Book Review: Third Girl By Agatha Christie
#BookReview : Third Girl By Agatha Christie #amreading #mystery #readingcommunity #writingcommunity #goodbooks #recommendedreading #bookblog
A young woman confesses that she thinks she may have committed a murder, then vanishes, leaving Christie’s legendary sleuth Poirot desperate to find her and to figure out just exactly how one could not know whether they were a killer or not. This was a little slower than some of Christie’s other tales, but is good nonetheless. This slow burner presents a complex mystery where reality is…

A #Readathon and #Spookathon Update! Over TWO hours ago, I finished my first book for @deweysreadathon and my third book for Spookathon: Coraline by Neil Gaiman. It was delightful. ❤❤❤❤ . . . I even went and got my second book for Dewey's and fourth for Spookathon, Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi, from where it was in the living room. 😃🎉 . . . But then I checked my e-mail to see if we had any #ReadingSnack challenges (we didn't, but - nevertheless - see picture two above), did the #ReadathonPuzzle (shared on Twitter), shared a #BookNerdery post (also on Twitter), and wrote a #BookishLimerick (on...you guessed it...Twitter!). 😕 . . . Fun distractions, but still. . .Distractions! 😢😭 . . . Anyway, I am now going to start Furthermore! 🎉🎉🎉 . . . #DogsofInstagram #ReadingWithDogs 😍❤😍

How old were you when you made your tumblr? How did you choose your url?
Thanks for the asks :DI was 18 - I only made my tumblr October of last year. I wanted to make my url a book-related spoof of a book title in order to achieve mega booknerdery (I was originally going to go for thepaperbackprincess but it was already taken) and so I based it off of Here There Be Dragons by James Owen. It's a really cool fantasy book featuring C. S. Lewis, Tolkien, and Charles Williams as protagonists. I don't think many people get the reference, though, as it's not a really well-known book. Ask me anything!

This week I read:
Tumblr media
What an odd book! Interesting characters, intriguing premise (a haunting in a store instead of a house), and some intense scenes. I didn’t connect with the characters as much as I would have liked, which kept me from being overly vested in the outcome, but overall, great entertainment!

What I loved most about this book was the sense of 80s nostalgia. The plot was…

BOOKNERDERIE SAID: I ENJOYED ROT AND RUIN BY JONATHAN MABERRY. IT’S A GREAT STORY AND IT’S ABOUT ZOMBIES BUT IT’S NOT FULL ON CRAZY ZOMBIE LIKE MOST BOOKS.
Thanks! I read the synopsis from Goodreads. I already put it on my Wishlist and TBR. :)

booknerderie replied to your post“Just finished We Were Liars by E. Lockhart”
Was it worth the hype?
Well I only bought the book because it was $1.89 on the kindle store a few days ago not because of the hype. I probably wouldn't have bought it if it hadn't been so cheap because I don't buy many new books.
I definitely think it deserves the hype but I say this after finishing the book. The writing style was a little hard at first to get into and I wasn't enjoying the main character but on a whole I thought it was a wonderful book. I gave it 5 stars. It's a very quick book to read that kept me guessing to the end. I just loved the consistent presence of mystery.
