For my followers who own these awesome pieces of kit. Even though they’re only 6’x6’ the things you can do with 2 or more of them is pretty freakin sweet.
I’ve been asked by WoodlandsTV to produce a few films on bushcraft activities for the woods. Here’s the first one I made a short while ago. How I make feather sticks. If you haven’t tried it before you should, it’a a great knife skill to master and an excellent way to light a fire.
If you don’t get out there, you’ll never know what you’re missing. Have a great weekend everyone! What’s your plans? I’m going to try and get up to the mountains for a bit. #outdoors #hike #nature #survival #hiking #backpack #zionnps #backpacking #bushcraft #survivalgear #bushcrafting #explore #adventure #zion #bushcraftandprepping #gregorypacks #zionnationalpark #nationalparks #nationalpark (at Zion National Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/CgnOiycv5tq/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Because I was talking about it in a different post, here’s my DIY ghillie suit using a Plash Palatka. I’m not sold on the burlap, but all the jute twine and hemp rope unraveled works really well at breaking up that human profile. No guarantees against thermals! Lol!
