You being salty over captain american ever since CW is literaly my mood these past 5 months when i remembered the movie did actually happen

I saw the damn movie in the cinema. Twice. I didn’t want to see it a second time, the first one was traumatic enough! But I went with my BFF first and my mother wanted to see it too and so I went again...

Then I bought the BluRay the day it came out and it stayed wrapped in plastic until last year shortly before IW came out.

The absolute lack of communication enrages me, Steve’s stubborness and Buckyvision is enough to make me scream at the screen and while I hate Howard with the burning passion of a thousand suns I didn’t want to have Tony witness his death, you know? We don’t talk about Maria. That’s too sad even for me. Poor Tony. And he doesn’t even have Pepper to go home to in the movie which makes it even sadder. Badly hurt with an injured BF and no partner to be there for him. We still don’t know how he managed to drag himself out of that forsaken bunker and go home. Other people would have given up but Tony I-have-a-death-wish Stark? Nooo, he’s stronger than that.

You don’t leave people to freeze to death in Siberia, Steve, least of all when they’re hurt and normal human beings without any protection against the cold.

I have ranted about this movie to my mother so much it’s ridiculous. (She rants right back, bless her. She’s not into fandom, but she’s into the MCU. She’s not a hardcore Tony-is-right girl like me but she hates the Buckyvision just as much.)

I love The Winter Soldier, I really do. CW? Nope. But do you know what it was? Still a better Avengers movie than Age of Ultron. Because it wasn’t a mind- and heartless CGI-battle with barely enough emotional content to hold it together. It makes me feel things while AoU just makes me shake my head and forget about it. There wasn’t much good in AoU except the scenes with Tony and Bruce.

I’m more salty than the dead sea and it shows. Sorry. 💫
