writing update pt 2 of the saw fic (of who knows how much more)

okay i’m actually happy i was struggling tonight to write new stuff, cause i went back through what i wrote and corrected a lil thing and it made it flow so much better. also got to add a really introspective tidbit of backstory in adam’s past (including a blink and you’ll miss it reveal that yes, adam is trans in this au. as he should be. cause i wanted to include something to show he was but not make that the focus of the story yakno?) that ties together a hallucination he’s having (a positive one? if hallucinations can be positive? but i’m now planning on bringing this particular one back to show when adam is in more of a calm state) into an internal thought process which leads into a darker development. so like. yay! ironing out themes and details into something that connects is good. now i just have to actually like. advance the story into this darker development. also i think i’m about to hit another 1k words onto the total with tonights writing so. like. not bad actually. productive. gonna be at 5.1K by the end of tonight i think.
