I Fixed My Room Yesterday

I needed to brush out my bunny’s fur because he’s in molt and needed somewhere to lean. My back has been hurting me again so I need to be careful. I brought an old favorite pillow shaped like a chair back and set it on the floor.

I forgot that I sit on the floor. I sit on the floor all the time. But I have fragile joints which is why I have the chair pillow. I forgot about the pillow. I stood in the middle of my room remembering and once the flood of memories settled down to a trickle I realized that this is what my room had been missing the entire almost two years I’ve been here.

I’m sitting on the floor leaning against my pillow. I watched the sky turn dark and read poetry on my phone. I did this a thousand times in my room growing up. I was on the second floor and there was a tree outside my window. My tree. It felt like I was in a tree house especially in the fall when the leaves turned yellow and filled my room with trembling gold.

But it was just as much my tree and my room in the winter when the branches were bare and dark and cast spidery shivering shadows from the streetlight on my walls.

It finally feels like my room. This is how I felt safest and most myself. Sitting on the floor in the dark of my room. Leaning against my pillow.

Also Brennan Lee Mulligan is obviously wonderful at voice acting - the range of accents and tones he can do is stunning. But also I just want to point out how amazing his expressions are too. He really knows how to do these very subtle acting choices within his facial expressions that convey really an immense amount of characterization/character context. And I just think that's kind of amazing. Really truly talented person

Pizzatober Day 31: Halloween Dance Party!

I can’t believe we made it! This has been a great journey. It’s been fun. Thank you everyone for the likes/comments/reblogs/follows across Tumblr and Twitter and for everything. Love you all! I got to follow and meet other artists!

I loved seeing everyone else’s interpretations for each of the prompts. This is the second Inktober I’ve ever done and I couldn’t be more happier. Thanks to Blackido for the template as always! It was a great way to get ideas because I wanted to draw more PT but I didn’t have ideas lul.

Hope all of you guys had a great Halloween! I’m gonna take a break from posting art for a week, I’ve been feeling tired from it but I had fun! It’s been a fun ride!
