With the hour going forward an hour overnight, there was less chance of stumbling around murklins, one of the many beautiful and evocative words and phrases we have lost along the way as the English language continues to shape itself and evolve. Used as an adverb, it meant “in the dark”. Time to shine a light on it, methinks.

~22/9/2022~ Felt like I had been hit by a truck this morning - hadn’t slept well - I think I got too overloaded with stuff from work, unable to process, so was all racing round my head. Also went without the extra antihistamine for MCAS flare up in the hope it would lessen the daytime drowsiness issue but don’t think body was ready for it as MCAS symptoms returned a bit today and prob through the night as well. I delayed H coming in as I needed longer to rest before getting up properly. I phoned back Beacon House - basically the clinical lead wants more details from me and to talk to me directly - so got a phone call with her next week. Googled her name (always do when I’m having contact with a new professional - just to check they’re not an axe murderer!) - all looks quite positive… When H came she helped me with yet more washing (the covid clean up continues!). Then I did a food shop in Waitrose - and annoyingly seemed to have lost my one remaining money off voucher :/ We then went national trusting at Nymans - had lunch in the cafe and went through some dates with H. We had a gentle walk with lots of bench stops. I desperately needed to find a birthday present for my mum but I don’t feel up to facing the shops - can’t seem to tolerate much sensory input atm with this fatigue episode. Luckily I found a very cute cuddly toy squirrel that I know my mum will just love in the little shop at nymans. I understand bst being cancelled. I’m glad they are taking this seriously. From the start of lover era I kind of hoped Taylor wouldn’t tour and would spend time with her family. I’m getting my wish now. In a very different way that I thought of. I know it’s really hard for everyone to get something like this cancelled (for me this was the only thing getting me through this year so god knows what I’ll do). I can’t wait to see you soon T. Hopefully it won’t take another 13 years like me going to rep tour 😂. And as for everyone feeling like giving up. We have got this. And we’ll have a massive online party instead.

~3/7/2022~ Today was yet another day this week where I 'had to' wear make up (for rock choir performance) - no idea how some people manage it ever day! W came to help me - it was just a local 'gig' in the town centre - no special event or anything. But it was actually pretty good - we seemed to attract quite a large audience :o 🤘🎶🌟 Afterwards we went for lunch in a farm shop café which is always so popular - we tried their all day breakfast - pancakes - they were pretty good! 🥞🍓🫐 Pit stop at home to get changed and take off make up. Then we went out to sheffield park for a walk 🍃👣 It seemed to be less humid there, which was good. We got some little ice cream tubs at the end - I picked up a vegan one by mistake, but have to say, it was the best vegan one I've ever tried - very much rate Judes! 🍦🧡 I've been randomly feeling quite anxious and overstimulated today - not really sure why - may be MCAS as it is quite random and have also been needing the toilet a lot, which is another sign. Did some more drawing. Ocado delivery arrived. Played Sims for a bit for the first time in a while as find it a go to when I'm anxious and in need of distraction.
