Eddie: Y’know what? I can’t believe this! Do you know what you did? My boyfriend is out there thinking things over! You made my boyfriend think!!
Taylor: Well I’m sorry.
Eddie: And what does he have to think about? I love him!
Taylor: Well, apparently I’m willing to offer Buck things now that you are not.
Eddie: But I am willing to offer him all those things! This was just a plan, y’know? A way to throw him off course so that when I offered him all these things, he’d be surprised!
Taylor: Well if it helps, it worked VERY well...
Eddie: It was working until you showed up again! I mean, this isn’t fair! You had your chance with Buck! You had your chance and you BLEW IT! And this is MY chance and I am not going to blow it because WE are MEANT for each other! And this has all just been one stupid mistake! [Eddie sits down on Taylor's couch] I was gonna propose tonight!
Taylor: You were gonna propose?
Eddie: Yeah I even got a ring [shows her the ring box]. Did YOU get him a ring?
Taylor: No I don’t have a ring!...You go get him, Eddie. And can I give you a piece of advice? If you do get him...don’t let him go.
oh my goddd the moment of realization for taylor :'))
may day has been a MASSIVE episode and there are MUCH bigger things for me to be screaming about (which @after-nine-at-the-oasis has heard all about) but THIS moment in particular. This episode and last episode has been filmed beautifully
feeling sad for Taylor Kelly but I think they should've broken up a while ago now. Their whole relationship feels so forced :( the chemistry is GONE. Atp why are they together? If not just filling a void. I loved them both in the beginning but the relationship is DEAD
OTHER things I wanted to yell about publicly??
well frist Albert's appearance as a firefighter again! wonderful! had bme nervous AND rightfully so!! It would've been SO cruel for the writers to do that to howie. Making chimney lose TWO brothers on a roof to a fire would be exponentially cruel.
To be perfectly honest, I'm quite disappointed with 5x17 Hero Complex episode. First, the Jonah Hero complex storyline was too rushed. Could've been better if it was a 2-part episode. Second, Hen and Chim's friendship deserves more screen time. Third, Eddie and his father. Like idk it feels forced and rushed too. I didn't feel a single thing about any of their interactions. Fourth, Taylor Kelly. Like I know she'll always prioritize her work before her boyfriend's relationships/family but idk, she's a journalist. It's her job to tell a story regardless but I really get the consideration part but still... I just don't like how they made Taylor seem to be the bad guy in their relationship when they could've end up their relationship in mutual decision and not triggered by Taylor's work ethic. And finally, Buck! Did they cut Buck and Christopher's scenes? And Uncle Buck scenes? Why?!
The only good thing about the episode was Bryce Durfee. He's an enigma. He was so effective playing Jonah Greenway. Great acting showcase and a great actor.
would any bucktaylor shippers be interested in a group writing sprint this Friday where we give eachother prompts and have to write a bucktaylor fic? this would consist of a group chat to signify when we have sprint breaks and when it’s time to start writing again as well as general thoughts towards our fics and the ship

“You’ll stay?” The meekness terrifies him a little, the fact that she sounds so lost and small. It’s never been the Taylor he knows, and he hates that she’s suffering like this.
“I’m not going anywhere.” It’s a promise, something that he’ll assure her of, no matter how many times he needs to say it. “I’m going to go downstairs and get the tea, then we’ll get you soaking and relaxed, okay?” He knows that the first step to feeling better is usually getting rid of that hospital feel. Taylor’s still got some soot in her hair, still has the sterile smell of the hospital clinging to her.
