dude isn’t a he/they.  he’s not a man, he’s a butler (agender, he/they)

SIMEON: really subscribes to the celestial view of gender/believes that who you are in other people’s eyes is just as important as who you are in your own! doesn’t really identify w gender in any way since angels don’t technically have a binary to deviate from, but in human terms he is (nonbinary, mainly he/him but she/her ok too)

LUKE: also transitioned in the celestial realm! the brothers tease him, but if anybody misgenders the chihuahua, they should be prepared to eat shit (trans boy, he/him)

SOLOMON: started out as a sorcerer while trying to alchemize testosterone. he’s been living as a man so long that sometimes he forgets he’s trans in the first place (trans man, mainly he/him and occasionally they/them)

so this is a little something I wrote last night... I know I usually write female reader stuff but I realized this one has no language pointing towards a specific gender so I figured I’d have it as gender neutral... if there’s anything that references to a specific gender on here though please let me know 🥺

also, i would like to note that i did not come up with this idea myself, i originally saw this idea on one of the FMK Fandom Trope asks that the wonderful and amazing @hdlynn​ (you can find all her amazing writing at @hdlynnslibrary​ ) and i remembered it today and decided to write this little fic to go with it. Here’s her specific ask where the idea was brought up (and yes it was in response to me) so in a way I guess you can say that this fic is in honor to her and her amazing mind and spectacular writing

You and Din had been traveling with Grogu for quite some time when the two of you finally met the Jedi who would help Din complete his quest, yet when the Child- your child- left Din’s arms you weren’t entirely sure what to make of the situation.

Somehow, the two of you made it back onto a ship and headed to Navarro with Cara until you and Din decided to continue traveling, only this time there was no quest to fulfill, no bounty to find, merely two people who clearly love one another enjoying the time they have together.

The two of you had been dancing around your feelings for one another since before finding Grogu the first time, but it took the whole adventure that he had taken you on for the two of you to even come to terms with how you felt- and soon the two of you were no longer friends, but something more.

“Din?” You whispered softly at the man laying next to you under the cover of darkness, “where are we going next?”

You felt his hand run up and down your arm, “Cara said she found another covert, and technically as Manda’lor, I should go visit them.”

“We don’t have to though,” you ran your fingers through his curly hair tenderly, enjoying the softness of his tresses.

Din murmured something in agreement as he snuggled closer into you, “You’re right,” there was a pause, “but they are similar to my own covert, and I’m hoping they could help me find the others.”

His covert had always been a topic of contention with Din, because even though there were times of struggle between him and them, they were his only family for most of his life. You whispered a soft okay and let the two of you fall to the darkness, relishing your time in his arms before having to start your new adventure the next day.

It had taken a couple of days but you and Din had finally made it to this new covert. As the two of you walked off the ship that Cara had given you, it was clear from the way Din’s body loosened up that he felt very much at home… of course you weren’t sure if it was the other Mandalorians or the fact that he’d taken one of your hands from you and held it in a death grip the second the two of you stepped out.

Your eyes widened at the cacophony of colorful beskar surrounding you, merely brightened from the sun hitting them at every angle. You could hear the mother tongue being spoken with such fluidity that you only hoped one day you could make it to that level. Words that you recognized from Din’s own mouth, as well as the book that you’d been learning from reached your ears and you were ecstatic at the fact that you recognized them at all.

You’d hadn’t told Din yet about your progress in learning Mando’a, but hopefully with this new covert, you’d finally be able to show him what you learned.

The alor of this covert approached the two of you and you couldn’t help but notice at the way they avoided having you involved in the conversation- not that you minded. As you allowed yourself to admire everything around you, you couldn’t help but catch a few of the words exchanged between the alor and Din- specifically ner riduur. You knew what those two words meant, especially the second one, but you figured that Din wouldn’t have used such powerful words unless it was important.

Soon the two of you were lead to a room on the outskirts of the covert and you couldn’t help but smile at the alor as you entered. You were so busy looking at your new home for the next couple of weeks that you didn’t realize that Din was still standing at the door, his hand clenching and unclenching constantly. It was only when you finished going around in a circle that you realized what he was doing.

“Din? Why are you so nervous?” You whispered as you watched him from the other side of the room.

You didn’t need his helmet off to know what Din was feeling as the nervousness and despair came off of him like waves crashing alongside the coast.

Din mumbled something that not even the vocoder caught it only to repeat his words again, “They were going to put us in separate rooms, so I told them that- well that we got married recently.”

Your face flushed at the meaning behind Din’s words, but you weren’t surprised as you’d heard them clear as day, “I know.”

You wouldn’t have been sure that Din had heard those two words if it wasn’t for the way his helmet shot up, “You did?”

Your eyes founded safety in the floor in front of you as you nodded your head, “I’d been learning Mando’a after I found a book on the language in a marketplace on day… I- I wanted to surprise you.”

Soon the sight of the floor was replaced by a pair of black boots, and a leather glove softly cupped your cheek before bringing your face up to face a certain helmet, “That is a very nice surprise cyare, thank you.”

Your lips mouthed the words you’re welcome but you weren’t even sure if they fully came out, your eyes too busy searching the black visor in front of you for anything. Din’s helmet soon found its way to rest against yours, and that small act was enough to calm your nerves once again.

It was only under the cover of darkness where you brought up Din’s words with a simple, “so we’re married now…”

You felt Din tense before realizing that you weren’t making fun at him, instead relishing in the future that it brought you- even if for a couple of weeks, “Yes, we are.”

Your lips softly caressed Din’s body before finding their place in the crook of his neck, “Do you think one day we could be married for real?”

“How about tomorrow morning?” Din’s hands worshipped your body as he said those four words. “The sun rises somewhat late here, and we’ll get a nice view from the window.”

You smiled at the thought of being able to call Din your riduur tomorrow and actually mean it, “Tomorrow.”

Make him Italian, probably Southern Italian I like to imagine his family immigrated from the Florentine area

Trans masc

At first he thinks he's just a gnc trans guy but after he starts medical transition he realizes he's nonbinary

Uses he/they pronouns generally

But when people he's close to talk about or to him and they're using nouns to describe him they use female gendered nouns (ex: daughter, lady, girl, etc), and yes these are a part of his gender expression

Also the type of person to hyphenate their deadname with their original middle name as their new middle name

They definitely are the type of person too who just invites invasive and awkward questions (as long as they're being asked in good faith) for educational purposes, and he'll give you the most derailed answer if that's what you want

Also he might be femme but he's not weak and he will beat you up if you're just being unnecessarily transphobic

His dad is a high quality fashion designer and because of this Mitchell is kind of spoiled (okay very spoiled) about clothes, always having high thread count clothes and also personally tailored pieces

They've got some casual plans to take over their dad's business but he thinks that he wants to expand it out into a more affordable fashion market for the average person (they like affordable and sustainable fashion too! The artistic pieces are nice but it's not a long-term sustainable business model!)

He personally dresses very camp, even the cishets look at him and go "oh he's you know... _/‾"

They love a good suit, very gender to him

He's definitely the person who introduces Nico to anime and such... The whole thing just sort of confuses Nico but he likes a couple of them, "Death Note" and some other psychological or horror type stuff

Definitely has some talent when it comes to hair styling, lots of people at camp are always going to him for haircuts and styles so he starts charging $2 or something for it and basically has a summer job at camp

He lives in the New York area year round (honestly, he probably goes home on the weekends sometimes from summer camp and goes to camp for the weekends sometimes in the school year)

Because of how close he is to camp other people in the area will often call him to do their hair and makeup for homecoming/prom/etc and he always agrees unless he's visiting family in Italy or he's touring with his dad

Likes to chill with Austin at the infirmary, partially to hang out but also probably because that's one of the few places in camp that has air conditioning

Will is always getting after him for sitting on the counters, something about it being unsanitary but they don't think it should matter as long as they're not in any of the operating rooms

Austin likes him too much to tell him no but yeah it's not sanitary, but to Austin the choice is a sanitary counter or a happy and comfortable boyfriend... He's picking happy boyfriend

Also Mitchell is very supportive of Austin's music career and always trying to convince Austin to let them use tracks of his music on the runways at their dad's shows

But Austin always says no because he wants to "make it big on his own" which Mitchell thinks is a bit silly but if it's what Austin wants he'll support it

Mitchell is super into camp's drama, they don't do anything with the information or all the secrets they just like knowing all of it

If you ask them to keep a secret they absolutely will

But that embarrassing story about you that went around camp five years ago that you lowkey wish everyone would just stop talking about, he's the one that keeps restarting the cycle

He babbles to Nico all the time about all the ongoings of camp because Nico is also good at keeping his mouth shut, but Nico doesn't care about the drama for the same reasons though (Nico: "Hold on, back up, you said Drew knows Sadie Kane? Interesting..." Mitchell:"okay Mr. Ominous, and also yeah, I did say that, so anyhow... ")

Very artistic person in general, he can probably play the piano okay, he's no professional and no Apollo kid but he can play some songs, and they have enough practice to learn new songs on their own!!

Definitely was voted by camp to have the worst taste in music though

Says his favorite movie is probably "Bring It On" or "Heathers" of something similar, but his actual favorite film is one of those cliche silent black and white ones that's only available in French

They definitely did dance for a few years growing up, has a ballet, tap, and hip hope background to work with but he left it behind when we was 13 or so but eventually they start to get back into hip hop and keep up with various types and lessons and places through their 20s

He's always the person to start groupchats

They think they're fun but they rarely take off without prompting from him

Also often times plays matchmaker for people ("they would be a cute couple wouldn't they? I don't know though, does she like girls? I think so?")

Since you guys enjoyed my male cyberpunk romance options post, I decided to finally get to work on the female/non-binary ones. So first of all, let's start it off with our main girls, Judy and Panam. I plan on doing a part 2 and currently working on the part 2 for the boys.

1st. Judy Alvarez:

I enjoyed her romance quite a bit and love her as a character and I believe since we don't have any lore for her or anything that convinces me otherwise that she should be bi. I think she should be strictly for female/non-binary V with and more feminine features.

I feel that she should've had her own ending and not one that ties into Panam's, one where you decide to leave Night City with her, and or I would've enjoyed it if you could've taken any one of your serious romance options out of town. I feel that an ending with V deciding to call up Judy and there is an option to pack up your things, at least your weapons and clothes and just leave to the next city over. It ends up with you helping Judy and packing up your things in her van, Judy decides to drive and asks you where do you plan on going, you can choose from 3 options. 

The first choice you can say anywhere and that you don't care, you just want to live your final moments with Judy. The second choice should be something like Atlanta to see your family and or to wherever Judy used to live in the past. The last choice you can choose to give Judy some money to leave town and say to wait for her in the next town over so it can lead to you choosing whether to go with Hanako's plans or Johnny's. I can imagine the last ending resulting in Judy being seen,   arguing years later to keep your stuff when she's selling some of her old things. She ends up fighting to keep the necklace that V is always seen with and she wears it, it ends with Judy entering her van and promising to never forget you.

Also, I believe that she and most of the serious romance options should have at least one quest where you can go on a date with your partner, I believe hers would be you helping her with Clouds. Though it's not much of a date, you insisted on helping her fix things, and you guys spend most of your time trying to protect Clouds from The Tyger Claws who end up trying to attack again. It ends with Judy losing hope in Clouds, almost wanting to give up on the place but you can choose to convince her to keep fighting for Clouds. Or to give up and just sell the place and let all the hard work you guys did go to waste. If you choose the first, it leads to Judy promising to come up with more things and saying how she'll make some calls to some more people. The first choice ends with you both making out and you falling asleep at her place after she orders pizza and watches a few movies with you.

The second choice ends with Judy being hopeless and asking to be alone for the moment, ruining the date almost and putting a small dent in your relationship.

I believe that Judy is pretty well developed for a love interest and as a character, she stands strong on her own and is an interesting character who fits well with V. I enjoy their relationship as I do with most of the relationships which are very adult in the way that V tries not to rush things and doesn't promise their love interests the world. The love interests have their own lives and don't act like a bunch of teens or young adults, trying to make drama out of something small. They respect V, they add more to V and give V another reason to keep fighting, another reason to want to live, to get the damned chip out of their head.

Also, I want more Johnny and Judy interactions in the sense that I want to hear more of his thoughts on Judy and hear how he feels about V and them being together. He doesn't seem to hate her and maybe even would like to see that if you romanced Judy and did the Temperance ending he tells only her or your romance interest that you're gone. Well, he does it vaguely or sends your romance interest an anonymous email, vaguely stating that V is gone and that they disappeared/passed. Judy I feel would react in confusion as well as emotionally, she's nearly crying in the voicemails and is talking about the email or voicemail Johnny sent and is asking where are you.

2nd. Panam Palmer:

I like Panam Palmer as a character and I feel that her quests do explore a lot of the nomad lifestyle, her quests explore more about the people of the nomad lifestyle. I feel that she should've been bi and I was hoping that she and Evelyn were the 2 bi options because literally in my first playthrough was worried I was gonna romance her. Cause she was flirting a lot from what I saw and thought that you'd be able to romance her during the sandstorm. I feel she should've been bisexual or pansexual along with Evelyn.

I feel she should be able to be easily romanced by male/non-binary V with a more masculine appearance and she should've been a little harder to get with by a female V/non-binary V with a more feminine appearance. Also, is it just me but I wasn't a big fan of her sex scene, imo I feel they should've changed the sex scene to possibly happening during the sandstorm or after V confesses to dying. Or even them making out in the big ass tower before being interrupted by Saul. Also, wouldn't have minded learning more about Panam in terms of hobbies, like I would've loved it if she was a singer or was a decent guitar player. I also would've enjoyed scenes where we actually just chill with the Aldecaldos and like chill by the campfire or help out with some of their everyday problems, etc.

I like her but I didn't feel a seriously deep connection to her like I did with the other 3 romance options, I wish they added more depth to her and more of a serious tone to her. I do like the more serious tone towards the end and how her path explored being a nomad, what it means to have family, etc.

I do wish everyone in terms of romances had as many quests, depth, and just effort put into but her path is decent just not my favorite personally.

I feel she and Evelyn should've been the main bi options, she should've been easier to get with a male' V but also should've been able to date fem' V. The paths should've been similar or even show Panam having fem' V be her first-ever official girlfriend, show a new side to Panam with fem' V. I would've seeing Panam being a little shy and or a bit reserved around fem' V, I would've enjoyed seeing her hesitate a bit first before having her first kiss with V. I would've also enjoyed love scenes for bi characters being kinda different in the sense that I would've enjoyed Panam and male' V's love scenes to be raw, a bit filthy, and Panam is not holding back. Maybe it's just me but I disliked her love scene with all the green and all the switching really turned me off tbh. I would imagine Panam and fem' V have a love scene either being in a tent or during a quest in which fem' V and her share some beers, look at the stars, and relax.

Her love scene with fem' V would show a more gentle, natural, and aesthetic kind of scene, a lot of kissing, Panam going down on you, you kissing/nibbling on Panam's ear whilst you slip your hand in between her legs. It ending with Panam's arm wrapped around you and you wake up to the morning sun above you.

I feel another quest she should've had was you and V (Doesn't matter what gender) could've gone out on a road trip all around the badlands and you guys just have a good time together. Blasting music and making fun of each other's music, drinking beers, turning up to some music, and you both kissing in the backseat much to Johnny's annoyance. 

3rd. Evelyn Parker:

So I feel she should've been the main female bi romance option and she should've held a much bigger part in the story, becoming either a replacement for T-Bug if she dies in your playthrough or just finding out about her. She at first could be bitter towards you considering how you treated her in the beginning or she can come off as distant and wanting nothing to do with you at first. She wants to run from you and talks about leaving Night City with Judy, how she needs a fresh start. Similar to Judy, she stays because of how close she's grown to you, because of how it's hard to leave you to your inevitable death all alone, she finds it hard to leave you after I'd say her first 3 or 4 quests. She'd be one of the mysterious and harder romances to get, considering that at first, V thinks Evelyn wants someone who can help her and help her solve her problems. But in reality, she wants someone who will have her back, someone she can trust, someone who will make her life worth living.

I'd imagine she'd have about 3 to 5 quests and 2 of those quests lead to a romance, her quests would be about finding The Woodsman, getting rid of him, taking care of T-Bug, etc. I'd imagine that her romance starts in her second or third quest, she doesn't quite trust you yet but she's finding herself falling you all the time.

One of her missions would probably be her either taking you out to a really expensive bar or something where it ends with a love scene that progresses to the car if you're male' V. But if you're fem' V I feel the love scene would progress to her apartment, Evelyn pegs me as being kinda kinky but nothing like Meredith who broke the kinky scale. I'd imagine in the love scene with fem' V she'd be choking you a little bit, caressing your face and she's in control this time, you eat her out, she fingers you right before you come before fucking you from behind with her fingers. She's also making you suck on her fingers. It ends with fem' V waking up to Evelyn rushing out of the door, saying she has business to take care of and that she enjoyed last night and would later text you asking to meet up at her apartment. She asks if you want something serious and you can choose what you want your relationship to be, if you choose something more serious she ends up giving you a key to her apartment. 

Male' V love scene would have Evelyn being more submissive but more like a power bottom, she gives male V' oral which leads to you fucking in the backseat of her car in the missionary position. Leads to her riding you until you both come. She'd be pulling on your hair, she'd grab your hand and make you choke her for a little bit, she's kissing on your neck a lot, etc. It'd end with Evelyn lighting up a cigarette and asking if you'd take her home, you take her home and it ends with you kissing her before she goes home and asks you to call her in the morning. This leads to her calling to ask you if you want something more serious or something less than serious with the first option ending up with you getting a key to her apartment.

She'd play a decent role in the game, actively working towards getting the chip out and getting things back to the way they were. I imagine in one of the endings specifically The Temperance ending, she'd be one of the few to know that Johnny took over and it ends with her begging Johnny to give her a response, to tell her something. I'd imagine Johnny is fine with her at least after a while but at first, he's not gonna be too nice to her.

4th. Meredith Stout:

She could remain simply a one-night stand but what I would enjoy is being able to initiate either phone sex or be able to meet up with these one night stands again. But she also could have a few more quests, maybe some that revolve around her missions she can't get done without you and it leads to V wanting to romance her and wanting something more serious. Call me a bitch but I personally can't see Meredith wanting or feeling as though a relationship would be right at this point in her life. To me, Meredith from our first interactions come off as kinda manipulative and a bit unhinged when things don't go her way, maybe V helps kick her entitled and stuck up habits. Makes her realize how she sees people who don't have as much as beneath her is a terrible way to see people and a terrible way to think.

Or you could just screw around with her and help each other with whatever missions and shit like I'd imagine that she'd be apart of the endings or plays a similar role to Alt being able to help you take down Arasaka. I'd imagine if you romanced her or made a big impact on her she'll agree but if you are just fuck-buddies and or haven't completed all of her quests then she'll hang up or say she can't. If you do she manages to get militech and what not to help as reinforcements to help you in some way so you can get to Mikoshi in one piece or at least help you most of the way. But the endings still are the same but in the credits, she talks about how she hasn't heard from you and how she just wants to know if she's alive. She says she respects if you just want to be gone off the face of the earth.

Sorry Meredith stans but I can't see her being too serious with you if so then she's gonna spend time bettering herself before she delves into a serious relationship with you. But I'd imagine if you did have an impact on her, in The Sun ending/Path Of Glory she'll be in your bed and she'll be a bit kinder towards you and you'll have relationship problems.

5th. Misty Olszewski:

I love her as a character and how sweet she is, I feel that she could've had a deeper relationship with V, and them becoming best friends could've also been a good thing. She gives me pansexual vibes very much and will be willing to date all V's just treat her with love and respect. But I do feel that if you were able to romance her, the relationship would happen almost like a one night stand or something, maybe you both get drunk and sex happens. I feel Misty would feel as though she's betraying Jackie and being with you, which makes things complicated and weird. If anything I feel she'd be included in DLC as a more serious romance option, any DLC where Misty has time to process Jackie's death and has time to grieve. Any DLC that is later on or caters to an ending such as maybe the Nomad ending or The Sun ending perhaps.

First of all, she'd have like 3 or 4 quests where you just try and grieve with each other and or just be good friends, I'd imagine that one of the quests would be you suggesting teaching her how to swim or something because something tells me she wouldn't know how. Misty comes off as shy but open to try it if you give her enough encouragement and make her feel like things will be fine. You both go hang out somewhere out of town and end up going swimming and you teach her, but maybe something happens similar to Judy with the relic where you end up fainting or passing out. She ends up saving you miraculously and expresses how she feels like she's losing you and how she feels you're withering away from Night City. It results in Misty taking you back to your apartment, insisting you rest and try and get some sleep but you can insist on her staying and if she does, she ends up sleeping in bed with you and a kiss happens. She ends up pushing you away or the night after and saying how it's not fair to Jackie. How she enjoys your company but things feel better with you guys being friends, insisting that it was wrong to have a romantic relationship just sometime after Jackie passed.

I imagine things with her can end up being weird and awkward for a little bit afterward but she remains your good friend and she genuinely worries for you a lot, she won't play too big of a role in the game. But would play a similar role to Judy, I'd imagine that if you didn't romance anyone but her or if you romanced Judy, you'd be able to pick her to take along with you in the Nomad ending.

She'd be apart of the small list of romance options/good friends you'd be able to take with you in the Nomad ending.

She's really sweet though and you learn about her insecurities, learn more about her relationship with Jackie and how he planned on teaching her how to swim, he planned on getting her a beagle or finding her a dog. You learn a lot about Jackie and her and she's a really good friend of yours who wants to take things slow and make sure things are great when you start a more serious romantic relationship.

6th. Claire Russell:

She should've been a romance option or at the very least a ons, she might be straight but I'd say she gives off strong bi or pansexual vibes, she'd date any kind of V regardless of gender. I'd imagine that sometime after you murder the corpo cunt who killed her husband, she calls you up asking for a drink or asks you to meet up at her garage. She expresses how she thought she'd feel better after hearing he's dead but she feels the same, you both get a bit drunk and talk about past relationships and struggles. You both end up dancing to some music and it leads to you both slow dancing and if you play your cards right then you'll end up being able to kiss her. Claire and you both end up on the couch in her living room and you both have a grand time, I imagine she kisses you a lot, gives you plenty of praise in between sex, and she gave you some oral.

Afterward, I can imagine she wants to be with you but she needs a little more time to just enjoy being alone, dealing with Dean's death and such. Also, she talks about cars a lot and you can find her at her garage fixing up Beast and you can talk with her about fixing up your cars and anything like that. She doesn't play a huge role but she'll call you and you can call her before the final mission, similar to River you don't tell her what's up and you tell her how you'll always be her biggest fan. How you want her to keep racing and keep living her best life, she gets a little suspicious but can't put her finger on why you're saying all this. In the credits, she keeps saying how you won't answer and how she just wants to get a text or something, saying how you disappeared and how she really wants to see you.

Also, she gives me very much into working out and homegirl stopped working out a while ago because she had little to no motivation to do so. But when meeting you, she'll text you pics of her at the gym, her muscles, and saying how she has better muscles so she can cuddle you better.

I'd imagine that she'd be apart of The Sun ending and you both have a decent relationship with her, she expresses how she'd follow you anywhere and to let her know if things are wrong.

In the suicide ending, just as she's calling to find out what happened to you she gets a knock at the door and drops the phone, you can hear Misty and Viktor tell Claire of your death and it ends with her breaking down in tears before she pitches her phone at the wall.

SPOILER WARNING: Do not read if you haven’t seen all of Season 1 of “Loki,” currently streaming on Disney Plus.

Ever since “Loki” first premiered in June, Kate Herron, who directed all six episodes of the Marvel Studios series, has had to pretend like she knew far less than she really does. For one, she couldn’t acknowledge that the homages to sci-fi classics like “Blade Runner” and “Brazil” that she’d baked into the elaborate sets for the Time Variance Authority — the cosmic bureaucracy tasked with maintaining the sacred timeline — were “meant to be sinister” rather than just “playful and quirky.”

For another, Herron was delighted to see fans theorizing after the very first episode that Kang the Conqueror — a character already set to appear in the Marvel Studios feature “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” as played by Jonathan Majors — was really pulling the strings of the TVA. But until the finale streamed last Wednesday, she couldn’t even hint that those fans were only half right: Majors does play the mastermind of the TVA, but he’s a variant of Kang referred to as He Who Remains. It’s only after He Who Remains encounters Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and his female variant counterpart Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), and Sylvie plunges a blade into his heart, that the multiverse is reborn, creating the possibility for Kang the Conqueror to emerge.

Again, though: Herron couldn’t acknowledge any of that, even to those closest to her.

“Nothing has prepared me better for working with Marvel than playing tabletop games with my friends,” she says with a laugh. “It definitely taught me how to have a good poker face. You have to hide your hand — and sometimes lie.”

Now, thankfully, all of that is behind her — as is “Loki” itself. Despite receiving widespread acclaim for her assured, ambitious, and visually sumptuous work directing the show, Herron says she has decided not to return for Season 2 of the series.

“I gave it everything — in my soul, in my heart, everything,” she says. “I feel so proud of the work we’ve done. And yeah, I’ll be enjoying Season 2 as a fan.”

She’s quick to sing the praises of everyone she worked with at Marvel, and she says she’s “sure” she’ll work again with the studio. For now, however, she’s ready to take a holiday, and then turn to a project she’s writing herself “that’s really close to my heart that I really want to make.”

“It’s my own decision, but I just feel like my part with ‘Loki’ is finished now and I’m just excited to see where his story goes,” she says.

Before she parts ways for good, however, Herron spoke with Variety about bringing Jonathan Majors into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, what she thought of the shocking revelation about infinity stones and what she would like to see happen in Season 2.

She always knew “Loki” would introduce Kang and the Multiverse…

From the very start, Herron says, she and head writer Michael Waldron knew that their six-episode run of “Loki” would always end with Loki and Sylvie meeting He Who Remains at his citadel, the result of which would cause the creation of the multiverse.

As Episode 6 makes clear, both of these events were massive turning points for the future of the MCU — and Herron still can’t quite believe she got to be the one to make them a reality.

“We were just, like, waiting to be told, ‘Actually, guys, we’ve had a change [of heart],'” Herron says. Instead, Herron says she and “Quantumania” director Peyton Reed participated in casting Majors in the role.

“I was just like, pinch me,” she says. “I can’t believe I was at the table for that, because I know it was such a big decision for them all.”

Herron also decided to have Majors provide the voices for all three “Timekeepers” who are supposedly at the head of the TVA, but are revealed by Sylvie to be nothing more than “mindless androids.”

“We didn’t have someone cast for those voices,” she says. “I remember thinking, well, ‘Wizard of Oz’ is clearly a reference for us. We should have the wizard. It’d be great if it’s Jonathan. So we sent him all the art of the timekeepers. And he just kind of came up with these incredible voices for each of them.”

…but not with a cliffhanger.

The most significant decision of the season, though, may be that it ends with a giant cliffhanger, when Loki discovers he’s in a brand new reality for the TVA in which Mobius (Owen Wilson) and Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) don’t even recognize him. But while Herron knew how this season of “Loki” would end, at first, she did not know that there would be any more seasons after it.

“When I started, there wasn’t a discussion of Season 2, exactly,” she says. “It was just that season of ‘Loki.’ As we got deeper into production, everyone was very happy, and obviously there’s so much to explore with Loki. It felt like we should continue the story. So I think the cliffhanger ending came in later in the process.”

Herron says she sprinkled in some hints to viewers that Loki is in a new timeline, like redressing sets to look slightly off, and recasting Eugene Cordero’s TVA receptionist Casey as a hunter headed to the armory in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment. But her favorite bit is that the final line — said by Mobius to Loki — is the same as the first line spoken in the show, by a woman in the Gobi desert, also to Loki: “Who are you?”

“That was kind of the question of the whole first season,” Herron says.

She was just as shocked about the Infinity Stones as everyone else.

In the first episode, Loki discovers to his horror that not only does his magic not work inside the TVA, but Infinity Stones — heretofore believed to be the most powerful objects in the known universe — are just inert rocks there. The revelation sent shockwaves across the Marvel fandom; Herron was right there with them.

“That was in Michael’s script when I first got it to pitch [for the directing job],” she says. “I remember being like, ‘WHAT?! You put me through so much!’ But then I thought, ‘Oh, it’s kind of genius, because it shows how powerful the TVA are. Who are these people? What is this place?'”

Herron especially appreciated how her shock — and the audience’s — mirrored Loki’s own as the rug gets pulled out from under him. “I was quite excited by it,” she says. “It really shows you that there’s a new power in the MCU — and it’s not what we we spent the last decade dedicating our lives to.”

She told Kevin Feige she wanted gender parity among her crew.

Prior to “Loki,” Herron’s most high profile job was directing the second half of the first season of the Netflix dramedy “Sex Education.” She got the “Loki” job thanks to a 60-page pitch memo that filled out just about every detail of the world of the show. After hiring her, she says Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige asked her, “What are your terms?”

“This was the first time I was gonna get to hire my heads of department on a television show I worked on,” she says. “I was like, I’d really love [the crew] to be 50/50 across gender.”

Herron says she wasn’t out to fill any jobs on the film with a specific gender. But, she says, “There aren’t enough women in these roles. They’re out there. It’s a lack of opportunity. It’s not a lack of interest.”

She did end up hiring two women for critical roles that are still rarely occupied by women: cinematographer Autumn Durald (“The Sun Is Also a Star”) and composer Natalie Holt (History’s “Knightfall”).

“I felt like she was inside my mind,” Herron says of Durald. “We have the same taste. And I love the way that she talks about light as a character.”

Herron hired Holt unusually early for a composer, after she’d completed editing the first episode during the pandemic shutdown. She knew that the particular sci-fi film noir look of the show that she was developing with Durald needed similarly unique music, and she liked that part of Holt’s pitch was focusing on Loki’s identity as a character.

“Her music then started to inspire how I wanted to shoot other scenes,” Herron says. She’s especially enamored of Holt’s vision for her dynamic and foreboding theme for the TVA.

“She was like, ‘Oh, let’s have that theme be Kang’s’ — well, He Who Remains, I guess, in our show. But I hope that will go on to be Kang’s theme. That was the real fun of it is that you feel like he’s really played a hand now across the whole show, because you realize that music is his music.”

Herron, Durald, and Holt all deliver distinctive and superlative work that’s nothing like the MCU has quite seen before — and nothing quite like anything previously in their careers, either. And that’s entirely the point.

“I think for us, it was about just showing people what we could do and that we could do it at this level,” Herron says.

The episode in which Loki comes out as bisexual was inspired by Alfonso Cuarón and Richard Linklater.

Every episode of “Loki” features multiple extended scenes of two characters just talking to one another, a rarity in a comic book production. Herron says that cutting Episode 1 together during the pandemic lockdown and seeing the scenes between Loki and Mobius (Owen Wilson) play out so well “definitely gave us confidence” to continue that rhythm for the rest of the show.

That was especially true for Episode 3. Written by Bisha K. Ali (who went on to create the upcoming Marvel Studios series “Ms. Marvel”), the episode is essentially an extended meet-cute between Loki and Sylvie as they get to know each other on a planet doomed for total annihilation.

“Bisha’s reference was ‘Before Sunrise’ and ‘Children of Men,'” says Herron. “And it lit my brain on fire. It was kind of weird. It was almost like a bottle episode in the sense that we’re just with the two characters, but obviously, it’s Marvel, right? So they’re bonding in this Apocalypse, which also feels very Loki at the same time.”

That episode is best known for making Marvel Studios history, when Loki casually mentions that he’s had dalliances with both men and women. Herron says that when she first interviewed for the job, she asked if the show was going to acknowledge Loki’s sexuality, which had long been established in the comics as bisexual or pansexual.

“I think everyone wanted to acknowledge it,” she says. “It was just really about giving a care and consideration and doing it in the right way. I think everyone knew it was gonna be quite a big moment. So it was just really about doing it in a way that felt respectful. And honoring it.”

Herron also confirms what many fans had suspected, that she deliberately made the lighting scheme for the scene evoke the blue, purple and red of the bisexual flag. “We knew what we were doing with that scene,” she says with a smile.

She has a lot of ideas for what she’d like to see in Season 2.

Since Herron will be watching Season 2 of “Loki” only “as a fan,” she is also free to wildly speculate as to what she’d most like to see happen — like how, wherever Loki story leads, “we’ve opened the door” for the character to explore his sexuality with men as well as women.

Otherwise? She says she wants to know where Judge Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) goes to when she leaves the TVA in search, she tells Mobius, of “free will.”

“I love her,” Herron says. “Gugu used to always call her an indoor girl, which made me laugh, but she is. She’s in the office, but she used to be this kick-ass Hunter. So I’m like, Okay, well, where’s her path going?”

Herron is also keen to learn more about Hunter B-15’s backstory — since she deliberately decided to hide it in the scene in Episode 4 when Sylvie shows B-15 her repressed memories as a variant.

“I was like, we shouldn’t see her memories,” Herron says. “It’s a character that thought they had power and realizes they have no power. It felt really powerful to at least give her some power in that scenario. The memories are private. They’re hers.” She pauses. “Also as a fan, I’m like, ‘Oh my God, who is she?!'”

“And obviously, you know, Loki and Sylvie?” Herron continues, on a roll. “He’s in a completely different reality. What’s going to happen to him? How will he get back? Or will he get back? And where’s Sylvie? She’s still in the Citadel? And the multiverse of it all. What the hell is going to happen?!”

Herron chuckles at her own excitement. “So I think there’s so many questions to be answered, and so much more road to travel with all our characters,” she says. “You know, I’m really proud that I got to set up Loki’s story here. But there’s so many different aspects of his identity and personality that’s yet to be explored. I’m excited to see where it goes.”
