Bed Cuddles
Tumblr media
Summary: A storm causes your flight to be cancelled, and of course you and your friends could only get a hotel room with one bed. After a loss of rock, paper, scissors, you find yourself in a cuddle situation dangerous for your heart and imagination.
Written for the BTS Ghosite Marathon. Prompt: Tropes: Bed Sharing.
Drabble: 10/30
Pairing: f. Reader x Jimin x Taehyung
Genre: fluff, there’s only one bed!
Warnings: cuddling, sexy sleepy/morning voices, morning wood, suggestive content, dirty thoughts
Word Count: 722
A/N: After typing this out, it hits me that this feels like a prequel to magic hands relationship.
Tumblr media
Who would have known the day would have ended like this? You are currently sandwiched in between your two friends on a single queen-sized hotel bed. Well, it was more like Taehyung was wrapped around you like a burrito, his habit of needing to hold someone kicked in soon after you got settled in bed.
Being hugged to death in your attractive friend’s sleep was only one of your problems. The other was Park Jimin. Really, he was doing nothing wrong, but he rolled over in his sleep and is now facing you and is oh so close, too close. Tiny breaths slip out of his parted lips and brush against your face. You feel like you are going to self-combust.
Dirty thoughts race through your mind and you hate that you’re thinking of your two peacefully sleeping friends in such a manner. The urge to literally slap some sense into yourself is very compelling right now. However, it is an impossible feat due to Taehyung’s strong arms pinning your own down. This brings a new wave of nasty thoughts where Taehyung holds you much like this but with intent as Jimin does things to your front.
Turning your head to the side, you scream mentally into your pillow. Curse the storm outside canceling your flight and all the other hotel rooms being booked. Seriously though, you got lucky with this room and just very unlucky at rock, paper, scissors, hence why you are in the middle of the bed.
“What’s wrong?” a voice laden with sleep, deep and husky, asks.
Startled, you jump slightly, or as much as you can in Taehyung’s hold, and turn your face away from the pillow to see Jimin staring at you with half lidded eyes. You gulp and your mouth feels dry all of a sudden. A groan rumbles behind you and the arms around you tighten to pull your back firmly into Taehyung’s chest.
“Can’t sleep,” you whisper quietly.
“Is Tae’s cuddles bothering you?”
Yes, they were, but probably not in the way Jimin was thinking.
“No, he’s fine. I think I’m just not used to sleeping with anyone like this or cuddles in general.”
Jimin pouts, “you don’t like cuddles?”
You shrug the best you can in your position. “Just never had a cuddling situation present itself, I guess. Like maybe a couple of times but it was just like someone resting their head on my shoulder…or Yeontan.”
Jimin’s pout deepens at your lackluster cuddle life, how could he and Taehyung as your friend not give you every cuddling opportunity possible? They are the cuddling kings. Grinning sleepily, he plans to remedy that.
Your heart pounds at how precious he looks and you just want to melt.
“Can I present you with a cuddle?” he chuckles, “make that a cuddle sandwich?”
You thought that was what this was already, but apparently not. “Sure,” you whisper against your better judgement. You really must be touch starved.
Jimin scoots closer and gently places an arm around your waist. His head comes to rest against your chest and he nuzzles into it. You tilt your head back slightly, careful not the headbutt Taehyung, and mouth ‘oh my god’ in your shock. Everyone’s legs are now in a messy entanglement and you are thoroughly cuddled. Your heart is beathing rapidly and you’re somewhat surprised it isn’t startling your two friends awake. After a few deep breaths you find the stress from the day, the comfort of the mattress, and the warmth of your two friends lulling you to sleep.
It was actually a really comforting sleep, one you haven’t had in a long time. You wake up feeling surprisingly refreshed when the morning call rang, but the realization that your two friends both had a case of the mooring wood throws you back in a state of turmoil. Your friends don’t take kindly to the alarm, Taehyung slams his hands down on it and then resumes cuddling you.
“Guys!” You wiggle, trying to get free. “We have to get up.”
Jimin’s groan in muffled with how far his face is pressed into your cleavage, “too comfy.”
“Five more minutes,” Taehyung wines into your ear with a voice somehow deeper and more luring than it normally is.
Sharing this bed was going to be the death of you.

❝ jungkook’s friends peer pressure him into renting a girlfriend for the evening. of course, jungkook’s only doing it to prove a point - that rent-a-girlfriend schemes DO NOT work. but when you show up for the date, jungkook’s resolve begins to waver.... ❞
➝ pairing: jungkook x female reader
➝ prompt: “do you take constructive criticism?” “i only take cash.”
➝ genre: fluff, rent-a-girlfriend au
➝ word count: 1.2k
➝ warnings: profanity; a lot of cheese
Tumblr media
It was a terrible idea - from beginning to end. This thought is all Jungkook fixates on as he walks you home from the restaurant.
When he initially heard about the rent-a-girlfriend company, Rented Hearts, he had scoffed at the idea. Imagine being desperate enough to actually spend money for the courtesy of taking someone out on a date.
Yet, with his friends Jimin and Taehyung pestering him about renting a girlfriend, with suggestions of “Hey, Jungkookie, this could help you get over your fear of talking to girls!” or “Wow, finally! A company that caters specifically to Jungkook!”, he had finally caved, and decided to rent a date – just to prove that it was a stupid idea.
What he had not counted on was his date being – dear god, no! - absolutely adorable.
You had arrived at the restaurant in a light pink summer dress, with puffy sleeves and a lacy skirt, and smiled your brightest smile for Jungkook. At that moment he realised he was in serious trouble. There was no way he could talk to you. You were too pretty. He might as well throw in the towel now. How could he prove to Jimin and Taehyung that Rented Hearts was not the answer to his single lifestyle when there you were - living proof of how much help he needed when it came to the nebulous mysteries of dating?
Of course, he had stubbornly stumbled through the date, stilted and awkward for every second of the experience. You had given him your hand to shake, told him your name, and asked why he needed to rent a girlfriend. He had proceeded to word vomit in answer: “I, uh, don’t really need to rent a girlfriend. I was peer pressured into it by my friends – kinda – because I’m terrible at talking to women, because I get all awkward, and start panicking, and when I panic I ramble, and oh god, I’m doing that now. Please shut me up!”
You had laughed his words, a sweet noise that melted Jungkook’s heart down to a sloppy puddle, sloshing around his rib cage. “Well, it’s nice to meet you Jungkook,” you had smiled, “I must say it’s a pretty unconventional reason to rent a girlfriend.”
Jungkook had chuckled awkwardly in response – a cross between a giggle and a snort. Then he led you into the restaurant. Things only got worse from there.
When you had entered the restaurant, the waiter had explained that all the tables were fully booked, and you’d have to wait before you could be seated. Then, when you finally got your table, Jungkook had knocked over his glass of water, spilling it over your dress. And just to top things off, once you left the restaurant, there weren’t any taxis available to take you home. That’s why Jungkook now finds himself walking you home in silence after what may have been the worst date ever – rented or not.
“So, was I your worst client?” Jungkook asks, kicking at a stone on the pavement.
You shrug. The sun is setting behind the apartment blocks lining the street, and with it, the summer warmth is seeping away. You shiver slightly, wrapping your arms around your body to trap in as much heat as possible, “I’ve had worse.”
Jungkook glances at you, and noticing that you look cold, offers you his jacket. You accept it with a smile. “I really struggle to believe that,” he says.
“Well, when you’re literally paid to go on dates you see a lot of shit,” you laugh, pulling Jungkook’s jacket around you. The sleeves are far too long; your hands are swallowed up by the cuffs. “Compared to other dates I’ve been on, yours was probably a seven out of ten.”
“Huh...” Jungkook shakes his head, “I was not expecting you to be so generous.”
You push the sleeves of his jacket up, glancing over at him, “Well, you did give this to me when I was cold, so you get points for that. And you paid for my meal, which is good as well. Not to mention your restaurant choice was top-tier, even if it was very crowded.”
“Yeah, but I was a total dork all night,” Jungkook grimaces.
“Well, yeah,” you chuckle, “But at least you’ve got the looks, even if you don’t have the personality to match.”
“Ouch, your words cut deep,” Jungkook raises a hand to his chest, pretending his heart has been gravely wounded.
“Seriously,” you say, “When I first saw you, I thought, ‘How on Earth has a guy this handsome not got a girlfriend yet?’ And then you opened your mouth, and started talking, and I was like, ‘Oh. I see.’”
“Hey,” Jungkook points a finger at you, “You’re still being paid to be with me. You could at least be nice.”
You smile sweetly at him, “Sorry, Jungkook, I’m just being honest. What would you rather I say?” You bat your eyelashes at him.
“I don’t know,” Jungkook sticks his hands in his pockets. You turn the corner, ambling down a street lined with cherry blossom trees on one side, pretty red-brick houses on the other. “You could tell me that I’m incredibly charming. Help a guy out, and boost my self-esteem or something,” Jungkook mumbles.
Giggling, you put on a high-pitched, cutesy voice as you say, “Oh, Jungkook, you’re so incredibly charming. So handsome, so dapper, so suave. I may just swoon on the spot.” Returning to your regular voice you say, “Was that better?”
At your teasing, Jungkook shoots back with some teasing of his own, “Do you take constructive criticism?”
“I only take cash,” you stick your tongue out at him.
Jungkook sighs, “Of course.”
You let out a laugh, sweet and melodic in Jungkook’s ears. Walking closer to Jungkook, you bump your arm against his, affectionate, “Really though, I enjoyed our date, all things considered.”
“For real?” Jungkook’s eyes are wide as he searches your face for any mirth.
You’re totally serious as you reply. “Yeah. You’re just my type.”
“You’re type is, what? Awkward dork?”
“Something like that...” You pause by one of the houses on the street, “Well. This is me.”
“Ah, right,” Jungkook stops beside you, “I suppose this is goodbye then. Thanks for tonight. I enjoyed myself, despite all the hiccups.”
“Well, I’m glad to hear it was a pleasant experience for you.”
Jungkook nods, “Yep. I mean, at least I got some practice talking to girls as pretty as you. So now I won’t be as embarrassing in the future… hopefully...”
You smile to yourself as you turn to walk up the steps to your house. You pause with your hand at the doorknob, and turn back to Jungkook. “Hey, if you ever need more practice talking to pretty girls, feel free to call me. I’ll even let you take me out free of charge.”
“What, so like, a proper date?” Jungkook almost chokes on his words.
“Sure, a proper date,” you smile, “Maybe next time you can even make it a ten out of ten?”
With that, you enter your house, and Jungkook’s left grinning at the door.
It’s only a few seconds later, a wide smile still stretching his cheeks, that Jungkook remembers that you still have his jacket. He shrugs. He doesn’t even care. He’ll see you again soon.

“Your handwriting is so small”, Jungkook squinted his eyes as he brought his head down towards your binder, “I think I need a magnifying glass to make out the words.”
You sigh, “Do you want my notes or not?”
“I’m just saying”, Jungkook teased with that annoying smile of his despite the deadly glares you’re throwing at him.
“Then i guess you don’t need it” you grabbed your binder away from him but curse Jungkook’s fast reflexes because next thing you know, Jungkook had your binder behind his back but bad for him, you’re not in the mood to play his silly games, “Jungkook”, you warned.
“Alright but i do need your notes so i could photocopy it”
“As if you’re actually going to read it” you scoffed as you went back to read your textbook.
Jungkook smiled, ignoring your statement as he stood up from his seat to walk around the table, sitting himself down to the seat next to yours so he could wrap his arm around your shoulders to squeeze you into his side.
“I’ll be back real quick, don’t want you to wait too long”
“Go away” you made a face as you shrugged his arms off of you, making Jungkook chuckle.
You look away from your textbook for a moment just so you could take a glance at Jungkook who’s currently walking himself out of the cafe and once you’re sure that he’s out of sight, you squeezed your eyes shut as you let your head fall on top of your textbook, groaning to yourself.
You hate Jeon Jungkook.
It was during the first day of the semester when you first met Jungkook. The whole class went silent as he entered the room, meekly apologizing for being late but you were too busy writing down your notes to take a look at who it was.
“Do you mind if i sit here?” you looked up from your notes and you could now understand why the room fell silent.
Jungkook is fairly attractive and you won’t deny that you’ve been swooned by those good looks of his as you immediately nodded your head, allowing him to take the seat next to yours but looking back now, you wished you didn’t say yes if you only knew how troublesome he was going to be.
As the semester went on, you’ve come to learn to look past his looks and make him out to be the annoying seatmate that constantly chats you up in between lectures and an airhead that kicks your chair to beg you for answers during exams.
You hate Jeon Jungkook.
Sighing, you leaned back on your chair as you thought of how stupid and pointless it is to repeat those words in your head because for all you know, Jungkook is the one responsible for putting those unwanted butterflies on your stomach you've been getting for a while now.
“Miss me?”
“No”, you firmly said.
“I got you this” Jungkook placed down a plate of cinnamon swirl right beside your textbook but you just pushed it back across him as you tried to act uninterested.
“Thanks but I already ate”
“Iced Americano isn’t a meal”
You eyed him suspiciously, “Don’t act like you actually care for me.”
“And if i do?”
You blinked at him as you try to decipher if he’s just shitting with you or if he does actually care about you but this is Jungkook you’re talking about, so it has to be the former, right?
“I know you’re just sucking up to me because the finals are next week” you stated as a matter of fact.
“I’ve been studying” Jungkook defended himself.
“What do you know about studying, Jungkook?”
“Ooh that’s harsh”, Jungkook clutched his shirt right above his chest where his heart resides as he feigned a pain expression, “Why do you think I always come here in this cafe?”
Well, that’s one thing you’re curious to know because ever since Jungkook coincidentally spotted you here and invited himself over your table three months ago, you know you’re done for. Specially, when he made it a habit to come here often and eventually made himself as your study partner that you did not ask for.
“I don’t know? So you could possibly annoy me even more?”
“You make studying more bearable.”
You snorted at his cheesy reply, “Yeah, it’s thanks to my notes, right?”
For a smart girl like you, Jungkook thinks you’re quite dense when it comes to things like this or were you just purposefully trying to reject his advances? It’s not like he could blame you, he’s totally aware that he incorporated a bad impression on you.
“Look, why don’t you try to eat just a little bit? I’m not trying to insult you or anything but you seem tired”, Jungkook said with pure concern written on his face.
“Fine then, if it’ll get you to shut up”, you cut yourself a big piece as you shoved it into your mouth until you were able to catch on the last part of his sentence, growing conscious all of a sudden, “I haven’t slept in 3 days. Is it that obvious?”, you whispered as you observed your appearance from your front camera.
“Well, that explains why you’re grumpier than usual”
You don’t look too menacing when you’re glaring at him with your cheeks full, making Jungkook smile at how silly and adorable you look but he was quick to purse his lips as he went on to do a motion of zipping his mouth, choosing to play it safe with you.
With Jungkook silent, you were able to read your textbook in peace but you find yourself glancing at Jungkook from time to time and you’ve never seen him this serious about his studies until now. Jungkook had his brows furrowed in concentration as he reads your photocopied notes whilst having the end of his pen stuck in between his teeth to chew.
You were unaware that Jungkook caught you looking at him until a sly smile appeared on his face, prompting you to look away as you shove another piece of cinnamon into your mouth to mask your embarrassment.
“I’ve been meaning to ask but what do these colors mean?” Jungkook referred to your color-coded notes.
“Why’d you ask? You don’t seem to be bothered by it before” you said with your mouth full as you try not to make eye contact with him.
“I told you, I’ve been studying”, Jungkook said, “But i mainly just want to know more about you.”
You choked on your cinnamon as soon as you heard those words and you think you’ll be dead in no time if Jungkook persists to act like this towards you. Nonetheless, you kept your composure as you took a sip of your Iced Americano before explaining to him what every color in your notes signifies.
“Red can be easily spotted among the other colors so i used it for terminologies since they’re very important, Blue is for the key words, Yellow is for the classification, and Green is for enumerations. Now, can you go back to being quiet?”
Jungkook momentarily kept his eyes on you with a smile on his face before he went back to read and you’re just grateful he never mentioned the part where he caught you looking at him. Instead, he did as told to remain silent but it was not for long until he called your attention once more.
“I have a question”
“I’m sure you could just search it up on the internet” you dismissed him as you’re too busy highlighting down your notes.
“No, you’re the only one who has the answer to this”
“I told you-”, you were cut off when Jungkook suddenly grabbed your hand to have you draw a red colored crooked line down his palm, “Why did you do that?”
“Am I important now for you to listen?” Jungkook raised his brows as he waited for you to speak.
You sigh at his wit, “What is it?”
Jungkook’s hand flew right back to his nape as he fidgeted with his hair whilst he tried to look elsewhere but you. From his actions alone, you could tell that he was acting nervous and shy though you’d like to know why his cheeks are getting redder by the second.
“I like you”, Jungkook blurted out, catching you off guard at his sudden confession, more so when he removed the red marker from your hand so he could replace it instead with his hand.
You could feel your heart hammering so loud and you were scared that Jungkook might be able to notice your quickening pulse through your wrist thus you tried to shake his hand away from yours but that just prompted him to squeeze your hand tighter.
“T-That’s not a question”, you stammered.
“Then will you go out with me?”
You roll your eyes as you try to bite back a smile, “Shut up.”

Looking back on it, maybe fake dating your best friend as a way to get people to stop pressuring you two to date was a bad idea. Because here you are, 3 weeks into the plot and you’re pretty sure you’ve caught real feelings for Yoongi. Tonight was the icing on the cake because during a game of truth or dare, you were dared to kiss your fake boyfriend in front of everyone. The second his lips were pressed against yours, you knew you were a goner and you didn’t know what to do.
The rest of the game went on and there was a weird tension between you and Yoongi. Neither of you had done anything further than maybe kisses on the cheeks or hugs, considering you two already did that before you started to fake date. But neither of you said a word to each other the remainder of the game, not even when the party was over and you both were sitting in silence in the car as Yoongi drove you home.
When he pulled up to your apartment complex, you didn’t make any move to leave the car. You simply stared down on your lap, fiddling with your fingers. You could tell Yoongi wasn’t looking at you, you know what his staring felt like. But you couldn’t tell if you were hurt or relieved by it.
“So. . .” You said.
“So. . .” Yoongi repeated. “Do you. . . want to talk about it?”
“Do you?” You finally turned to look at him; he was still facing forward, staring out the windshield.
He inhaled deeply, his grip tightening on the steering wheel. “I-I don’t think I can do this anymore.”
You could feel your heart begin to break at his sentence. “Do what? Do you want to stop. . . this or do you want to stop being friends?”
“No, no, definitely not that.” He clarified as he finally turned to look at you. “I know we didn’t exactly talk much about what to do if either of us caught feelings-”
“What?”
“Before you say anything, please, just-just here me out-”
Your mind couldn’t even catch up with your body because before you knew it, you surged forward. Your arms wrapped your arms around his neck as your lips pressed against his. Yoongi was frozen in shock for a moment, before his lips began to move in tandem with yours. You could kiss Yoongi for forever, but your lungs burning in your chest were a reminder that you needed air.
You pulled away slowly, reality hitting you like a truck. You just kissed your best friend, and not on a dare but an actual kiss. That you both wanted. The air was thick with silence as you both came to terms with what just happened again. His breath fanning across your lips brought you back to Earth, meeting his eyes.
“Do that again.”

pt 6 of @btsghostiewritersnet drabble marathon. prompt used: type of love theme
Tumblr media
“I’m sorry. It looks like I have to break my promise to you.”
“You’ve broken many, Joon,” you tease, flipping to the next page of the book you’re reading. “Which promise are you referring to this time?”
“About marrying you.”
Your finger pauses mid sentence on the line you’re reading. You’ve practiced feigning nonchalance for this moment, but nothing could have prepared you for that.
“Oh. You were serious about that?”
Was that convincing? Does he hear the way your voice wavers? Can he hear your already shattered heart crushing itself into fine powder?
He doesn’t notice, of course. Too caught up in his head to notice you these days.
“I’m thinking about proposing to her soon.”
It takes all the perfectly practiced poise instilled into your very bones not to lift your head up from where you sit and scream. Maybe you should finally thank your mother for forcing you to take all those etiquette classes. It’s thanks to them that your voice comes out evenly when you congratulate him.
“I’m surprised you didn’t drop to your knees the second you found her.”
He chokes at your statement. It's at this time you drop your teachings and laugh unabashedly at him. After all, what’s a best friend for if not to laugh at each other? He glares at you while he massages his chest, coughing until his airways clear up.
"I wanted to, you know, but I wanted to get to know her better before I did. Marriage is a big deal, after all."
Don’t you know it.
You cast a glance at Namjoon, watch the way he can't seem to keep his eyes off the ring in his hands. Once upon a time, before this woman appeared out of thin air and swept your best friend off his feet, you were promised to him. It was never officially declared, but it was always implied. Heavily implied. Even by him. For as long as you’ve known him, he’d never expressed romantic interest in other people.
"They just don't captivate me. Everyone’s in it for the wealth. None of them have ever tried to get to know me for me," he'd told you once.
Then in she came like a whirlwind and pulled him away from your side—a place where he’s always been. You don't know if it's better this way. For him to fall in love with someone you don't know.
“So this is love, huh?” he murmurs with a lovesick look in his eyes. “Who knew it could feel so amazing?”
After putting the ring back in the safety of its box, he sets it down and searches for your hand hidden underneath the book you’re reading. The press of his fingertips sends jolts straight to your heart and you can do nothing but watch with bated breath when he takes your hand in his.
“I can't wait for you to feel this too. Loving someone like this."
It’s like a punch in the gut and you pray a single blink will absorb the wetness that fills your eyes. He’s so close to you. He’s sitting right there and yet he’s never been farther away.
“What’s it feel like?”
“Like a miracle. I feel like I can fly. Like I have the keys to heaven.”
He’s glowing. For every word that comes out of his mouth, spinning poetry about his love for her, he glows. Was he ever this radiant when he talked about you? Did you ever stand a chance?
“That sounds wonderful, Joon. I’m really happy she makes you feel that way.”
“Do you think she feels the same?”
Ah, the other duties of a best friend. Reassurance. Encouragement. You can do this. It doesn’t take much to smile for him. You know she’s as smitten with him as he is with her. If you’re to be beaten out of the race, at least you know it’s by a worthy opponent.
“She does. Trust me.”
He lets out a sigh of relief and picks up the ring box again.
"Thank you, princess. For everything you've done for me. I don't think I'd have found her if not for you."
It shouldn't sting as much as it does. That he no longer addresses you as "my princess." The possessive "my" no longer affiliated with you.
"Don't mention it. You know I'd do anything for you."
"And I, you. Promise me you'll come to me should you ever want for anything. You know I'll make it happen."
You plaster on a smile and simply nod along. How could you tell him that the only thing you've ever wanted was his heart? That you already know what love is. That once upon a time, you, too, knew what it was like to fly, high on love. That now, love tastes bitter on your tongue.
“Of course, Joon. I’m happy for you! You deserve happiness.”
"I was happy even when it was just you and me, princess.”
It’s not fair. The way he can say that so easily, so unaware of how your traitorous heart beats amidst the turmoil warring within you.
"You know what I meant."
You push at his shoulder lightly. An excuse, really. This might be the last time you can touch him so freely. The last time he comes to you as a single man.
“Thanks, princess. I’m so blessed to have you as my best friend. I love you.”
“I love you, too. Now go get your girl.”
He brightens considerably and with a kiss to your knuckles, he dashes out of the library in search of his beloved. Meanwhile, the tears you’ve fought against so determinedly finally fall. You pray that he hasn’t forgotten something and doesn’t come running back in. You wouldn’t have the strength to explain to him how quickly your smile drops, how you wipe your hand against the cloth of your skirt, desperate to erase his touch from your skin.
Tears land scattered on the pages of your book and you know it’ll leave the pages wrinkled and discolored, but you don’t care. For now, you just want some peace and if that means the evidence of your love forever embedded in this book in order for you to feel some release, then so be it.

Tumblr media
It’s a bad idea. You know that. He knows that. Everyone knows that.
But you can’t seem to get your hands off him as he leads you into his hotel room, crowding your personal space so eagerly once the door is locked and secured. He beckons you to wrap your legs around his waist while his strong arms hold you close.
A few minutes ago, a sleazy man kept on hitting on you in the bar until Jungkook intervened. Rage swam inside his chocolate eyes as his gaze zeroed in the man’s arm slung around you. You had stared at him, mouth agape at the sight of him. Jungkook grabbed the man’s arm off of you, twisting it painfully until the man begged for forgiveness. You snapped back into reality and were quick to calm him before it escalated further.
After months of not seeing each other, the memories of you two came flooding through your mind like a movie. You had cut him out of your life for the sake of your lives and the people around you since you came from a family of reputable lawyers while he belongs to Seoul’s infamous mafia.
In other words, you both should not even come across each other—knowing how easy it is to spark rumours should you find yourself in each others’ presence. However, like a cruel twist of fate, you and Jungkook gravitate towards each other.
At first, it was an accidental meeting—you were on a case to bring him into prison. Your client claimed that Jungkook’s organisation colluded with another to bring down your client’s business.
You recall the smug look on Jungkook’s face when there wasn’t any evidence as his side claimed it was only a lie. Refusing to admit defeat, you scoured through everything—files, information, people—to find evidence.
But there’s nothing.
Begrudgingly, you concluded that your client was lying, and Jungkook’s organisation had done nothing wrong (at least, in the documents). So you never expect to see him again after the case. But then Jungkook frequented the café near your firm where you like to pick up your coffee.
Reluctant pleasantries turned into long conversations, and long conversations turned into intentional meetings when he offered to help you on a case you were working on a month later. And he has proven himself useful, allowing you to find all necessary evidence.
Long story short, the line between work and personal life blurred, and now here you are in a heated make-out session. Even when you’ve turned him away many times—knowing that this relationship will do no good to anyone—he’d always manage to break down the fort you’ve built around your heart.
You sigh against his lips, arms wrapped around his neck as he strides to his king-sized bed, laying you down gently. He kisses you fervently, hands hiking up your wine-coloured dress to your hips. You pull away for a moment, fumbling with the zipper on the side of your dress before taking it off.
Jungkook groans at the sight of your lace undergarments. His thumb traces circles on the skin of your inner thigh as he murmurs into your ear, “You said you never wanted to see me again.” Then he kisses your neck, stopping to bite gently on your sensitive spot he knows so well. “But here you are, in my turf—” He trails downward, kissing the top of your breasts. “—looking gorgeous as hell, and you expect me to stay away?”
Your breath hitches when he presses his hips against your core, showing you exactly what he’s feeling. “Kiss me?” You stare up at him, hands toying with the collar of his half-opened shirt. “Please?”
And, of course, he’s a weak man when it comes to you. So, he complies, leaning down to capture your lips with his. Your fingers move to unbutton the rest of his black dress shirt, removing it, to admire his chest fully before trailing down to unbuckle his belt.
“Eager aren’t we?” he chuckles, kicking off his pants. You’re about to remove his boxers when he grabs your hand, pinning them above your head with one hand. “Not yet.”
You bite back a whine as he places his knee between your thighs. Meanwhile, his other hand unclasps your bra with practised ease, then trailing up your stomach to cup your breast, flicking a hardened bud. He leans down, catching the other with his mouth and your back to arch instinctively.
“J-Jungkook, please,” you moan, breath growing ragged as he continues his action. “I need you.”
“My woman needs me?” He pulls away, watching you in amusement.
You nod, hips grinding not-so-subtly against his thick thigh wedged between your legs. “I need you. It’s been so long.”
“Okay,” Jungkook breathes out, releasing his hold on you to tug off your bra and panties. “You’re so beautiful, princess. It drives me crazy to think that someone else had seen you like this.” He shakes his head. “I even had to hold myself back from breaking that shithead’s arm for touching you. I just—”
“No,” you cup his face to meet his gaze. “There hasn’t been anyone since you. Even during the past three months.”
Jungkook blinks at your words, lips quivering. “I’ve missed you.”
At the raw emotion that swims inside his eyes, you can no longer ignore the heaviness blooming in your chest, knowing full well that he might not regard you so lovingly after—
You shake your head. “Then make love to me, Jungkook. I’m yours.”
Something snaps within him as soon as those words escape your lips. “Fuck, I’m yours too, Y/N. My heart—it’s yours.” He discards the last of his clothing. “Let me show you how much you mean to me. I’ve been waiting for far too long.”
The night continues as he ensures that you’ve gotten your first high with his mouth. Then Jungkook slides into your weeping entrance, and you both simultaneously groan, relishing on the feeling of each other after so long.
“I missed this,” he sighs into your skin. “Fucking hell, I’ve missed you so much.”
You can only respond by clutching onto him tighter, whimpers spilling out of you. Your nails rake down his defined back as he thrusts into you rhythmically, savouring the feeling of being filled to the brim. Each time your hips meet his, it brings you closer to your high.
“Shit, I’m close,” Jungkook manages to say, moving faster until the impending wave of orgasm washes over you. He groans as you clench tighter around him. Then he finally reaches his high with your name dripping from his lips. The sound of your heavy breathing fills the room for a few moments before Jungkook places a brief kiss on the juncture where your neck meets your shoulder and rolls over to lay on his back.
Silence lapse between you both until he breaks it. “I really missed you, you know. You have no idea how hard it is not to be able to see you every day.” His voice grows quieter as he turns on his side to face you. “And when you said you don’t want to see me anymore, I—” He swallows a lump down his throat. “I just don’t want you to hate me.”
“I… I don’t hate you, Jungkook.” You say softly, reaching out to weave your fingers through his damp hair. “I can never hate you.”
“T-Then why? Why did you stop this—what we have?”
“I had no choice, Kook...”
Jungkook frowns, sensing something is wrong. “Y/N... What happened?”
“I had to see you.” Your lips quiver, eyes turn glassy. “I need to see you.”
“Hey, I’m here,” he gathers you in his arms. “Sweetheart, I’m right here. I’m not going anywhere.”
“But I am.”
Jungkook stiffens, pulling away slightly to look you in the eye.
“I’m leaving Korea tomorrow.”

→ summary: there are only two weeks left until graduation—which means you only have two weeks left until you’ll be nothing more than a facebook birthday notification on his phone (unless you do something about it, of course.) → genre: high school!au, humor, slight angst → warnings: none unless you’re terrified of two idiots mutually pining for e/o → words: 1.2K → a/n: ain’t it kinda weird that there were some people you met in high school that you considered your “friend” but never kept in touch with them after graduation? like ships that have sailed past each other, only being left with some hope of crossing someday. idk, high school was weird. anyway, enjoy!
—part of the bgw drabble marathon (Tropes #5)—
Tumblr media
“So, have you asked anyone out to the graduation ball yet?” Hoseok asks you suddenly, his words muffled by the disgusting amount of pasta in his mouth.
From the corner of your eye, Jungkook’s shoulders tense. You don’t mean to notice—you weren’t even supposed to be looking at him. He has his gaze trained downwards, shooting lasers at his rice with enough intensity to cook it twice over.
“No, I haven’t,” you respond eventually.
“Time is running out you know! It wouldn’t look good if the class valedictorian arrived at the party without some good ol’ eye candy,” Hoseok says.
You scoff, taking a sip of your lukewarm apple juice. “Who says I need a man to make me look good?”
“Or woman, for that matter!” Chaeyoung pipes up. She wiggles her eyebrows, leaning across the lunch table until her chest almost gets a platter full of greasy cafeteria pizza. “You know, the offer is still open. I guarantee that if we went together, we’d be the prettiest bitches in the entire ballroom!”
You laugh, shaking your head. “You’re right, we would be… minus the fact that you’ve been pining over Eunbi for God knows how long, and it would be seriously shitty of me to deny you your last chance of getting together with her.”
Chaeyoung leans back, acquiesced. “Alright, you got me there,” she sighs, crossing her arms. “Still, you know I would drop everything and anything if you asked.”
“Not me though, I’m a selfish whore,” Jimin interrupts, reaching his minimum quota of giving his unsolicited opinion. He points finger guns at you. “I’m bringing my hot and sexy college boyfriend to the ball.”
“Oh right, how could we ever forget your mysterious ‘college’ boyfriend,” Hoseok scoffs, the quotation marks audible in his voice. “The one that we’ve never seen or heard of before, and also conveniently lives in a different city that is miles from here? That boyfriend?”
“Shut up!” Jimin glares, pointing his sharpened acrylic nail at him. “You’ll eat your words once you see how fucking gorgeous and hot and REAL my boyfriend is!” He turns to you, brows still quirked in irritation. “Anyway, as I was saying. Even though I’m going to the ball with my snookywookums, I’m willing to scout a date for you if you want.”
“I don’t think snookywookums is a Scrabble-verified word,” Hoseok says under his breath, nearly causing you to snort your pasta up your nose.
“T-Thank you, Jimin,” you say, coughing through your laughter. Lucky for Hoseok, Jimin’s massive ego doubles as a noise-cancelling material. “But I’m fine, really. I’m more than happy just hanging out with my best friends over some random guy.”
“Aww, that’s so sweet!” Chaeyoung coos, pinching your cheeks.
“–and also improbable,” Hoseok snorts. “These two whores are definitely gonna spend that entire night fucking their dates,” Hoseok says, jabbing his thumb at your resident bimbo-himbo combo, “while I will be busy with DJ-ing at the event, so you’re pretty much outta luck, chief.”
“What the fuck? You’re gonna DJ at our fucking graduation ball?” you squawk. “Why the hell would you volunteer to do that?”
“For… experience?”
“Really.”
Hoseok raises his hands in surrender with a pout. “Okay, fine. Maybe I wanted to impress Namjoon. Fucking sue me for being a hypocrite!”
“Ahah! The ogre has fallen in love with the prince!” Jimin hollers, earning himself a pinch in the tit from Hoseok.
You huff, annoyed. “Am I really being abandoned by all my friends? On one of our final days together as classmates before we inevitably part ways towards adulthood?”
A beat of guilty silence. Then:
“Yep!
“Totally!”
“You guys suck!”
You groan in defeat, rolling your eyes. “Fine then! I guess Jungkook and I will have to entertain each other, right Kook?”
The boy in question, who had been eerily quiet this entire lunch period, jolts in his seat after suddenly being addressed. His elbow hits the table with a bang, causing an impressive string of expletives to spill from his mouth.
Jimin snorts, amused. “Damn, you good? What’s got loverboy all jumpy?”
“Don’t call me loverboy,” Jungkook says through gritted teeth, his jaw clenched as he cradles his injured elbow.
“Well someone clearly pissed in your Cheerios. What’s up? Why are you being all broody and sulky?” Hoseok asks.
“I’m not being broody,” Jungkook says broodily. For a brief moment, your gaze catches his, but he quickly averts his eyes before you can get a good glimpse at the unknown emotion that tints them. “I just… got a bad grade in Chemistry. That’s all.”
“First time? I guess senioritis doesn’t hit all of us the same,” Jimin sniffs. “By the way, Kook. Do you have a date for the ball? If you do, then we can all shame Y/N into looking for a date and not feel guilty about it.”
“Hey!” you whine, but your attention is focused on Jungkook. You hold your breath, a looming sense of dread rising up your stomach like bile. A desperate plea rings through your head, crying out, “Please say you’ll go with me.”
As friends, you remind yourself.
Sure Jan, your inner voice replies.
Jungkook barks out a laugh, but it sounds hollow. “I, umm…” he trails off, fidgeting in his seat awkwardly. He puts down his chopsticks, wiping his clammy hands on his jeans. “I’m still, uh, working up the courage to ask her…”
“HER?! YOU LIKE GIRLS?” Chaeyoung screams, horrified. “Then why the FUCK have you been rejecting all those poor girls for the past four years?”
“I just wasn’t interested, I guess,” he shrugs. He pauses. “Wait, did you not know I was straight?”
“Kookie, I don’t know if you haven’t noticed, but you recoil like a raccoon being spritzed with water every time a woman so much as looks at you,” Hoseok points out.
“I’m just shy,” he grumbles.
To your left, Jimin nudges you gently. “Did you know?” he whispers, brows arched.
“Of course I did,” you snap. “That boy uses five-in-one shampoo and soap.”
Jimin leans back into his seat, a mystified expression on his face. “Damn, you’re right. And here I thought you just liked pining over him because you were a masochist.”
You choke on your own spit, feeling as though a large stone has just been dropped on your esophagus. You whirl towards Jimin with a death glare, but the shithead barely flinches in response. “What the fuck did you just say?” you seethe, panic clear in your voice.
“What did you say?” Jungkook repeats after you, jaw agape. You both make eye contact, and you notice the way Jungkook’s cheeks have flushed a deep red. You have no doubt in your mind that you aren’t faring any better. Shit!
“Now, we don’t have time to unpack all of that,” Hoseok interrupts. He gestures to the clock by the wall, which shows that your lunch period is about to end. He slams his lunch container shut, a large smirk on his face. “But this will definitely be a fun conversation for later, and I want front row seats.”
“Ditto! Text me once you’re out of your last class, okay?” Chaeyoung says, standing up with Hoseok. She blows a kiss your way and pats Jungkook endearingly on the head. “You guys have English together, right? Should be fun!”
“Gotta blast,” Jimin says, scrambling out of his seat before you can snap out of your daze long enough to twist his balls into a ponytail. He throws a mock salute at you, toothy grin on full display. “Have fun!”
Now left alone (i.e. abandoned) by your friends, you tentatively turn to look at Jungkook. You swallow thickly, cheeks flamin’ hot. “So, by the way…. About that date?”

Title: Official
Pairing:  Namjoon x reader
Rating: 18+, smut, fluff
Genre: secret dating au
Word count: 1,467
Summary:  You can only hide your new relationship from your friends for so long.
Warnings: oral (m. receiving) + a ruined shirt RIP
A/N: This lil smutty piece was written for the ghostie drabble marathon. Song lyrics:  “Because all of this is not coincidence.” (DNA). Inspired by @jinpanman  ‘s post about "Namjoon fixing his zipper in the middle of the performance”. Also, by law, tagging @sahmfanficbts <3
Tumblr media
You grunt quietly as Namjoon presses you against the wall, mouth sealed tight against yours as he kisses you deeply between racks of clothing.
Hand pressing against his chest, you push his heaving body off yours.
“You have to go on in like,” you look down to check you watch, “15 minutes.”
“Mmm, that’s ok, plenty of time,” comes his low rasp as he continues to lick into your mouth, grinding his hips into yours.
You let him kiss you languidly for another minute, basking in the pre-show privacy. No hiding from curious friends or judgemental peers. Just you and Namjoon for these precious, fleeting moments.
Namjoon had begrudgingly agreed to keeping your relationship private upon your request. What had started as a drunken hookup months ago had evolved into under-the-table hand holding, sneaky kisses, falling asleep on nightly phone calls.
“Ah, Joon, you- they’re gonna come lookin for you,” you pull back, panting and trying to reason with him.
Instead of replying, he ducks his head burying face first into your neck where he suckles at the soft skin he adores so much.
Whimpering, you claw your fingertips up and down his sides, feeling the silky material of his top. You pull his shirt free from his pants and send your hands underneath to feel his bare skin.
“Fuck,” you whine. “No marks, Joon” you gasp, feeling the sudden increase in suction against your pulse point, losing himself to the taste of your skin.
You feel the rumble of displeasure in his chest as he yields to your command.
He knew you were exclusively dating him, but when no one else was privy to that information, it almost seemed negligible. He was tired of biting back his frustrations when your mutual friends would try to set you up on dates. (Not that you would ever agree to any.) He was tired of pretending the two of you weren’t more. He was ready for the world to know about your relationship, but he knew you were still hesitant.
Namjoon detaches his warm lips from your neck to peck lovingly at your forehead.
Pressed against the length of him, you feel the evidence of his excitement prodding against your abdomen.
“And how exactly do you plan to hide that?” you giggle, cocking an amused brow at him.
He brushes your hair aside and lets his large hand rest against your throat. Possessive, yet gentle.
“Mmm, it’ll go down,” he mumbles as he reattaches his lips to yours.
Kissing across his mouth and planting a few along his jaw, you make your way to his ear.
“Or I could help you,” you whisper seductively, cupping his clothed erection.
You smirk when you feel Namjoon shiver at your gentle fondling. His body is like a live wire, crackling and exposed at your electric touch.
“Oh shit, I- I can’t return the favor though,” he pants.
“Take care of me after the show,” you purr, hands unbuckling his belt and reaching for the zipper. “You want this?” you ask one last time to which he nods vigorously.
Impatient, he pushes your hands away to free himself from the confines of his pants.
You wrap an eager hand around his length and swirl a thumb around his flushed tip. You gather the moisture there and spread it in slow circles around the rim of the head making Namjoon groan deep in his chest.
You spit generously into your hand to avoid chafing him.
Skin smooth and soft, you pump him quickly to jerk him to his full potential.
Thunk. Namjoon’s head falls back against the wall, eyes closed in bliss, as you tighten your grip around him.
“Eyes on me, big boy” you whisper, sinking down to your knees for your man.
His gaze follows you all the way down until you settle comfortably between his parted thighs.
Your hand continues jerking his cock as you pepper open mouthed kisses to his groin and lower stomach. Your otherwise unoccupied hand pins his hips against the wall.
“Love these,” you muse.
Caressing the supple skin of his powerful thighs, you feel him throb wantonly in your hand.
You sink your teeth into the muscle. All pressure, no pain.
There’s a garbled groan from above you.
“Baby, please,” Namjoon pants, “We don’t have much time”
You inspect his cock as it pulses in your grasp. “Oh, I think you’re only gonna need a few minutes,” you cackle.
An endearing flush spreads across his cheeks, dimples flashing as he chuckles along goodnaturedly. “Well, my girlfriend is very hot,” he argues.
You gulp, trying not to go rigid while holding his length in your hand. Neither of you had explicitly labeled your relationship, opting to silently agree that you were exclusively seeing each other.
Rather than stutter out a response, you stuff his cock deep into the wet heat of your mouth, wrapping your lips around him the way he likes.
Namjoon’s hands immediately push your hair back and hold it in a makeshift ponytail as you sink down his length. He’s not about to miss the visual of you blowing him.
Holding him by the base, you bob up and down, gagging lightly as he slides down the back of your throat. You try to relax, inviting him into the depths of your mouth and coating him in a sheen of saliva.
“Fuck,” he moans, feeling you increase the suction around his shaft.
Your hand begins pumping what won’t fit in your mouth, suckling around the crown and urging him towards his climax.
“Baby, look at me, eyes up” he pants over you, unraveling quickly with your enthusiastic servicing of his cock.
You lift your heady gaze up to meet his desperate eyes. Brows pinched with his lower lip held hostage between his teeth. He’s so close.
Your mouth focuses on his sensitive tip, hand furiously working his shaft. His legs quake with his impending release.
With an obscene groan, Namjoon cums, erupting in your mouth. You continue to suckle at him, hand slowing down but pumping leisurely to help him ride out his high.
You do your best to hold his load without immediately swallowing the unsavory fluid.
“You know what I wanna see,” he whines, encouraging you to open wide.
Namjoon moans in appreciation, seeing his seed fill your mouth as you swipe your tongue through his cum to lick at your lips. You swallow most of it and let the rest dribble down your chin and onto your chest.
Knock, knock, knock.
“Namjoon-ah! Are you still changing?” comes the tinkling of Jin’s voice.
Fuck.
You urgently flip through the rack of Namjoon’s clothing to find something to clean up with. Pulling a semi-plain shirt from its hanger, you wipe down his wilting cock and leave him to tuck himself back into his briefs as he pulls up his pants.
Cleaning off your mouth and chin and the residual cum off your chest, you haphazardly replace the top on its hanger and try to shake feeling back into your feet.
You check your watch again. Six minutes to show time. You smirk.
“Break a leg, bubs” you smile up at him and push him toward the door with a parting good-luck-kiss.
Tumblr media
You watch happily from backstage as the group performs another stellar show. The crowd cheers when Namjoon makes a joke about his opened fly. Choreography and vocals all flow smoothly as the night unfolds, leading up to the final few songs.
The seven men pile into the dressing room for a final change for the encore when there’s a ghastly shriek.
“What the actual fuck,” Jin hollers.
Several pairs of eyes look over to Jin as he gingerly inspects an article of clothing.
Oh no.
No, no, no.
Jin looks from his soiled shirt, to you, and back down to the shirt he’s supposed to change into.
You had forgotten you had worn lipstick tonight. And it was smeared all over Jin’s top along with residual ejaculate and spit that had begun to flake as it dried.
Incriminating at best, evidence at worst.
“What’s your lipstick and whateverthefuckthisis doing on my shirt? Why was Namjoon’s zipper down all through the first half of the show? And why did Namjoon-ah get all pissy when I tried to set you up with Sejin-hyung last week?” he fires off suspiciously, eyes darting back and forth between the two of you.
The room falls dead silent and all you hear is the pounding of blood between your ears.
“Because all of this is not coincidence,” Jin continues, gesturing wildly.
“I'm with Namjoon,” you confess quietly.
The room erupts in hoots and hollers, I told you’s, and all you see is Namjoon beaming at your admission, happy to finally love you officially and publicly.

Summary: All you wanted was a quiet place to study. Instead, you’re initiated into a host club after breaking a vase worth thirty-one million won
Pairing: OT7 x female reader
Genre: Slice of life, school AU, humour
Prompt: Ouran Highschool Host Club inspired
Word count: 1.4k
AN: I’ve wanted to write an Ouran inspired fic for a while but I didn’t know what to do with it. So this was the perfect excuse to dabble with the idea.
Tumblr media
All you wanted was a quiet place to study. Which, considering the price people paid to attend this school, you would have thought that you would be swimming with choices. But apparently paying for an education eliminated any and all need for quiet study areas.
The library, the one place you thought you could count on, was currently home to the debate society who were not only loud but large enough that the three-story library no available tables. And even if you could find a spot, the space was open and all noise seemed to reverberate through the building with such efficiency that you could hear Lee Minho’s cackles from the ground floor.
So you made your way over to the abandoned music corridor. Or, at least, you thought it was abandoned. You had checked the after-school group list several times to make sure no one would be around and nowhere on the sheet did it say that Music room number three was occupied.
That was the only reason why you found yourself standing in front of the large ornate double doors that Tuesday afternoon. If you had known what was on the other side of the doors, you wouldn’t have entered the room with such confidence, letting the door bang against the wall as it swung open and revealed the seven most notorious faces around the school.
Seokjin was the only one with his back to you when you opened the door. He turned slowly and the sun seemed to follow his movements, casting a halo around his form. He smiled as his eyes met yours.
“Ah, I see we have a new visitor. Welcome to Bangtan Sonyeondan.” He stepped forward, his whole body oozing elegance as he stopped in front of you. He frowned as he brushed a strand of your short hair away from your face. “We don’t usually have a lot of guys pass through our doors, but we’re not one to turn away someone in need.”
You were often mistaken as a boy that you had somewhat grown used to it. You had cut your hair short before transferring schools. Not because you wanted short hair, exactly, but because you were tired of maintaining long hair. You had decided it would be much more practical to have short hair that only required a quick brush through in the morning so you could spend more time on your studies.
So hearing Seokjin refer to you as a male wasn’t what had you staring dumbly at them. It was the fact he was speaking directly to you in the first place.
In fact, as Seokjin took your hand and led you over to the rest of his group, your mind whirled to catch up with what was going on.
Seokjin placed his hand on your back and pushed you slightly towards the other guys, who eyed you with mild interest.
“Isn’t that YLN YN? The scholarship student?” Hoseok asked, turning to face Yoongi with a small pout on his face. Hoseok was a fourth-year student who was known for his love of all things cute. He was often found carrying a Kaws teddy with a giant smile on his face. The complete opposite to his best friend.
Yoongi nodded his head as he eyed you with the same lack of expression he was renowned for. The smaller man rarely spoke to anyone other than Hoseok, but half the female population were in love with him for his prowess on the piano.
“Isn’t he in our class?” Taehyung leaned towards Jimin, covering his mouth with his hand as if he were whispering but making no attempt to lower his voice. The pair kept to themselves, rarely engaging in any conversation with anyone except each other unless it was to make a joke. And even then, that had never happened in your time at the school.
Jimin stepped closer towards you, looking down at your clothing. As a scholarship student, you were awarded the benefit of not needing to wear a uniform. It had sounded wonderful when you started. You hated wearing skirts and you found the top button of your shirt always dug into your throat. So you opted to wear loose trousers and a nice baggy jumper to keep you warm. But then you had started and you realised what not wearing a uniform really meant. It was like a neon sign followed you everywhere, indicating that you weren’t even close to the wealth bracket these students came from. And thus, none had ever bothered to get to know you other than the courteous ‘hello’ when you were paired with them for assignments.
“I don’t recognise him…” Jimin trailed off as he got uncomfortably close to your face. You leant back in an attempt to keep some of your personal space.
Namjoon grabbed the back of Jimin’s uniform and pulled him back. “What have we said about invading people’s personal spaces.” Namjoon rolled his eyes as he let Jimin’s uniform go once he was a comfortable distance away from you.
Namjoon, you knew, was a third-year student along with Seokjin. Unlike Seokjin, he wasn’t known for his friendliness with the ladies. Sure, he was still well-loved by the female population of the school, but he was known as the calculating one. He made connections based on what his family needed.
“I’m sorry, I was just looking for a quiet place to study.” You took a step back, throwing your hands up to show that you meant no harm. All you wanted was to leave the room in one piece. Your back bumped into someone, making you jump. You whirled around only to come face to face with Jungkook
“I’m sorry about my hyungs, Yn.” Jungkook’s doe eyes looked at you sweetly, quietly begging you to stay. “They can be a little rude.”
He was the youngest of the group, only a first-year student. But just like the other students, he was well-loved. His family were known martial artists, most of whom belonged to the South Korean militia, but despite their fierce reputation he was known for being an absolute cutie-pie.
You could feel your resolve to high-tail it out of the room dissolve as you stared at him. It was the kind of face that was impossible to say no to.
“Oh, well I didn’t mean to intrude,” You stumbled out, blinking heavily in an attempt to clear your mind.
Seokjin slung his arm over your shoulder as he paid no mind to what you were saying. “Now we have to show our utmost respect, boys, to our lonely soul here. He needs guidance and has sought after our expertise.” You could almost see the stars in his eyes at the mere thought of being needed.
You jumped from his hold as you began to protest. “No, no! That’s not it at all. I’m good! Really!” you insisted no longer paying attention to your surroundings.
Which was probably why you backed straight into a display table hosting an expensive looking vase. One minute you were protesting help, the next you were scrambling after the falling vase in an attempt to catch it.
You never had a chance.
“Oh, Grandma donated that vase.” Taehyung pouted as he gazed forlornly down at the vase’s shattered remains.
“I’m so sorry, I’ll pay for it!” You insisted, reaching for the pocket in your bag with your purse.
“Wasnt that vase worth thirty-one million?” Jimin’s brow rose, barely containing his excitement at the destruction before him.
You blanched at the price. “Thirty-one million?” you repeated, hand freezing from where it held your purse in your bag.
“Oh, the poor dear will never be able to afford that!” Hoseok commented, looking over to Yoongi for confirmation. Yoongi swiftly nodded his head and Hoseok’s attention returned to you. “There must be some other way they can pay?” Hoseok turned towards Namjoon.
They all did. Which was when you knew you weren’t going to like what he said next.
“Hm, I suppose they could work as our lackey. If they worked the remainder of their time here, they should be able to clear their debt. So long as no other accidents occur, that is.” He sent you a pointed look before sighing as Jin waltzed straight back to you.
He spun you around as he sang, “So it’s official. YLN YN, welcome to our host club!”

Half the World Away | pjm.
Tumblr media
genre: angst, fluff
rating: G (no swearing or sexual content)
pairing: Jimin x reader
theme: idol!au, established relationship!au
word count: 1k
warnings: none
synopsis: You already miss Jimin whenever he’s away, and when you have a bad week you miss him a lot.
banner by me!
I wrote this drabble for part of the BTS Ghostie Writer’s Net Drabble Marathon! This drabble is based on the Song Lyrics Category prompt “Don’t say you’re okay, because you aren’t.” from Blue and Grey!
--♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡--
After dating Jimin for 6 years, from pre-debut to stardom, you both had fallen into a well-oiled machine of a relationship. There were some parts that you both had agreed on together, such as “Jimin sleeps on the right side of the bed and you sleep on the left”, and “no going to bed upset with each other”, while some you had figured out on your own through some trial-and-error during your relationship.
For example, you had learned that Jimin actually hated broccoli (and I mean, truly despised it) but he never wanted to tell you since you loved it so much, but ever since then you’ve started cooking only one portion of broccoli and he couldn’t hide how grateful he was. However, the most important thing you had learned was that when Jimin was on tour he was busy - he spent morning to evening every night in rehearsals, performances, and appearances, and even on his days off he was out exploring with the boys so he didn’t have time to talk. After 5 different tours, you had learned that any correspondence from Jimin (whether it be a cute selfie of him in front of a tourist spot, or a quick good morning text even thought it was actually 1am and you were heading to bed) was something to be cherished, and you should have basically no expectations and wish for nothing more.
That’s why after you had endured an absolutely terrible week, you didn’t say a word about it to Jimin. It started with your car stalling on your way to work, then your dog had decided to rip up your new $200 dress that you had been saving up for for months, then a kid threw up on you at the grocery store ( the way kids just managed to throw up anywhere was a huge ick for you), and then last and most of all, your boss had scheduled a 10 min “check in and chat” with you at 5pm on Friday, which resulted on you being fired for your job.
Dating an idol had taught you to be very self sufficient, but on nights like this, when you were crying on your couch, greasy pizza in hand, and clutching a Charmander plushie Jimin won for you at a carnival as if it could act as any sort of replacement for him, you wanted nothing more than Jimin by your side. No matter how hard you tried, nothing seemed to replace him.
That’s why as you saw Jimin’s name pop up on your screen, with the word “FaceTime” underneath, you prayed to every single god out that there that you’d be able to keep yourself together for the probable 5 minutes that he’d have to spend with you.
It was Jimin who spoke first, appearing with a huge grin on his face and cheering with a “hi babe! How’s it going?”
You attempted to carrying on small talk with Jimin, updating him with the very small list of things that had gone well since you had last been in contact with him. You tried your best to muster up adequate reactions while Jimin was recounting his tour adventures, and maybe you could have done a better job of it if you weren’t constantly trying to hold back tears.
The thing was, while you had been making your own list of things you had learned about your relationship, you failed to realize that Jimin was doing the same as well. He picked up on your quirks, like how you had black coffee in the morning but took yours with 2 cream in the evening, and how you hated when movies had sad endings so he always looked up the endings of movies beforehand to make sure they didn’t upset you. He knew that you stopped making as much broccoli as him because you had realized he didn’t like it, so he made sure to show you how much he appreciated it every time.
Jimin saw the way your eyes shined in the reflection of the light from your phone, and if that wasn’t enough for him to deduce your emotions, you also touched your hair every 0.5 seconds - something he had learned was a dead giveaway that you were seconds away from sobbing.
“Y/N, baby…”
You could immediately hear the instant switch to a patronizing tone in Jimin’s voice, but you took a deep breath in efforts to shake the lump in your throat, ruffling your hair again to try and calm your feelings.
“I’m fine Jimin, really, perfect okay. Tell me about what you did today in Osaka! Did you end up going to Disney like you wanted?” You couldn’t stop your voice from cracking in the middle of your sentence.
As if through divine intervention, a savior in the form of Jungkook came bursting through Jimin’s door with a chorus of “Hyung, our break is over!”. However, for the first time in your relationship, Jimin shushed Jungkook, begging him to cover for him and that he had something important to tend.
Your eyes wanted to water just at that last sentence. You didn’t know how much you missed being important to Jimin until he said it out loud.
“Babe, I know something’s wrong and I want you to tell me, okay? No matter what, I’m going to be here to help you through it - there’s nothing that we can’t handle together. Don’t pretend you’re okay, because you aren’t".

Apple and Cinnamon | MYG
Tumblr media
⁑ Summary: I can't believe that you and me were falling out of love. And that everybody used to be so envious of us.
⁑ Pairing: Yoongi x Gender Neutral!Reader
⁑ Genre & Rating: Angst, established relationship, idolverse, PG
⁑ Warnings: None
⁑ Word Count: 839
⁑ A/N: Written for @btsghostiewritersnet Drabble Marathon.
Category: Themes ⇢ Types of Love
Inspired by “Apple and Cinnamon” by Utada Hikaru. It’s my favorite song by her and is very much an angsty, lost love song. Thank you to my bby @lilbeanin for beta reading!! 😘
Tumblr media
Neither of you knows for sure when things started to fall apart. Yoongi estimates that it was sometime between the long trips away and late nights in the practice room. You predict it was a mix of you caught between being so absorbed in work, both in the office and with the pile of extra work you’d stay buried in at home.
No matter when it started, it didn’t happen overnight. You didn't just wake up and decide you’ve both fallen out of love.
Realization hits when Yoongi is holding you in his arms after what seemed like weeks. You don’t feel warm and safe and surrounded by love like you used to. It doesn’t seem like you fit into Yoongi's arms like a puzzle piece slipping into its correct slot anymore. It’s awkward and uncomfortable, and you both sleep as far away as possible that night.
After that came the fights. The screaming matches, the broken dishes, and the “who-can-say-the-meanest-things” game. This is a game that you both take turns winning. Things like "pathetic” and “useless” are thrown around carelessly. Of course, there's retaliation with “disgusting” and “spineless,” and each time, all of the words cut deeper than either of you would like to admit.
This leads to the intentional late nights out. Yoongi puts in extra dance practice or all-night songwriting sessions to avoid going home. You spend more nights at the office, filing additional paperwork and organizing documents to create more of a distance between the two of you.
It went on for months - almost five to be exact. It isn’t until one day, while you’re preparing dinner for just yourself -which had become routine - that you realize everything has genuinely fallen apart. Your once perfect storybook relationship had taken a turn for the worst, and everything is different now. There’s no more happiness, joy, or love left. Only anger, tension, and resentment fill the air of the apartment you had gotten when you still loved one another.
Later that night, when Yoongi finally decides to face going home, he finds you curled into yourself in the middle of the bed. You’re whimpering and sniffling, letting sobs wrack your frame. At that moment, he isn’t sure whether to leave you be and drag his exhausted body to sleep in the guest room or to check on you.
After standing there for far too long, he decides to do the right thing and opens his mouth to speak. "Y/n, are you okay?"
At the sound of his voice, you stop and sit up to look at him. "Yoongi, what happened to us?" you choke out.
The question catches him off guard and he isn’t sure how to answer it. "W-what do you mean?" he replies, even though he knows all too well.
“We used to be so happy. People used to tell me all the time, ‘Y/n, you and Yoongi are so perfect together. I hope I can have a relationship like yours one day.’” You force out a scoff and shake your head. "If only they knew how wrong they were." You begin to cry again, uncaring if he sees you.
"I don't know," is all he can say. Yoongi noticed how different things were, probably before you had, but he hoped it'd fix itself. It all just seems like wishful thinking now.
You sleep in the same bed together that night after so many nights of sleeping in separate rooms and separate buildings. You cry yourself to sleep, letting the man you once loved hold you in his arms.
Tumblr media
Most of Yoongi’s things are packed the following morning when you wake up puffy-eyed and worn out.
"I'm going to go stay with Seokjin. He has a spare room and has been wanting me as a roommate for a while." Yoongi speaks awkwardly, nervously rubbing the back of his neck. "I'll get the rest of my stuff later." You nod meekly, watching him pick his two suitcases up and head to the front door.
When he has his hand on the knob, you rush over to him and hug him from behind. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry that this is how it ends."
Yoongi sighs and turns in your arms to hug you properly. "I'm sorry too. These things happen, I suppose." He kisses your forehead, feeling tears prick the back of his eyes. The cry he’s been holding in for far too long is finally about to wear him down.
When you pull away from him, he sends you one last look before taking his things and leaving you alone.
You sink to the floor, letting your body rid itself of what you hope is the last of your tears for today, at least. What would you tell people when they asked? How are you supposed to say you had simply fallen out of love? You were supposed to be together and be happy and eventually start a family. This was just one of those things that were too good to be true.

❝ the red string is supposed to connect you to your soulmate. so why does your red string lead you to kim taehyung, the most annoying boy in your nursery school?  ❞

Tumblr media
You aren’t sure why there is a red string tied around your finger, and you aren’t sure why this string leads to Kim Taehyung, the annoying boy from your nursery school. All you know for sure is that you don’t like Kim Taehyung, and the red string might have something to do with it.
When you met Taehyung on the first day of nursery school, he had refused to let you play in the sand pit. And then, when you tried to join him, he had pushed you away. This resulted in you throwing sand in his face, which further resulted in lot of tears, and kicking, and shouting, and the teachers had to come and break apart your fight, cooing, “Now, now. That’s no way to behave. Say sorry, and hug it out.”
So when your teacher announces one day that you’ll be covering the topic of the red strings you freeze in place. Finally, you’ll get an explanation for the string that ties you to Taehyung.
You glance across at him, standing by the teacher, a teddy bear from the nursery’s toy box clutched in his hands. His eyes drift to yours, his lips parted slightly. Under his gaze, you feel your cheeks getting hot. His eyes bounce off yours quickly, and he stares down at the floor, biting down on his bottom lip.
As the rest of the children settle on the cushions and beanbags spread out across the floor, staring up at your teacher, she asks, “Can anybody tell me what the red string means?”
One child at the front raises her hand, and the teacher nods at her.
“Um,” the girl hesitates, “My mummy told me that her red string led her to my daddy.”
The teacher nods her head, “Yes, it’s true that many mummies and daddies meet each other through their red strings. But what do the red strings actually mean for us?”
Another child shouts out, “They lead us to our soulmates!”
“Yes, that’s correct,” the teacher says, “But please don’t shout out next time. We raise our hands when we want to speak, remember?”
“Sorry, miss,” the child mumbles.
“So, what does it actually mean to have a soulmate?” the teacher asks.
One boy sticks his hand up. “It’s… um… it’s kind of like a best friend that you stay with forever.”
“Yes, that’s absolutely right,” the teacher beams, “A soulmate is a forever best friend. Our red strings are connected to our soulmates, and following the thread will lead us to them. The soulmate threads that connect you will only be visible to you and your soulmate. Some of you may have already met your soulmate. And some of you may need to wait a long time before you reach your soulmate. No matter what, it will be a rewarding experience to finally find them.”
From the corner of your eyes, you sneak a glance at Taehyung. He’s staring at you, his brow wrinkled.
He can’t be your soulmate, can he? There must be a mistake.
You hate Taehyung more than anything – he’s rude, mean to your face and annoying behind your back. There’s no way that this boy if your forever best friend. More like your forever worst enemy. There has to be some way to break the red thread that ties you together.
The teacher claps her hands to draw your attention back to her. “Alright, that’s enough for today’s lesson. We’ll be doing some arts and crafts now. You can make pictures representing your idea of a ‘soulmate’.”
At the words “arts and crafts” the children around you begin to scramble towards the art cupboard, grabbing for glue sticks, glitter, and stickers.
You push through the grabbing hands to reach for the specific item you need. It’s not for an art project. You need it for something more important. Smiling, you pick up the pair or red scissors from their wooden box, and turn around, searching for Taehyung. He’s sitting at a desk with his friends, glitter and crayons piled in front of him.
Walking over, you grab at the string wrapped to his fingers, and snip at it with your scissors.
You and Taehyung both stare in surprise as the red string that had connected you together flutters down to the ground, unravelling. You had not expected it to be that easy to cut off your soulmate. With a triumphant grin, you look up at Taehyung. Your smile quickly wavers as Taehyung’s red string wiggles, straightens itself out, and reattaches to his finger, lurching you closer to him.
“No,” you struggle against the tugging of the red string, “I don’t wanna be his soulmate.” You know the string cannot hear you, but you still want it to know that it’s made a mistake, attaching you to Taehyung.
The string tightens, pulling to stubbornly closer to your forever worst enemy. The universe is clearly angry at your attempts to go against its guidance. You find yourself inches from Taehyung. With one final tug, the string thrusts you into Taehyung’s arms. Upon impact, Taehyung tumbles out of his chair with a clatter, as glitter and crayons spill off the table, showering you and Taehyung. You find yourself tangled on the floor, the string holding you close to the boy who is supposed to be your soulmate.
Taehyung begins to sniffle beneath you, as you quickly get off him, worried that you might have actually hurt him.
Sitting in a pile of spilled art supplies, Taehyung wipes a few stray tears from his chubby cheeks, “But I wanna be your soulmate,” he cries.
You flush, brushing glitter from your t-shirt. The other children are staring at you. “But I thought you hated me,” you mumble, confused.
“Huh?” Taehyung’s brown eyes peer up at you, like a worried puppy. “No way. I like you.”
“But you wouldn’t let me play in the sandpit with you,” you remind him, chewing on the inside of your cheek.
“Because I was building a pretty sandcastle for you,” Taehyung sniffs, “I didn’t want you to see it until I finished it. But you destroyed it before I could show you.”
You suddenly feel very guilty for having gotten angry at this boy for what are – you can see now – silly reasons. Maybe, after all your misunderstandings, you could be friends with this boy after all.
You hold your hand out to him, helping him up from the floor. The string around his finger feels warm on your skin, promising that this choice is right for you. “I suppose we could be friends after all then...”
With a grin, Taehyung throws his arms around you in a hug, while you grumble that he’s making a big scene and distracting everyone else.
- ✽ ✽ ✽ -
Twenty years later, as you find yourself walking down the aisle dressed in white, you think back with a fond smile to the day that you tried to cut Taehyung off from you. You had been so foolish back then. Looking over the past years together, you are so thankful that the red thread had connected you to Taehyung. Looking up, he grins at you as you approach him, giving his trademark boxy smile that has grown so precious to you. You can see his eyes shining, holding back happy tears as he takes in your beauty.
Reaching the front of the chapel, adorned with pink and white roses, you take Taehyung’s hand in your own, smiling as you both recite your vows for each other. The red sting on your finger, with a gold wedding band slipped over, symbolises your love, promised forever.
Now it’s official. Taehyung really is your forever best friend.
- THE END -

“I’ll take it from here”
“No, it’s alright” Taehyung dismissed you.
“You’ve been driving for almost three hours now”, you pointed towards the time to show him that it's currently 4 in the morning and there’s still another hour to go before you get to arrive in Busan, “You must be tired.”
“I’m not tired”, Taehyung yawned.
“See! You’ve been yawning non-stop for the past five minutes now”
“I did not yawn”
“You just did!” you retaliated, yawning afterwards.
“Oh you just did too!” Taehyung pointed at you as he turned to look at you and he had to bite his lower lip to contain his laughter when he saw you looking annoyed as hell with the way the corners of your mouth are pointing downwards.
“It’s because yawning is contagious”, you rolled your eyes as you sigh, “Tae, you need to take a rest so why don’t you pull over and let me drive.“
“I told you. I got this”
“Taehyung, don’t be–”
“God, just say you’re worried for each other”, Jimin interjected from the backseat, leaning forward towards the center console as he let out a loud yawn whilst rubbing the sleep from his eyes, “You lovebirds are insufferable.”
Jimin always finds it amusing that you two have managed to still remain ignorant towards your feelings for each other so as to not jeopardize your friendship but it looks like you’re both actually clueless about it and Jimin has had enough with the tension more than the two of you idiots.
“I’ll drive”, Jimin suggested, hoping his plan in mind would work, “It’s about time I put my driver’s license to use anyway.”
Taehyung was quick to comply as he pulled over at the side of the road and you incredulously looked at him but he could only give you a shrug as he unbuckled himself to switch places with Jimin.
“And why are you still here?” Jimin raised his brows as soon as he got himself on the driver’s seat.
“You need someone to stay awake with” you stated as a matter of fact.
“I’ve slept enough, now why don’t you join your lover Instead?” Jimin teased, prompting you to squint your eyes at him suspiciously, “What? I’m just saying that you both need some sleep.”
“I could sleep here.”
“But the backseat is much comfier, right?” Jimin twisted his body to speak to Taehyung who’s currently snuggling himself further down into the small blanket up to the point that his eyes are the only one peeking through it.
“Mhmm” Taehyung hummed as he slowly blinked his half lidded eyes and you tried your best to not coo at the sight but Jimin snapped his fingers in front of your face to get your attention.
“Come on, Y/N. I’m not going to move this car ‘til you get yourself back there”
“You’re pushy, aren’t you?” you huffed as you relentlessly unbuckle yourself to remove your shoes and throw it haphazardly at the back where you joined Taehyung by jumping over the console, “Happy?”
“As long as you’re happy” Jimin winked, immediately stepping on the gas to continue the trip.
You decided to settle by the window, imitating Taehyung on the other end as you crossed your arms and leaned your head against the window, not realizing how sleepy you felt until now and that’s on Taehyung for showing up unannounced in front of your house at midnight to drag you along with him into this trip that Jimin has planned on a whim.
You slowly felt yourself drifting off to sleep but you were disrupted when you felt a tap on your shoulder, prompting you to open your eyes to see that Taehyung had managed to slid closer to you.
“Can I hold you?” Taehyung whispered.
“Huh?”
“I can’t sleep properly”
“Okay” you mumbled.
Taehyung swung his arms around your shoulders to pull you in so he could share and drape the blanket around your figure. You scooted closer to him until you felt comfortable enough although you were a bit unsure if you should even put your head to rest against his chest but Taehyung must’ve sensed your hesitation because he took it upon himself to gently place your head there.
“Is this okay?”, Taehyung asked when he felt your body tensing up, prompting him to squeeze your shoulder to possibly make you at ease.
“Yeah” you affirmed him as you relaxed into his hold, eyes falling shut whilst you nuzzled your face closer to his neck.
“Good night”
“Good morning” you corrected and you could feel his chuckle vibrate through his chest.
Taehyung used his hand around your shoulder to ran his fingers through your hair in a manner that could easily lull you into a slumber but you believe that won’t be happening anytime soon, not when you could feel his other hand ghosting over your palm and you can’t help but wonder what his hands would feel like against yours but wouldn’t it be too strange for the two of you to hold hands?
Then again, isn’t it already strange to get so cozy with your best friend like this in the first place? It is strange but it’s not like you’re complaining and so does Taehyung, so what is there to lose at this point if you let your curiosity take over? You might as well take advantage of the situation while the opportunity presents itself.
You did not hold back any longer when you decided to encapsulate his hand onto yours and you admit that it was a scary thing to do because you felt like you’ve just crossed a line you shouldn’t even be crossing and Taehyung being unresponsive doesn’t help either but hearing the sounds of his rapid heart beat has somewhat made you relieved.
Taehyung squeezed your hand, thumb drawing soothing circles at the back of your hand but he then grabbed it to place it along his shoulder whilst he moved the hand that was on your shoulders down to your waist to reel you in to his side furthermore making this seem more intimate than it was.
“You still awake?” he said.
“Yeah”
“Look at me” and so you did.
Taehyung’s face was dangerously close to yours and you think your heart is going to burst with the way he’s looking at you so softly with that small smile adorning his face that soon falters once his eyes flickered down to your lips and you could already feel the butterflies wilding in your stomach, particularly so when Taehyung began to lean in.
But just as your lips were about to meet, the two of you suddenly bounced off of your seats as your heads painfully clashed against each other and that’s because Jimin accidentally drove over a speed bump at full speed.
Annoyed, Taehyung sent Jimin a deadly glare through the rear view mirror for ruining the moment.
“Oops, my bad” Jimin apologetically smiled.

You weren’t sure what it was about the dark haired stranger you were dancing with tonight, but all you knew was you wanted him to take you home. You’d noticed him staring at you soon as you walked into the club. You thought he was just taking in your costume; which was just some dark slacks, a puffy white shirt, paired with some moldable vampire fangs and some cheap costume jewelry. It was a little corny and not all that impressive, but you thought you looked good. And apparently he did too because before you knew it, he approached you, asking you to dance.
Now here you were, your back pressed up against his front as your bodies moved to the heavy beat of the song playing. It didn’t take long for you to feel his dick hardening as it rubbed up against your ass. His hands traveled all over you, grabbing and squeezing at your body, gauging your reaction to his touches. Your head fell back as you let out a whine, your senses were completely overwhelmed. You were practically intoxicated by him despite not having a drop of alcohol in your system. You could feel his lips curl into a smirk as he dragged them up the length of your neck, inhaling deeply. “Anything you wanna ask me, little boy?” He asked. His grip on your hips tightening as he pulled you closer, grinding his bulge into you.
His hot breath had you shuddering against his touch. “Take me home,” you gasped, “please.”
Soon as the words left your mouth, your hand was in his as he all but dragged you out of the club. You giggled as you stumbled after him, letting him lead you away from the crowd and into the cool night air. Under the yellow light of the street lamps, you could notice more details about him. His dark hair was shaggy, but it suited him. His eyes kept flickering to you, as if to constantly check on if you had any second thoughts. But you had none, you were ready for this handsome stranger to fuck you into oblivion and leave you wanting more.
You were about to ask him about a car or ordering an uber, but before you could even open your mouth, he pulled you into an alleyway. Once you were away from the bright lights of the street, he pushed you up against the wall of the club.
“Someone’s eager.” You chuckled as you spread your legs for him to stand between, eliminating any space between the two of you.
“You have no idea,” he muttered as his lips sucked on your neck, leaving a trail of bruises. He must’ve been wearing fangs as well because as his lips traveled over your neck, you could feel the light drag of the points. Your hands went up to his hair, tugging on his dark locks. His hands fell down to your legs, giving your thighs a squeeze. Instantly understanding his request, you wrapped your legs around his hips, grinding your bulge against his. “You smell. . . so good. . .” He whispered the words against your skin. His head moved away from your neck to face you, he was leaning down to kiss you but you stopped him for a moment.
“Wait, I uh, gotta get these off.” You huffed as one of your hands left his hair to pull the press on fangs out, tossing them to the ground. You gave him a shy smile, now that the chunks of plastic are out of your mouth. He returned your smile with a smirk, his tongue darting out to wet his lips. In that split second, you can see the faint gleam of his own fangs from the far away street light. “Uh, are you gonna take yours out?”
“Hmm?” His brows furrowed in confusion for a second. “Oh right. . . yeah, mine are a bit more. . . permanent.” His eyes fell down to your neck and suddenly you felt cold, the look on his face like he wanted to devour you whole suddenly seemed less appealing. You attempted to shift against him, wanting to create space between you but he brought himself closer to you. “Don’t be scared, little boy. It’s just one bite.”

What Do They Know?
Tumblr media
summary: they say you don’t know him, but they don’t know him like you do.
pairing: jimin x reader
wc: 783
genre: fluff, pg13
warning: one very brief mention of a titjob. jimin has led a promiscuous life but no slut shaming allowed in this house!!!
a/n: for my hana. minimally edited. i love park jimin and hana and they love each other. lowkey based off the “i kinda feel sorry for them 'cause they'll never know you the way that I do” part in drivers license.
pt 3 of @btsghostiewritersnet drabble marathon. prompt used: “I’ve been waiting for far too long.”
Tumblr media
They told you Jimin was bad news. Jimin doesn’t do commitment, they said. You don’t believe them, though. Not when he’s holding you close late at night underneath the safety of his bedsheets. His warmth enveloping you whole as you listen to the steady rhythm of his breathing that fans out over your bare shoulder. Not when he wakes up in the morning, pulls you in closer and kisses you until you’re a giggling mess.
They warned you that Jimin would break your heart. You don’t understand how they don’t see the way he genuinely and actively works on shaping up his act. It hasn’t been easy, of that, both you and Jimin know well. Of course you knew all about his wild streak. Of course he knew you were far, far removed from the lifestyle he was used to.
In the beginning of your relationship with Jimin, you very nearly fell into the well-meaning but extremely intrusive thoughts your friends kept feeding you. Despite having your foot out the door, he continued to prove to you, time and time again, that he was here to stay.
They don’t know the Jimin who runs to the edge of a restaurant balcony and declares his love for you while you hide behind the cloth napkin. They don’t see him when he pulls you close in bed, shares all his most intimate thoughts, and listens intently when you share your own.
They weren’t there when he first murmured the words “I love you” one random Tuesday on your living room couch. You’d daydreamed about hearing those three special words many, many times before, but never did you expect a blushing and shy Jimin, knelt between your legs, gaze nervous but steady on you.
They don’t know that he secretly signed up for an online coding course in order to help you with your last semester of classes.
“Ugh, god I am going insane!” You pulled at your hair after having combed through the thousands of codes for much too long, searching for that one semicolon that might have been misplaced.
You remember when Jimin had shoved you aside, a smug look on his face when he found the broken code within a few minutes. Your only response was to stare at him in complete awe.
“Finally! I get to use these skills I learned.”
“My savior,” you’d declared, and rewarded his good deed that evening with a titjob on the same couch he’d confessed his love to you on.
He continues to demonstrate how attentive and caring a lover he is, and slowly but surely you know he is making his way into your friends’ hearts. They know, now, that you’ve become a crucial structure in the dynamic of his group of friends. They know that he’s driven across town to bring you a clean pair of shorts and underwear after a menstrual staining accident along with flowers and a bag of fresh potato croquettes in hand. He forces you to watch anime with him but in return, he tends to your crops and animals when you’re too buried in your studies to play your farming simulation games.
It’s been three years now and there's not a lot about Jimin that you don't know. You know he's especially partial to red meat. He loves reading romance as much as he does dark fantasy—a guilty pleasure he used to hide from you. There isn't much he hides from you these days.
But there is one big secret he hid from you for a significantly long amount of time. A secret that, for once, even your friends were privy to and accepting of. With the help of his and your friends, he plans a date touring the 29 Rooms galleries with the intention to end the date in the privacy of your home to ask you the question of a lifetime. A question he plans to ask only once in his life.
He knows you’re suspicious when you see the flower petals scattered that lead from the front door into the living room. When you turn around to probe for answers, he’s already knelt on one knee with the ring box in his hand.
At a time when no one had expectations for him, when everyone left him high and dry, you stuck by his side through it all. No one’s ever really cared to get to know him. Not until you, and he’s determined to show you how grateful he is to have you in his life for as long as you’ll have him.
With tears in both your eyes, he takes your hand in his. “I’ve been waiting for far too long for this moment...”

“Y/N? Are you listening to me?”
You blink. “Huh?”
Jungkook lets out a sigh for the fifth time at the same hour. “You’re not even listening. So, why do you even ask me to tutor you?”
You honestly have no idea what makes Jungkook so passionate about all these numbers and letters. But just watching him explain it is so captivating that you find yourself unable to focus on his words.
Straightening yourself on your seat, you clear your throat. “My grades are failing and… Well, I asked our lecturer and he recommended you.”
The man in front of you rubs his temple in annoyance.
“And you agreed to it anyway,” you shrug nonchalantly. At the same time, your fingers fiddle under the table before you swipe your sweaty palms against your designer jeans.
It’s almost appalling how a mere man can shake your confidence so effortlessly.
Jeon Jungkook is a force to be reckoned with. Even now, clad in a simple white hoodie and a pair of sweatpants, he is a sight to behold.
You’ve known him for over a year now, ever since orientation day—not that you are complaining—where you got paired up with him for icebreaking. Jungkook being Jungkook charmed you right from the get-go with his doe eyes and bright smile, drawing you to him already.
But, of course, you refused to admit your “defeat” even if it’s a losing game you’re playing. As time passes, whenever you’re sharing class, you realise that Jungkook is everything you have ever wanted. Everything that he does makes your heart a tad beat faster, and it makes you excited for coding class (when you have zero interest in this subject).
No one else in your whole college can compare to him, and you have a high standard regarding men.
You want Jeon Jungkook, but, unfortunately, all your flirting attempts are shot down cold by him.
And you just don’t get it. You’re gorgeous, charming, rich— How on earth can someone be immune to that?
Once, you asked his best friend (who’s dating her childhood friend) what type of girls Jungkook likes. And, after an impromptu self-reflection, it starts to piss you off since, well, you don’t chase men, which is why Jungkook must be someone impressive.
Not to mention that Jungkook seems to impersonate a wall of steel so well. So, you have no other choice but to find another way to spend time with him (even when he actively avoids you these past few weeks).
“I agreed to this because Professor Lee promised to give extra credits.”
Typical.
Rolling your eyes, you cross one leg over the other, leaning back on the chair of the library. “So all it took is only extra credits, huh?” Jungkook’s brows furrow at your words. “Oh, please, you’re too smart to play dumb,” you scoff. “Why are you avoiding me?”
A sigh escapes his lips then he stands up abruptly. “This is not part of the tutoring. I will tell Professor Lee that you’re hopeless in this one.”
He turns away when you lunge forward and grab his wrist, standing up from your seat.
“Did I do something wrong?” You swallow a lump down your throat to prevent your voice from wavering. “Are you upset with me?”
Jungkook tugs his wrist free from your grasp, turning to you fully while he fixes his backpack on one shoulder. “No, I’m just tired.”
“That’s not a clear explanation.”
“Okay, I will explain myself clearer. I’m tired of having to deal with your antics. Every single time we hang out I’d almost always end up… I don’t know, in deep shit?” Jungkook spews on, “People like you don’t understand how hard it is to be accepted into this prestigious college. People like you don’t understand how easy it is to be kicked out if you only have your reputation and grades backing you up.”
Jungkook releases a breath. “Your definition and my definition of fun is different. We’re both too different. And if you please, just leave me alone. I don’t need other things stacking up on my plate. And—”
“Kook?”
He whips his body quickly, and your gaze falls to the girl behind him.
“Are you still tutoring her?”
Who the fuck—
“No, I’m done, babe. I was just leaving.”
Without giving you another glance, he puts his arm over her shoulders and walks out of the library. Even when he’s out of sight, you remain standing there, never expecting to have your heart shattered in the quiet library.
