Divulgence - Twisted Wonderland
Broken: Have you ever read @shiny-jr's 'I Didn't Ask To Get Isekaied' AU? If you haven't, you really need to. I shall not spoil it for those who have not read it but I will say this: This takes place after it's revealed who the 'Imposter' really was, but before the letters come into place. A Revelation, if you will. Now, let the words weave together & @shiny-jr, I hope you are reading and enjoying this as I have enjoyed your work!
It had been 3 Days since that Imposter escaped the grasp of the Dorm Wardens and their Dorm Members; except for Kalim of Scarabia & Rook of Pomefiore, everyone wanted nothing more than to find out where that Imposter was and deliver their head on a silver platter to Yuu once they became functional again; showing the Player through their puppet's eyes that they were worthy of the Player's Love and Grace, worthy to be called upon whenever the Player needed them. The Dorm Wardens would go around the school to look for the Imposter and that tratious backstabbing chimera, Grim; how dare he betray Yuu, betray their PLAYER, for this impersonator?! They were going to reap a powerful & horrible justice on Grim once they got their hands on him, and then...they would take his place at Yuu's Side and in the player's heart.
Or...at least...that was the plan.
On the 3rd day of not being able to find the imposter, a mass text went out to the Dorm Wardens to hold an emergency meeting in regards to Yuu, The Player, and The Imposter; what shocked everyone was that the sender was no other than Malleus Draconia - The Dorm Warden of Diasonia. He never really mingled with the other wardens, but - as much as they hated to admit it - he was the closest one to the Player's Puppet, Yuu; seconded only to the Chimera, Grim.
As the Dorm Wardens arrived at the main campus, they noticed something - the skies were covered in dark clouds as the thunder rumbled within them and flashes of emerald lightning struck the ground in multiple areas - this kind of weather was influenced by the Negative Emotions of Malleus, he was upset with something and it had to do with their Player; having an upset Malleus over this situation was not good. The Dorm Wardens all arrived outside of the door, Riddle was about to open the door when a familiar voice hit Leona's keen lion ears: He heard Malleus talking...to Grim!
Leona burst through the door and all the Dorm Wardens were shocked and angered to see the blue-furred, flamed-earred chimera standing on Malleus' Shoulder as he had done for the Player's Puppet for so long, and Malleus wasn't attacking him, just stood there looking sad.
"What are you doing, Stupid Lizard?! Where is your loyalty to the Player?!" Leona roared as he pointed at Grim, "That rat betrayed Yuu and our Player for that freaking Imposter, and you are letting him ride on your shoulder?!"
"Kingscholar..." Malleus started in a low voice, "There is so much you do not understand. Take a seat, so we might get started." Malleus said but Leona was not listening.
"Don't tell me what to do, Lizard!" Leona turned his glare to Grim, "Where is that Imposter, Traitours Rat?! Where are you hiding them?!"
"Oh, just shut up, Kingscholar. You don't even know why we called you here - there is so much more to this story than any of you understand, so just shut up and sit down so we can talk." Grim said. Leona growled at Grim but the Sunshine of Scarabia, Kalim, tried to calm him down.
"Leona, there must be more to what we know - we should listen to Grim and..." Leona turned his glare to Kalim.
"You don't get to talk! That Snake told us about how you were all buddy-buddy with that Imposter in Scarabia! You're just as much a traitor as them!" Leona yelled while pointing at Grim and Malleus.
"That's enough!" Grim started before inhaling and exhaling, "No one has betrayed anymore and there is no imposter - you all got the wrong idea." Grim started before jumping off Malleus' Shoulder and landing on the table, "Have a seat and I will explain everything."
The Dorm Wardens looked at Kalim as he was the first, they looked at each other before nodding and taking their seats; they were going to get rid of Grim and find the Imposter on their own. Malleus refused to sit and kept looking out of the window as his storm raged on.
"I'm gonna start this off with this: I would never betray Yuu. I would never betray the Player. I knew something was off about Yuu, that's how I found out about the player." Grim said.
"What are you talking about?" Vil asked.
"I knew something was off about my henchmen when I saw them sleeping: they didn't move, breathe, or even snore; it was as if they were nothing but a hollow shell. One night, I went to speak to the Dark Mirror and learned the Truth - Yuu was merely a puppet, controlled by a being of higher power - The Player." Grim said.
"We are aware, Grim. What does that have to do with anything?" Azul asked while adjusting his glasses, attempting to keep his composure.
"We all know 'Yuu' is a puppet & the Player is the puppetmaster, but do you know what happens when the puppetmaster is no longer there to pull the strings of the puppet?" Grim asks.
"The Puppet falls and lays there." Idia said from his tablet.
"Yes. That's what happened: The Puppet stopped working because the Puppetmaster wasn't in their place to control it. The puppetmaster is not in their world to control their puppet, because the master and the puppet are now in the same place." Grim said, causing everyone's eyes to widen.
"What do you mean 'The Master and the Puppet are in the same place'? Are you telling us that our Player is here in Wonderland?" Riddle asked; everyone looked at Grim hopeful.
"You would have known if you listened before attacking. You've been trying to kill our player since the moment they arrived on campus." Grim said.
Everyone's eyes got wider...with fear this time.
"What did you say?" Vil's voice shivered with fear for Grim's Next Words.
"You heard me, Pretty Boy: That 'Imposter' you all have been chasing and trying to kill for the past 3 days is really the Player themselves; they have arrived in Wonderland, and that's why their puppet stopped working a week ago." Grim said. There was a moment of silence before Leona stood up and grabbed Grim by his collar, yanking him in the air.
"YOU'RE LYING! YOU'RE JUST TRYING TO PROTECT THAT IMPOSTER AND..." Grim cut Leona off.
"I fail to see why I should protect someone who prevented my henchman from working and took my player away, Kingscholar. The Puppet stopped working because the Player arrived in Wonderland, in the town down the road a week ago. They came with the Ghost Camera because it's rightfully theirs. The puppet was only using it by their will. It's natural for them to have it in their possession when coming to Wonderland. When they arrived at Night Raven, they came to find us, but the Adeuce Idiots saw the camera and thought they were an imposter, without listening to them. As a result, everyone tried to kill them." Grim yelled in Leona's face before looking at Malleus, "Stupid Hornton was going to snap their neck, but I stopped him in time."
"You...YOU TRIED TO KILL MY PLAYER, YOU STUPID LIZARD?!" Leona yelled.
"I DIDN'T KNOW!" Malleus yelled, "NONE OF US, BUT GRIM, KNEW THAT WAS THE PLAYER; EVEN KALIM DIDN'T KNOW AND HE STILL TREATED THEM WITH KINDNESS! WE ARE ALL TO BLAME!"
The Wardens looked at the table as the realization sunk in: the imposter they hated was really the player they loved more than anything...
...And they tried to kill them.
Oh, Sevens, how were they going to fix this.

Top 5 historical R19 manhwas you should give it a try
It's been awhile since I post here. Thank you for following me. Can't believe I have 280 followers ^^♡ so I was thinking what I should post about and I thought "why not? Let's give adults here something to read" lol.
In no particular order, let's start:
5. The Sultan's Love
First of all, art is 💯. Story is simple and not that dramatic. You will def enjoy MC's naivety and ML's obsession. Smut is also drawn very well and although short, it's def enjoyable read. (Completed)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. Winter Wolf
Everything starts with MC trying to run away from rebels and arriving at promised place with a broker who will help her to get to safe place or... will he?! First smut is good and although MC's IQ decreases sometimes, it still has decent art and enjoyable moments. It has this creepy vibe at first but it gets better.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3. Marriage of Convenience
This one is timetravel/historical manhwa. There is both R15 and R19 ver out. There is alot of historical elements in it like child marriage and ect. Characters are living in a dark age if you ask me. eventhough MC's second life is much brighter, it doesn't change the real facts. I enjoy how ML grows closer to MC and is such a fanboy for her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. A Kind Goblin's Bird
This manhwa is pure fluff. MC being abused all her life learns how to love and embrace her deep scars from ML. I love how also ML had a tragic past but it didn't make him a tr*sh. They are a perfect and healthy couple for smut genre. (Completed)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1. The Broken Ring
Aka "This Marriage Will Fail Anyway". This one got R19 version recently and manhwa's art is so pretty you all gonna enjoy it. Aside from R19, I have to mention this story is deep and tragic. It will touch you heart and makes you cry and laugh with it. Do not judge ML in first chapters. Trust me.
(I couldn't help putting novel cover too. Both manhwa and novel have beautiful art.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And that's it. I hope you enioy reading these manhwas. Next post will be about "underrated action manhwas". Look forward to it. ^^

Broken Homes of Different Sizes pt6
Borrower Lyney and Lynette, Human Freminet (Slight au with borrowers existing, everything else is the same as canon)
—--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“You’ve been home for a while, are you on house arrest or something?” Freminet pulled his goggles up and peered down at the eldest of the borrower twins, face twisted with confusion at the tiny person on the floor.
“What? No I’m just… well.” Freminet hummed, rubbing his neck. “Father said I was burned out and making mistakes, I had been doing nonstop missions since she took over the Hearth so she made me take a week off from that work.” Freminet watched as Lyney scaled the staple ladder he had put into the legs of his desks and other furniture.
“What happens when you go back?” Freminet bit his lip as he put away his tools. Slowly he turned his full attention onto Lyney, only to cower a little under the sharp look.
“Most likely back to infiltration missions.” He admitted. “They’re usually a day or two at most. But I end up helping others with their missions if I get done quickly. Most of the other children of the Hearth tolerate me because I know my place. I’m the diver, the best to easily fake innocence.” He hid another wince at the unamused look being leveled at him.
“You talk about diving a lot.” The two boys both jumped at the sudden voice, turning to see Lynette poking her head out from behind a wall outlet cover.
“Nette…you’re not supposed to use that entrance remember?” Freminet winced as he reached over and pulled at the cover more, revealing a very fried outlet. “You could get electrocuted.”
“It’s fine, we cut the power to it.” Freminet glanced back at Lyney in horror.
“I- that’s not-” Freminet leaned back in his chair and rubbed at his face.
The twins snickered softly, they couldn’t help but feel inclined to tease the youngest of them, even if he was the largest. Older sibling privilege, Lyney would say.
“You haven’t left the house this whole time, usually you would be in the ocean for hours everyday.” Lyney pointed out after a moment. He watched Freminet’s head raise from where it was resting on his arms.
“Well, I wouldn’t feel right leaving you two here alone. I- I know you’ve been here for a long time before we actually met, but…” Freminet slowly reached towards the twins, pausing before actually making contact. “For the first time, this place feels like home. I’m scared if I leave for too long…that it’s all just a dream.”
Lyney crossed his arms and glanced at Lynette. “Well I’m 100 percent certain that we are real, and we don’t plan on going anywhere for the time being.”
“I know that, it’s just that-” Freminet sighed, pulling his hand away. “Have you heard of Loneliness Syndrome?”
The twins shook their heads.
Freminet hummed, closing his eyes. “It's a type of mental sickness that happens to people that become so closed off from the world due to trauma or lack of empathetic or even sympathetic interactions. The sufferer creates grand delusions and fantasies as a form of escapism, until the point that they can no longer separate the fantasy from reality.”
“It sounds like…you know about this sickness from experience.” Lynette whispered, earning a glare from her brother.
“It’s really common in the House of the Hearth.” Freminet’s eyes opened. “I was starting to get it, but when Father took over it changed too much. I was forced back into reality, and then I met you two.”
“Diving is your way of bridging the escape of the fantasy but living in the moment to force reality.” Lyney’s eyes widened. “That’s actually incredible.”
“I was lucky.” Freminet sighed, gently moving his hand back towards the twins. “Sorry, I- can I…um.”
“You need to feel us, we understand.” Lynette smiled as she pulled Lyney into the waiting palm behind them. She could feel the heat that Freminet gave off, more subtle than other humans she had been held by due to his lower core temperature as a Cryo user. “Your heart is beating fast.”
Lyney nodded, the pulse of Freminet’s heart was easy to feel through his own hands, if they were paying attention to it.
“Sorry, I just…am really attached to you is all.” The quiet confession seemed to shock all three of them as Freminet’s face burned red.
“Somehow, I saw that coming,” Lynette shrugged, only to get shoved by Lyney.
“Stop ruining the moment.” He grumbled, crossing his arms, sticking his tongue out for good measure.
The twins yelped softly as Freminet began to jostle them slightly, soft laughter coming from him. When he calmed down, the fond smile that he gave them was absolutely adorable, leaving the twins starstruck.
They were still getting used to the younger human, but it was obvious that they were in for the long haul now. This was their younger brother, no matter what differences they had.

Break for Jamie?
Aaaaahhhhh thank you thank you thank you for asking!
break: What would cause your OC to break down completely? What do they look like when that happens? Has anyone ever seen them at their lowest?
This is actually something that happened to him at least once pre-plot, so I know at least one thing that does it.
Okay so some brief Context, because I've never spoken about any of these little dudes here really. Jamie is a healer and a freakishly impressive one, which isn't to say he's never lost a patient, he has. That's life. But not a lot.
So, Jamie hates being trapped, but more than that being silenced (something that can happen in a very real way, if you're caught breaking the law by say... using healing magic without the permission of the church). But Even More Than That, his breaking point is being responsible for someone dying.
Now losing a patient? He recognises that sometimes that's going to happen regardless of how good he is as a healer, sometimes you don't get to them in time or there's just not enough left to heal. BUT at least once he tried to help by very lightly healing two people who'd gotten in a fight (all of them were institutionalised for illegal magic) which resulted in both people he'd helped getting killed by the People In Charge for use of magic.
When Jamie found out he just shattered. Which is, for him, giving up entirely. He stops eating, stops trying, just becomes a passenger in life completely devoid of agency because his agency got someone killed.
And yeah, our Quiet-Friend saw this, he the only reason Jamie survived it actually. It's resulted in him being incredibly protective both because Jamie's younger than him and smaller, and because he has to basically Be Jamie's will to live externally for a while or he'd just have ceased to be.

so, this is part of the "Purgatorra" series, this is a 1st part of the prologue, dunno if there will be more after this; it will be a surprise if so. I will upload the recovery part later on.
-
Tom was inside the abandoned home, having been told to investigate this source of paranormal activity that spread outward, he Looked around, seeing nothing but ashes and skeletons around a decrepit home, or decayed--mummified remains that littered rooms covered in cobwebs and mold, the only living things in sight were small insects that littered floors, walls, and furniture. Tom had the radar on to check for where the strongest source of this supernatural power was. Eventually he found out, He headed to a desolate basement, creaky old wooden stairs and the sound of old rotted pipes, a hole covered up by floorboards, an odd enchanting glow emanating underneath the boarded up area. And as he neared it, A burst of light destroyed the boarded up area, and a hand reached up from the hole, the vivid peridot glow now visible, leaving flames and wisps of light surrounding the ground, Tom tried to leave; running up the stars, but he fell, hurting his ankle on the way down, as the being trapping him in there had shut the door and destroyed the stairs. “DON’T YOU DARE! I’VE GOT YOU IN MY CLUTCHES NOW!” The unknown being hissed, grabbing Tom by the hurt ankle. Tom tried to grasp onto the ground, digging his fingers down. The wraith saw this and grabbed one of Tom’s arms away from the ground “Don’t even think of tearing out those nails of yours, there’s no escape…” the wraith said, grabbing tom by the arm, throwing him into a support beam, nearly toppling the basement over with how strong the throw was. Tom was in pain; his ribs were broken--as was his ankle. He now felt the Wraith drag him near the edge of where the supernatural power source was coming from; He shouted into his walkie talkie, sending a message that something was dragging him in.. before the wraith grabbed ahold of him. “Your foolish hero is mine now…” before the wraith crushed the walkie talkie. Tom felt the now broken floorboard break even more as he tried to hold on, now falling into the vivid green glow, taking him downwards……..and down.. And down….

*CRASH*
Tom felt pain explode through his whole body, he opened his eyes now, seeing that he was strung up by the vines of a tree. He felt dizzy and his body ached a lot; his left shoulder aching like a bad case of acid reflux, His ankle and leg clearly broken, only being held up by a part of a tree. He heard voices, those far away from him; but even with a cry of pain and fear, he still felt the hope leave him; as he passed out…..

Lonely Nights
Regardless of what companions you may have, a void in your heart incurs a deep loneliness. The loneliness of an unsatisfied void, a book left open, a feeling hanging on a cliff.
The princess of Aureum was never alone, but she was lonely. The capital was a cold place, filled with scheming politicians and social climbers. Ashiya knew her reincarnation came with a silver spoon. The King-Emperor of Aureum was powerful, and as his daughter, her new life ought to have been secured.
But (new)life for Ashiya Date was the exact opposite. There was no one she felt she could trust in the capital. The Aureum Royal Family were schemers by nature, her father the greatest schemer of all. Even before she got her memories back, Ashiya knew what it meant that her bodyguards were picked from the men who were loyal to him more than their own families. A gilded cage was still a cage.
The only person Ashiya knew wouldn’t backstab her was ranked among the highest of schemers. Ratari, princess of Nilibes, and her “soulmate”. A bond forced upon them by a rogue sorcerer, the highest level sorcery. Ashiya knew his intentions were good, but that doesn’t mean she had to like it. Ratari could never kill Ashiya, or betray her in a way that resulted in Ashiya’s death. But Ratari was still scheming, constantly. Ashiya knew because she was constantly scheming too.
As Ashiya climbed into her bed, she wondered if her…former friends had found themselves in this world. She wondered if they were schemers (well, wondered is overstating it. Keichi was certainly a schemer and Yu was too stupid to scheme his way out of a paper bag. Takeko…Ashiya refused to think about Takeko.) Were they surrounded by schemers like she was? Ashiya forced those thoughts into the ground. They weren’t of any concern to her. They hadn’t been friends for a long time.
Instead, Ashiya turned her thoughts back to Ratari. Ratari…whatever warm feelings that name brought were also crushed to the ground. Any weakness was a gap to be exploited, after all.
Yes, the nights of a schemer were lonely.
Keichi Idaten was left alone with his thoughts quite a bit. No sights to distract him thanks to his blindfold, and, as long as business wasn’t going on, the Hittaban Castle was pretty quiet. And sometimes, for Keichi Idaten, those nights were even quieter.
Even back on Earth, Keichi figured there’d be no glory in life for him. He would graduate, go to college, enter the workforce as a salaryman and then retire into the countryside namelessly and die known only to his family and coworkers. It wasn’t until Sharande pointed it out to him that he never included “friends” during that part whenever he told her about his assumed future.
Now that he thought about it, Keichi realized he never really had true friends after…the incident. Throughout all four years of high school he never went out with anyone, never went over to someone else’s house or to a park together or anything of the sort. His closest acquaintances were his study group or fellow student council members, but he never exchanged any emotion with them aside from acknowledgment.
Keichi thought he was damn pathetic when he thought of it like that.
But he never felt lonely back then -
No, Keichi thought, That’s not it.
It’s not that he didn’t feel lonely. It’s just that he was never able to notice it. What a damn fool he was. What kind of fool responds to the idiocy of an idiot by making an even worse decision. Those kinds of thoughts raced through Keichi’s mind a lot ever since meeting Sharande.
She wasn’t to blame for Keichi’s self-negativity, at least not her actions. No, it was just that the good she did only made Keichi realize how much of a fool he’d been. In spite of her loneliness, in spite of the danger, in spite of her importance…she allowed herself to be vulnerable to him. She was kind and allowed him to be kind to her. Keichi would never, ever forget the smile on Sharande’s face when he solved her final riddle, the crack in her voice.
But for all the good…it served to let Keichi see how much of a fool he had been all those years ago. And, without Sharande or Dandara or any of the friends he’d made in his time in the new world around…that foolishness weighed all the heavier on Keichi.
Yes, the nights of a fool were lonely.
A final roar of agony and a crash. That was how this fight ended, as had so many before it. Yu Suya allowed himself to catch his breath, looking down at the giant beast felled before him, ignoring the now routine feeling of his limbs screaming in agony for rest. The job wasn’t over yet.
It was a monster Yu hadn’t seen before. Some kinda giant monkey that could shoot lightning. While the lightning was a surprise, it was nothing he couldn’t handle, and, soon enough, it was dead like every other monster Yu set his sights on. Even if they didn’t know it yet, the people of the nearby village would be able to sleep peacefully tonight.
Yu, however, would not be making it back to that village tonight, with their beds and fires. Well, fire wasn’t a problem, but the grass and a bedroll certainly was no match for a bed. Yu finished dragging the monster’s corpse a decent ways away from the village, where no carrion hungry monster would be close enough to the village to start any trouble.
He knew how tomorrow would go. He would return to the village, trophy from the monster in hand, toss it to the village chief and say, “No need to thank me.” The village would all celebrate and Yu would find himself back on the road. Celebrations were always a blur. Congratulations and congratulations would be given, on rare occasions a couple of mother’s would offer their daughter’s hand in marriage (always declined), and Yu would be gone hours before the celebrations drew to a close.
That was the destiny of a hero. You never get to see the peace you fight for.
The hero’s share was dangerous battles, lonely roads, and quiet nights. Nights too quiet for their own good.
Quiet enough for the mind to turn to so many things. Yu could think of the people he met in the new world, his teacher and…that girl, so radiant Yu couldn’t think of an adjective to describe her, and his lips would curl into a smile at the thought, but Yu was never lucky enough to think of them the whole night. Some nights, he’d get to think of the people he saved. Towns raided by bandits, farmers terrorized by monsters. The praises they’d sing of him long after Yu left their lives. The happy lives they’d get to live thanks to him. Again, a smile to Yu’s face.
But that smile was always dampened by the inevitable knowledge that came with saving people. The people you couldn’t save. A livelihood destroyed, a life lost. No hero arrives before the problem starts. Never can a hero stop a problem before that problem’s already touched someone.
But a concerning amount, Yu Suya thought about those three people. The three people he betrayed so thoroughly, so crushingly. Goddamnit, how could he have been such an idiot. He was an idiot for not saying goodbye, he was an idiot for not realizing how much an idiot he was sooner, and he was the idiot who gathered them all for that reunion.
Yu Suya knew he’d wake up in the morning and he’d be right back to fighting bandits and hunting monsters. His eyes will have dried and no one he saves would be any the wiser. Heroes never cried after all.
Yes, the nights of heroes were lonely.
Takeko Pucelle hated being lonely. Which was strange, considering how much of a shut-in she was before being reincarnated as a princess. But Takeko couldn’t stand being lonely.
Mainly because she felt that she didn’t deserve the sad weight of loneliness. She deserved to feel lonely, alright, but she didn’t deserve to feel sad about it. That was her opinion.
Of course, she felt that way because she felt guilty, but she’d never acknowledge that she should feel guilty so that was just another reason to hate being lonely. But a void in one’s heart always leads to loneliness.
And it was always night when the loneliness came to Takeko. She knew she wasn’t truly alone. Hire was just around some corner, or, if not Hire, some other guardian, but it didn’t matter. There was no one to talk to, no one to make Takeko forget that void. And the loneliness. And the guilt.
Takeko Pucelle would never acknowledge how badly she fucked up. How could she? If she admitted that she was at fault…
The Princess of Orleagian couldn’t take that train of thought any further, rolling over onto her side harshly, pulling a pillow over her head. Loneliness couldn’t be acknowledged. Not here, not now. It was what she told herself every night, that she fucked up, but she was smarter now, she wouldn’t fuck up in the here and now like she did back then.
But every night, it didn’t work, and Takeko would drift off into sleep, heart heavy with that familiar, sad weight.
Yes, the nights of the guilty were lonely.

After an untold dispute transpiring between the sorceress and the royal family of Cestria took place, there has been a continuous battle between this powerful foe and the Cestrian Knights- whom even their strongest were often times forced to retreat. Then to finally end this ongoing conflict, Esmeralda concocted an insidious scheme to hold the royal family's newly crowned prince for ransom. The sorceress' scheme was guaranteed to be foolproof. That was, until a certain, foreign thief named Jack interfered and changed the entire trajectory of everything.
