I finished Defend the Dawn and I just loved it so much. I don't know what it is about Brigid Kemmerer's books but there is something that just makes me fall so hard and so fast for them and this book was not an exception. I loved the inclusion of Harristan's point of view in this book because that was the thing I wanted most out of the sequel when I finished reading Defy the Night. I hope she keeps expanding on Harristan's point of view in any future books because I think he might be my favorite character. Also the ending of the book leaves me wanting, no, needing more. I really enjoy when series start off rather contained in the beginning but as you go further in the series it grows bigger and bigger and I definitely feels this happening with series. I'm not sure if this is meant to be just a trilogy or a longer series but you best believe that I'll be in it for the long haul if the author continues to write more. I mean I loved it between this book and Forging Silver into Stars, Brigid Kemmerer has written easily some of my favorite new books this year.
