BRITNEY SPEARS
"When I was a little girl lying on the warm rocks in my neighbours' garden, I had big dreams. I felt calm and in control. I knew I could make my dreams come true. For so long, I didn't always have the power to make the world look the way I wanted it, but in many ways I do now. I can't change the past, but I don't have to feel lonely or scared anymore. I've been through so much since I wandered the Louisiana woods as a child. I've made music, travelled all over the world, become a mother, found love and lost it and found it again. It's been a while since I felt truly present in my own life, in my own power, in my womanhood. But I'm here now." (The final paragraph from Britney's memoir, The Woman In Me)
