Has this been done as a poll yet?? Apologies if it has! It’s a very morbid one but it’s always been an incredibly divisive question and I’m curious.

Admittedly these are very simplistic answers. The reason being, whilst I acknowledge there’s more room for dimension of feeling there, I wanted to get to the basics of it if you like? Boiled down, when those charges against Anne were drawn up, did Henry honestly think they were true?

I’m not so sure.. #have to say I’m convinced by MacCulloch’s suggestion that Anne and Thomas Did Not Get On #even if they worked together on aspects of the reformation his evidence is solid enough imo to support the idea they weren’t allies #(the reformation is where they found some common ground it seems? #they agreed on the poor laws he’d had drafted it looks like? #and both disliked and pushed back against the legislation that went through parliament re: monastic closure) #for example #but overall #seems they tried to work around each other for the most part. again elements of the reformation excepted #and that would presumably cause issues and conflicts of interest. #on top of any personality clashes etc. #but could that crystallise into a plot of that calibre absent of Henry’s involvement? #or his approval? #again.. not so sure #henry viii #anne boleyn #thomas cromwell #Tudor history #poll

So what do you do when your favourite rapper makes a catchy song about the hardships of life that you want to love but upon release can’t connect with at all and after a few listens almost outright dislike because none of the pain and hardship life has put you through has ever made you a better person or given you the energy/motivation to do better and it actually just did the complete opposite and you’ve lost out on precious years of your life and so many opportunities while trying to process the trauma and undo the damage

But everyone else seems to love the song to the point that you start to wonder if maybe you’re just a fucking idiot for not being able to make something good out of said trauma and hardship instead of just being filled with crippling anxiety and depression and bitterness and grief and rage

I never watched scar much before last month but that changed when I got recommended his ‘tour of scarland’ video and midway through he was talking about his childhood dreams of being an imagineer but couldn’t because of health and yet he still tried to follow his dreams despite it all and I cried for an entire hour because I knew that nothing I did would matter if I couldn’t dream and now I have a better idea of what I want to do with my life and I’m also an avid Goodtimeswithscar watcher . Scar you will always be famous thank you for helping me live a little bit more

I told my friend I thought song of Achilles was not a great book (not bad just 3 stars and overhyped) because the treatment of the female characters to prop up the white male gay protags was not the best and that Circe was WAY better in terms of developing compelling characters with motivations beyond bottoming for a blond twunk- we spent an hour arguing in depth she ripped me apart and said I was incredibly biased and that it’s insufferable to talk about media with me. Turns out she never even read it she just wanted to argue with me to get me engaged and worked up about something bc I’ve been a shell for weeks and had another doctors appointment today where I got news I wasn’t hoping for. This is the happiest I’ve been since I got sick, she even drove me to the library to pick out more books together after my appointment just so she could see me be a person again.

#she also lost her mind when I was arguing that I hate self centered whiny white boys #because my fav classic is catcher in the rye #and she HATES catcher in the rye #ugh #I’ve been depressed and upset and freaking out over the appointments and shit #and often she pushes me a little too far with what I need to do to take care of myself #and it can be frustrating #but like #there is a reason why out of everyone #she’s the one who comes with me to all my appointments and waits in the lobby for me until I’m done and lets me feel my feelings #and then knows just what to say to make me a person again #I feel so good #for the first time in a long time I feel happy after spending time with her #(through no fault of her own it’s just she’s the person I feel safe with processing big scary feelings and usually going to the doctor #and getting told new news about my health isn’t exactly a fun time)

Let that sink in. #Even in the early phases (Hansel/Gretel) they were designed specifically to be a stronger more logical machine and a human-esque creation #Vista was never meant to be as strong mentally or physically as Program could #but they pushed through anyway. The perceived imbalance between them will always get me #Vista/Gretel thought Koeia liked Program/Hansel more because he served a purpose #Program/Hansel thought Koeia liked Vista/Gretel more because they were like her “daughter” #And later Program ends up putting aside their differences to look out for them #“For the greater good” my ass! He cared about their well being more because he knew they were supposedly “weaker” than him #but realizing there wasn’t much of a difference between them in Koeia’s eyes made him feel compelled to shield them from some things #He figured that they were meant to be like siblings #he wanted to be their sibling #They wanted to too but they didn’t want to be inferior #They felt that Program was better than them in every way. It was him that made the project possible after all! #Clearly he /must/ be better right? #So they’re stuck in a weird spot of not having known each other for years and only perceiving what they thin other was compared to themself #And then being thrown into a situation where they’re trying to make it out together #Even as early as before the incident Program was looking out for Vista #Program felt threatened by Clay sometimes and would try to tell Vista to get out #Him attacking Clay was his way of trying to help #Which only fucks up Moon a little more when Procyon starts taking that same “helping” role and gets Clay…you know…speared…. #And they feel so betrayed it sends them into an entire spiral of barely knowing who they are anymore #Anyways I didn’t meant to rant bye bye #S.K thinks #I hope this changes someone’s perception of Moon as a whole. Just one person I’ll be happy with that

I do miss drawing but to be honest the reason I haven’t drawn much in the past year is bc I’m so involved in other art projects (scripts, collage, other forms of writing like character journal + poetry..) that are way more fun. I’ve drawn a few pretty decent pieces but for me it needs to be extremely accurate to my ocs and I’m not that skilled lol

#also gonna be honest here. my lack of skill is pretty discouraging. if that was inhibiting me from creating at all I would push through but #I’m happy moving to other mediums so for now it doesn’t matter… but I’m sure it will lol #my reason for learning to draw in the first place was so I could put faces to the names I was creating.. #I’m sure I’ll go back to it at some point but :>
