#6 Days to Finals 🌔

Wtf?! 6 Days? How?!

I’d be relieved to be honest but since I’ve started “revising” OBG, it feels like a tiresome process. I want to freeze time.

Woke up at 5:30am today :)

I wrote down my record submission commitment in my BuJo. Now I’ll prioritise it because it has a deadline.

Hoping for the best today!

Given the exams, I made the simplest possible BuJo spread for March. Had that M lying around from an old cookie box. Best out of waste at its peak efficiency xD

I don’t know where to begin about this day. The plan was OBG which I did, to some extent, and then I entered the Orthopaedics flow and got some confidence in that subject. I’ve made a list of remaining topics; planning to cover them by tomorrow :)

This song took me back 10 years and filled me with vigour today. That story is for another day ;)

Today while walking at sunset, I bumped into a senior who gave me a life altering realisation- I have two days to revise for the OBG exam and literally half a day to revise for Surgery Paper 2, which, even though my strongest, is probably the HEFTIEST of them all. I’ve been allocating my time all wrong!

Yet, I opened my surgery textbook at night but felt so overwhelmed that in a short while, I gave up. I can say that I retained what I read, but I was so confused in where to begin and how to and what not to that I just started feeling scared. I hopped onto my phone to talk it out with friends but none was available, so this happened-

I chose to be my own best friend.

I kept my phone aside, changed into night clothes, dimmed the lights, did skin care and sat down in a comfortable spot with a candle and music and work to do. And I did that. I did that in peace, happiness and calm.

I have a plan for bypassing the fear and anxiety. Will put it into action tomorrow :)

Oh and I learnt a new song on my uke you and my best friend got accepted in Stanford University!!!! 🎉
