Think I’m just gonna stick to ff until the finale lol

as you should! i might watch the next one though cause it seems plot related. seen the love confession clip, and it was nothing amazing (it wasn't a bad scene! i'm a hater but an objective one, like i said) and interesting how they used the same words of the bughead scene they just recently reminded us of? anyway, i do have some hopes for next season, but i've particularly scraped this one as not for bhva! not because of anything that's happening to ba, btw, just because this season is generally weird.

i heard not much happened to the jug plot. that's what i'm interested on.

this episode was so good for content creators. it’s hard to create consistently in such a negative space all the time (esp with some of the asks we get), the show is one thing because canon has been angsty but to have half the fandom yelling at you about it and then not engage with it like they used to? 

it’s rough. 

it’s just very motivating to have their first big interaction be so positive.💜

#76: “Please put your penis away.” (I’m hoping I’m choosing the right drabble list because I have like three. Also I’m sorry for how late this is happening but I was super busy with family Christmas stuff!!! It is also because of this excuse that I have decided to make this sort of Christmas-themed. I hope you like it!)

As the clock neared 6, Betty’s hair seemed to get frizzier. Jughead had tried numerous ways to calm his fiancee’s nerves but nothing seemed to be working. In fact, the more he tried, the worse her anxiety seemed to get. He understood why - announcing that she was engaged and pregnant in one night was a bit of pressure (especially considering her parents had never really approved of him) but they had decided that they should do it sooner rather than putting it off for nine months. 

“Remind me again why we decided to tell them tonight instead of running away to live in the Amazon for nine months?” Betty said through gritted teeth. Jughead chuckled and shook his head. 

“Because we decided to get it over with. What they think doesn’t matter but if they’re happy for us, at least we’ll have all that extra support. Also, according to Google, there are 70,000 species of insects in one acre of the Amazon so if you want to run away and live there, I love you, but you’re doing that alone,” he smiled at her, pressing her shoulders. She slapped his hands away and he shook his head.

“Ugh I hate it when you make sense.”

“You know what? I have the perfect thing to put you in a good mood!” He exclaimed and she looked at him with hopeful eyes. Flashing her a grin, he ran into their bedroom.

“Two tickets to the Amazon jungle?”

“Even better!” He replied from within. 

“Tickets to Siberia?” She never got a response because instead, Jughead walked out completely nude, grinning at her. In a miraculous turn of events, Betty looked at him once, head to toe, and then burst out laughing. It wasn’t exactly the outcome he had hoped for but she was still smiling more than she had since they decided on this Christmas plan. 

“You always know how to boost my ego, Betty Cooper,” he feigned hurt and, still giggling, she walked over to him, shaking her head.

“I’m sorry,” she finally managed to reign in the laughter and kissed him. “It’s times like these that I am once again convinced that falling in love with you is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.” He grinned and leaned in for another kiss when the doorbell rang. “That would be my parents. Punctual as always.”

“Maybe we can make them wait for fifteen minutes,” he murmured against her lips and she smiled, about to kiss him when the doorbell rang again. He groaned and she glanced back, moving away to answer it. “I hate your stupid, punctual family.”

“Me too. But please put your penis away and go get dressed. I need to open the door,” she said and he rolled his eyes. 

“Can I take it out later?” He asked, a mischevious glint in his eye. A slow smile crept onto her face and she cocked her head to one side, glancing down at it.

“It depends on how good you are tonight, doesn’t it?” And she turned around to open the door, forcing him to sprint into their bedroom to rapidly cover up his erection.
