She soon began to get ready and eventually arrived at the arena and texted Nico before making her way to her spot in the sea of blue. She watched as her brother skated onto the ice for warm ups and she couldn’t help but feel a little guilty. Her brother had a specific rule that she was to stay away from members of rival teams. Even when they were in high school, any rivals were off limits. No one knew of their secret getting together even if they weren’t officially dating she still felt guilt. It was left in the shadows. It was better off that way for now. The game ended and it ended awfully for the devils. Rangers won 5-1 leading the series 1-0 and she knew Nico was going to be extremely upset. She sent him a text that she was on her way to him. Although she forgot she was placed in her brother's Rangers jersey and as soon as she arrived she saw him and he quickly ran up to her. “You shouldn't be here right now. I’ll see you later.” He said before attempting to leave but she quickly pulled him back. “Look I know I shouldn’t be here but I just wanted to tell you that you did good and don’t doubt yourself, you’re amazing Nico I’ll see you later, cap.” She said quickly before placing a kiss on his cheek before heading off to her brother. He couldn’t help but smile to himself. Maybe whatever this relationship is with a girl who’s brother is on their rival team wasn’t so bad afterall.

42. "braiding the other's hair" (from this prompt list)
braden was the kind of boyfriend who would blow off the guy's to stay in with you and have a girl's night, just you and him. it was one of your favorite things.
this night was one of those nights.
you and braden were in your dorm. you both were in the small bathroom. you were going through your face mask collection while braden picked a movie.
"so, what are we in the mood for tonight?" braden asked, scrolling through the netflix selection.
"anything's fine," you told him.
"all right, you can't complain about what i pick then." you laughed, finally settling on a facemask.
braden sat on the counter as he painted the mask on his face like you always did. he winced at the cold cool gel when it hit his face, but didn't say anything.
when you finished he went back to the starting up the movie as you got your face mask on. you heard the movie starts right as you finished your mask.
braden came up behind you and began playing with your hair, "what are you doing?"
"i learned to braid hair," he admitted shyly.
"oh, did you? from who?" you asked, turning around with a playful smirk on his face.
"youtube." he shrugged shyly.
"that's sweet." you smiled, turning around to face the mirror. you finished putting the mask on as braden continued to mess around with your hair.
you sat on the bathroom floor, which was less than comfortable, but you made due. braden had you sit in front of him as he twisted one piece of hair over the other.
"all done," he spoke, clapping his hands.
you stood up and checked it out in the mirror, "looks good, bray." you spoke, very surprised.
"why do you sound so surprised?" he asked.
"because i didn't expect you to know how to braid in the first place." you chuckled.
"that's fair." he nodded.

Pairing: Braden Schneider x Fem!reader
You and Braden are curled up on the couch with the tv on even though neither of you are really watching it. Braden leans in and plants a soft kiss on your cheek.
You playfully wipe it off, and huffs and leans in again.
This time, you wipe it off more dramatically, earning an offended gasp from Braden.
"Baaaaabe," he whines, sitting up slightly to look at you, "Quit wiping my kisses off…"
"Sorry, I was just teasing you."
Braden smirks, leaning closer, "I think you need another kiss to make up for it." Before you can react, he leans in and plants a quick kiss on your lips.
You laugh and try to wipe it off again, but Braden catches your hand, "Nope, no more wiping off my kisses."
He then starts peppering your face with kisses, making you laugh uncontrollably as you squirm under him. "Okay, okay, I give up!" you laugh.
