I need to know who wrote Buckleming's episodes in S8.
There's no way they ACTUALLY did bcuz 3 of the 4 had some of the most memorable Destiel scenes/lines AND outside of that were really good.
BUT of course they blew it w/ the racist, sexist, disgusting 'Man's Best Friend w/ Benefits' that no one would ever question the authenticity, bcuz they CLEARLY wrote it. 🤢
I MEAN FOR REAL!?
We're supposed to believe that all of this happened in a "Buckleming ep"!?
Dean may have gaslit himself to deal with losing Cas; but that DEF won't work on me!!!
AND THIS FREAKING EXCHANGE IN TAXI DRIVER.
NO FUCKING WAY DID BUCKLEMING DO THIS!!
😭😭😭😭😭 11 years and I have still not recovered from witnessing the exact moment Dean's heart shattered into a billion pieces at Naomi's bullshit words. His face was literally the epitome of that one Ralphie Wiggum from the Simpsons scene.

Funniest aspect to the fandom collectively deciding there is no 15x20 however is that does mean we voluntarily and without hesitation chose a Buckleming finale as our truth, and doesn't that just say. So much.

This exchange from holy terror is so funny to me – the need for this spell has existed all season and 1) the concept is only even thought of when relevant to Sam in a way that makes explicit it’s been needed for 9 episodes already at this point 2) it continues to be relevant for the rest of the season, and is never brought up again. They are terrible at their jobs (both salmondean and the spn writers)

Jared being like trying to be polite like. Yeah a lot of new writers must not know everything. This is why they're making Sam and Lucifer like that. They don't get the history. As if. As if that isn't entirely foundational for the entire character theyre supposed to write in a show they should know. and as if buckleming haven't been there since before season fucking seven.

I believe in “Death of the Author” not as a literary theory but as a threat, actually

Buckleming writing a Supernatural episode like:
[7-year-old unable to maintain single cohesive storyline while playing with action figures]

It's really funny that Supernatural often had two banger episodes in a row followed by a dogshit episode and you just knew that it was Buckleming once again. Didn't even have to see their names in the credits. It's an episode that absolutely needed the combined effort of two people to be this goddamn awful.

Everytime I remember Buckleming created Scarecrow and Mrs King in 1983 I have a full on existential crisis. It makes so much sense and raises so many questions at the same time.
