My opinion of the character: in the first few episodes I thought she was whiny but she grew on me and I love her so much. She was also amazing in the Ahsoka novel (please read it. It’s so good) but in book of boba fett I didn’t like her. She left the order and has no right to preach the Jedi code

Otp: either barrissoka (ignoring the temple bombing because that was stupid) or kaesoka

Notp: anisoka, rexsoka, and maulsoka

Brotp: the disaster trio. Ahsoka, Anakin, and Obi-Wan are a family and I love it.

A random headcanon: once as a youngling she really wanted to try using a lightsaber and she ‘borrowed’ Plo’s without asking. He caught her but she did a cute little kid face so he couldn’t stay mad.

Unpopular opinion: I actually like live action Snips. She wasn't perfect, but not everyone can be Ewan McGregor and James Arnold Taylor level perfect. So I liked her performance a lot!

Song I associate with them: My friend made this amazing Ahsoka tribute set to "Stronger" by Sam Tsui, so I'd go with that one!

Clonecest, anisoka, obikin - yeah, maybe, just don’t be an asshole abt it in the tag, but leave Rexsoka alone. It’s a wholesome and healthy pairing. And it’s really not Rex’s fault that he is 10 at the beginning of CW but looks in his 20s. Kaminoans are jerks, blame them.

1. What OTPs in your fandom do you just not get?

Honestly, there's quite a few. Obikin is one, as well as Anisoka - I'm really not a fan of romantic master-padawan ships. I especially really don't get Obidala - it seriously weirds me out as a ship.

2. Are there any popular fandom OTPs that you only BROTP?

Obikin is one I guess. I very much don't ship them romantically, but their platonic relationship is quite interesting and very important narratively speaking. Rexwalker is another. I like Rex and Anakin's dynamic a lot - they're one of my top SW BROTPs - but the only person I can see Anakin with romantically is Padme.

Sexuality headcanon: demisexual or on the ace spectrum. I don’t think Anakin is heteroromantic tbh. I know having Anakin be bi is a popular headcanon as well, so probably biromantic.

Gender headcanon: ok I know in canon he’s a cismale, but hear me out. if one of your parents was some omnipresent energy force, would you even have a gender??? does the force understand the concept of gender??? i think not. so i think anakin just does what he wants.

A ship I have with said character: Have I mentioned... that I like anidala so much... that I am writing a whole fic about them being double agents and going to a fancy ball... But for real I ship him with multiple people.

A BROTP I have with said character: Anakin and Ahsoka! Anakin and Obi-Wan! Anakin and Rex! All of them!!!! Let him have friends!!!

A NOTOP I have with said character: Anisoka. please don’t interpret this as ship bashing. My issue with this ship is that it often involves an underage Ahsoka (from the limited content I’ve seen from it) and that makes me extremely uncomfortable. Another one is anakin and palpatine. I don’t even think I have to explain why this makes me uncomfortable.

A random headcanon: likes to draw (from legends) and keeps sketchbooks around that have all kinds of doodles and his thoughts in them.

General opinion on said character: disaster garbage boy. should have been going to weekly therapy sessions as a kid instead of meetings with palpatine. a good example of a tragic hero arc.

For SW: most of the mainstream Clone/Jedi ship especially Rexwalker, Rexsoka, and Plowolffe. I just ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ nope, no thanks. I also don’t get Monnk/Kit like. They probably had interactions in Comics, but canon they had like 2 lines and one of them was Kit just recognizing Monnk as commander im 90% sure

Also for SW: ANY Padawan/Master Ship. I will come for you kneecaps if I see anyone tagging my shit as ObiKin, Anisoka, or QuiObi. I’m a ship what you want person but if you’re tagging my original stuff with those tags I’m gonna throw hands

Another SW: Barrissoka?? I know people love it because wlw and all that, but Filoni needs to stop uncanon-izing actual canon as well. ahsoka is neurodivergent. period. i’m thinking adhd? i think it definitely adds to her chaotic nature and lack of sticking to the plans/following orders but also allows her to see things deeply, both institutions like the jedi order & small things like battle strategies & anakin’s emotions.

6: favorite line from this character

there are two: 1) “they may be willing to die, but i’m not going to be the one to kill them” which i think really embodies both her respect for the people she’s been trained to believe are lesser than her as clones, in rank, in everything...and her independence from the jedi order and the republic/seperatists right. she’s her own person!!

and 2) “be careful not to choke on your stupidity” -- we ALL know she bragged about this one to anakin and then he borrowed her line in rogue one. come on, it’s a classic!

7: one way in which I relate to this character

i think we have similar personalities! i mean, i also project onto ahsoka a lot, but i think she’s made to be a relatable character to the audience, right from her teenage years to the wise person she becomes in rebels & the Mandalorian. not saying that the audience or me is wise, but learning, in general, is something we all experience in life, and that disillusionment to things we hold dear.

8: thing that gives me secondhand embarrassment about this character

there are several moments in the early clone wars & tcw movie that are just...no<3 i can’t think of anything specific, but early days ahsoka can be annoying on occasion

Yooo her character development. Ahsoka has been around from the very beginning. And at the start, not alot of people were very big fans of her. But over time, we got to watch her grow into a strong and complex character. ALSO the subtle similarities in how she’s acts that resembles Anakin and Obi-Wan. SHES SUCH A STRONG AND WELL WRITTEN CHARACTER.

Idk how she’s quick to jump to conclusions at the beginning of the show. And she doesn’t think things through. But that’s the beauty of it, she’s learning and growing. That’s a natural flaw that a lot of people have. And it’s prominent in who she is as a character, how she’s grown into a strong and wise warrior. Idk if that counts but here ya go o.0

Ahsoka often dreamed of the future. Of Plo Kloon, Anakin, or even of Rex and his brothers and the lives they’d lead after the bloody war was ended. She never dreamt of the past or present. She dreamed of the order, of becoming a Jedi Knight and serving alongside so many of her friends. Could she serve on the Jedi Council? Ahsoka didn’t think so. She has spent too much time around Anakin, her outspokenness would get her into more trouble then good. She’d dream of Anakin, of the friendship they shared.

Then the Republic fell. Everything changed and her dreams did too. Whenever Ahsoka closed her eyes, all she saw was fire. Then the screams would start, deafened by blaster fire. That’s all there ever was. Sometimes she’d see Anakin amidst the heat, he’s different… somehow. He still looked like her Master, but he looked…strained. It was in his eyes. The hollowed out look, the reflection of the flames that danced all around was in them. They weren’t the sky blue they always had been, but as golden as the glow around Ahsoka and her Master. And the dream always ends the same way, with his outstretched hand. An offer. Trust him, follow him into the fire.

She didn’t dare move, “Master?” He smirked, “Come on Snips.” And with that, the flames grew. Tendrils stretching up and flicking higher and higher, consuming him. She startled awake in a sweat, her heart racing.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s fridging cool how she’s coming into S2 of the Mandalorian, but I don’t think she should be in it. I’m worried that, due the complaints of Rey and the sequels, they’re going to try and mold her to become the new face of Star Wars. Which may weaken what she stands for as a character.

after the purge, when ahsoka and rex have finished burying brothers and have said their goodbyes, they jump to a nearby system to make themselves disappear. while sitting in a dive of a cantina for some much needed food, they find out about padme's death from some bland, dispassionate news anchor on the holonet and ahsoka, who up until this point has been a rock, finally fucking loses it because the last close friend who she'd hoped might be okay after all of this is gone. in spite of the risks, ahsoka and rex join the thousands of mourners that crowd the streets of theed for padme's funeral.

i liked her immediately when she was introduced, contrary to every single article i’ve ever seen that talks about ahsoka and just has to mention how annoying everyone found her in the clone wars movie and early seasons of the show. like, heaven forbid this 14-year-old girl act like an actual 14-year-old girl, i guess. smh.

favourite episode/etc: as awesome as the siege of mandalore is, i love “wookie hunt” because of her moment with anakin. he’s constantly worried about her (which i competently understand and validate) and he blames himself but ahsoka tells him that it’s because of his teachings that she survived. that moment to me really strengthened the bond between them, and anakin can rest easily a little bit if ahsoka’s alone, knowing that she can take care of herself. no one has really told anakin just how much they’re grateful and thankful for him which is something he needed, and ahsoka gave it to him. 

otp: i’m gonna get hate, but maulsoka. the chemistry they have, how similar they are and their dynamics are just so good!
