🪻✨Capricorn risings are very full of themselves to be honest. They have an overall pleasant reputation and are loved (Libra 10th+Cancer 7th) but for some reason they're actually very individualistic and conceited deep down, like they think of themselves as being 'on other level' than others. I think this is because their shadow revolves around their ego (Leo 8th house) and we all know they love status but unfortunately fame and popularity tends to change them and/or take out their toxic traits (Scorpio 11th house). ✨ An Outlook on Fics into 2024 ✨

For my own peace of mind, I try not to keep an update schedule since life tends to be unpredictable and I will give myself a hard time if I miss a 'deadline'. However, there are a number of projects that I'm looking forward to updating or uploading in the new year.

I'm mainly looking to post more updates for my multi-chapter fics. In 2023, especially at the end, I posted a lot of one-shots so I could make my goal of 100 DPxDC fics (which I did, yay!!) but I want a little change of pace this year.

lex luthor's ascent updates

We have 57 chapters left for lex luthor's ascent from supervillainy to fatherhood. Obviously if I posted one chapter a week, I still wouldn't be able to finish in the next year. These past couple updates have also been averaging at 10k per chapter, which makes it much harder to post quickly and consistently. However, this means we have a very exciting opportunity to possible reach 1 million words by the time this fic is finished!

Off With [the Demon's] Head updates

I am hoping to post more for Off With [the Demon's] Head. For a while I was very burnt out from the idea, as I had fallen out of love with the Ghost King concept for a very long time. I was also struggling to write Dad!Danny when I wanted so desperately to write Ellie as her own person, but it's much harder to give her independence when she's eight years old to Danny's seventeen.

Nonetheless, I gave the fic a look and I decided that there is a way I could finish this with an exciting ending. Exciting for me, or exciting for you, we'll have to see. lol This also means I won't have to rewrite the fic like I had originally worried! I have yet to update the chapter count, but I am very pleased (and a little exasperated) to say that we're looking at a projected 75 chapters in total. Which leaves us with 60 chapters left of this fic.

bloodlines updates

Another long one, bloodlines is going to take a very long time to finish. I have pretty much the entire fic planned out, but with all my other fic updates, it might take some time to write/post. We're looking anywhere from 30-50 chapters for this fic, however. Depending on how much plot I can squeeze into each update. At the moment I have no plans to confirm the chapter total.

💚 first up is inna ! she filled a skeleton, the wizards apprentice, one of two. she lives on whale island with the crazy old grumpy wizard, and is a curse-breaker extraordinaire (ok not extraordinaire, she’s still learning to push the boundaries every day). she’s minding her own business day in day out, tryna make a living, change the world, as one does.

her step brother (who’s a wanted connection for me actually) was her best friend growing up and for a long time. unfortunately he was bitten and followed to become a cursed-blood. since then, she climbed the beanstalk, marched up to the wizard, demanded he help her learn (with her stutter and soft spoken voice and lisp and all) and since then she’s learning every day to be stronger and better.

tends to dress in a somewhat ostentatious matter, with often handmade clothes knitted, painted or patched herself. her clothes tend to wear her more so than her wearing them

markedly, she can have a somewhat similar manner to the wizard of whale island himself, and they have a seesaw relationship that’s known to come to verbal blows from time to time

a talented artist, particularly with scenic, life study and architecture. originally, she intended to be an architect for a living, prior to certain events changing her goal and life

despite her tiny voice and soft vibes, she’s a very strong woman, single minded and focused, snarky and creative but not the type of person to let her herself be distracted.

💙 niko ! my original character! my little gremlin detective. he grew up to a relatively normal family who for the most part, didn’t take much part in magic or anything in the lands that came with it. but then it all started (when the [boundary] attacked 🤡) when he started hearing the ✨whispers✨. originally, he had a hard time placing what exactly was happening due to his family being Not The Type. but when he realized, it was a hell of a coming to terms for him for sure. realizing despite your attempts at a honest, boring old life, you’ve gone and become a medium? so divination it was and he actually went ahead and at least attempted to learn how to tap into his abilities appropriately (since it was somewhat driving him crazy? and the use of a gemstone to help channel was Much needed) and the rest is somewhat history.

he’s a conspiracy nut, more snark than man, vampire habits (never enters without being invited, hates sunlight, hates garlic, hunches like dracula with terrible posture, and generally is suspected of being a bloodsucker — at least at work). ngl to you guys, he can be so unpleasant and assholeish, but in a 🍾 fun way sometimes lol.

his numerous coping mechanisms are a running joke among anyone from colleagues and coworkers to friends to family; from coffee at midnight to bad jokes during serious moments, to smoking before quitting before smoking again, it’s hard to discern his intentions or true feelings

he works a lot of morbid cases, seeing as how his business card does in fact, have his divination plugged on the card. lots of lost and missing persons, and other sad things.

reluctant cat lover who not only owns one of his own, unofficially harbors strays through letting them in during rain storms, and feeding them any time he spots them roaming nearby (a very well kept secret)

let’s just say he does in fact have a lot of nightmares and the man is Tired of GHosts!!!

My take on the Addisons!!!!

Now the question is.... Any sugestions for the size of Spamton there? XD I like the idea of tiny Spamton, but not soooo tiny so I'm still not sure where to put it (?)

ALSO!!!! Here I have some headcanons if any of you want to read it~ Just for clarify, MY HEADCANONS so it's ok if you agree or disagree with them~

Blue

• The more new on the group

• Still with a low experience selling, that's why the only thing he do now is give free samples so he can get the attention of customers that will be attended by the others Addisons [Like in the game where he doesn't sell anything but still give free samples]

• Have calm and passive personality [Since is the only one with cool color pallete]

• Since he's the newbie on the group, he admire his others coworkers and he soon will have more complex chores to introduce him on the general sales

• Still without a specialty but in search of one

• When Spamton was still on the group, Blue was constantly talking with him and Spamton give him advices and also anecdotes like if he was a great salesman [False things, but Blue know it and since he saw Spamton happy about that he let Spamton continue]

• After Spamton's departure, he was one of the most affected because although it wasn't his turn on the sales, the fear to ended up like Spamton started to growing in him

Orange

• The one with the easiest speech on the group

• With the most experience selling, enough to start with risky sales of products that are worth less than they should and still succed selling them [Like the dress of the game]

• Have explosive and cherfull personality

• Since he have more selling skills he tends to help Blue with advices and motivational words; and for Pink he tends to help him trying to convincente Pink to take less work, but without a lot of changes of that at the moment

• His specialty is the fashion

• When Spamton was still on the group, he was the one who put the most pressure on Spamton to be able to sell his products better, not with bad intentions, but the excess of energy ended up exhausting and confusing Spamton even if he was doing his best trying to follow the advices of Orange

• After Spamton's departure, Orange started to advise better his coworkers, he felt that he didn't do his best with Spamton and didn't want to make the same mistake with the others

Pink

• The one with more works of the group

• Since he have neutral sells, he tries to improve his income working with more than one job at the same time [That's why he sells cotton candy, tea, the couple shoes, the freezing ring and more]

• Have a loving and caring personality

• Tends to being overworked to maintain good income, ended up more exhaust in comparison of his coworkers at the end of each working day, but even though his friends advise him to take the work slowly, Pink still takes a lots of works at the same time. Blue's the one who help Pink with his free samples and Orange tries to help Pink taking the most difficult works taking advance of his working skills so Pink doesn't have to

• His specialty is the sale of couple products

• When Spamton was still on the group, he was the one with the closest relationship with Spamton, being the one who interacted the most with Spamton and despite Pink had less breaks from work that his others coworkers [Due to his multyple jobs] the few that Pink had it was with the companion of Spamton

• After Spamton's departure and due to his close relationship with him, Pink was the most affected, but despite that he didn't give up with the idea of continue the interaction with Spamton. He's the only one who didn't say anything if you ask him about Spamton [Like in the games] because remember Spamton makes him so sad and in order to avoild that he started to take more and more works to mantain his mind busy

Yellow

• He's the leader of the Addisons

• He's in charge of the sales analysis, guide his coworkers, establish goals and more things in order to help the others Addisons, everything from the general work office of the Addisons [Thats why he didn't appear on the streets selling but it can be after the Spamton NEO battle]

• Have kind and active personality, and also have a great leadeship

• Since he's in charge of the general analysis for the Addisons, he don't do direct sales but he can find the best sales strategies.He's also the one who organize the work and casual meetings with the Addisons. He give general advices to his coworkers and the one in charge to find the products and sales offers to then give them to the others. He's also the one in charge of the job interviews in case of anyone whants to be part of the Addisons

• His specialty is the marketing and the leadership with his coworkers

• When Spamton was still on the group, Yellow was the one who received in the group and the one who tries to give it the best work according to the type of profile that has Spamton despite in the end his sales didn't improve, a thing that makes Yellow confused trying to think of the "think" that Spamton was missing

• After Spamton's departure, Yellow blame himself to not be able to be a good leader for Spamton, making him working more harder so he can avoild the same with the others, achieving then better sales for the Addisons

General

• The Addisons are only coworkers and don't have any family relationship at all

• They work monday to friday. On the mornings with the sales plans; on the afternoon everyone except Yellow go to do their working day while Yellow to work office; and in the night they return to the office to make the general sales reports

• The saturdays are optional days for work, taking for Pink and Yellow while Blue and Orange takes the day off

• The sundays everyone takes the day off and Yellow organize night meetings on the Color Cafe so all of them can interact and sometimes start planing things for the new week of work

• All the Addisons measure the same [1.70m] and also use custom work uniforms according to the color of each Addison

Be careful with who you choose to listen to (there has been people in the past who put negative affirmations in stuff and caused bad things to happen) but after listening to whatever over and over it can work! It's just to help hype you and yourself ya know? Also manifestation since life can really be like that. Consider this a tip from someone like an older sister, whatever makes you comfortable! Well that’s completely up to you! Since witchcraft is so broad and can be practiced in so many different ways to achieve many different goals, all I can say to you is think about what spirituality means to You and what you hope to achieve through it.

For instance, if you’re simply looking to connect more with nature and keep a balance between what you take and give back to Mother Earth then witchcraft can help you do this.

If you’re interested in learning divination/protection/spell work etc. then you can pursue this too of course.

The wonderful thing about witchcraft as well is that although there are strict rules to it, it’s not one ‘solid’ ideology like organised religions tend to be; in fact, it isn’t a religion at all (which is unfortunately a common misconception). That means you can use witchcraft as a tool to manifest your goals in life, and you can also do this as a practice alongside a faith or religious identity you identify with (if you do; you don’t have to of course).

At the end of the day, witchcraft is a practice that encourages balance, peace, knowledge, action, independence, and self-empowerment through connecting with and respecting nature, your higher/true self, and utilising your energy and the energy of your tools (such as tarot cards, runes, herbs, crystals, celestial objects, or something dear to you personally) to set your intentions and manifest your goals into your life. These can be as simple as clearing your energy and focusing your mind or encouraging your plants to grow, to anything from protecting yourself and loved ones from harm or hexing a wrong-doer. You could work on any or all, depending on what you’d like to achieve. 🧹✨

It’s also important to remember that each individual witch’s craft will be unique based on their background, environment, and preferred tools and practices etc. so it wouldn’t be wise to compare your craft too closely to another witch’s.
