EXCUSE ME WHILE I MELT INTO A PUDDLE.

So, I use Scrivener for my writing projects, and I panicked, because a section I wrote that I cut, thinking that I would add it into another chapter when it seemed like a good fit, WENT MISSING.

Cue me sitting at my laptop for 30 minutes, tearing through every chapter of the Rolan x Tav fic, searching for one of my 'spare parts' files and coming up empty handed.

This scared me even more because @milkshakestogo recently lost the most recent version of her manuscript and couldn't recover it (Milkshakes, you almost got a horrified, all caps text btw).

The good news is that I found the 'spare parts' file in question and I am very happy, because I think the excerpt I snagged provides some dimension for this chapter. But the anxiety has left me a puddle of anxious goo. :')

No matter what, friends, back up your Scrivener files! Do it to Google Docs or even to something Microsoft, but DO NOT rely on one writing program for your projects.
