@asleepyy so sorry for tagging u twice in one day and i hope im not bothering u with my brain rot 😅

but yes, i did actually dissect the lyrics. yes, i am actually insane. and yes, i love this au quite a lot.

here are my notes and what i think each song represents, tho its mainly just the vibes i get. i made notes as i listened to them (note: i see songs almost always in animatic form. idk if that will effect how i imagine what each song means, but i thought it might be worth mentioning)

say what you think: def making me think of them both in heaven and jophiel wanting to ask questions.

running up that hill: AHH this one hurt. very obvious as well. jophiel seeing that azazel shouldnt be a demon. "And if I only could I'd make a deal with God, and I'd get Him to swap our places." i am sobbingggg

what difference does it make?: at first i was going to say its jophiel wanting to figure out what went wrong but azazel makes them promise not to, but i think its better suited for azazel understanding hes a demon, but he cant help but still have faith in the almighty

please please please let me get what i want: fuckkk is this about azazel being a demon but still wanting to do good 😭 short but still painful

ever fallen in love (with someone you shouldn't've): my first reaction to the title alone was like the second image of the kambucha girl meme. anyway i think this one is about them becoming friends (or more?? 👀) but knowing its seen as wrong. "And if I start a commotion, I run the risk of losing you and that's worse" makes me also think of jophiel talking to the metatron and realizing he shouldnt ask about azazel lest he risk the poor thing being smited.

nothing critical: ohhhh this one gives hella vibes of jophiel not trusting heaven and knowing "something isnt right here" in regards to the fall-- HOLD UP "I know, someone had to go, If not him it'd be me instead" HELLO??? aziraphale asking for jophiel??? is this like after he finds out what azazels name used to be??

flowers never bend with the rainfall: hmm... i feel like this is a plot point song. not sure why. but "And I hide behind the shield of my illusion" makes me think it pertains to azazel

bird in space: oh this ones a bit tricky. i think ive reached the songs that no longer fit the lore we've been given thus far. so the only thing i can think rn is jophiel enjoying earthly pleasures? not rlly sure

angel, won't you call me?: oh fuckkk is this about a fight they have? "I fled at the face of my rival. When I felt his breath at the back of my neck. Angel, won't you call?" theres no way that isnt about azazel saying smth and then leaving, only to be scared he severed his tie to the only person thats been nice to him.

the stranger: first of this is a bop and im loving it. very groovy. the first thing that comes to mind is the "choose your faces wisely" prophecy. ooo is this about jophiel trying to convince azazel hes still meant to be an angel? that he wasnt meant to fall? also, the last verse is sticking out to me... not sure why

all i think about now: fuckkkkk this is giving me the vibes of jophiel finding out azazel Fell cuz of him and feeling guilty about it. "If I'm late, can I thank you now?" FUCKING OW?? oh yeah for sure this is about jophiel finding out and being sucker punched with guilt

ill be your mirror: oh goddd this song. i know crowley listens to this song but i cant remember what its about so lets see. AH SHIT YEAH THATS RIGHT. okay so jophiel reminds azazel that he is inherently good, regardless of if hes a demon. thats what im getting from this (also just tihnking of that ask i sent about the reflective sunglasses bthwjegkrw)

me and my husband: okay all im getting from this is "they r down bad". they r very very very much in love. getting vibes of this being after they stop the apocolypse. or maybe their feelings developing thru the centuries

time in a bottle: oh man this song always gets me. okay so, this and the last song r giving the oh-shit-i-might-be-in-love vibes. but this one is with jophiel's pov, while me and my husband is azazel's

ritz note: the last couple songs have been cute and lovey and i am now terrified of what the next ones r gonna be. cuz i know this fandom. and i am not ready for the pain. i am afraidddd

lonesome town: i fucking called it i knew the happy wouldnt last 😭😭 they had a fight didnt they. yeahhh they had a fight. FUCK why is this so sad but so pretty

across the universe: is this one sad too??? hang on theres a bit thats not in english, what does that mean... "Hail to the Heavenly Teacher." okay so i assume this is an azazel song. this is just making me think of the bookshop fire, but its azazel thinking jophiel died 😭 ....i am staring at the lyircs. i am glaring at the lyrics. this song MEANS something. i just dont know what. but its important. im squinting at it very hard (note: i came back to this song and am STILL glaring at it. its like. its like im seeing it covered in sand but i know theres gold underneath. i cant SEE the gold, but i know its there. this is driving me nuts /pos)

no wonder i: hm.. im not rlly sure with this one. OH?? is this azazel finding out heaven isnt that good?? "Suddenly I'm not so sure. That intentions can be pure." hmmmmmmm

what do they know?: holy shit okay this is a completely different kind of song than the others. im.... glaring at these lyrics too. feels like a plot point but cant tell what it is. i think its about jophiel? maybe heaven too?? idk im grasping at straws with this one

sea of love: oh yay a happy song again 😌 okay this is just short and sweet. gives me forgiveness and/or confession vibes.

who are you, really?: this one sounds important and i am glaring!! makes me think of "we dont need heaven we dont need hell" and also "a demon/angel that goes along with hell/heaven as far as he can". also just makes me think of jophiel speaking.

the moon will sing: i fucking love this song but i dont think ive ever looked at the lyrics so lets goooo. right away i see "I could have been anyone, anyone else. Before you made the choice for me" and think of aziraphale asking and falling for jophiel, and in a way making the choice of jophiel staying an angel. "Instead, I made a bed with apathy" jophiel trying not to care about a random demon. "I shine only with the light you gave me" jophiel giving azazel ideas on how to do "good" while being "bad". also with that line, thinking of azazel saying that to god and being sad about having fallen AUGHH i have a whole animatic in my head with this song and im losing my mind

matephor: hnnnn another important sounding song. jophiel vibes. fight song perhaps?? "Don't look too hard 'cause you won't like the scars he left in me" azazel vibes??? this one is elusive to me but i love it. okay im slowly getting more azazel vibes. like azazel trying to convince jophiel that he is a demon and fell for a reason

providence: right away getting "heaven and hell r bad" vibes. OHH okay okay this is giving me hella jophiel vibes, but specificly snarky and sassy jophiel vibes. of being like "oh yes heaven is oh so great, we kill children! but its for the greater good, of course. gotta beat hell and all that, even at the cost of innocents. all for the almighty and her ineffable plan." (this song is a bop omg)

earth angel: oh i know this one but only with crowley and aziraphale, so im excited to listen to it with an oopsie omens mind set. omg wait why does it hit HARDER. love sick azazel is such a cute image 🥺🥰

what more can i do: hmm.. them being in love but knowing its "forbidden"? cant tell who i imagine with it more

starman: this is just them. classic good omens song, regardless of the au. love to see it 💖

a pearl: AH FUCK ANOTHER SAD ONE. mitski whyy. hm.. azazel song? jophiel?? i think jophiel... tho my mind might be turning to mush at this point so im not sure. one of them is sad

duvet: oh def azazel vibes. oh maybe some jophiel vibes too?? i can see it swaping povs. i think it fits azazel more tho.

You love cat cafes. You love your boyfriend. Why not combine the two?

"Hello~" you said in a sing-song like voice as you entered the cat café you frequent.

You're a very well-known regular at the place and are close friends with some of the workers. You even help out sometimes.

You're mentioned as a best friend to some of the cats in the "holy book of cats" as you and the workers call it. It's really just a book with information about all of the cats, but it's more fun that way, right?

"Ah, if it isn't our- Oh, who did you bring?" the worker at the desk perked up at the sound of your voice.

"Oh, him?" you pointed to Iwaizumi, him glancing at you. "He's my boyfriend." you said, smiling.

"Ohhhh, so you must be the Hajime guy she talks about so much!" the desk worker said happily. "Nice to meet you." she bowed down, greeting him.

Iwa raised an eyebrow at you. "You talk about me?" he was a little nervous. What exactly have you revealed about him to these people? He knew you were well-known in this café but he didn't know they knew about him, too.

You giggled, assuring him you only ever say good things about him and that the workers already love him, leading him into the main café area where all the cats are.

When the cats recognise you, they run over to you, meowing and rubbing against your legs. You kneeled down to pet them and gently greet each one as Iwa stood behind you awkwardly, unsure what to do.

"Go on, say hi to them! They'll love you!" you invited him with a smile that you know he can never resist and he also kneeled down, some of the cats moving on from you to him, sniffing his hands curiously.

More and more cats sorrounded him, and soon he was drowning in purrs and meows.

His face of slight concern cracked you up and you couldn't resist laughing.

"What's so funny?!" he couldn't find the humour in being trapped in between about 12 cats, it seems.

"See, I told you they would love you." you said once you were able to speak normally again. When you told him the cats would love him he was not expecting them to love him this much.

As you two sat down, some of the cats followed you and a big, dark brown cat settled on your lap while the others circled around your feet below you.

The waiter came over, greeting you informally before he noticed Iwaizumi. "Ah, is this a date with that Hajime of yours?" he said, giggling behind his hand.

"Sure is!" you leaned forwards on the table, smiling at the waiter. "I'll have my usual, by the way."

The waiter waited for Iwa to place his order too and then left you two alone. You leaned back and started gently petting the cat in your lap as it purred happily.

"Isn't he pretty?" you asked after you saw him staring at the cat.

"His name is Brownie and he really reminds me of Oikaw-"

"Do not ever mention Shittykawa on our date." Iwaizumi huffed, crossing his arms. You simply laughed, still petting Brownie.

"What can I say, Brownie here just fell in love with me." you said, rubbing the back of his ears and pulling more satisfied purrs from him.

Iwa couldn't help but be a little jealous. It felt like he was getting betrayed by (in your own words) a cat embodiment of Oikawa. Damn, why does Oikawa always find a way to infiltrate his affairs?!

You noticed his face, and thought of something. "You know, there is a cat here that I think you might love."

He perked up, listening closely to which cat you were going to reccomend.

"Look up "Lillith" in the holy book of- the cat book, is what I mean." you slid the book over to his side and waited for him patiently as he flipped the pages. When the flipping stopped, you knew he was on the right cat.

"So...?" you smiled.

"Hmmm, it looks oddly similar to you." he assesed, and you laughed a little. "Yep, exactly. Me and the guys here joke about it all the time." you were glad he noticed it too.

You and Iwa scanned the place for Lillith, and once you found her you told Iwa to call for her with treats.

He kneeled, a little hesitantly, and called: "Come here, Lillith... Pspspsps..."

Lillith ran on her little paws as fast as she could to Iwaizumi and devoured the treat which surprised him a little. He wasn't expecting her to be so friendly and eager, like you. He raised a hand to gently pet her and Lillith purred happily.

Once he got back up to return to your date, Lillith jumped onto his lap, settling down to sleep there.

"Awww, she loves you. Not more than me, though." you jokingly put on an angry expression. It was adorable to Iwaizumi how both you and your cat doppleganger fell in love with him but he certainly wasn't complaining. His only complaint about the place was Brownie.

There is no excuse for stealing your (rightfully his) lap.

ohhhh i SURE have. futurefic is my favorite thing. just, everything about it — the mass of feelings that your characters thought they left in the past rearing up again! getting to slowly unravel whatever backstory you've concocted for your readers! all the complicated feelings that come with having grown up and built a life with imperfect pieces even when it was the best you could do at the time! also i love futurefic because it is almost always also second chance romance and i love second chances so much.

u. Is there a pairing you would like to write, but haven’t tried yet.

yes! so many!! i unfortunately only ever end up writing like 1/20th of the pairings i'm into because i am a SLOW writer but, i would love to get my grubby little fingers into whatever is going on in vancouver — probably elias/brock or elias/quinn. i feel like i would like to try my hand one day at connor/leon but i need to be gripped by the EXACT right scenario u know? i don't know if writing prompt fills on tumblr dot com counts as trying it but if it doesn't then i am absolutely adding eldest son disaster pairing matthew/quinn to this list. also i don't know if i want ME to write this but i do want a nice long tender unexpected feelings leon/bedsy fic to exist in the world because sometimes we all need a little problematic age gap in our lives. i feel like i have more but i am totally blanking. oh — gibby/trevor. i do want john to destroy that twink, preferably while he's deep in his jamie feelings. i want it to be MESSY.

y. What are your thoughts on your personal satisfaction with something you’ve written vs. the popularity of your stories? Do you tend to be most satisfied with your most popular stories?

this is pretty complicated tbh! like, i was NOT in a good headspace with haw when i posted it (i def should have done another editing pass but i was like fuck it i'm done lmao) but other people's love for it really and truly helped me get out of that headspace and remember why i loved the story and characters so much! so the popularity of the fic was a really lovely thing for me there. but also there's like, i wrote a band of brothers fic a couple years ago that's obviously never going to be super popular because it's for a tv show from 2001 but also i think that it's the best written thing on my ao3 page. by far the fic i'm the MOST satisfied with even though it only got a moderate amount of love due to the smaller fandom! then in the middle there's something like tnno, which a lot of people love but i was satisfied with it regardless because the two pals whose feelings about it mattered most to me also loved it. so i think this equation changes depending on my personal relationship to each fic!

a/n: hiiiii Jo!! ohhhh i love this picture, love fall and Mattie 🫶🏽 so this is a short fluffy one, hope you like it. also there is a cameo from a special someone hehe.

Sometimes when the darkness of Hell’s Kitchen became too much, even for the devil himself, he goes to one of his favourite spots in the city, the Central Park.

Especially in Fall, he found a sense of peace when there was a chill in the air, it smelled so nice and he loved to hear the crunch of the leaves.

He sits down on a bench, taking some deep breaths, a small smile on his face, he likes it here. It was calm, it was nice and- wait- what’s that? His ears perk up when he hears little ‘meows’ followed by a voice.

Matt hears soft paws coming towards him and soon a fluff ball nudges his leg.

“Alpine!!” you run after the kitten and see she has found her way to someone. Matt bends down a little and scratches her little head.

“Alpine don’t run away!” Matt hears the voice has gotten closer, he can feel your presence now. He smiles softly.

“I’m so sorry”

“That’s alright, a nice kitten you’ve got there.” You chuckle at that.

“Oh I wish she was mine, but no she is actually my friend and her boyfriend’s cat.” Matt nods.

“You can take a seat of you want, looks like this little one has taken a liking towards me.” And it’s true, Alpine is all snuggled up by Matt’s leg with no intention of leaving. You chuckle with a little huff and sit beside him.

“So, do you look after her a lot?”

“Not really, my friend and her boyfriend absolutely spend all their time with Alpine, but now they are on a holiday and she doesn’t like to travel, so she is here with me.” Matt nods at your answer.

“Well I’m glad I got a chance to meet this little one”, then he looks at you with the signature smile of his “and you.”

And suddenly you all you can do is bite your lip and giggle. Who is this man? That’s all you think about.

“And unfortunately, as much as I’m enjoying our little chat, I’ve to go to work.” You nod and look at the briefcase he is carrying. Suddenly that makes you sad, will you see this handsome stranger again, wait you don’t even know his name.

“I’m Matt by the way, it was lovely meeting you, and you Alpine” He pets her little head and she meows with content.

“As amazing it was to meet like this, wouldn’t mind to meet you on purpose some time.” He admits with a blush.

“Would you like to get some coffee sometime?” He asks hopefully

“With the handsome stranger who likes cats? Yeah I think I’d like that.”

He gives you his card. ‘Nelson and Murdock - Attorneys at Law’ with his name and number on the back.

“I guess I’ll call you then, Matt Murdock.”

With that infectious smile of his, he makes his way out. You keep smiling and looking at him.

“Well I guess it’s true after all Alpine” you pick her up on your lap and she looks at you with those big eyes of her. “you’re quite the wing woman”

anyway! loved this episode can’t wait for the next one with (i’m assuming) stuff with the Dokana group!!

as for Panthera’s “special mode”, that’s called Mass Obliteration!

Plagg leaving the ring while Panthera is transformed is a marker on how much experience she’s had being Panthera.

When characters are transformed, they absorb that Kwami’s power to wear the suit. Then they expend a lots of that magic to use their powers and if they’re young and haven’t used that miraculous much- or don’t have lots of magic in general- then that magic is pretty much depleted to nothing once that power is used and their battery runs out after five minutes.

The Kwami is like the power source to the holder’s battery/charge, with the miraculous being the chord between them. Usually you need them “plugged in” aka in the miraculous at all time when the holder is transformed. However! Panthera’s gotten so used to Plagg’s essence that even if he leaves the ring for a bit, she can stay transformed as she has a bit of his magic to naturally spare. I hope that makes sense I’m babbling. Thank you to my buddy @ghostatjoes for that lore.

The base was in the original Shanghai episode. Ladybug’s plan was to get vored and break the akuma from the inside. It had organs. Mei Shi had organs. I was so disturbed, I didn’t wanna write that— and also I felt like Ladybug overhauling Fei’s fight was wrong. That was HER villain yknow. Wanted Fei to finish it all by herself.

I’m glad you enjoyed! This was def one of my favorite chapters ever to write. I think the size is an obvious indicator. I hope you guys enjoy Season 3! It’s coming I swear. I’m just writing a fun chapter before I drag you all into my hole of hell that I’ve been stewing over for years.

It's just like, "Enjoy getting to know these people and watch them die in extremely violent circumstances." What am I supposed to root for? That Nobara doesn't die in front of Yuji, like Nanami did? That Gojo gets out of his prison soon enough to see what hell on earth has happened without him? That Yuji doesn't completely fall to Sukuna? That Megumi doesn't end up with all of his friends dead and/or gone? WHAT DO VIEWERS GET FROM THIS

Ohhhh I love this! Thank you for choosing me as a recipient of one of your nice asks 🥰🥹

Oh gosh, I do have a few things.

Personally, when I bought my house at 25 and when I graduated with my master’s degree in 2022 while maintaining a full time job for the 2.5 years I was pursuing it (and another secret thing I can’t quite talk about just yet).

Professionally, when I was a senior in college, I won a national award for a softball video that I made for my school, as a part of my internship. And also, anytime I sit down to produce a show seen by over 75,000 people on a weekly basis in the fall. I don’t know what my professional future looks like, but I’m proud of all that I’ve accomplished.

In the fandom world, I’ll just say…joining and all that came with that. I loved Red, White & Royal Blue after my first read in June so much that I HAD to find others who loved it the same way I did. So taking the leap and joining a fandom, and diving deeper into it than I ever have before in any fandom between fics and edits and FRIENDS (real, genuine, true friends) is something I am so immensely proud of because it’s completely changed my life. My therapist said just yesterday “you’re so much more social now than you were when I met you” and it’s true. Despite the physical distance between me and all of you lovely humans, I feel more loved and more supported now than ever before, and I am proud of past me for taking a chance for herself and her happiness.

Thank you again for asking, love. Thinking about all these sources of pride absolutely made my day. ❤️

oh my god........ im emotional fr. this was so, so, SO much fun and stella, i will speak for EVERYONE you sent these asks to when i say that we are all so grateful to YOU for organizing it. you brought the community together in such an amazing way, asking us thought-provoking and interesting questions, a lot of which i never would have thought to ask. and yet i got to learn all my mutuals' answers anyway!!! it made me feel like i really got to know everyone, even the people im too scared to start a convo with bc i am a Coward. i love you, we all adore you, thank you SO much, and i cant wait to see where smoshblr goes in the new year now that we are all closer than ever <3<3<3<3<3

domo day/my birthday: oh my god. OHHHH my god. literally the fic that brought me back to this fandom. i am not crying its fine im FINE. domo - aka dancing on my own - was a passion project from the very start. i thought, 'well, no one will wanna read this niche lil fic that im writing just to deal with My very personal trauma about an rpf ship that no one cares about.' (mind you i started it before i even posted right side, so, like, i literally thought it was just me standing on a deserted island.) and then five or six months later... there we were. i posted it on my birthday (bc i Live for drama !) and god. the amount of love and support i got that day was... everything to me. when i said this was a passion project, i mean that it was truly one of the first things i sat down and wrote For Myself, without giving a fuck what anyone else would think. it was something i poured my heart and soul into because i needed to read it. and when other people started to reach out - telling me how much they related, how much they got from it, how much it meant to them. then there was the analyses of it from everyone,,,, not to mention the birthday love. my birthday is a HUGE thing for me, and, as i told you at the time, you were the very first person to wish me a happy birthday stella (with that incredible moodboard that i think of frequently........ the rat.........). and then kit went and published bad idea and gifted it to ME which was such an incredible and treasured gesture and... truly some of my irls forgot to wish me a happy birthday so. im just so honored and i love you all so much. thank you for loving me and my dearest darling daughter domo <333333

shaynse day: this literally isn't even about me, it's honestly about nat, but this changed my brain chemistry and i think everybody's tbh. it was the way that the MOMENT the love is blind video dropped, we all gathered around my blog to hold hands, sing kumbaya, and all hail the shaynse anon (aka now shaynse founder nat). they had their third eye OPEN. and everyone had to come check on them to make sure they were okay. that meant so much to me. not only did it mean that enough people were reading my blog that an anon had their own niche subset of a fan base, but it was truly like. one of the best displays of fandom togetherness i've ever seen. we were all so united that day. god bless november 19th, aka shaynse day, my FAVORITE national holiday.

gedits: i really Dont think i have to explain this one. this is one of my favorite bits (but also its not really a bit and i genuinely wanna fuck that old man). making thirst traps for garrett? oh my god. stroke of actual genius. once again another day we all came together, held hands, and decided we were ALL gonna be garrett fuckers. long live gedits. they will never stop and im NOT sorry about it.

the bsf fan art: i have literally never had fan art made for my fic before...... i screamed and cried and threw up when someone made fan art for the bed-sharing fic. furry-jackson is my hero and this fan art lives in my mind RENT FUCKING FREE. it truly imprinted itself on my brain and i think about it all the time. thanks so much to them for loving i could be the reason as much as i do <3333
