Not proof read, just a short idea that I had, and wanted to share lol

Today is a rare day for you and your boyfriend, Taeyong. The two of you both have the day off, so naturally you wanted to spend it together. It’s still rather early in the morning, and you and Taeyong are in the kitchen finishing up the breakfast that the two of you prepared together.

“Baby, do you think I’m a good boyfriend?” Your boba eyed boyfriend asked out of the blue.

“Tae of course I do! What makes you think I wouldn’t think that?” Surprise taking over your voice as you are shocked from the sudden question.

“I don't know, I was just thinking, you know about other relationships, and how other guys are able to spend more time with their girlfriends, and don't have to leave for long periods of time like I do.” He replies, voice slowly becoming quieter.

Without another word, you stopped what you were doing, and walked to your boyfriend, wrapping your arms around him from behind, slightly startling him.

“I wouldn’t want to be with anyone but you, Tae. I know you can’t be there the way you want to, but I also know that your job is something that you love. I would never want you to give that up. I love you for you Tae, nothing will change that. We’ve made it this long being in a relationship, we can make it longer. But you are the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me, even if you can’t be there the way you want to. I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world.”

Your gentle voice is the most beautiful song to his ears. Unable to speak from your sudden affirmation, he turns to face you. Tears threatening to spill out of his eyes, he looks at you and pulls you into the tightest hug. Gentle sniffles come from him, as he holds you as close to him as he can.

That’s when he realized just how much he needs you in his life. He lives a rather chaotic life, and sometimes he can get carried away with chasing his dreams. Though he always manages to make those dreams come true, none of them are more genuine to him than his dreams of being with you. You keep him grounded. You keep his mind at ease. You remind him that no matter where he goes in his crazy life, he always has his home to return to. He always has you to return to.

“I love you so much, y/n. Please never forget that.” He says between sniffles.

“I love you too yongie, I’m not going anywhere, you’re stuck with me.” You reply with a small chuckle. “Now, should we get ready for the rest of the day?”

“Can I just hold you for a little longer?” He asks quietly, earning a hum of approval from you.

For another few minutes, the two of you stand in the kitchen, enjoying each other's embrace, simply taking in the moment. A sense of peace envelopes both of you, knowing that both of your hearts have found their forever homes. Knowing that the two of you have each other no matter what.
