What are your thoughts on "Yuto needs glasses" as a headcanon? Guy's always squinting to at least some degree and had goggles that broke in his first appearance.

But yeah, adding glasses to a character improves their design almost 100% of the time. I could so see him being one of those people who avoids wearing them because he feels like it makes him look like a nerd, and when he meets this new cool girl that happens to be his best friend's sister that is the last thing he wants. He tells himself he'll just get contacts one day but that day never comes.

Could we get some tickle monster headcanons for the matsuno boys? I can imagine there's an endless amount of shenanigans that goes down between the six of them and your headcanons in the past have been so cute!

Ahhh, yes, adorabe request! I need to catch up on requests so I promise there's more coming after this, I've just been slow at getting to them!

Osomatsu: He will tickle his brothers over anything and everything with the only person he has trouble wrestling down being Karamatsu, but the other four are fair game.

• Does it all the time to reinforce his place as the eldest brother, so of course, he's gonna make them as embarrassed as possible while he's at it. He's so sickeningly teasey and there's no method he won't try.  Pokes and squeezes? No stomach is safe. Raspberries? He'll go until they're both out of breath. Playfully noms? You bet your life his baby brothers are so cute he just wants to eat them up. He has no shame and he makes that everybody else's problem.

• Choro and Totty are his biggest victims. Choro because he's so uptight all the time, always trying to tell him what to do with his life, and Totty because he needs to be humbled once in a while. Plus, his place as the youngest makes him a natural target for big brother shenanigans.

• He's a massive, goofy douche when he's playing tickle monster, and he laughs along the whole time as well. Ticking him back also isn't satisfying, at least if you're doing it out of revenge, because even if his target manages to turn the tables on him, his grin stays just as shit-eating as ever. He is only a little bit ticklish, just enough for you to get a good snicker out of him, but he's only smiling that widely because he finds the whole situation hilarious and fun.

• Overall very embarrassing on purpose but he finds quite a lot of genuine fun in it. And while he does intentionally try to fluster the person he's tormenting with teases, he somehow also manages to make them less self-conscious about the whole thing with how nonchalant he is when it comes to that kind of intimacy.

Karamatsu: Cheer-up tickles are his favorite but he's not above using them to teach his younger brothers a lesson. He's less of a tease than Oso is though.

• Unlike Oso who's embarrassing on purpose, anyone he decides to target immediately gets put in their place when they realize just how easily he's able to wrestle them down, all while being excruciatingly gentle.

• He's not one to tease, but the satisfied smirk on his face is almost worse, to his brothers at least. If he is being particularly playful, like when he's tickling Jyushi or Choro, then he does tend to throw in a few teases here and there, but they're more akin to compliments and genuine affectionate cooing. Usually drones on the whole time in some flowery way about the importance of staying in good spirits and how it warms his heart to see a smile on their face, and it's not like they can just ignore him like they usually do when he's literally holding them on his lap and forcing said dazzling smile out of them.

• Choro and Jyushi both also happen to be his biggest victims. Choro because he's always stressing himself out and needs to lighten up, and Jyushi because they've always had a really good big brother-little brother relationship and Jyushi is one of the few that lets him lean into the big brother role often, so they play around a lot. He's also gotten more than a few black eyes from Ichi but that hasn't stopped him from being one of the few people in the house dumb enough to tickle him. He does so just long enough to get a real laugh out of his usually morose younger brother then quickly releases him and runs for it before Ichi has the chance to collect himself.

• Kara is a blast to retaliate against. He's extremely ticklish to the point where all that strength he has becomes completely useless and he falls apart into a blushing, guffawing mess as soon as you lay your hands on him. It's more adorable when you realize he doesn't fight back at all since he secretly really enjoys the closeness and bonding aspect of it, even if it means you get to see him lose his cool composure. You could tickle him back for as long as you'd like and he'd never once try to get away.

• Him and Oso have a little bit of a rivalry going on since they're both the only brother the other can't wrestle down easily. Kara has a strength advantage over Oso, so he's always the one to give Oso his comeuppance, but Kara is way more ticklish, so if Oso can get him down, Kara crumbles and becomes helpless. Their tickle fights are a lot more like actual tickle fights as compared to the one-sided torment they inflict on their younger brothers.

• Overall, very painful and boisterous the whole time but also super gentle and not one to overdo it like Oso or some of the others.

Choromatsu: He's not nearly bold enough to be a tickler. Instead ending up as the one most often on the receiving end of the tickling, usually from Oso and Kara. He tries really hard to assert himself as one of the eldest, but they've both collectively decided they don't agree (despite it technically being true) and feel the need to remind him just what a cute little brother he is to them, making him one of the only targets the two of them will team up together against.

• Extremely ticklish all over and finds being tickled very embarrassing, so he always goes red-faced before it even starts, nervously trying to back away or talk himself out of it. He's a serious flailer too, so usually one person has to sit on his back or waist to keep him from getting away because he's such a squirmy little guy.

• His frantic laugh is adorable and his voice goes high when begging for mercy because he gets so unbelievably flustered by it, even to this day.

• He has attempted to tickle Oso back on a few occasions but it didn't go too well with him and immediately had the tables turned, so he's not too eager to try again. He has successfully tickled Totty on a few occasions to cheer him up but precariously avoids the others when they're having tickle fights because he knows if they so much as hear him from the other room he'll be pulled into it because he's such an easy target. It doesn't help that the others show absolutely no restraint with him and will tickle him until he's wheezing then move on with their day like it's the most normal thing in the world, leaving him a tired mess on the floor.

• Ichimatsu: Another one who is far too reserved to be a tickler and avoids it like the plague. Similarly to Choro, he will struggle for his very life to try to get away before it even starts and when he's finally been wrestled down will consistently throw harsh punches and kicks at his brothers in an attempt to throw them off, all while yelling a wide variety of swears and threats

• The only people in the house to dare target him regularly are Karamatsu and Jyushimatsu. Jyushimatsu because he's the only one of his brothers that can get away with it without harsh backlash and Karamatsu because to him, whatever promises of violence Ichi makes through gritted teeth are more than worth going through for the smile and laughter that follow.

• He'll fight it for as long as he can but when he finally breaks his laughter is quiet and wheezy, often further muffled by his hands if he's able to cover his face or bury it in the carpet. Hiccups a lot as well because he's still fighting for his life to try to hold back but once the flood gates open it's impossible for him to regain his composure completely. Jyushi called him Gigglymatsu once, resulting in the only time Ichi has ever threatened his younger brother as well as sending a spine-chilling glare at anyone who dares to repeat the embarrassing nickname. Unfortunately for him they still refer to him as that in private.

• He gets tired quickly but his brothers know his limits pretty well so he never has to endure it for too long. Almost always falls asleep right after too, but when he finally wakes up whoever did the tickling had better have spent that time finding a good place to hide.

Jyushimatsu: He's a wholesome menace. Tickle monster Jyushi is as unpredictable as he is impartial. He'll pounce anyone for any reason but most of the time it's cause he sees them looking down. He's not a malicious tickler by any means, so once he's had his fill and is convinced they've been properly cheered up he's quick to let then go, even helping them back onto their feet.

• While Kara is the strongest when it comes to normal human standards, I think we all know Jyushimatsu has the unfair advantage of being Jyushimatsu. So there's no getting away from him once he's successfully pounced. He'll probably let you go if you ask nicely, but only if you can promise that you're feeling better!

• He is the resident tickle monster of the house, so he gets each of his brothers quite a lot, but his biggest victim is Ichimatsu. Mostly because he's the only one that can get away with tickling him without the threat of bodily injury. He's also wise enough not to do it when anybody else is around because he just wants to see his big brother's real smile.

• Very ticklish himself and loves tickle fights. Doesn't even bother to fight back when he's the victim besides excitedly kicking the floor or gripping their wrists. If he really wanted to throw them off he totally could but he finds the whole thing very fun and is more or less letting them take their turn. The only downside is that he sees it as an endurance competition so either you have to exhaust him or he's going to exhaust you, and chances are you don't have the advantage of being a near-endless ball of energy like he does.

Todomatsu: He and Choro are the resident ticklees of the house, but he's a little better at avoiding it than Choro is. Is targeted by everyone because of his attitude and because he's the youngest and he hates it with a passion. Maybe not quite as much as Ichi does but he still finds it humiliating, especially the way Oso is so sickeningly teasy about it.

• Deep down there's for sure a part of him that enjoys being treated like a little brother, even in an exaggerated teasing way, but his ego's too big to let him enjoy it like Jyushi does so he's gonna avoid it at all costs.

• Choro is probably the only brother he doesn't mind tickling him since he's not embarrassing like Oso, painful like Karamatsu, or overly obnoxious like Jyushi, but he'll take the fact that he even has a preference to his grave.

• Will tickle his brothers if someone else is helping him. Has tickled Karamatsu on a few occasions while Oso held him down in an attempt to get him to change out of his tacky fashion before going out together, but he most commonly teams up with Ichi and Jyushi so they can all get back at the older three.

i can confirm, there are a lot of easter eggs in the entire series 😆 here are some:

1. the significance of #2.

if you’ve read the series, you’ve probably noticed that the number 2 showed up a lot. this is a nod to the fact that reader has to pick between 2 lovers. this also a foreshadow to how long the series would be.

2 lovers = 2 parts for backstories, 2 bonus parts, 2 parts for the finale.

2. max and daniel color themes.

parts focusing on max are black and white.

parts focusing on daniel are with colors.

this is how the reader sees her past relationship with max and her relationship with daniel. basically, it means that her relationship with max was dark, while her relationship with daniel is bright. max also has the black and white theme bc her relationship with him is hidden, meaning what she had with max has not stepped outside that’s why there is no light.

3. alternating parts.

when i published every part, i made sure that parts for max and daniel alternated. the release would be: max, daniel, max, daniel, max, daniel.

this wasn’t a coincidence. i did it on purpose because the alternating of parts represented the back and forth thoughts inside y/n’s mind. every time y/n thought she had escaped max, she found herself thinking about him again.

4. songs i picked for inspiration.

all parts focusing on max which are:

the other side of the door, we were happy, the way i loved you are songs from taylor’s FEARLESS album. (taylor’s version, ofc)

all parts focusing on daniel which are:

gold rush, cowboy like me, champagne problems are songs from taylor’s EVERMORE album.

5. the part 2, which is gold rush, foreshadowed the ending.

for the sake of everyone who has not read the ending yet, i won’t include here which was the exact part the foreshadowing happened… but one of the key parts was the scene in daniel’s childhood bedroom when he told y/n an advice his father told him. the advice literally said what would happen in the final 2 parts. can you pinpoint the other scenes where i foreshadowed the ending? 🤭

out of all the parts, why gold rush? because it was the 2nd part. this is yet again a nod to the significance of #2.
