PSA: tomatoes are not spicy. Tomatoes and tomato products should not be spicy. Pizza sauce isn't inherently spicy. Tomato-based pasta sauce is not spicy. Ketchup is NOT spicy.
If tomatoes are spicy, you have an allergy to tomatoes.
This announcement brought to you by my almost 29-year-old husband learning for the first time in his 2.8 decades of putting food products into his mouth that spaghetti and saucy pizza aren't spicy foods

i looooove pokémon npcs whose team members subtly imply something about them that's never touched upon in the story or at least never outright said. i love villains having friendship evos. i love trainers who commit hard to one aesthetic or vibe with their team (beyond simply sharing a type) and i love it even better when there's one random exception especially if that's their ace. i love when later down the line someone boxes the cute fun soft baby pokémon they used to have in favor of a seemingly stronger or scarier one to show that they're getting serious. i love when they have a pokémon that's difficult to get and raises lots of questions about them. i love it when the lore behind a pokémon fits the character to a T and i love it even better when it appears to contradict them. give me the story-gameplay harmony but better yet give me what appears to be story-gameplay dissonance but might actually have implications if we're willing to dive deep into it

since Ghana passed the anti LGBT bill I keep hearing more and more about how hate crimes are increasing, not just in Ghana but also in places like Kenya too. days after the bill was passed, a Kenyan woman was attacked because some men stated she "dresses like a man" - Kenya was also considering passing a anti-lgbt bill (although the supreme court did rule that doing this would be unconstitutional.) but just as Ghana was considering passing the bill for years and it eventually was, it could still happen in Kenya.

So, I get a huge kick out of it when people say "this would kill a medieval peasant" because like, yeah, modern life is fucking wild and baffling and that's awesome, but also.
Medieval peasants were weird as fuck. Weird and also irreverent --- something medieval priests complained about a lot --- and also contrarian and just plain hilarious. Did you know there was a court case in I think medieval Germany where the peasants said that even though the law said they had to harvest the hay from the lord's field and stack it in his barn, the law didn't say anything about them transporting it from the field to the barn so that was his job. And the lord. Had to take them to court over this.
Bro that is hilarious. That is gold. That is a group of people who would absolutely appreciate the unnatural orange color of Doritos.
Anyway, the point is we should start talking about stuff that would kill a nineteenth century aristocrat. I've seen Bridgerton, and those people can't handle shit.

The God I know, who created asexual and aromantic people, who created polyamorous people and monogamous people, who created infinite diversity, is NOT a god who requires you to tie yourself to another person in order to have a stronger connection to Them. They are NOT a god who requires you to remain sealed to an abusive, neglectful, or narcissistic spouse in order to maintain a connection to the Divine.
Yes, marriage can be beautiful and wonderful and can teach people how to be better and grow closer to the Divine. But you can also learn that through friendships. Through community connections. Through family. Marriage for the sake of gaining access to the celestial kingdom (or for permission to have The Sex) is a recipe for failure. Connection to others, platonic or romantic, is what brings us into communication with the Divine. Stop limiting it to only heterosexual temple marriages (I would add monogamous but we all know the early church had different ideas about fidelity).

hello :) could you maybe explain a little bit how dan wootton blackmailed louis?
ugh sorry for taking a while to get to this. The problem is I feel like the only two ways to answer this are by spending a week and a half of full time labor sifting through old posts and evidence to get every detail right and lay out an airtight case, or to halfass something very serious, and so I felt a little stuck. So since I can't seem to find a good halfway point, apologies but here is the half assed version, if you want to get into it more I invite you to do your own deep dive or talk to other people, but here's how I remember things.
Louis has almost never on video explicitly said things about Larry not being real and/or anything negative about fans and their theories (mostly the opposite), up until the last couple years when he obviously decided to make a major change he didn't talk about Freddie much at all let alone saying he was his kid, honestly not that much about Eleanor even; except for in two major interviews with Dan Wootton, each of which lined up with a serious traumatic Tomlinson family event that they managed to keep out of the tabloids until the very end (Jay's illness and Fizzy's struggles with substance abuse). After the fact of those events a lot of small things that didn't make sense at the time came together to look very much like Louis traded those interviews (and those answers) for having his family's private matters kept private. Story trading of this kind is a publicly known real thing that happens, and there were various clues that suggested he was being leaned on about those stories to lend legitimacy to the idea that it was something that happened in these cases. Given what we know about Dan Wootton and how he operates even before the recent flood of information and even more now, I think it's more than likely that he has been holding the threat of outing Louis (as he has done to many other public figures) over his head for over a decade, and has used his family's tragic struggles to get Louis to dance like a fucking puppet for him and I will REJOICE at his downfall when it comes whether it is now or 20 years from now... because someday it will, he has made too many enemies to stay above it forever

Thinking bout Kristen death warding Cassandra again 🤕 to use the incredibly limited spell slots to save her goddess who is only sort of not dead and Kristen doesn't even know if it will do anything!!! But fuck man is she going to try whatever she can think of to get Cassandra back! I just there is something so special about using the magic you get from a god to then take care of that god......Just the slightest touch through a mirror god fuck i hope it does something and helps her. Kristen genuinely really loves Cassandra and misses her and wants her back, I want Cassandra back......
