A few days radio silence from me on tumblr because I’ve spent the weekend in London running the half marathon and seeing the sights.

H and the girls came too and were the best support squad I could have asked for, running around the course to keep finding new spots to cheer me on from. Every time I saw them, it gave me a little boost.

My finishing time was around 1hr 50 which I’m sooo pleased with. I kept up my pace all the way round, although the last 3 miles were really hard. I just wanted to stop and walk, but I made myself keep running.

I was in the top 5% of women finishers, which makes me so proud. I barely felt my knee pain as I was running (maybe bc I was topped up on pain relief before I set off!) but after I finished wow it stiffened up fast. 48 hrs of hobbling around and it’s on the mend now.

Sorry this is a total bragging rights post but I am proud of myself and my achievement! I also raised £1300 for the local charity that helped the Baby so much, and that also makes all the pain and effort worthwhile.

Okay so since all of the teens, including Scary, are need to go to Earth it will probably be the last place they go, as it will be a while before I think Scary and the others will work together again.

Therefore my guess is it will probably be the most important/heartbreaking anchor. This anchor is on earth so it must be someone originally from that world (so def not any of the teens +hermie).

My personal guess is Sparrow because the fact that Lark after seeing in the doodlers mind what Normal saw, never sought after the anchors to try and destroy the doodler. Why? Because he sensed his brother was one.

Lark with his pessimistic attitude and shown with the whole “we have to kill it” line, would assume the only way to destroy and anchor is to kill it, but as Anthony said about Tony that he had sort of loneliest points and then teens methods- tho slow, we’re actually working. I think that Normal and the others will show Lark that there is another way- that people can HEAL.

Anyways this probably won’t happen and might be completely disproven in the next ep but this is my theory for now

When I Started: I started thinking about the idea for this fic back in 2017 or 2018, and finally posted the first chapter in 2019 for a GaaLee event that encouraged posting long-overdue fics. 

How I Lost My Sh**: Of course, after posting the first chapter my brain was like “good job, now the fic is finished” (when of course it wasn’t) and it languished for months in between sporadic updates. I fell into ‘outline hell’, where my outline was so fleshed out that I felt as though I had written the fic even though I hadn’t. I actually tried to finish the fic originally for last year’s WIP Big Bang but lost steam after two chapters and dropped out.

How I Finished My Sh**: I figured signing up again this year would finally give me the kick in the seat of the pants that I needed to wrap these last three chapters, and ultimately it did! It didn’t hurt that I got paired with one of my favorite GaaLee artists of all time, who was wonderful to work with throughout the process and so encouraging. I was really driven to finish the project because I didn’t want to let her down!
