What's your hobby apart from reading? Blood and Silver by Vali Benson was an amazing read. I love the POV of the characters and the plot of the book. It is a simple book yet very interesting. The cover of the book is very eye catchy as well and it was the first thing i noticed about the book. Have you read this? What did you think of it? Que es lo que mas te gusta hacer aparte de leer? ...... #booksofinsta #bookreviewer #bookishcandle #bookphotos #bookishphotography #readerslife #currentreads #readersofinsta #bookbloggersofig #bookdragons #bookreviewblog #booksbooksandmorebooks #boonerdigan #booworm #bookwyrm #bibliophiles #bookishescape #bookaddiction https://www.instagram.com/p/Co7jeBio5Jx/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Many thanks to Berkley for eARC. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Miss Aldridge Regrets is engaging historical crime mystery that revolves around Lena Aldridge, a showgirl in London Soho, finds herself amid murders and drama of upper class family when she has to leave London after the murder of her best friend’s husband and owner of the club she worked at. The plot is filled with glamor, mystery and drama that take place mostly on the ship, RMS Queen Mary while all the backstories of characters take place in London that mostly includes what happenes in Lena’s life a week ago and how that influences her to take role on Broadway and board the ship to NY. I loved layers in the story and the setting of Queen Mary. We see the class differences on the ship, how the floors was divided in classes, some people were allowed to explore certain levels while some were not, and how staff also behaved as per the class they dealt with was interesting to read. We also read the struggle of working class family, life in Soho through Lena’s past and prejudice of higher class through secondary characters and Abernathy family. Mystery is most interesting, well written filled with red herring. Climax is tense. I couldn’t guess the killer until this point. I’m also disappointed with the reasons motive of whole game. It didn’t make sense the way the killer changed thoughts and decisions which makes the end weird, implausible and questioning the morals and ethics that’s why it’s a 4 star from me. However, I could agree on one thing one has to put their own survival first when caught in situation like this so I don’t mind Lena’s decision in the end. Overall, this is intriguing, well written and fun historical murder mystery with many layers and perfect setting. * Swipe for check points * QOTD - which is your favorite historical mystery? . . . . . #MissAldridgeRegrets #LouiseHare #BerkleyBooks #HistoricalFiction #HistoricalFIctionlovers #Historicalfictionreader #20thcenturysetting #Historicalmystery #Crimemystery #murdermystery #historicalmurdermystery #bookreview #Bookreviewer #readersofig #bookblogging #bookbloggers #bookbloggersofig #BooksTeacupandReviews #indianbookstagram #bookishaesthetic https://www.instagram.com/p/CfrZ16ovc8n/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

@between2novels recommended this book to me so I’m already getting to it. “Night Music” was the first (and only book) I read by @jojomoyesofficial and I fell in love with it. Let’s see what this has to offer. Judging by the synopsis and the reviews, I feel like I’ll be wiping my eyes constantly. #mybookfeatures #bookblogger #bookstagram #bookaddict #bookaholic #booklover #bookstagrammer #bookworm #bookishlife #bookishpost #bookbloggersofig #readingcommunity #readersgonnaread #readersofinstagram #readingaddict #readingislife #readingbooks https://www.instagram.com/p/CPbyyF6rilP/?utm_medium=tumblr

Alright, so here’s the quick anecdote:
Me and my boyfriend actually discovered this book by discovering the series accidentally.
Back prior the quarantine, and craziness of what would eventually spiral into, we went to Atlantic City in January. Not because we enjoy gambling, although I will admit we won $60 even which was great, but instead for a friend getting engaged. (Love you Remsha!)
Anyway, during one of the days, we had planned to go to a club (which also incidentally we found out was closed after we all got dressed up). But, before that information, me and my boyfriend happened to turn on the television to kill time and this random show came on with Jason Bateman.
We hadn’t seen the opening theme, or knew honestly what the hell we were watching, but it dragged us in with its grittiness and portrayal of this entire due process of Bateman’s character against this awful crime of a child. But, I’ll admit we were both really impressed with Jason Bateman’s acting, I know him to be the nice guy, the sweet dad in comedies etc, but in this he was like... a badass (dad) of course. Like, really, i was so impressed. lol.
It wasn’t until we watched the next episode did we come to know the show to be “The Outsider” and it was this theme that we just assumed HBO created another masterpiece like Euphoria. But, then on the way back we stopped at Barnes and Noble, and what did we find?
This guy. This guy RIGHT HERE. I admit, I’ve read a only a couple of books by Stephen King, Sleeping Beauties, which he’d written with his son, and then Salem’s Lot in high school, and a book about short nightmarish stories. Now, it was the latter two that really made me not care extensively for Stephen King. I found his writing very in-depth, very detailed and overall, boring. I mean, as a high schooler, how many times did I need to know the colors of the sunset that rose over the small town of Salem’s Lot?
Regardless, I festered with this idea that I did not like Stephen King until I read Sleeping Beauties. And, then it became 50-50. But, when I saw this book standing on its end-table, read the back, realized how intense the show and the book had to be (as all the episodes of the Outsider hadn’t been released when I did watch it to my knowledge) I thought to myself: I have nothing to lose.
And now, here we are, me excited to read a Stephen King novel and already having my suspicions of what exactly killed this kid. A courtesy that I was able to formulate through watching a few episodes. Like I’ve mentioned in previous posts, circles are a huge thing in my life. And, with this book, I think I was able to finally close the loop.

Book #14 of 2020 📚 My Year of Saying No - Maxine Morrey 💕 A rom-com that gave me all the feels. It took me back to the summer of 2014 when I first started talking to Benj. I absolutely knew after the first few days of talking endlessly, day and night, that this would be the last man to make my tummy do cartwheels. ❤ Admittedly, we spend a lot of our time bickering about who is hogging the duvet these days, but he was the final piece to our puzzle and I couldn't be happier. 💕 I managed to devour this easy-read in two sittings. It kept me up till 1am; following the story of Lottie and Seb was unputdownable! . . #motherhoodreads #Avidreader #Bookreviewer #Bookbloggersofinstagram #Bookishfeatures #Bookbloggersofig #Bookstoread #Booksonbooks #Booksmart #Booksforlife #Booksofinsta #Allthebooks #Weekendreads #Bookobsessed #Booktography #Readabook #Bookoftheday #Lovetoread #Bookbloggers #Whatimreading #Reading #Bookaddict #Homelibrary #Bookstagrammer #Bookish #Bookblogger #marketharborough (at Market Harborough) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_fUDh4hfqy/?igshid=1pts92dz57cxa

Happy Tuesday and Happy Publication Day to Ordinary Monsters by J. M. Miro! . 📚 BookReview 📚 . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- Do you ever read a book that awes you so much that you struggle to find the words to adequately describe your reading experience? Ordinary Monsters is definitely one of those books for me. The world-building is phenomenal. The darkness is expertly conveyed in every aspect and every scene. It is pervasive and immersive and can be felt with all senses. It sets the stage for a flawed group of characters who have suffered at the hands of others yet whose resilience remains stubborn and strong. It also hides layers and layers of meaning and story that slowly come to light as you realize the story you've been reading is different than the actual story you've been reading. Magic is my favorite part of any fantasy tale that utilizes it. In this story, a child's talent reflects their very personality, and I absolutely adored that connection. The magic is unique, with roots in magic known to the reader. I love that the story takes tried and true magical abilities, infuses them with unique ones, and turns them all into something fresh and new. Ordinary Monsters is told in 3rd person omniscient narration. The prose is so rich and compelling that it is impossible to not read and savor each word. The suspense level remains high from the first page to the last, and the plot twists and turns with unexpected surprises and challenges. It is a riveting tale that I couldn't put down even when needed. . 📚 . Do you like listening to audio books during road trips? . 📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚 . A road trip is the only place I have had any success listening to audio books. We don’t play audio books as much as we used to during road trips but then we tend to fly more than we used to. . . . . #ordinarymonsters #jmmiro #flatironbooks #fantasyreaders #fantasybooks #fantasy #epicfantasy #historicalfantasy #magic #tessatalksbooks #bookblogger #bookbloggersofinstagram #bookbloggerlife #bookbloggersofig #bookbloggershub #bookandflowers #happypubday #happypublicationday #newrelease #fivestarread #fivestarreads #fivestarreview #bookreview #netgalley #netgalleyreads (at Lake Davidson) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cegy4t3A06L/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

@garzantilibri #ilmalatoimmaginario #opereteatrali #libroinlettura #stoleggendo #lecturedumoment #passionlecture #bookstagramfrance #librimaggio #maybook #bookstagramfeature #booklovers #instalibri #nuovalettura #inlettura #buonalettura #ioamoleggere #leggerefabeneallasalute #bookbooksbooks #bookbloggersofig #recensionilibri #recensionelampo #recensionivelocidilibri #curiosità https://www.instagram.com/p/BxMKBEdHnAA/?igshid=sb384xlixs1r
