I have a headcanon. What if broppy have at least two kids and the oldest one feeling a lot of pressure because they are an heir to the crown and also sometimes is responsible to look after their younger sibling(s) also Branch is overprotective and that's annoying. And because of this they are really close to John Dory as their favorite uncle. They spend all the time together, JD teaches them everything about surviving in the wild and tells about his adventures. And the kid loves it so much that they would rather be a loner and travel like JD and not to be a future Pop King/Queen and spend their time with their parents and siblings and other pop trolls. So there's a big conflict especially between Branch and JD. And the kid says they hate their life, they hate Branch and would rather have JD as their parent. What do you think?

This is giving me such Lady and the Tramp II vibes! Seeing as the Broppy kiddo is kind of going through a somewhat similar scenario (Scamp wanted to have freedom as a street dog, rather than the proper lifestyle that his housedog life was giving him, and, ultimately sided with the street dog leader - Buster - in the confrontation when Tramp and Buster prompted Scamp to choose between them/their lifestyles)

Gosh, I feel like the angst would be high in this scenario, since Branch is conflicted about wanting there not to be any more conflicts between him and his brothers, but being unable to turn a blind eye to the fact that his kiddo has a preference for JD instead of him (which, now that I think about it, is giving me the same vibes as Boss Baby 2, where Tim’s daughter, Tabitha, was more excited to see her Uncle Ted and kissed him on the cheek, whereas her own father is given a simple handshake and zero ‘I love you’s 🙁)

JD would be put in an awkward place, flattered that his niece/nephew thinks so highly of him, but knowing that it’s crushing his younger bro. I would so wanna know how this bit is resolved.
