While the news leading up to the release of the DLC showed a lot of what was going to be in it, it seems Game Freak decided to hide a couple of new Legendaries until after The Crown Tundra’s release.... namely, a duo of legendary horses!

The first of this duo, Glastrier, is a pure Ice-type draft horse... that is definitely not at all tame! Not only is its species name “Wild Horse Pokemon”, it is very aggressive and takes whatever it wants by force! It’s normally a pretty slow Pokemon... but when Glastrier wants to really get going, it freezes the ground with the cold air emitted from its hooves, allowing it to slide around on the sheet of ice created! (In other words, taunt Glastrier from a distance and you could wind up with a giant, very ornery feral draft horse barreling at you like a very fast curling stone.)

#pokemon #doodledex #glastrier #so.... i assume some of the people following me have seen that post bunjywunjy blazed about horse tails #(also apologies to bunjy if this post winds up... uh... pinging them because i mentioned them in a tag #i think it just has to be the name by itself but you never know) #but if you haven't seen it glastrier's tail gives you a pretty good idea of what's going on #...that said i have no idea why they made its tail so bare #some draft horses have their tails docked so the long hair doesn't get in any equipment #and glastrier does have a short tail... but the ice at the end implies that's where the hair is #(or glastrier's just bald... which is a worrying thought!)

That means, halve the usage by buildings you live and work in. Halve the emissions from your gasoline/petrol car (hello public transit). Halve the emissions from the food you eat (reduce food waste, eat more plants). Halve the electricity generated from non-renewable sources. Halve the things you buy (reduce, reuse) or make sure that what you do buy has half the carbon footprint (recycle recycle recycle).

I took @bunjywunjy's example (thanks for the inspiration!) and honoured Black Friday Buy Nothing Day by traipsing off into the woods with a packed lunch and a thermos full of tea. My phone crapped out almost immediately because it can't handle the cold, but I managed to get a couple of shots before that.

The river's starting to freeze over.

Some enterprising local's riverside grill station that they forgot to pick up before it snowed.

A birdhouse with a curiously positioned entrace. I don't remember outright what species this type is for, and I don't think it's for bats.

And sunset colours near my home. The moon came up while I was taking a meal break and though it's not full yet, it looked remarkably big and bright.

Once I got home I baked some buns, stuffed my face and took a hot shower.

10/10 use of my time, feel very refreshed, beats getting elbowed in the solar plexus while surrounded by overpriced sale items I don't need.
