Last month I finally got my Dracula tattoo! Dracula has been one of my favorite novels since I first picked up the book on cd at my local library in high school, over a decade ago. I have been so delighted to see folks discover it for the first time through Dracula Daily and Re: Dracula here on Tumblr and across the wider internet. Being presented with thoughtful analysis and top tier memes after nothing but bad adaptations for so long was honestly incredible.

So, I figured y’all would appreciate my tattoo of Jonathan’s kukri knife and the Mina’s ribbon. I love it so much. It was done by James at Eighteen Tattoo outside Cincinnati. He’s @tattooslizard on Instagram and also did my adventure mouse in front of the Kukri. Highly recommend him if you’re local.

Next tat is likely going to be from Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier :3
